    Community Loan Servicing is a very decent mortgage company. They doesn't seem to be a rip-off. The only problem I had was I was trying to change my date to the date that I get my Social Security, but they would never let me change my date on the modification loan. The reps seem to be knowledgeable but they gave me no explanation. They just said I had to keep whatever date they had on the contract. But everybody’s courteous and that means a lot to me. I’m satisfied with the services.

    The process was fine. But the underwriter was so slow. She didn't look at the file in one shot. She went like via a menu. So when she found something missing, she stopped and asked for it. Then we sent it then she continued. But she found something else. She took her time because every time, she put the file aside and when she got to the file again, she took more time. Then she found something else missing. After we finished all the menu, some items we submitted earlier expired. She asked for them again. So it took a long time. She was not experienced enough to look at the whole requirement. There are 10 requirements but three were missing. She requested these three missing requirements and then we sent it over one time, and it was done. But I wish next time, they just look at the file in full and ask for the needed documents one shot and then we could send it one shot and we're done.

    I refinanced with someone else, and then they sold the mortgage to Community Loan Servicing. As far as their customer service, I got all the information that I requested when I called. So, it was great. I did have to wait about five minutes but it wasn't even that much. With other companies, I've waited even over 40 minutes.

    My loan just transferred to Community Loan Servicing and no one will answer the phones. I have called the following numbers 855-813-6597, 800-457-5105, 305-646-3980, 877-676-1565 and 800-771-0299 and once I select my option (which I have tried them all) I'm transferred and recording states this is not a working number for Community Loan Servicing. TOTALLY NOT IMPRESS. I have also emailed them with no response. If anyone knows how to reach this company please respond thanks.

    I paid my mortgage through my Bill & Pay with my bank, and I paid it on the 4th but Community Loan didn't collect it till the 22nd. So, I've got missed payments that really weren't. I don't want my payments to be marked late when it's there and it's not collected. I have six mortgages because I invest and none of this happens with any other mortgage company I have. It's annoying me.

    The reps at Community Loan Servicing couldn't have been nicer folks to deal with. I needed their service to get my mortgage straightened out. Also, I was hit by a car and out of work. Then, we were COVID infected and we're looking for work right now. Community Loan Servicing was able to defer the payments to the rear end and back to my monthly payment. But I didn't get the escrow resolved. The lady that I worked with was able to walk me through four various options and was so personable. It was almost as if she could relate with the situation. I deal with a lot of customers myself as I work for waste management and her demeanor was how they were trained. Whereas I've talked with others and they were just terrible to talk to. So they must have very nice culture there at Community Loan Servicing.

    The whole process of working with Community Loan Servicing was really good. It was smooth. I just called in, spoke to a representative and it was all set up within a matter of a few minutes. However, when I was trying to see when the forbearance period was ending, I had a little problem with some of the representatives getting an exact date. I had a hard time getting an answer. The last person I spoke to was more knowledgeable. Other than that, the whole process went really well. They were always good about calling me and staying in touch. I got emails, too. It did go a little while there toward the end where I hadn't gotten any phone calls, which concerned me a bit. Because I thought maybe I had changed one of my call settings. But I've been pretty happy with the service that I've gotten from them.

    I put up money against my house and Community Loan Servicing let me borrow X amount of dollars on it and they promised me in six months they were going to refinance with a 15-year note. They totally knew that the house wasn't finished and because of that, they didn't refinance it. They hung me on 30 at 10% interest. I had good credit but it was too short a notice and I built on three quarters new construction on my house. I'm still paying on this 30-year note and on top of that, I got the kids to raise and the wife educated, which was 85 grand that I had to come up with to get over that. They did not do what they said they're going to do. They got the house. They got me.

I lost track and I thought I was behind in my mortgage but they informed me that I was not. So, they helped me make a payment for the month that we were in. It’s easy to make a payment although sometimes, there is a little bit of wait time. But then, they're very helpful once you get them. To keep track of my progress, they send out monthly statements. If I need information in the meantime, I can call. They give you a number or a way that you can reach a customer service rep.

    The loan officers at Community Loan Servicing were all very helpful. When they offered the forbearance program, the one lady was so good. She really took the time to walk me through the whole thing. I just wasn't very fortunate to get her again. She was the best agent throughout the process and everything that I had experienced. She was really nice, patient, kind and empathetic. Then I got this guy and I was giving him my routing number and bank information, and he was talking so fast. I couldn't keep up with him. Now, I'm in a deferred payment plan program, and it's okay. It's holding me accountable to do this and this. It's kind of frustrating that at one time, I had a bank loan that met my needs. The only thing that I didn't understand is that, was I reapplying, refinancing, or what was I doing with my home? I was losing the interest and the equity in it if I had any.

    Cheryl and her team's immediate follow up to rectify the error completely changed my initial opinion of Community Loan Servicing. It turns out that the incorrect mortgage balance is really due to Rocket Mortgage not having transferred the one-time payment amounts that I had made prior to the transfer of the loan. Cheryl personally kept me updated throughout her team's follow up with Rocket Mortgage via timely phone calls and ultimately resolved the issue quickly. Further, she assured me that they are proactively and concretely addressing the gaps in customer service that I had initially experienced.

    The positive reviews here are not genuine and must be fake. Rocket Mortgage transferred my loan to CLS, and this is truly unfortunate. To begin with, my mortgage balance is still incorrect after multiple calls where I had to wait 20 minutes just to talk to representatives who couldn’t help me in any way. All they were able to do is to suggest I write emails to customer service. Fair enough, but after a whole week of three separate written requests, there’s still zero follow up from CLS. They are only available Monday through Friday with limited east coast hours as well. Further, their website and app are third rate with tons of bugs and deficiencies. Wish I could give them zero stars for all the time they’ve wasted. I sincerely hope no one has to ever deal with this incompetent business.

    I have been going through some tough times with this pandemic. I was in danger of losing my home. I called Community Loan Servicing to see how much time I had before the foreclosure process was going to begin. The first thing the representative said to me is 'we are going to do everything possible to prevent that from happening'. She went over my account with me and came up with a way to not only help me stay in my home but also gave me some time to get the account current. So, I talked to them that when I get my check, I call right away from my mortgage, and pay it. They are good people to work with. I was impressed with one or two reps in the years I've been with Community. They were very helpful. Not all of them are like that. I guess it's because of my accent and they get frustrated. So, that's the only thing and I tell them I would call later to speak to another agent. I'm lucky to get a good agent and I tell them what was going on. And they would be, "I'm so sorry to hear that."

The rep said that that request normally takes two days and then, what they did to me, it looked like a cell phone picture of a piece of paper that somebody had wrote out. So far, I'm not happy.     The transition was smooth when my loan was sold to Community and every time I call in, everyone has been helpful. The only thing was last month, I called in to pay my monthly mortgage and the automated system would not allow me to get to a representative. It gave the option to pay but it kept just sending me back to the beginning of the whole message. The automated system needs to be checked, taken a look at, and tweaked a little bit. But other than that, once you get ahold of someone, everything is smooth. I'm happy with them.

    Community Loan's statement is not for customer service. It's complicated sometimes. Every week is a different plan. We were on the forbearance plan and I wasn't understanding my statement. It was telling me that I had this full amount to be paid. So I was kind of confused. I called two times and both times it was amazing. The reps were very knowledgeable and helpful.

    Terrible experience from beginning to end. My parents are on my loan and we all had issues with the loan portal. The process took about 9 or 10 months to complete. After closing, I was notified the closing had to be redone because they neglected to get signatures for one item. Inconvenient and unprofessional!

    Our loan started w/ Chase Bank, they sold the loan to Bayview Loan Servicing... We had to modify the loan in 2017. In late 2018 we were behind in payments, in Feb 2019 filed for Chapter 13. From Feb 2019 - May 2020 made our post-petition payments every month. My statements were going to our attorney's office in which there was no written request for this. We got one activity report, which had all my payments made, and notice that Bayview was posting all my post-petition payments were being applied to the pre-petition payments that was filed in the BK case.

    They never modified the advance escrow account. We received all our bank statements, the first 3 bank statements after the filing of BK case, there were 3 banks statements with the wrong amount due in the BK case. On the fourth statement they corrected the amount, but they never corrected the advance escrow account due, they still left the amount wrong. Their attorneys filed a Proof of claim for the BK case, and the amount on the bank statement and proof of claim match... They are charging amounts of court fees, attorney fees. I have written a Qualified Written Request letter, with copies of all the errors made on the loan, copies of post petition payments sent it certified and priority mail on May 19, 2021, they have yet to respond.

