Roxanne the manager at the Del City Oklahoma location is extremely rude and very unprofessional! Highly recommended not using this location or interacting with her. I went in and right away she was just rude for no reason at all. Kept repeating herself and asked why I was there. Once I told her I was there for my taxes she kept repeating herself 3 different times. I told her she didn’t have to keep repeating the same thing over and over again I understood her the first time. Then once I was told the holiday refund was on the 8th of December she proceed To tell me that multiple times in a row. I’m not sure what her issue is with the public but she should definitely not be working with them.

I've gotten my taxes prepared a number of times by H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt. While both of those companies are pricy, at least they're competent and ethical. A few years back, in an effort to save money, I gave Liberty Tax a shot in Columbus, Ohio at the East Broad Street location. My ex-wife and I both submitted all of our documents and information to Roxanna, and when Roxanna completed our taxes, she told us we'd be getting a Federal refund.

Liberty Tax in Market Mall Saskatoon had around 15 people squeezed into a 400 square foot space with no privacy, no cubicles, no closed door office space, and people shouting out SIN, DOB and other personal information!! And no rooms to discuss information in with doors only a wide open space!! Very unprofessional and very unethical!! Also some staff were rude and impolite.

Used the branch in Gridley, California. Was pleased with the service and product until my payment was rejected by the IRS. Turns out the account number was input incorrectly. I noticed the payment hadn't been taken out of my account and was concerned. I called and called and explained I needed some guidance. Should I make the payment directly to the IRS or is that something I should do through them. No response called 4 times with no return calls. Will not be using them ever again! I wasn't rude. I wasn't aggressive. Just asked them to call me back and give me some direction. That's the way to not get a customer to return.

Bad service. Took tax forms in a week and a half before tax deadline. Called several times and stopped in to check on progress. April 15 I was told they would be done by end of day. Went in at 5:30 not done. They were in the file cabinet and had not been looked at. Never go there again. Went to H&R Block instead.

I tried to use Liberty taxes this year. Their program crashed during preparing my return. I was told they would complete it and give me a call. The next day late afternoon I still hadn’t heard from them. I called and said they were about finished and I could come back in. I waited in reception area and when I was taken in to my shock I owed $400. The only price given in advance was $50 electronic filing cost. I didn’t have the $400 on top of what I owed the IRS so I paid $150 for the inconvenience. I ended up doing my own taxes online for $200. I understand people should be paid but $400 is not a reasonable amount especially when I wasn’t warned what the service would cost! I’m down $150 for absolutely nothing but inconvenience and frustration. This company is not recommended!!!

I once again had my taxes done at Liberty Tax on King St E in Hamilton ON. The whole staff was polite and helpful, and the visit was quick. They do an accurate job, and I have never had any complaints.

The office at Murry, UT is just the best! Norm did our taxes and is not only professional but fast and accurate. He was kind enough to answer all our questions! Highly recommend him to anyone needing tax services. Just the BEST-Period! Steve & Margaret

My husband and I have been with Liberty Tax for over 10 years. Our branch is under new management this year (Morrison St Niagara Falls). We are beyond disappointed with the cost of service this year. Which is over double what we paid last year for the exact same service note we file one T4 and property tax only. We always pay around $130.00 this year was charged $240.69 each. To process both returns we paid $529.67. It took 3 days to be able to meet with the Manager to be able to get answers for the huge increase. Waste of time given nothing but excuses, cost of programming from Corporate has gone up that they now offer more services (that I don't want or need). Have never heard of costs going up 60% in a year.

I will never use Liberty ever again in Cabot Arkansas. I had two w-2s and 1 dependent adult but I didn't even get earned income for him so why they went ahead and keep it that not sure but they charged me 500 and I am not sure why. The lady didn't read nothing to me. She just had me sign my name every where it needed to be signed then she went back and signed and gave me my tax papers and I called the next day and talk to the manager. She said she would look into it then she would call me back. I never heard back from her and I tried to call serval times since then and couldn't get any one. I called corporate but I'm not sure if they did anything but when my taxes were deposited I only got 390 and my return was 895. Not happy at all. So all my work all year went to Liberty Tax. Never again.

Went to Liberty Tax in Jacksonville, FL. Had a great experience. Bobbi was very professional and thorough. She double checked everything to make sure everything was correct. Highly recommend Liberty Tax. Will return next year.

Paid Liberty to file my taxes in 2021. I was contacted by my state 3 years later. Taxes were never filed, now penalties and interest. Spoke with Corporate office and provided proof was told that me and the state were lying.

I Love them, the staff at the Kentwood Location on Eastern is always friendly, courteous, and there when I need them. I will go nowhere else if I need a loan. Even if I'm on Vacation and need to be delayed until Monday they work it out for me. I hope the continue to flourish and get as many customers as possible.

Initial visit was ok, but after not getting any response from the IRS I returned the next day, it was explained to me that they were busy and had an extensive backlog for clients to even be entered in the system. Asked how long it might take and was told one to two business days. So the IRS hasn't accepted my taxes because they're still in the office of Liberty Tax, SMH. First time filing with them... Thanks for a bad first experience liberty tax!

I have always went to Liberty Tax because they were honest until I went to Woodstock VA. The manager said I have less return than last year I said ok, then I asked her how much were her fee and she said 185 for everything, so I said ok are you sure? Because I thought about doing it online for free, but I went with it. Went to do my taxes and I asked her again is 185 all that it is, she said yes, never got a statement, saying how much it was then found out she charged me another 65. What a crock of crap. I've never been so disappointed. ☹️ I will never go back to liberty again.

