Worse Company ever and very unethical, they sold my debt and kept reporting on it for years. Currently pursuing litigation.

So far I've been happy with my service. Wish there were less fees though. I will give them a try for a year and see how things go. Trying to build my credit has not been easy. Merrick gave me a chance and I appreciate that.

I am happy with the service of the bank, they are efficient, professional and friendly. I will not mind to recommend this bank to a friend or relatives. My experience is that the bank is detailed. Follow up communication is excellent. Customer relation is efficient.

Very pleasant customer service. They said if I made payments on time for 6 mos they would double my credit limit and they did...Immediately, and I feel like that creates a good trusting relationship.

I rate their customer service at ten. They have very professional service. Very pleasant and courteous to talk with, very concerned about your issue and do everything within their to address it and solve it.

I am very pleased with Merrick Bank. Keeps me informed on my information of payments and purchases. And sends me reminders before my payment is due so I am on time. I think Merrick Bank provides excellent service.

I like that I was given a credit increase very soon after opening my account. What I don't like is that there are frequent issues with logging in (connection times out), which typically last for several days. Not being able to log in for days at a time is very frustrating. I have been told by Merrick Bank customer service that the issue is with my internet service provider, but it takes two to tango. No one else, and I mean no one, not a single one of my other accounts, banks, online stores, credit card issuers, etc., has this issue with my internet service provider. So, there is definitely something about Merrick Bank's web code that is in conflict with my internet service provider. This makes the issue Merrick Bank's fault.

Very upset when I found out I was unable to request a credit increase when I called your customer service. When I originally opened this card it was my understanding that I was able to request an increase over time.

Agent attended me quick and resolve my issue in less than 2 minutes. At end I was very satisfied. I would recommend this card. I have no bad complaints since I received my card and have used it. Try it out. You will not regret it.

This card is such a great benefit. When we have an emergency or unplanned bills, it is such a relief to know it's there. I used it for groceries the other day and will use it today to fill up my gas tank.

Merrick Bank has Excellent customer service service… I’ve called In and my call Immediately pickup and question was handled quickly. Also when making pymt it’s a step by step process that’s easy to follow. I also like that my statement Is easy to read..I’m glad I’m a customer.

I've had no problem with my card or services. Got increase on my card that I wasn't expecting. Can use my card anywhere. I hope I can continue to have and get the great service I've received so far. Thank you so much.

I am rebuilding my credit and received an offer for this credit card. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a generous credit line with the promise of doubling it in 7 months (after meeting the criteria). This will be right before Christmas! Thank you!

Great credit card and was happy to have it. Easy access to account and payments. Recommend. Glad to get bigger credit limits. Glad for online access. No issues. Probably better interest but hope to make some bigger payments.

Merrick is a credit card that keeps you informed and up to date with your account. Website is easy to navigate and statements are easy to read. Customer service is very helpful and knowledgeable. Never had any issues.

Horrific experience with them. I turned autopay off on my account and they repeatedly kept attempting to do an ACH transfer which is like writing a check. Since the money wasn't in the account to be paid then I was charged 49 dollars every time extra because of it. Then my account was closed out by them, and I paid 200 to get my account in good standing, they kept my 200 dollars. How can you have a prepaid credit card and owe them for the 200 that YOU put on the card. Merrick Bank card is the worst I have ever seen.

On 2 different occasions my payments to Merrick Bank have mysteriously disappeared in thin air. Very poor customer service on resolving the issue. Closed my account and will never return to merrick bank again.

I just received a 1099C cancellation of debt in the mail. I had to call the number on the form to find out what it was about because I don't have this credit card anymore. I was told I had this card back in 2004. It's been 12 years and I am now just getting this 1099C. Around that time I know I went through bankruptcy and the credit card was probably put in it. I do not ever remember getting a notice that I couldn't put it in the bankruptcy and to continue my payments.

Credit karma recommended Merrick Bank to build my credit so I got the credit card and two months my credit went down 100 points because of this card. They have outrageous interest fees and they charge you for using their card on shopping fees and then of your day late they charge you $29. In December I paid $85. I made three payments just to be in the negative of -14 because I was caught up and now I'm negative $14. I went down again and my credit I've already gone down 100 points in 2 months with this card. They have outrageous interest and fees. They have fees for everything. They make up fees for everything. They frustrated me. I'm no longer using this card. I'm cutting it up. This Bank Merrick Bank do not get it. Do not get it. If you're trying to build your credit trust me do not get it.

I'm very pleased with my card and customer service. After a year of having this card my credit limit has increased as advertised, payments are easily made through the app, and my credit score has risen over 50 points after a year of on time payments.

I have a language barrier. I haven't received my credit card. I contacted the bank, but there was no translator available. I speak Mandarin. Ineffective customer service. I tried contacting customer service, but there was no one available to help me get a replacement card. I don't think your service is suitable for me.

It's been a pleasure having this card. Easy to make the payments set up online everything so I can see everything. I'm just really happy with this card. I'm hoping it will build my credit back up over time of using it making payments on time. It's a good card.

I was lied to, was told one thing and then was told then was told that was false and will never happen. I’m about to cancel my card. I wanted my secured card to become unsecured and was told that after having it for a year with on time payments. Which they were. Don’t appreciate being lied to and I’m very dissatisfied.

It’s been a great experience so far. Easy to qualify, easy to use my card and payment scheduling was a dream. I’m looking forward to rebuilding my credit and increasing my limit through responsible use.

I have not had to contact anyone about any issues yet. I have had my account for almost 8 months and everything is fabulous. I love this account so far. It was the best decision I made to get this card from this company.

Merrick Bank was one of the first companies to take a chance on me, even with a low credit score. They've helped me to begin working on that. I am most thankful to them for taking a chance on me when others didn't. I couldn't be happier with their support and services!

So far so good. Working on getting the balance as low as I can so that I can take advantage of the automatic increase. I am trying to rebuild my credit as best as I can and I feel that Merrick is giving me the opportunity to do that. Thanks so much!

This company is such a fraud and scam. It should not take over 30 days to get my $500 back! Corporate hides corporate hides. They don't they don't want to talk to the little people so I will let them talk to my attorney! It should not ever take 30 days to get my money back after repeated phone calls.

I got approved, don't use it though. Everyone gets approved would be an understatement. I had a hard time applying. But the qr code made it easy. I got approved ASAP. I liked it. Tell a friend. I will. But I don't wanna share info to other people about me or extra money eye places like yours.