    Two months go by and filed a complaint on the Consumer Protection Unit with the State of California, and a month later I get a call from Community Loan Servicing that they have received my complaint from the Consumer Protection Unit, and has 30 days to answer back. In order for them to answer to your complaint, it needs to be online with the State Department!!! How sad is this!!!! I cannot modify the loan, because we do not know what we owe. The letter they sent of what our payoff is... Make me sick... We are now having to hire another attorney to file a civil case... There is no way you are going to foreclose on this HOUSE!

I get very good service still because they call me. The only thing is that my payment is due on the 16th, and I usually can't make it until the 30th to 31st, when the direct deposit comes in. I found out that if I phone it in and have them to draft, it comes out before the 15 days are up, and I don't have a late fee. But everything else is all right. I either call them or when they call me, if it's not a recorded line saying to call, I always go ahead then. Everything has been run very smoothly.

    They're good. The only problem I have is that, when I make the loan note and every time I send it in, I send extra money in towards the principal, but every time, it never goes to the principal. They make it so that my next note is not as much. I write on there. There's a line, "To add towards principal." But they just don't do it, so I have to call and change it. Now I have a girl that I call directly and if it happens, she takes care of it for me.

    Community Loan Servicing's website is kind of awful and very sloppy. I don't like the way it's designed. If the customer clicks on account summary, it should take them to an account summary page and not to the bottom of the page that the customer is on. Their phone system is long and cumbersome, too. I tried to register my loan so I can pay it online and it said it was not available and to call customer service. I paid my first payment over the phone on the automated system. Trying to get a human being through the phone takes too long. I lost patience and said I would call back later. I shouldn't have to spend 30 minutes trying to get ahold of a human being. Their phone system should be a little bit more streamlined.

    I talked to a rep and she was able to explain what went on and had all the information. The only issue, she couldn't really explain why PRMG gave us Bayview’s name. She had said that the switch was back in October and either somebody gave PRMG the wrong info or they had no luck. But everything was copacetic and it worked out fine. She was very pleasant to talk to and knew what was going on. I asked her one question and she put me on hold and found an answer to that. Then, she came back and had the answer.

    My monthly payment changed and Community Loan Servicing was unable to process it because it was sign up for one amount, and they wanted to pick up another amount on top of it. My bank does not allow that. So, I contacted them to pay the difference. In the beginning, the rep didn't understand what I was calling about, and she wanted for me in automatic payment. I said I already am. It took her five minutes, a whole conversation from beginning to end to fix the problem. I would like to have people that when something doesn't go right with the payment, they should give me a quick call, because I take care of my finances right away if somebody calls me. I get a thousand emails and it's very difficult for me to figure it out which email comes from who. I will have to read a thousand emails in order to figure it out that my bank sent me an email. It doesn't come with a bell saying, "This is important. This is important."

    Nothing wrong with calling people on the phone, especially nobody can come to their bank. A quick call, because it's a miscommunication by sending an email, or sending a letter saying I'm late for my payments. That's what they did. They sent me a letter saying "You're late for your payments." And I said, "How could I be late on one of my payments?" And I didn't realize that it was the change of the taxes. So, when the taxes increased, the amount increased. The difference was $180, which wasn't a lot. All they had to do was give a quick call and tell me, "Increased $180, do you want us to keep withdrawing the same amount or call your bank or whatever?" But to send a letter saying that I'm late for my payment, I had a hard time digesting that one. But they addressed the issue and fixed it.

    Every time I've called, I've had someone different. I spoked to one young man who asked if I wanted to only deal with him, and I said yes. And that was the first and last time that I ever spoke with him. I would like to deal with one person exclusively. Also, my mortgage payments are deducted directly from my checking account twice a month, and something happened where someone at Community Loan Servicing incorrectly input my account number. So, the payment was returned to my bank. And then, I got a call saying that my mortgage payment was past due.

    So I called them, and they said that it was an error on the part of my bank. The person from the bank who assisted me could see what I saw, and they didn’t return the payment, that it was some issue with the mortgage company. But long story short, it was their fault. I was annoyed that, one, they didn't accept blame, and two, I wound up having to pay extra. Instead of the $568 that I pay bi-weekly, I had to pay an additional $300 to get my loan current, which I felt like if I made arrangements, then those arrangements should have been honored. If a mistake has been made on the part of the mortgage company, they should take the blame and deal with it fairly. When that happened and the payment was in limbo, that caused me to be kicked out of the payment arrangements I had made to pay them bi-weekly. It was a bit of a hassle. It wasn't that much, it's just that they wouldn't admit fault and I have a problem with that.

However, when Bayview took our loan from Chase, they were terrible. They called in order to foreclose on the house. We filed bankruptcy 10 years ago and we had an arrangement with Chase to get an extension on our payments, which Bayview never agreed on.

    When Chase sold our paperwork, we got lost in the process. All of a sudden, here comes Bayview, “Nope, I need money right now or I’m gonna close loans on your lot.” We were scrambling trying to make payments. My love affair with Bayview, is nonexistent. They could care less if you were thrown out on the street or not. I get it, there are collections and I have a business that we were struggling big time. Now we're jammin' and that's a whole different story. Now that we're making money, everybody wants to give us money.

    My loan has been financed for over 24 years. For the first 14 years, the communication was excellent. I'd go in, pay a bill and customer service would cross it over to the main department. They were extremely friendly and they knew me as soon as I opened the door. They would tell me that if I needed something, they would be there.

    Our loan was sold to Communicaty Service and they weren't taking our mortgage payment anymore in Arno. There is an automatic deduction on the first of every month. When COVID was really bad, they sent me paperwork saying that they could assist so I called them about it. I just wanted to try to understand what it was all about. The girl I talked to was so rude and sarcastic. She said I was not entitled to the assistance as I was not in the right area.

    If someone would ask me if I would recommend Community Loan Servicing, I would not. Customer service is terrible. You try to call and find out anything like with my insurance or with the escrow. It's like they have to pick up the phone to meet a quota on how many phone calls they receive or answer during the day. If they don't have good customer service, they don't have anything.

    I would love for Community Loan Servicing to call me and say, “We see that you've been a loyal customer. We could possibly lower your interest rate.” But they do not reach out. I had to call a month or two ago because I was $230 short on my payment. I said, “As soon as the stimulus check comes in, I will pay the balance.” The day before I got the stimulus check, I got a phone call telling me I was late on my payment. Don't they put anything in a computer? Maybe they need to go back to paper and pen.

    Community Loan Servicing's rates are fine but I'm not happy with their computer system. If you're paying for May and you happened to make that payment in April, they make that payment automatically as a principal payment. When May comes, they say you haven't paid any of your May mortgages. When you try to ask them to transfer the payment to May, it's a hassle. You have to make several phone calls. Each representative you talk to has a different solution or explanation as to what's happening or what will happen. I find myself having to make phone calls almost every day until the issue is resolved or until I see the money gets moved. It takes such a long time.

    They change the monthly payments every time they adjust the escrow amount. This means that if you're doing bill pay from your own bank and the escrow changes, then your bill pay ends up short of the new payment they are asking for. If something happens again where the money that you paid is not equal to the loan amount, they hold it suspended or sometimes they put it into the principal. You would have to call to have them reverse that. And you would have to call again because they don't do reversals in real time. They reverse and put it in holding then the system tries to do something one or two days later. You have to call to find out if the system did what it was supposed to do. Sometimes it doesn't and someone has to do something. You have to call again the following day. To handle such an issue, it takes about four or five phone calls.

    Community Loan Servicing took over the loan services that I was with. I only owe 100,000 on the house and I’ve been trying to keep it up because it’s almost paid for. They paid the property taxes and the insurance when they didn't really have to 'cause I usually pay that. I wasn't escrowed, but they escrowed me in upping my payments without me even knowing about it, from 751.83 to 921.04. They told me that as soon as I sent the declaration page from USAA saying that I had insurance, that they would look into it. I called USAA and the lady didn’t even know what was going on. She kept going back and forth and finding out. She sent the declaration page. But they haven’t done anything because this monthly payment is still coming out.

    I’m not comfortable working with them ‘cause I don’t really know who they are. I'm just concerned about how someone can just go into my banking account and do whatever without me knowing about it. With this COVID going around, I had a little small stroke, and I’ve been trying to get myself back together again and all of this is just falling in. I’m going to try to sell a property or do something ‘cause I’m about to think I have to move out of it anyway.

She took time with me to find out what the problem was and I did what she said. She helped me greatly. But now, I received an envelope from Community a few days ago, and it’s got past due. I've never been past due because my payments come on automatically from the bank. I'd like to see my figures right. Other than that, my experience has been great.

