If I could give a zero... We have had a case with them for almost two years trying to make a deal on my husband's old tax debt from before we were married. They did such a horrible job - I have no words to explain how inept each person I have talked to has been, how little they actually care about their customers, that now we own significantly more, they have dragged me into it, and they continue to have a hands-off "it's not our fault" attitude. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. It's more worth your money to pay an online course and figure out how to do all of this stuff on your own.

During the Obama Era we paid this company to deal with the IRS after THEY defaulted on our deal for no reason. I refinanced EVERYTHING TO PAY THESE IRS THUGS. At 69 I still work. NEVER give these people money. NEVER!!

I can absolutely state that Community Tax staff, from beginning to end, acted very professionally. They communicated well and kept up with me in regards to help catch up with quite a few tax years. Illness prevented me to catch up on my own with the IRS so I found Community Tax after a short search and their sales team explained the steps and cost and made the process seem very seamless. Finally after my case was submitted and then approved by the IRS makes me feel like the world problems has been lifted of my shoulders. Absolute fraud. I owed the IRS $30,000+ and they told me that if I paid the $5,000 that I would not get my wages garnished and I'd stop receiving mail. They told me that the interest would not be accrued but that my future tax returns would be reevaluated to see if I was fit to pay the money back. THEY DID NOT PROVIDE! The only thing to stop the interest from accruing is to set up a payment plan with the IRS! One year later and another $2,000 in interest, here we are. They use people from out of the country with thick accents that don't explain anything properly and point to the LONG contract, when what they said goes against WHAT THEY ACTUALLY DID!

I hired them to help with my tax issues. Paid upfront in full. I was told I had to get them information from the IRS and I did. Then they kept saying they never received it and I kept sending them the same past tax information. They said I was in non collectable status and they were done with everything. Today I get a call from Terry ** for an appointment. She asked my name and I confirmed that it was me. Then she said what is my middle name so I gave it to her. She said, "Did you make this appointment for today?" I said, "No." She then says, "Oh hold on. We have another person that has the same name."

I have been working with them for a few years and they only made it worse. Slow follow up, asking for items the Revenue Officer didn’t even need. Even had an installment agreement and it was not processed. At one point was told they can only respond to an email or call once per 24 hrs. Waste of money.

Community Tax filed my report without getting necessary information from me. I told them I was married and yet they still prepared my reports as single. I was told I would receive advice on future taxes and why to improve my situation and what I get is a person calling me and saying they do not know why they had to call me.

Community Tax has helped me resolve my tax issues, that I have with the IRS. Community Tax has represented me with the IRS and setup a payment plan with the IRS. I am pleased with my monthly payment to the IRS and any questions I need answered about my taxes I feel comfortable calling Community Tax for quick answers. I have an excellent first contact there at Community Tax named Demetria ** who answers her phone or will return my call within 24 hours.

The folks at Community Tax....a LIFE SAVER. When I tell you the IRS was on me, it all started with the letters. They began to come more frequent so I started looking for help. They did a very good job on my tax bill and saved me a lot of money. Was worth going with them. Would highly recommend their service. Demetria did a very good job at navigating you through the process and again saved me a ton of money and headache.

The rep I work with knows how to expedite my account appropriately. Also, he makes me feel assured and very comfortable. But there were reps I had to go through who weren't returning my messages and calls and I found that to be very uncomfortable. Other than that, working with Community Tax shortened all the footsteps I had to take to get where I had to get and what I got.

The reps worked with me consistently. They were there explaining everything, and the communication was good. I just wish they could have gotten my taxes reduced more than what it was. But apparently, that wasn't possible. I've been having a rough time, so I couldn't pay my taxes and I needed Community Tax to help me. Their cost is a bit high, but that’s just because on my end right now, my income status changed. In a better situation, it might have worked out better, but Community Tax did what they could do. The IRS is not garnishing anything.

I thought I finally found a company that could help me with my tax returns for years to come. Boy was I wrong. Last year I asked Community Tax to help me prepare my returns and was under the impression they would help with tax returns for years to come. Last year's tax return we had to file an extension. This process is usually done electronically but they actually mailed it in, The issue is they filed an extension for the wrong EIN number which resulted in fines from the IRS. The corporate return took so long to prepare I had another company step in and complete the individual return so I could be assured it would get filed.

I had several years of tax buildup because of an attack. It was a fraud. I had somebody file under my social. So, that really scared me from filing for several years. I had five years of taxes that I owed, and I didn't have a large amount of taxes owed. A lot of places won't deal with you unless you have over 10,000. After looking into it, it looked like Community Tax didn't really mind that. They never made me feel insignificant. They took care of everything. They passed me from person to person through the company through the different stages. I never felt like I was left in the dark. I was really blessed to find them. They did an amazing job.

I was calling the IRS and asking them what were some of the first steps that I needed to do to get back on track other than outright paying the money itself. Community Tax's number was passed on to me and that was when I set up with them to correct my wrongs and to relieve me of my debt situation. My experience with them has been good. I make my payment and I actually signed up for additional service with them. The first service that I got going with them was to repair my taxes to get me debt-free. The second service that was referred to me by them is a monitoring service. They're gonna file my taxes for me and make sure it's done right. In the past, it was done wrong and that was why I came up owing the IRS.

Community Tax had a really good salesperson, and I absolutely felt I was in good hands. However, I was working with them directly for almost a year, and the communication was not there, which caused some frustration. They set me up with a loan so we could go ahead and set that up. For the job they did, it was absolutely worth the money. For what the resolution ended up being, 100%, dollar for dollar, worth it, but for the lack of communication, not so much.

I was on a mission to get all my tax paperwork caught up so I searched Google and Community Tax came up. I chose them and they helped me out a lot. their rep kept in contact with me. She answered any questions I had promptly and she was very attentive to what I was asking for. They were very clear about how much they were needing and how much it would cost for me to move forward.

My experience with Community Tax was exhausting. It was a two-year process, during which I was still incurring interest and penalties. For every bit of 10 months to a year, all of my calls were based on the IRS is still backed up and they haven't gotten to me to some degree. My tax bill was $46,000. What the IRS did was they filed my tax and my wife's tax separately when we've always filed jointly. There was a discrepancy.

Community Tax was wonderful to work with. They were always on point and very communicative.