The accountant who did my 2023 tax messed up my tax. He submitted an incorrect social security number and calculated the payment incorrectly. Instead of submitting a $1943.00, he submitted a $1997, and I've overpaid $54. I've called the preparer and told him that he miscalculated, and if he could submit an amendment. He said he couldn't, and that he'll do it on my next tax preparation for 2024. I am not going to this Liberty Tax, located in Newark, CA Liberty TAX Office 15080. I've emailed him and he's not replying and also the customer service of Liberty TAX. I'll also submit a complaint to the BBB.

The office in Flat Rock, MI is an absolute joke. I have tried before to get my information emailed to me and the only guy that runs the office is driving around in his car, never sends me the info and tells me to call him back at a certain time. I asked what the number to the office is and he gave me the same exact number that I just called, which I guess is his mobile number. My information should have been emailed to me the first time I had my taxes done. I guess I just have to call the IRS to get my info. Do NOT go to this office.

My 2023 Refund was delayed for the first time in Florida despite having 2 previous preparers check it. I filed in February with swiftest options Direct Deposit and Electronically but was still delayed until May. So, I went to Liberty and I was hurting financially since not getting my Refund as usual on time. I paid Liberty $100 or more to help in this dilemma but they weren't very knowledgeable on Disability benefits since Florida weasels out on those things. The Liberty rep got confused on the distinction between State and Federal and on this Tax exemption of 03 vs 01 with an IRA. I wasn't very satisfied because not only was this unprecedented delay but Liberty made it worse and more delayed and my financial situation was worsened since I paid them what little I had left for money. And they didn't understand State vs Federal in this scenario. I would not utilize Liberty Tax again.

I gave one star cause I couldn't pick ZERO or NEGATIVE STARTS!! It took us a little over 6 months to receive our refund. When we did get it Liberty Tax, Noland rd., Independence, MO charged us over 35%! So on a $1800 refund they gained over $650! When we called to confront them the lady was rude and argued with us that she gave us a copy of the contract. When we asked her where it was and stated she didn't give us a copy of the filing or our W2s back she then said, "We are preparing to send you your copy now." Verifying they never gave us one. They took ¼ of our Federal and all of both STATES. Then a hidden fee to file electronically and have it taken from our taxes was another fee, the ANOTHER FEE for filing "injured spouse" form.

NO! NO! NO! I drive as a self employed courier and traveled 64,000 miles last year. All was recorded in daily entries in a small book, something I've done for more than a decade. I drove anywhere from 150 to over 500 miles in a single day. The manager for Liberty Tax in Pflugerville, TX only gave me credit for 30,000 miles and said that's all I drove. Then my tax bill would have been around $4,000. I took my records and book to Exacta in Round Rock and ended up only owing $455. I had to pay more than I owe IRS to Exacta for refiling my 2024 returns but it was all worthwhile. I did not appreciate the manager for Liberty Tax Service in Pflugerville calling me a liar at all!!

I walked in today and I was not scheduled for an appointment. Alex greeted me and said she would help me out that she was not scheduled till 11am. I was impressed with her knowledge. She did my self employment tax which I was needing to get done the last day to file, she was very helpful and my day went from gloom to BOOM. She did my taxes and I can breath a sigh of relief. If you are looking to overpay in fees hidden charges and totally get screwed then use them. Have my attorney looking at them. Also look at the 1391 .28 percent interest based on a 32-day time period not to mention the $ 54.95 fee.

The service was good but way too expensive for seniors. Is there any way to get some kind of refund? I live on Social Security. That is a hardship for me. If I had known I was going to be charged so much I would have gone somewhere else.

They advertise for 45 to 95 dollars but I just paid them 400 and something don't understand it.. Last year I paid 165. Please someone explain to me why so much. Is H&R Block better might go there next year

I went to Liberty Tax Services for the first time to handle my 2023 return. The girl helping me was new and had the manager check over my return several times. The manager that looked over everything was on a personal call the entire time I was there. Seemed very unprofessional. I told my preparer that I had seen a coupon online and wanted to use it for this visit. She skipped over my question and said we would get to that. Upon leaving and receiving my copies of the paperwork, I again asked how much I owe and was not given a total. I thought it was strange, so when I got home I reviewed all the paperwork and there was nothing stating my total for the tax preparation service.

I have been overcharged by Liberty for the last 4 yrs, and had to return to their office due to mistakes by the preparer, every yr. I will not be using them again. I would recommend to anyone seeking help with their taxes, to go elsewhere.

This company will lie to you for their own benefit. Was told as long as the criteria meets I would be eligible for an advance so of course I paid my almost $400 to have my taxes done just to be told I’m denied on the advance loan. After doing research, come to find out most people get denied and not approved as I was told. Stay away from this company.

This company is a joke, they messed up my taxes and I have been 6 months trying to get this resolved. This is in Michigan, and the Supervisor has given us the run around and cancelled meetings. I do not know what is so hard about getting this fixed.

Liberty Tax prepared my taxes with an extensive error (more than once) that has caused me to owe many thousands of dollars in taxes and penalties to the IRS and the State of Colorado. I only found the error when I received a letter from the IRS, two years from the time I filed, stating that I owed $191,000 in taxes (yes, you read that right), but Liberty Tax (the local office AND the corporate office) would not stand behind the guarantee of making it right, so I had to hire a new CPA to repair the issue (still ongoing) and an attorney to regain the money I paid out because of their error.

I'd used Liberty Tax for a number of years for annual tax submissions. They did not note and advise that my employer had not paid a city tax for the City that I lived at that time. I received a notice from the city stating that I owed them several hundred dollars, plus penalties and interest. We have attempted for several weeks to get a resolution with Liberty Tax. Customer service keeps saying (numerous calls) that they will have someone call back, but nobody will. In the meantime, the penalties and interest fees are increasing.