    I have never been treated so poorly by a company in my 43 years of life. As someone who manages a very large division in a customer service industry, I cannot imagine any of my staff treating a customer the way I have been treated. The level of incompetence is ridiculous. I have had to send an insurance check for almost $40000 three times to the same department and no one can seem to figure out how to correctly stamp it for endorsement. The wrong stamp has been used two times. It’s been sent back to me via regular mail despite me paying for a UPS label. I received it after waiting 12 days only to have it stamped incorrectly. I returned it via UPS overnight mail only to have it sent back with the wrong stamp again!!!! I am never permitted to speak to a supervisor.

    I was told Jennifer ** was a supervisor but when I asked her she said she wasn’t and I couldn’t speak to one directly. I sent the check in for her third time via UPS and asked if I could please have it go directly to a supervisor to be handled correctly. Ms. ** told me no. The check is now lost!!!! Notes say it was sent back to me via UPS but there is no tracking number and it’s been over 5 days!!!

    I explained to everyone I’ve spoken with in that department that three trees fell on my home on Christmas Eve. I have a huge hole in the back of my home that needs to be fixed but requires this insurance check. I have spoken to Ms. ** numerous times and she is completely apathetic and unhelpful. The staff in this department are completely incompetent. I was also told that it is not required to send a check via UPS unless it is over $50k!!! And that this is as per management directive. Apparently, anything under $50k isn’t worth tracking!! This company has a new President who clearly needs to review policies and practices, although he worked for Bayview which was just as bad as CLS. I have been waiting almost two months for this check to be handled properly by CLS and still have a huge hole in the back of my home.

    I had some information that needed to be corrected from Bayview. Once it became Community Loan Servicing, I sent an email and then, they corrected it within a short period of time. So, that was a good experience. I didn't have to make a second request for that transaction. I had also asked for my loan payout. When I had questions about it, I talked to a rep and they were very helpful. They gave me some tips as far as how I could get that information faster. So that was a good experience with the customer service rep.

    In general, the app from Community Loan Servicing is a good app. I use it a lot for all of my bills so I'm familiar with how they work. It has an FAQ section which I like. That was helpful but it could be a little more intuitive as far as the average user. The app could also be a little more user-friendly as far as how you find your documents or how to do certain things.

    When I got the loan originally, I was with a different company. I've been late on payments and I've never been able to catch up. I just talked to someone about it. I was asking what the principal balance was and why was this so high and this person helped me. They got the balance at a 70 something thousand and it was more than what I even started with. That's ridiculous. This has been going on for a while and I just let it go. But I was hoping to get some of the interest off of it and bringing it down.

    Our bank had to be liquidated and Community Loan Servicing purchased our loan. Horrible would be a compliment for their reps. The process started off with them needing copies of the proof of insurance on the home. We faxed it for I don't know how many months and they told us the wrong fax number and that they weren't getting it. They charged us some obscene rate of $6,000 a year for insurance. When the PMI got down from the original valuation of the home, they said the home had devalued that time at 2008. Then, they continued with the PMI for how many years. When the valuations did go up, we got another run around saying, "Well, we take it over the average of three years." So, it was always contradicting into their favor, and it's not customer-friendly.

    I would rather burn my house down than have them with loans. The company is absolutely a joke because they are not a loan institution. They say it when you call that they are a debt collection agency. I would never do business with them again. If I had to deal with them, I would work as many jobs as I could to pay them off as fast as possible. Run as fast as you can, and then pay The Flash to get you there faster. They charged us fees. I paid extra fees and I've been disputing with them for years and they would not take them off and I just paid the fees to get the hell away. It was like $1,500 in fees that they said that we accumulated, that they couldn't prove, but they said it did.

    I was with Bayview. And when my husband lost his job last year, Bayview and I talked. We couldn’t pay the whole loan. They said it was fine. I paid all of the interest and as much as possible of the principal and we didn't have any problems. And then, my husband went back to work after six months. But they switched me to Community. Everyone understood me when we talked. However, I'm having a hard time with some of the people that I speak to. They do not understand what I'm saying. I cannot call and talk to anyone. They call me and that's when I get to talk to them. I find it hard for me to get to them. I know part of it is because of COVID. But I'm not changing. I'm not refinancing for any reason other than my interest rate is 8.8 with them, and I'm going to get it to 3.25. And that's a big reason to change.

    Community Loan Servicing was very polite. The only problem I had is that they call so often over the same thing. The house is due the 28th. We’re going to pay it off by the 28th. But let’s say it’s due the 27th and I would call and say, “Okay, I'm going to pay it on the 22nd ‘cause that’s the day my husband gets paid.” I would pay it on the 19th or the 20th. A week and a half later, Community would call me again for the next month’s payment. Even though I've paid the amount plus an extra 300. And then, the next month I would pay the house out, plus an extra $300 to catch up what we were behind. However, they call me every 7 to 10 days. But we are about caught up with everything and I'm about to refinance my house.

For some strange reason, Bayview was recognized to work through automatic bill pay with my bank. But when I changed this over to Community, nothing works. I have talked to my bank about it and they told me it's Community's problem. I have talked to Community and they told me it's my bank problem. I've had this issue with Community going on since they changed over. So, me making a payment with them is a real pain in the butt. They told me I could go sign up with their website, do a bunch of login stuff. But I wanna go to my bank, load up on their information, and then make the payments. I have two different loans with them, which means I can’t have just one login. I have to have two logins. I don’t want two logins. I'd like to square away their electronic loan processing.

    In November 2020, I thought it would be simple enough to do a refinance with BLS. I was so wrong in thinking that. Their processor sent me a list of questions asking for documents on 11/20/20. Within 48 hours I sent back everything. After that their title department asked me the same documents on 5 different occasions. After escalating that issue, they "suddenly" found what the problem was and found the documents. Today 1/26/21, the original processor is no longer with the company and what a surprise, they are asking the same documents again! Now they are also saying that if they need to extend my rate lock that expires 3/2/21, they will do it at no cost on my part. Seriously! You are going to take another 30 days and BLS has the audacity to say that they could extend at no cost to me. Now I need to find who is in charge so I can send them an email. No one cares at BLS.

    Our experience with them has been good. But they should have told me they were changing their name. I had read a whole bunch of derogatory comments about them. So I was really apprehensive about going from Chase to them for handling my mortgage. They should also shorten the waiting time. They said, "Because of COVID we have longer than usual waiting time." But they're still getting the same amount of money. They should just hire more employees. But they've been really fair and they've been quite reasonable.

    Community Loan Servicing has been pretty good. I needed some documents requested. I was refinancing my mortgage and I worked that with Bayview. I first got a modification. They sent it to my attorney. Then, my attorney didn't forward the paperwork signed. So I had to do a payback program. On the payback program, the printouts from them showed that it was late even though that was what we agreed to. So it shows the payment due date as previous. And the way that Community Loan Servicing applied it was a little different, although it was what we agreed to. They asked me if I paid my mortgage payments all on time in the last 24 months and told them yes. It was a carryover right before I filed bankruptcy. So it was a little screwy. But that was the only quirk with them. Bayview wasn't the highest-rated one in history but I had no issue with them.

    It has become very confusing because now, Bayview is called Community. I just went through all my mail this weekend. I have statements from Bayview and statements from Community. The last time I called, they said that everything will be the same. I had the W-9 forms to fax. It was confusing. That wasn’t told to me that would happen before I’ve had to fill that out.

    Other than that, they helped me. I was able to move my automatic pay. I was able to move it to the 26th. And even though I get the letters that I'm late, I had no penalty because it was already arranged. But it was not Community I'm dealing with. I had a friend deal with something similar and sometimes they end up paying one person online even though the phone number merges. It gets scarier because I had a friend's house taken away. So, I got a little paranoid a little bit.

    We went to refi our home in July 2020, we were excited to have a great savings with the drop in interest rate. So we had a closing date of October, but I must say the lack of communication with this company that use to be Bayview Loan Service. Is lack of, they have no communication unless you ask. And when you ask you will get an answer at the minimum a week later. Their underwriting department does not have clue what they are doing, or the employee are just incompetent. Probably both! Now we have missed our first lock in date of Oct. and working on Dec. I have lost thousands of dollars in savings over this 4 month period that is not over yet. I will be refinance my home in spring time to get away from them and not giving them the pleasure of having my money for 30 years...

