When I first started with Fresh Start Tax Relief, I had tax problems. They were able to help me out, and since then, I've stuck with them. So far, so good. They're punctual, and they listen, which means a lot. Throughout the years, I got tax people calling me and offering their help, but I said, "You know what? No." One of the main reasons why I didn't change is because Fresh Start knows the basics of what I started with. If there were any questions to be asked by the IRS, they would be the best people to handle my case for me.

They were great. Everything they said they would do, they did. We had multiple years of not filing taxes. Once they were on whatever year they were doing, they were quick. The reps were awesome. They were very friendly, courteous, and understanding.

The reps from Fresh Start were excellent. They followed up and returned calls. They did a good job. It's worth a call to explore your options. It worked out well for me.

I contacted Fresh Start, and we set up a payment plan. They asked me for a bunch of information that pertained to my income and assets. I sent it to them, and they would call me every couple of months and give me updates. It took about a year and three months, from start to finish, and I got a fresh start. I was in a big hole and Fresh Start helped me out. If one has tax issues one couldn't resolve, it's a worthwhile investment to hire them and have them negotiate on one's behalf.

I had a tax debt that was overwhelming from whenever my kids were medically challenged as babies. The lady that I spoke with at Fresh Start was very concerned, helpful, and knowledgeable, and made things very layman easy. She said, “Everything that you're going through is not your fault. This is where we come in and go through the process.” I did the relief with them. I got another tax thing that I owed. I called them right away and they said, “We'll just put that one in with this, resend you the paperwork, and get it all out to them to put a stop to the garnishment.” They were able to add on even though they had already negotiated for me. They added another year on for me, so it took care of 10 years.

I had problems I needed fixed and Fresh Start helped me. The process took about eight months and I was happy with everything.

Fresh Start stayed in contact and they let me know what they needed. The paperwork was very complicated material but everything was highlighted. It says, “Sign here.” and it was very simple. I put in all the information and I signed over a power of attorney and then, all of a sudden, all the letters and stuff I was getting from the IRS stopped. They sent me the package for a compromise and offer and showed me all the places I needed to sign. Six weeks later, I got a letter from IRS and they accepted my offer and compromise. I made my payments and then I got a letter from the IRS saying that we're square.

Fresh Start is pretty cool. I was stressed less. They did the requirements. They always updated and gave me the advice. The consultation process was nice. They provided us with all the rules and agreements. So, we can decide by ourselves, not by them, which we did. The program was completed and it was successful.

Fresh Start has been unreal. Their reps Nayri and Lynn have been great to work with. They quoted me a price to facilitate to start the process. Everything was exactly what they said.

When I called Fresh Start, I was kind of frantic and the rep was really calm and she calmed me down. She made that payment plans for me. Optima Tax wanted a bunch of money upfront, and she made me feel really comfortable. The fact that they were letting me pay it out was appealing. They stayed in contact with me, too.

My experience with Fresh Start Tax Relief hasn't been very good. I told their rep, Lynn, I would use them again this year. I sent them the 375. All they did was send me back the completed work and I mailed the payments off. They should get me my taxes back on time. Last year, I sent them in late and got an extension on them. Somehow some way, they mailed it to my post office box in Bend Oregon, which I hadn't had for four years. I was late in returning my taxes to the IRS so I was penalized. This year, I sent them my paperwork on the 1st of March. It is almost the end of April and I still haven't got them back. Another thing is I don't mind working with Lynn but I don't get along with the gal in the tax office.

My experience always has been good, and I've never had a problem. Fresh Start has always taken care of me for my taxes. They're always hands-on and always calling me. With my taxes now, they're checking in on me to make sure I get everything in. This one's been ongoing for some time and I don't know if COVID interfered in it, but we still haven't reached a solution yet. Other than that, there's always been an open door policy, and I can call directly to anybody. Give Fresh Start a shot. The company that they were with prior to this one took care of me with the federal taxes, and I believe that they'll do the same this go-round.
