Working with their consultant was pleasant; they were straightforward and provided necessary documentation. They detailed what our potential payoff could be, assuring us that through negotiations, that would be the final amount we'd pay. I found the pricing fair, especially considering the interest and long-term benefits compared to paying minimum amounts on our own over the years.

    The service was set up with an autopay option, which suited us well, ensuring hassle-free payments. Progressively, DebtBlue has positively impacted our lives by easing our financial burdens and providing peace of mind. They promptly inform us of new deals and allow us to decide whether to accept or renegotiate, which is reassuring. I do have one caveat; we weren't initially aware of the potential negative impact on our credit score during the negotiation process, which was not explained to us. Once the settlements were processed, though, our scores largely rebounded, except for one creditor who remained firm.

    Luis helped me figure out what was going on with my account! Luis was very patient with me and he knew just what I was talking about! One lady has me so frustrated and told me in all do respect several times that she had no idea what I was talking about because I could not give her which company! I kept telling her that I did not know which company because the lawyers on the judgment case against me did not say which company, I just knew that it was over 6000! And all this started when I got a letter from Jeremy Johnston saying that that Blue told him that I canceled him and that was not true. I hadn’t talked to that blue in a long time. It’s Thursday, February 13, 2025. I didn’t doubt that it was Sears so I couldn’t tell that lady that helped me before Luis!

    I called back and I got Louis and he knew just what I was talking about. He was wonderful and he did help me very much to understand what was going on and that you all were working on this account.! And Jeremy Johnston said well you better call the liars from that because they may still put a judgment on you then you can call me back because the account is not settled yet! And I did think that it was settled because I was paying an extra $300 to help get this settled now I was gonna pay the $300 until the end of September. I guess it was a year!

    Please thank Luis again for me! I was so worked up with a person that I got before Luis! I know this is supposed to be about thanking Louise and which I’ve have but you don’t need looks like the one lady that put me through a lot. I don’t remember her name, but I talked to her just before Luis! Please keep my buddy Luis there! It got so frustrating. What’s the other person? I just wanted to say I asked for somebody higher and when this happened, she said something at hung us up and she never called back. She had my phone number there.! Thank you, Carolyn, Jean, Mckinney and Gary **! We’ve been with y’all five years and that’s why I didn’t need a frustration with that one lady that I don’t really wanna remember her that I will remember Louise and maybe I’ll just ask for him each time if I can! However, the enrollment process was quite lengthy, taking longer than expected. I've been in the program for about a year and a half now, and while they've made progress on some of my debts, the process feels slow. It's concerning because I've had unexpected legal issues, which has made me anxious. The customer support is good, but I'd appreciate more proactive communication from them. I often find myself needing to call them for updates rather than the other way around.

    DebtBlue initially started helping by attacking a significant debt I had and reducing it significantly, which was an immense relief. However, the lack of frequent communication makes it challenging to see the ongoing progress. I haven't used their website to track my debt settlement, but I'll consider it now for more convenience. I'd advise friends or family that while DebtBlue can help, managing expectations regarding how long it takes is essential. It's been almost two years with just one debt paid, which can be frustrating. There are also other options like national debt programs that are similar.

I came across their service somewhat randomly, gave it a call and was convinced after speaking with a representative who spoke well about DebtBlue. The enrollment process was swift, then it took about a year to get all the things situated, all the loans and the consolidations to get the payment all ready. Now, I'm just making my payments back on the loan. It felt better knowing that they were paid and I only got the one to consider instead of several. So, that worked good. I don't care for the high interest rate on it. But other than that, it's fine. I'm making my payments and just ready to get it paid off and be done. It's a nice program.     The enrollment process was painless. They ran the credit. They were able to find the accounts, do the math of what it would come out to be and provide all the documentation on what to do when entering the program. In the beginning, I was very confident. Once I had my initial account hit the first legal threshold, which is normal during the process, where they go to sue and, "Now you pay the debt. Here's now the payment program." Somehow the wires got crossed and two accounts went into it at the same time. So, DebtBlue fumbled and lost one of the accounts in the running, which in turn caused me a lot of grief and penalty. DebtBlue was unable to recover any kind of timeframe or with any kind of promise on their end. I refinanced my house, paid off everything and walked away from their program.

    While I'm very dissatisfied with them, they did a lot of things right with their documentation and being able to do a lot of informative packaging. It's unfortunate that with how large that company is and the way that the communication is, their legal department and their front-end department don't always talk on the same timelines. That leads to a lot of confusion on a consumer front.

    In the beginning, the experience was very good. Customer service was there answering all my questions. However, everything that was promised to me was not committed. I was very disappointed and won't recommend their services. I did this before with another company, and I explained to DebtBue that I thought it was already paid up. They told I still owed much. I told them, "If I pay the 2,500, I'm not gonna be dealing with you guys anymore?" They said yes. But it took forever for them to send the payment to Capital One. I was supposed to be in the program for 12 months. But I was with them almost 18 months and paid more than I committed. I could have just paid Capital One on my own and saved all that hassle.

    It was terrible. Every time that I talked to somebody there, they didn't know what they were talking about. Somebody would tell me I had $2,500 more to pay, another one would tell me I had $1,000 more to pay, and another one would tell me I already paid. That was very aggravating. Towards the end, it was very difficult to get in touch with anybody. It's almost like they blocked my number. They also told me I could go online and create a username and password, but that thing never work.

    Perhaps it wasn't a good fit for me. The customer service was always pleasant & professional. There is a client portal available but was never able to get assistance in understanding the available information. It was next to impossible to obtain any guidance in utilizing the site so that I could help myself more. A tutorial would have been helpful. It seemed that they were more interested in getting me signed me up as they lightly danced around important particulars; eg how the program works, my participation, etc. I wasn't thrilled about their efforts to follow-up when negotiating with creditors. It seemed I had to be overly proactive about inquiring the status of a pending negotiation.

    I'm not really surprised that whenever I would call customer service I could never seem to get a specific individual that I had previously been working with & had developed a good rapport on a specific creditor/situation. Upon receiving legal counsel; for various reasons, I was first advised to immediately cancel my contract with DebtBlue. I strongly suggest, before you sign up with any debt consolidation program; do your research: pros vs cons & the availability of other options. Your banker may have a financial advisor available to you at no/little cost. There are lots of personal financial programs/links available to help. The decision is yours.

They changed my monthly payment agreement demanding even more money each month to "settle accounts" AFTER this was All initially reviewed and agreed upon initially. They are not upfront on how they operate. I am sorry I ever got involved with this company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and be careful about your initial payment agreement - they will play games with that and look for even more money. DO NOT RECCOMMEND!!!