    I took my mortgage out with City Finance and then Bayview bought them out. Then all of a sudden, my billing comes in showing that it's a different company. I got a letter and a card saying they were changing their name. So, I didn’t know until I called to find out. I knew my payment was going to somebody because they do automatic withdraw and I talked to Sean. He helped me through the whole thing and told me all that. But they should have sent me a letter saying that they were changing it over. I explained to Sean what my problem was about and he walked me through it. He said that they didn’t sell out to another company and has decided to change the name, and would keep withdrawing my payment out of my checking account each month.

    There were times that I just barely got my payments in because of the mail and so Community Loan Servicing asked if I would do an automatic withdraw. I said yes and the lady I talked to asked when I wanted the payment withdrawn out. I said that we should do it the 19th of each month. My payment comes out of my Social Security check so whenever it gets in the bank, then I'll automatically withdraw my $611 for my payment. I get paid on the second Wednesday of each month from Social Security and so, that money is in the bank usually either on the 11th or the 14th of each month. It depends what second Wednesday falls. So if my payment is due on the 18th, I still have four days with the money being in the bank before they even withdraw it. But ever since I've done that, they would send me a late notice saying that I'm almost two months behind.

    I've kept every one of the invoices because I don't want them coming back and saying I was late on my payment, which I had way before. They could have pulled it out on the 18th but they do it either on the 19th or 20th of each month. But my payment is due on the 18th. So, it always shows that I'm late. But then as soon as that the 18th comes and they think I'm past due, then the other invoice comes through and it shows everything I paid the month before. I talked to a lady once and asked her. She said that they could go through it. But I didn't mind it going through just like it is now because they've never charged me late fees.

    In the past, I’ve had some problems with Community Loan Servicing but they’ve always fixed it. They've always explained to me. I thought my home insurance company was supposed to send their copy to my mortgage company to say I got home insurance. Community Loan just sent me a letter saying that if I don't have home insurance, they'll take it out for me. Evidently, the insurance company is not responsible to send everything to my mortgage company even though they know I have a mortgage.

    Now, when I get my yearly deal for home insurance saying that it's going from one year to the next, I always make a copy of my policy and send it to them. That way, I know somebody's got some paperwork showing that I do have home insurance because I don't want them to ever take it out. Other than that, everything I've dealt with the company before Bayview and now has always been good. It's just that I'm always finding things that could go wrong that I don't want to go wrong.

    When first contacted by Lakeview Loan Servicing to refinance I was thrilled. The original numbers were great and I found the Originator to be upfront, easy to work with and trustworthy. The process was then passed on to Bayview Loan Servicing LLC, (Now Community Loan Servicing), much to my amazement, the next four months would be spent trying to get replies to questions (emails & calls), multiple people to deal with, hang ups, conflicting answers/numbers, unexplained changes of information, incorrect closing disclosures, numbers that appeared to be generated by a lotto machine, sarcasm, closings that no one showed or called to cancel and what appeared to be complete chaos, (I was repeatedly told, all due to the pandemic and their inability to communicate or complete projects).

    Process began mid June 2020, was told could be one to two months, standard was two months due to the crush of refinancing at that time. Handed off to Daniel ** who, other than a couple emails, said, "No problem. We got this and won't be an issue, should receive docs in around three days." Three days came and went, gave grace due to weekend, six business days, ten days, called Daniel and he was on vacation for a week, no notice, no email notification, just vm and that not even with an alternate contact. Ok, finally after calling and being put on infinity hold, called on another cell phone and reached a non rude human. After another week an a half, we're setting up closing, made sure disclosure was correct, and poof, no one calls or shows up at the appointed time. A flurry of emails and calls later, opps, sorry forgot to schedule, Daniel is out again, no update, no nothing communicated.

    Spoke with Julie ** about the situation, promised to get back on track...next disclosure looks good. Signed, called and waited, oh wait, assumed I was tax exempt (my father who has passed was a 100% disabled vet, I am not), so they'll redo disclosures. Now the numbers that had changed on the last disclosures changed in a major way, requests to clarify bothered staff and responded with snarky replies....they said they were redoing the numbers....long story short, after a couple more modified disclosures, none of which seemed to have logic in the numbers other than the total loan amount, we sat down with the closing agent (very nice person) who told me that this closing had been scheduled seven times and finally happened.

    We discussed it was only scheduled once that we knew off....that day wasn't even one of those they'd had on the schedule....The numbers STILL did not match those I'd been given the day before....and rather than start the mortgage two months out, as was discussed with Julie and Robert, they start in one month....Good GOD, I still have a day, I'm so uneasy I still might cancel this cluster.... and yes, I maintained every email.

    My goodness I thought it was just me. We started our refi back in June and everything seemed to go great. Talked to James to start the process. Well it's Oct. and we had a closing date of Aug.17 and I have cancelled the refi. From June till Oct I was assigned 3 diff processors all asking for the same doc. It's true Bayviews communication is so below standard. No one knows what they are doing or how to do it and some of things I was asked to explain and do were distressing I started feeling like we were being discriminated against, but now when I read everyone is having the same experience sounds more like incompetence.

    Couldn't get any answers to why we weren't closing or getting communication until I voiced concerns about being systematically discriminated against. A week later I got a call from a manger that just happened to be ** 'I'm **' to deal with my concerns. I too feel like they never intended to refi us and that was ultimately what happened. Too disappointed.

The process for identifying a payment that has been made in order to go towards principal was a bit cumbersome so they can look into that. But overall, it was a positive experience.     Most major places have their own processes in place but it always strikes me as strange that if I ask Community Loan Servicing to send me something, they have to tell somebody, who tells someone, who emails it to me four days later, which is cumbersome. Most major financial institutions do that though. I'm trying to refinance right now and had reached out to Community Loan Servicing five different times over six weeks for a payoff letter and I was never able to receive it. It's probably an industry thing right now with the rates so low and things being backed up.

    I run a segment of recruiting for the third largest bank in the United States and that segment is the contact center. I'm kind of hyper aware of contact center issues. I don't know if these folks work from home but several of the people I talked to, the connections were really bad. But they were great.     I haven't had any problems with Bayview at all. We’ve been through several changeovers and every time the company changes over to a different name, they send us information. I really like the company. Every time I call or every time I ask a question, they are always helpful. I've recently called and I was asking if I was to pay my loan off within the next 30 days, how much would it be. They got back with me but I really didn't understand what they were saying because the amount that they gave me was the same amount that’s owed. We’ve been paying on the principal balance on our account and they weren't able to give me a clear amount of how much my loan was gonna be. It cuts it off if I was to pay it off today. I don't have to pay all that extra odd money. I was wondering how much would it be without that extra interest rate or without the extra principal. But that's the only problem that I had. Overall, I've been satisfied.

    I came to this website to look at other reviews of Bayview Loan servicing and am not surprised with what I found. It looks like other people are unfortunately dealing with the same situation as me. I was contacted by my current mortgage lender (many times) with options for a "streamline refinance". I finally spoke to them and was really glad I did because it was going to lower my payments significantly.

    Here we are 85 DAYS later and my refinance is still not complete. There have been MANY times throughout the process where I haven't received a response through email. I was supposed to close 15 days ago. I cannot find a number for a manager to call because the loan processor I'm currently working with is vague at best if she returns my communication at all. I want to talk to someone who can actually help me. I get that a lot of people are refinancing right now so they are busy but it should not inhibit their ability to provide adequate customer service. I wish I would have refinanced elsewhere.

    I recently inherited my father's home and completed all the paperwork with a lawyer in addition to receiving the deed to the home listing me as the sole owner. Prior to this I sent in my father's death certificate they requested and all paperwork listing us as heirs. We did not need to go through probate as advised by our lawyer as the there was no will and death was intestate. I now have a deed of law and called to discuss my options with the home.

    Not only did Bayview say they have received no paperwork but they continue to refuse to speak with me about the account on a home that I now legally own. They claim to receive nothing, but now the invoices come to the estate rather than to my father as before. To say I am not pleased is an understatement. I have been looking forward to becoming a home owner rather inherited or not and I can tell you this company has rubbed me the wrong way. I am seeking a lawyer to possible file a lawsuit if they continue to refuse to speak with me regarding the account. And Janice was not nice! I know I was upset and ranting but speaking over me and cutting me off is not very good CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    I sent an email about a month ago for them to remove my homeowners insurance and they denied it. They said they could no longer remove my property taxes and homeowners insurance. But I never said property taxes and homeowners insurance. I said homeowners insurance only. So to me, they just run with stuff and don't read it. There's too many lines to go through. I called one person to try and recast my loan. But then, a lot of them didn’t even know what mortgage recasting is. I’m a little confused. I understand they just collect money, but they have to have ideas or know a little bit about each thing there is that somebody is asking them.

    They have too many departments. There should only be three departments. One person should handle escrow, who handles homeowners’ taxes. Then another department should handle the finances, where they make sure you’re making your payments on time. The management and the customer service should handle recast.

    Very bad experience in the refinancing process since June. We started the process because they contacted me and offered me a better interest that to date I have not had a response, I sent them the documents they asked me twice and supposedly the closing day was the 31st August, which never happened and worst of all, no one called or emailed me to let me know why we couldn't complete the process, I emailed Austin ** and Shannon ** and they never responded.     I make one payment to Bayview towards my mortgage and one towards my principal. But they wouldn’t apply it to my principal. They take it and put my payment in advance and that was not what I asked them to do. So, every time I pay it, I have to call them. That’s the biggest problem I have with them. They said something about filling all the paper and I never got any papers so they keep on doing it. They tell me it was done and when I call back, it was not. The interaction with the reps is fine and talking to them, they are very pleasant. The only thing is that they tell me that the problem is solved and taken care of and it's not.

    Bayview was selected by my mortgage processor for my refinance. My loan was scheduled to close on 3 August. Bayview scheduled a notary and everything seemed to fine. During the process, I was instructed by Bayview not to make my August payment because that amount was factored in to the payoff; furthermore, I was informed that my first payment on the new loan would be due on 1 Oct. On 28 August I received both a phone call and a letter from my current lender informing me my payment was late.

    I called my contacts at Bayview at 3 pm EST and received their voicemail. I sent emails immediately afterwards. I called my current lender and had to be transferred a few times before finding a customer service agent that actually researched the problem. My current lender received the payoff from Bayview on 18 Aug, but the payoff was due by 12 Aug. I was told by my current lender I have to make the payment or I will receive a negative mark credit.

    At 0700 on 31 August I began making calls and sending emails to my current lender and to my Bayview contacts. I am located in PST. At this point, I have not received any correspondence from Bayview. My current lender sent an email which solicited a response from Bayview. I received an email stating, “I will look in to this now”. I received no call or email after that. To ensure I would not receive a negative mark on my credit, I made the payment.

    Today, 1 Sept, I spoke to a rep at Bayview. She told me everything would be completed by today and I would receive notification in the mail. She further told me that my current lender would refund the amount of my payment and that Bayview would cover any overages. To date, so far, I am out an extra mortgage payment, a late fee, 4 hours of work, and whatever magic fee(s) I receive later. These amounts do not include the retainer I will have to pay my attorney to get this all resolved. This is not about the dollars I have spent so far; this is about customer service and a company failing to keep a customer informed.

    We have been working on a streamline refinance since May 26. This is something we have done in the past that has taken less than a month. 3 months later we are still waiting to close. Communication through phone and email is poor and we rarely get a reply either way. Our last contact was August 12 when we were told we should be closing in the next week or two. I sent an email last Thursday, August 27th asking for an update and still haven't heard back. Today, I sent an email to the manager, James **, and I'm waiting to hear back.

    I also spoke to someone on the phone that informed me that our hazard ins. coverage needed to change and that we have a new processor. NOBODY has reached out to us since Aug. 12. I asked for contact information for this new processor that we suddenly got after 3 months and was told they can only ask them to contact us. We have sent them everything they have asked for within 24 hrs. and there is no reason this simple streamline should be taking this long. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in their communication and just want to get my refi done!

    I called Bayview Loan Servicing to make payments and I liked the female rep that I got. She was so good and down-to-earth yet professional at the same time. I was impressed by her personality and how she handled things. She was efficient. But other than that, I had a terrible experience with a Bayview rep. There was a lazy person who ran my bill through and said that it had insufficient funds. My account can't have insufficient funds because I have checking protection and they can't overdraft my account. So, I knew that somehow, they punched in the wrong number.

    I tried to explain that and the rep always said I had to send proof. But on my end, it didn't even show that they tried to put it through because they didn't have the right numbers. So, there was no way for me to really prove it. So, I ended up having to pay a fee and that irritated me. But it was my own fault because I should've ran something off and I didn't because I was in too much of a hurry that time.

    We have been trying to refinance our house with Bayview since June. Our Loan Officer messed up on our original paperwork and was not responsive when we tried to contact him about it. Once they realized there were mistakes on the paperwork the following week, they had to rerun our credit which impacted my score again and brought our closing costs up. We were upset but decided to keep trying to work with them.

    Once we finally got our new documents to sign and start the process, our Loan Processor has disappeared. I have tried numerous times the past 2 weeks calling and emailing our Loan Processor because she did not send my partner any paperwork to fill out and I had questions about the documents she requested. We are at our wits end and will probably end up finding another company to refinance with. It is very disappointing dealing with all these mistakes on their end and then no customer service.

    I was paying my husband's estate's bill and went with Bayview Loan Servicing. Things got off to a rocky start with Bayview because they didn't want to talk to me. They kept insisting that they had to talk to my husband and I kept trying to explain to them that he was dead. So far, they always send me an email saying that they have gotten my payment. One time though, they called me saying that my bill was in arrears. I argued with the rep and when he went back through the records, he found out that I was right. The rep whom I worked with was very patient with me. He was very helpful and kept telling me to let him check. He kept going back all the way to the first payment I made and determined that I'm all paid up. This was because the last bill was paid four or five days late.

    Additionally, I was trying to pay my bill online and it wouldn't go through their website. It kept saying that there was no account for that bill. I called Bayview and their reps tried to fix my issue themselves. They told me to just call them and the reps would put the bill through for me. They've been very accommodating and I highly recommend them.

    Bayview has been excellent working with me. They get their money on time and they do automatic withdrawals. There was just one little episode with this gentleman I talked to. He said that my automatic withdrawal has been canceled and I had to make a payment so I did. Then, I asked him something else because I had changed insurance companies. He said I have to pay that and I told him he needs to let me talk to a supervisor.

    I got to another lady and she said I wouldn't make a payment. I told her the man just took a payment and she said she would have to cancel that. I had to get my banker on the phone and my banker had to talk to Bayview. Then, I had to go back up to the bank to sign papers to cancel it. It was a nightmare but we got it straightened out. Also, I asked the supervisor about my escrow and she said it was all taken care of and everything’s straight. She said whatever refund I got from the insurance company, I would keep that because my insurance went in half from what it was. I was at 1,500 and I went to 888.

    I recently got handed off to an Asset Manager and ever since then I can not reach a live person at Bayview, I'm always directed to my Asset Manager who on his voicemail says he will get back to me in 24 hours. Well I've emailed multiple times, called multiple times per day for almost a week now and I can't get a call back from him or reach a live person. Before then they were easy to work with and worked great, but since being handed off it's been impossible to reach anyone.

    My husband and I began our refinancing process on April 30th for a closing date by end of June. Here we are, July 28th, still not closed. Now we completely understand due to the COVID-19 environment it will take things a little bit of time to move and process, but 3 months and no closer to closing? In a nutshell, our file has been handed off to several officers without updates. I have continuously called and emailed to ensure items we have provided were proper. No responses or delayed responses (after a week).

    At one point, our file was with underwriting, and then it wasn't. Then the last time I reached out to a processor on July 16th (because usually they don't answer their phones and you're on hold, so it's easier to just get to the next available processor instead of your designated one), I was informed every time I call and speak to someone it resets their clock to not touch/review the file for 7 days. What kind of business is this? And we have yet to receive an email or a call since I called on July 16th.

    The last time they contacted us was July 13th, after I initially called and was on the phone with them. The processor sent an email while we were on the phone documenting they received the files I was following up on. Haven't received any communication since. Their mission starts with "Deliver the highest level of customer experience in the mortgage servicing industry..." I have yet to experience this "highest level of customer experience" other than one processor who tried to find out what was going on and who apologized immensely.

    Bayview indicated we didn't have flood hazard insurance when we really did. So, they changed our escrow in error. When I finally got the situation addressed and people looking at it, they realized they made the mistake and now they're trying to correct it, but I still ended up paying more than I should have in the last two monthly payments. We have been dealing with it since the beginning of June and the issue has remained very frustrating but the customer service agent did her very best to try to resolve it.

    This is the worst loan servicing company!!! Let me change that. The worst company I ever had to deal with. They mail checks from your escrow without invoices. I had to send them proof of insurance dozens of times. They claim they never got it. Then I started emailing COI's directly to my asset manager and people in the insurance dept and still I get bombarded with letters that I don't have insurance. They cut a check to my ins company and didn't send it for 6 weeks. The check is void after 45 days. They put force placed insurance on your account at 3 times the cost of the insurance because they aren't capable of simply mailing out a check. What a bunch of idiots. STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE!!! By the time you straighten out all of the errors they make it's a year later and you have to start the process all over again. Unbelievable how incompetent a company can be.

    I am disappointed that our sub prime loan has once again been sold to sub prime loan servicer. Bayview Loan Servicing refuses to eliminate our PMI, despite the fact we have met the necessary criteria to execute said elimination by law. PMI is to be reduced when 80% of the homes original value has been paid down. By Bayview's own admittance, we have satisfied that criteria at 104%. Therefore Bayview is REQUIRED to eliminate the PMI, however, due to the nature of this predatory, and discriminate loan, Bayview refuses to eliminate the PMI. I state this loan is predatory and discriminate because it is. The mortgage was written back in 2006 and the interest rate exceeded the interest rate cap required by law. The mortgage was also "redlined" as we are **, and were egregiously offered an Adjustable Rate Mortgage at an interest rate of 15.6%.

    Our excitement at finally joining the ranks of home ownership, as well as our naivete exacerbated the situation and placed us in a position where we educated ourselves about the mortgage process. We quickly refinanced the loan to a Fixed Rate mortgage, however the interest rate only went to 12%. We were overpaying our mortgage unbeknownst to us until we went into foreclosure and had to quickly request a loan modification which was granted but at a MUCH lower interest rate and a mortgage that was quarter of what we had paid the first three years of the loan. We are tired of receiving "sub-prime" service, and being offered "sympathies" instead of results. Bayview is required to eliminate the PMI once we have met the financial criteria, and refuse to because of a late payment in 2018. That payment was late, however, that does not usurp the law which states the PMI is to be eliminated once the percentage point criteria has been met.

    If Bayview is doing this to us, who continuously research and keep ourselves informed of lending practices, imagine how many others who are less informed and savvy are being taken advantage of by these predatory practices. This matter has been taken to the Attorney General (s) in Florida and Delaware, as well as the Federal Reserve. We are not above filing a complaint with the NAACP for discrimination. It is important to arm yourselves with knowledge and do research regarding your finances as well as your lenders and loan servicers. Bayview is a subprime servicer, who actively engages in unprofessional as well as egregious practices. I would rate them ZERO stars if it were an option.

    I spoke to a young man at Bayview Loan Servicing and he was very helpful and polite. I have an automatic payment taken out with a bank and lately, I've been trying to make an extra payment on the phone and to get that payment to all go towards the principal. When I got my last statement, the payment was supposed to be due on either the 31st and the policy would be at the end of the month. The bank always sends me a past due notice which fries me. That time, I had paid the extra payment a day earlier and the bank took that as my primary payment. My actual payment got put on my next statement.

    The young man from Bayview pulled up my account and explained what happened. He said that when Bayview bought my account, that was how it always was. He told me that if they needed to move my payment up a week, they can. Despite the issue, Bayview's rep was very polite and helpful. I've been pleased with their company thus far and if I had to recommend them to someone, I would.

We were set back with virus to sell and finally On board with a settlement scheduled for July 10. 3 calls and amazing not one representative would go the extra yard to help us to obtain loan id information, payoff or even offer to follow up and get back to us. Now it’s up to us to call everyday. Their lack of assistance, professionalism and compassion is very disturbing for a mortgage company. The best was transferred to a girl named Christian who supposedly was an advocate and she offered no assistance as well. Amazing she didn’t even know who her director was and refused to escalate my call to her supervisor. Think twice about this lending company.

    We had a loan through a smaller bank in Grand Junction and I'd always get small loans through them. The loans got switched and then they got switched to Bayview. Their reps have been wonderful. I had one problem one time when I had to recall a payment. I accidentally made a double payment, and I didn't have money for the double payment. So, I called them up and I put a stop payment on the one thing. Then I was behind a month for a long time and I was finally able to catch it up.

    Working with Bayview was really good. They're very good with me and they were very understanding. Somebody always talks to me. I can get through to them and we get things taken care of. They're wonderful. Bayview saved my life. We're older and I had cancer and been through a lot of medical things. So, we had to have a loan to pay some bills.

    I am overwhelmingly pleased with the efficiency and effectiveness that Bayview (specifically SVP Customer Advocate Ms. Cheryl **) has handled my issue. Ms. Cheryl reached out to me personally to "listen" to my concerns. All too often, companies handle their customer's issues by reading off some generic script and then sending them a generic letter that isn't personal. Not Bayview. Ms. Cheryl got a complete description of my concerns and she took the time to research and investigate. After just one day she was able to resolve my issue and immediately electronically issued a letter confirming it. I am extremely grateful for Ms. Cheryl's help in resolving this matter as quickly as she did and I will continue to see Bayview as a company that wants for their customer's to thrive and not deprive.

    This company has provided me with false and misleading information that has harmed me financially and they will not do the right thing to take accountability. A few years ago Bayview's online payment system would not allow customers to verify the checking acct info and as a result I've had returned payments. During a phone call that I recorded, I spoke with a rep who set me up on automatic payments for the 20th of the month although my payment was due on the 1st. Concerned that I will be reported late and receive late fees, the rep assured me that the type of modified loan I have prohibits late fees and reporting. Believing this information, I never purposefully made a late payment, but when social security mistakenly stopped my benefits I did make one late payment.

    I've recently discovered that Bayview has reported me as delinquent and when I attempted to get them to update it due to the false information that I received I was advised that they would not. This late payment is preventing me from refinancing in order to keep my home. I have taken accountability for not making the payment on time, however, I would've borrowed the money to make the payment on time had I known I would be reported. It was their false information that encouraged me to make the decision I did, and now I am reaping the consequences of their ineptness.

    Fortunately the AG has decided to help me because no company can engage in unfair and deceptive practices that causes harm to a consumer. Providing me with false and misleading information caused me to make a decision that has now affected me financially. Representing that my modified loan prohibited late fees and reporting and my interpretation of this representation was reasonable and this act alone, not withstanding the explanation for my late payment should have resulted in Bayview updating my credit bureau at least this one time.

    Bayview Loan Servicing has my mortgage. I called them when my wife passed away on April 2nd and then I would be the only one in the mortgage. It was difficult to do. They sent me a questionnaire to prove that my wife passed away and I didn't send anything back. They could improve on the whole way that they treat their customers. They automatically make you feel like you're wrong and you have to defend yourself. My wife also told me before that they weren't very friendly as well.

    The whole issue had to do with property taxes and I had paid them. My biggest thing was to provide them with the receipts and as far as the cancelled checks. I mailed copies to Texas and also to the Bayview office. The last one that I talked to said that everything was taken care of in terms of verification even though I didn’t have a receipt from the courthouse. Every time we went to the courthouse, the only people that were working were the police.

    The office in Texas had no phone number and so I could not call them. I felt that that was a very unfortunate thing because I could’ve explained quicker to them. I’ve been in contact with the Bayview and must’ve made 20 phone calls in the last three months to resolve all of this. I finally got an enlarged copy of receipts from the bank so the check’s showing payments for the total amount that was due on the property taxes. The person was very respectful and very sympathetic. He even praised me for providing copies that were enlarged. They had an excellent attitude and I feel like they really cared. Bayview has been very cooperative and sympathetic in terms of giving me time to take care of the problem. They have rules, probably why the office in Texas doesn’t have phones that are available to talk because of the past due amount. They have stuck with me.

    My husband's grandmother passed away 5 years ago. She left her house to my husband and his uncle. Citi sold to Bayview who sold to someone else but Bayview is still servicing and now, 4 years after probate they want documentation again. They send bills in the name of a person we don't know or her estate depending on the day. At least once a year for the last 4 years we have sent paperwork proving they can talk to us but they still say we are not on the loan.

    The letter sent last month, during quarantine is they need a copy of probated will. I got that and sent it along with any other paperwork I could get my hands on but seriously? We owe less than $8000. They keep saying we don't have insurance no matter how many times it's been faxed or mailed to them.

    At this point I can't wait for this place to be paid off. Also if we fall behind they will send a letter that we can get homeowners counseling but of course they can't talk to us. We have 4 kids and the constant stream of letters saying they will foreclose on the house for XYZ is making me stressed out to the point I cringe when I see their logo on an envelope.

    Will not provide information requested. Bayview Loan Servicing makes their payment history spreadsheets close to impossible to understand. I called today requesting a letter to be emailed to me stating that I have never made a late payment. The customer service lady that I had on the phone said that they do NOT write any letters for any reason, and that the best she could do was give me a payment history that is already online. I explained to her again that I have that already, but a company that I am trying to get financing from can't understand their payment spreadsheet because Bayview will put your payments in a "suspension account" and apply it at a later date.

    Well to the company I am trying to secure financing from, it looks as though I had 4 late payments, when in fact, I have never made a late payment. They admitted that they do not understand the payment spreadsheet and the suspension account system and they would need a letter stating that I have made all of my payments on time. Bayview Customer Service is refusing to provide me with such letter.

    It has now been 4 days with NO ANSWER to our refinance. We were due to close on Monday 4/1 and within hours of our closing they cancelled! They said our home was in the forbearance program!!! I told them it is NOT in the program and you can see I have been making my FULL mortgage payments on time. They even pulled our payoff for the closing and it shows we are not in the program. My mortgage processor stated they saw that and totally understood and it was a mistake and would fix the issue. They asked me to call my bank to get a letter, which I did on 4/1. I called my bank, Flagstar to send a letter stating we were not in the program, which they did. Still no word. Nothing. Called and emailed several times with NO RESPONSE. POOR MANAGEMENT!!

    It took a while to get Bayview to understand what I was trying to ask. One of the paperwork that kept coming to me was a two-month payment. I was doing bankruptcy and was six months behind, but I’m caught up. When the bankruptcy got done, my attorney didn’t send me any paperwork for Bayview and I had not received anything. I called about three times and nobody would take my money. People said that they didn't take money there. They kept saying that they buy and sell. I didn’t know who I should talk to for them to take my money. I waited and I tried again in January and finally found somebody to talk to. I paid six months on the spot and it has been great since then. Now I have an account number that they could pull up on their computer.     I've had this loan for quite a while. It started out at Citibank and then it went to GMAC then it went to something else and now it's Bayview. I signed up right away onto the automatic payment plan thing so I never have to worry about it. I check my phone when the payment is supposed to come out. The thing about that is it doesn't come out on the same day every time. I got it rigged up such that it's supposed to come out every two weeks. Sometimes, it comes out on Saturday and sometimes, it doesn't come out until Monday. I just keep checking it and checking it. I make sure that the money is still in there until it finally does come out.

    With companies before Bayview, it always came out on Saturday morning. But Bayview doesn't take it out until the next Monday. So when I get paid on the 22nd, the payment isn't gonna come out until the 25th. Well, they'll not come out until the 26th now because the 25th is a holiday. So that's a bit annoying. I didn't know that for a few months so it held up some bills that I tried to pay. If it would come out on that Friday, it would be a lot easier for me but it is what it is. Also, before Bayview, there was a thing that went to my account that said pending and it took the money even though it didn't post. But since the company changed over to Bayview, it hasn't done that.

    This is a loan that I've always been able to not really worry about. Overall, Bayview does what I need them to do. I just wish that that payment thing had not changed for me. But the people I talk to has always been nice. I had to call one time because somebody called and said that my card was gonna expire so I had to do something so that it could keep going. I was happy with the customer service from the person I spoke with. Bayview also sent me a letter asking me to sign up on the website to see how much I still owe and I had to sign up on that. That makes sense to me and it's pretty easy. I think this is also why I didn't get my form for my taxes. I called them and they told me to log on and then I can print it off myself instead of waiting in the mail. So I appreciated that that day.

    I have tried to get info about this loan. My mother passed away a few years back and I was paying good on this loan until I lost my job. I've had issues ever since. The 1st lady I talked to was very rude to me. The 2nd lady was ok. I was told I needed to send in paperwork to prove that I can get info about this loan. I sent it to Chase and now to Bayview twice. I haven't called since because I don't want to encounter anyone else that's rude. I seriously just needed assistance. I was denied a modification because I wasn't on the account. I'm stuck now, not sure what to do. I've been slapped with all sorts of fees, etc. They wont even let me update my phone number.

    Bayview’s been nice to me and they haven't done anything mean or anything where I really was in trouble. When I was in the hospital, I spoke to them because I had emergency surgery. It was great because they understood. They’ve been very decent when I’ve talked to them. I wish I could pay off my mortgage because my real estate taxes in my apartment in Manhattan is $30,000 a year. I am overwhelmed. I work in real estate, but nobody’s looking at real estate right now.     My loan was orginally with Mr Cooper. I was approved for a trial modification and then it was sold to Bayview. I completed the trial modification period. They sent me papers for a new modification to be notarized. I called them, they told me they were the wrong papers and to wait and they would correct. They sent the exact same papers. I called again. They said they were the right papers (they are not). I told them I could not get anything notarized due to shelter at home. He said that they would post them on my account so I could e-sign and he would call me back in 2 days. I have yet to receive the papers and never got a call back.

    My rep is Elizandra **. I have emailed her 3 different times with no response. I clicked on their Covid forbearance link just curious as to what it was, and now I am automatically in forbearance. I do not want forbearance and emailed "MY account rep" to tell her that multiple times. All I want is just my new monthly payment so I can continue to pay. Now it shows I owe $10K all of a sudden. No communication, no call backs, no email. NOTHING. I dont understand why they cannot tell me my new permanent payment. I have emails to show, multiple calls made, etc. Would not recommend. It has been a nightmare since Day 1.

    I asked about the programs that Bayview has to help the owners in this COVID-19 pandemic and they explained it all to me. I received a letter from Bayview two days ago and they told me that I qualified for the three-month deferment plan. When I called the first time, they told me that if I get the plan for three months, it’s not gonna affect the modification that I did five years ago because this is not my fault. This is about the situation that we have and nobody was thinking about this when it happened. But another person told me when I called again that I’m gonna lose the modification that I have. So, I said no. That’s not gonna help me. Next year, $5,000 is gonna be deposited to my principal balance because I did my payments on time for six years. This is the agreement we have in the modification that I made so I told them that I don’t wanna lose that. I liked that Bayview explained it very well. They told me the truth and they were honest with me.

    Bayview bought my loan from Chase. Every year, I have a surplus in one of my escrows and they would send me a check and a tracking. The same people who sent me the check tells me my mortgage is going up because I’m not gonna have enough in my escrow. Last year, I got into an argument with the guy on the phone because he told me that that’s not what they do. They would assess it before the money is sent back to you. I said that they would assess it after and they send you a check. It makes me mad because Bayview charges you to put the money back in, which depends on how much it is. So, the last rep I spoke with waived the fee for me because I didn’t send it back.

    The rep was great, very courteous, knowledgeable and patient. She answered all my questions and she looked into a lot of information for me because Bayview is backwards. She was awesome and she helped me with everything.     I have investment properties that I refinanced through Guild and Guild sold the account to Bayview. I reached out to Bayview because I was trying to avail of the forbearance program, and they were very helpful. It was a very easy call. I just gave them my information and why I was trying to avail of that program. After a few easy questions, they approved my application. Everything was straightforward. I was happy with it.

    I have 3 properties with Bayview, and when you register an account with them, you have to individually register for each property. I have 3 different usernames and 3 different passwords. I have other properties. With just one log-in for the username, I will see all my account. There's a dropdown box that I can select and then go through it. But with Bayview, I have to log in in one, log out to go to the next, log out and go to the other. That's a real pain. I'm diligent enough to write down all my username and passwords, but you can't remember everything. So you have to go back to this notepad and see the username and the password. Some computers have the autosave username and password option, but still, it's a pain rather than just log in once and you will see everything all together at one go.

    I talked to someone at Bayview a few days ago. She was great. I talked to a gentleman too. He was good as well. They gave me all the information that they could give me or update me about the President giving them people with mortgages. They explained it all to me very thoroughly. I was asking questions about the property taxes because I have acreage. The property taxes have been added into my payment with Bayview now.

    They explained about the tax situation. I listen to the radio and I hear the President too, but he didn’t go into the details like they did. Both of them were excellent. Bayview is excellent too. I felt more comfortable. Even when I was struggling a little, they were very nice and tried to work with me and do modification. If I get another one, I’ll try and get my mortgage through Bayview. It is a really nice company. They are helping people during times like this.

    I like the automated service of Bayview Loan Servicing. If you pay by bank, they'll have that account number already in there so it doesn't take long to make a payment. So far, my experiences have been good. I remember one time when I called, I had gotten a letter and they said something like they didn't get the payment for the property tax and they didn't show a note. I called our bank and had our bank to fax over the information because we always pay by check. They said that they would give me a call and let me know that everything was okay and they did. So I didn't have to worry. At first, it made me nervous but it was all good.

    I’m very disappointed regarding what Bayview said that because of the virus forbearance, and if I take it, I have to pay it all back at the end of the 90 days. What good is that for me? I have been a very good client and my money comes out directly. And first of all, I didn't start with them. Somebody sold my account to them at that point. I never called and asked them for anything. I’ve already got a high interest rate when they sold it to Bayview.

    So, when I called, I was very hurt to hear about that. That first lady I talked with is an arrogant person at such a crucial time when people are calling for assistance. And that was even more hurtful to me because they’re looking at my account. I had it for a number of years. I don’t know who it was that sold it to them. If I had to follow through, with her tone of voice there would've been almost some argument. She was so arrogant in talking to you, talking down to you and stuff like that. It’s just when the whole world is in a crucial state, at least she could be kind.

    I had written a complaint regarding that. I haven't contacted, but I do plan. I’ve been working with so much other stuff during this time to contact my senator regarding this. If I don’t have it now, what makes them think I’m going to have all of it in 90 days? Then I wrote the letter right then and I looked up my senator. I called the very end of March. I got busy calling some of the other places. I had no problems with no one, except Bayview that told me that if I take this full payout, they’re going to give me a double jeopardy. Well, after 90 days, I have to pay everything back. And so, I want to go on and finish my other bills before they were due because I like to try to do that as much as possible and call everybody else. They’ll extend it, and we’ll put it at the end. No problems.

    And then when I called in March, that lady told me, “Your loan will start from March.” I said, “How can it start from March when March is just about over? I have three or four more days, so I would have lost the whole month.” That's how she handled herself, just unprofessional, as if it’s her own money, or this was she doing herself. And so, I called back. There was a young man who answered the phone and he was such a perfect professional. I explained my circumstances and he went on to explain to me how it was. The same question I asked the lady and said to her, he was just as helpful and explaining things in a helpful tone. He didn't come across arrogant or put-down. He was very understanding of the whole situation. Not just with Bayview, but the whole situation on why I had to do that.

    We talked and I said, “Well, I just don’t think that is.” That’s why he said, “Well, there are things that we might be able to work with, that’s there to begin. At the end, we don’t know.” But he said, “Things are changing every day on how we handle it. But you could get the 90-day and it’d be up.” I think he said the end of June. Now, that makes sense to me. April, May, June. Now, how are you going to take a whole month from me to come from March? It will start with March.

    And so, I talked with him for a while. And he said the same thing about the 90 days. And he said, “If you want to, just go ahead and get that. And within the 90 days, things may have changed because things are changing all along all the time.” That’s what he said, trying to give me some kind of hope and just being professional. I don’t care what you have to do to. Just be professional about it. I decided to go along with it, but I just don’t know. I won’t have somebody like that at the end of the 90 days. And then I said the same thing. What good is that for me? I wasn’t being indifferent with her. She got that way with me. And she said, “You can write a letter and complain.” I said, “Well, I’m gonna do just that.”

    I’m very hurt about it. It’s not so much hurt about the 90-day. I’m hurt about it as well, but for somebody that talks to me like that knowing what is going on in the world and knowing the federal government is doing. I’ve been with Bayview for years. Look at my payments. I've never missed a payment when it was due and I’ve never had to call them about anything. And the lady had my record. I mentioned to her that I don’t want that.

    The young man, Aaron, was so good. He was so nice. He saved the day with me with Bayview. He smothered it over real good with me and all, but I’m still dissatisfied at this point a whole lot. But I went on. He said, “Yes, if you already knew how to do it.” Because I do automatic draft, so I went on the stuff to automatic draft. And he said, “We’re not supposed to call back.” Oh my God. That’s something. I better call back.

    Right now, I’m still not feeling well about Bayview. They never had to contact me about anything. I pay my bill with them and it got me on the high interest rate now. And I have gone in the bank all the time and asked me, because I’ve had good credit, to work on getting it lower, but I didn't. But I don’t know about now, because if you can’t help a person, they got good credit and good payment record with you year after year, and you're going to talk to them any kind of way.

    I did go with the 90-day but it’s in my spirit to almost not do it because it’s just a double jeopardy on people’s job. Everywhere else I call, there was not a problem. They were like that guy, Aaron. They were so cordial and I had no problems. There’s one problem, that was Bank of America, and they were doing it month by month. And I didn't know that that man was with Bank of America. That’s a big bank. But nobody talked down to me, got arrogant with me and indignant to the point that I would want to write a letter.

    I entered into a Loan Modification Program with USBank that got sold to Bayview a month after. The first person I spoke to said they would honor this agreement. I made the third payment according to the agreement and was told it would take up to 30 days to receive the agreement. Gabrielle in Customer Service was very helpful and the only person to ever call me back (no manager ever has and two emails are unanswered yet). I called after the 30 days and could only get the Loan Modification Department. Was told another department had to look at it and would decide and it could take another 60 days!! This is adversely affecting my credit and ability to get other loans, plus I’m incurring more late fees as they have unapplied funds on my account. How is this legal for lenders?!

    I was behind on my loan and I tried to get a modification and after so many years of trying, I had to call a banking department and that's how I got the modification which I'm up-to-date. Before the banking department got involved, it was horrible. The people were unsympathizing. They kept prolonging it and either losing it, and they were really bad. I had to report them to the banking department because they were heartless. After I contacted the banking department, everything changed. I was able to speak to a person, who was assigned the case and was very professional in answering questions. I don't know if it was because of that or because he had all the knowledge that I needed for his assistance. After that incident, it's been good.

    I took years to win my insurance because of damages did to the hurricane. The funds already are in the bank. It's hard to get them to relinquish the money so they give back all my savings, that I have done to repair it, and I still have the roof to do. I did this since the month of November. I started sending them invoices and they always come up with an excuse and then they have to go and ask somebody else. And up to this day, I have not received one cent from money already awarded under my name in the bank, and I haven't seen anything. Their employees have to have feelings. I know sometimes feelings don't make money but in this case, there's a lot of situations that they could assist just in handing the information out and guiding the person.

    I called Bayview recently about the forbearance program. My loan is for a rental and both of the occupants lost their jobs. I spoke to a very nice customer service gal who told me I had 3 months (April, May, and June) and I could kinda pay as I wanted to but it’ll all be due July 1st or if I'm on the ACH plan, it could be even by the end of July. Then, I got a letter from Bayview a week later that said something different. It said I just have April and May so called them and spoke to a very nice woman. I told her I spoke to a woman who said 3 months and now, I have a letter that said 2 months. She said it started the day I called. That's bait and switch because I called a few days before April 1st to cancel the automatic payment and get set up on the forbearance. They counted March as the first month although I had already paid for March.

    It's a big corporate crap speak. They're gonna say one thing over the phone then you get a letter that says something else. Then you talk to someone who says, “Well, I’m sorry they said that, but it’s really this.” That’s very poor and that makes me think they're another big, crappy loan servicing company. What matters is not their customers.

    I have an account with Bayview and I was calling to see what the payoff was. Nadia and Ada were both very helpful. They answered in the best they could. The only thing with Nadia was she didn’t know that there was an expiration date that was supposed to be put on the payoff. Therefore, I didn’t get a payoff and I had to call back again. And the other woman, Ada, told me that they had to have an expiration date for the payoff. And I asked her to be emailed to me but I didn’t get it. Then I got the bill for April, so I just went ahead and got a cashier’s check and paid it off because I didn’t know what would happen if I didn’t hear back from them. They could use a bit more training on when somebody calls for a payoff. Because the fact that there was an expiration date, I never got one. So, when I called back, that was quite the problem was. I still haven’t got one. It doesn’t come in the mail or anything.

    I had my loan modified back in December. Bayview sent me a statement that my first payment would be due on February 1st. So, I paid that in January, so that February payment was paid then. And then I got a statement for March, and March it was paid in February. But I got an April statement and it showed me I’m behind a payment, but I’m not. It was modified in December, with all the money that we’re in with it, it got me to February the 1st.

    I paid February and March. Now it’s April. But before April 1st, I called them and I divided it in halves and did it every two weeks. So, at the end of the year, I’ve paid the whole extra payments. And that’s what they took out on February the 1st was the half of the payments, but they showed me with me behind the payment, but I’m not. My bank statements prove it, I’m not. So, I don’t know what to do with them. I can’t get ahold of them. It’s long hold-wait and then sometimes they just automatically, after 20 minutes on hold, cut me off.

    I don’t need this stress in the middle of the pandemic. That’s a nutcase in itself. And I just don’t need this, that I can prove by my bank that I am not behind after it was modified. It takes so much options and stuff to get through, to even speak to somebody way before then. And then, you have to be read this and you have to be told this and then you can talk about what you wanna talk about and that’s a long-drawn-out process. Just pick up the phone and answer me. That’s all I want.
