The process fell behind because the inspector that came out here got sick and was bedridden real bad with it. He was three weeks behind so we fell behind on our loan by three weeks, but it still all worked out. It all came out in the wash. Also, the appraiser knew what he was doing. I walked around with him and he explained everything. Then, he went ahead and gave the thumbs up on everything.

I’ve refinanced a couple of times and used ClearPath before. They kept in touch and put me on a good customer standing list. The girls that did the legwork got right back to me quickly and were very responsive. I'd use ClearPath again. I had a problem with them though. They couldn't get the title off the title company. We were supposed to close and it went on and on. It was supposed to take a month but it took two months longer than we had forecasted.

The people I work with ClearPath have always been top of their game, helpful and able to get things done. I'm impressed with them. We had some issues the first time on this last go around, which was why I got pushed to so much longer than it was supposed to. But that was taken care of and they were able to work through it.

I used ClearPath a couple of years ago. Victoria was one of the reps that worked with me this time but Jim and I met each other seven years ago when he did my first loan. I was a little skittish on what he was trying to do because I was in a fixed loan. He told me, "You need to try to look at this ARM loan." We talked about some options and he sent me some paperwork. I had a friend of mine that's an attorney take a look at it and he said, "You'd be a fool not to do this because they're gonna lower your interest rate down to 2.37% from 3.75%." The most important thing was ClearPath told me that they could only raise it a point at the most from what my actual existing interest rate was set at which was 2.37.
I was concerned with the way the housing market crashed a couple of years back in 2012 when they started doing all these ARM loans, and everybody's interest rate went up to 8%, 9%. Jim said, "We can't do that to you, not under this type of loan." Lucky for me, this area was covid hit on the year that my loan was due to mature out of that ARM factor. Instead of my interest rate going up, it went down for the following year. I went from 2.37 down to 2.1 for that sixth year. That's good as far as saving money, but it's bad when it comes time for the refinance because no mortgage company is gonna touch you. They'd say, "We can't touch you because you're too low already." I told them I was not concerned with interest rate. I know the interest rates are itching to crawl back up as soon as the pandemic's over and I don't want to be caught in a 5%, 6% interest rate.
I had talked to this other company and lost Jim's number. One day, Jim called me and we started talking. But the problem was I had a problem. I had gotten involved in a little carpentry accident and cut the tip of my thumb. I wound up going to the hospital about a year before this. What ended up happening was they sent me a medical bill within two weeks and told me I owed them $1,500. This went on for about six months and every time they had sent me a bill, it'd be lesser and lesser. The final bill I got a year and a half later was $118 I had to pay. I called TRICARE and they said they settled the rest of it.
I thought they had taken care of it but Jim said he couldn't do anything until it got clear. I had to wait for a couple of months for my credit score to get back up. I waited until after Christmas. During this time, Jim called me and I told him what was going on. He helped me get that cleared up and my credit score immediately went up 6, 7. We talked about what we wanted to do. The only thing I didn't like was when they did my payoffs. They sent me the checks in the mail through overnight express and I had to send them out. But ClearPath was great. They've done everything they said they were gonna do and it happened in the time they said it was gonna happen. They kept me well-informed. There were no surprises. It was perfect and I've never done business that perfect. It was smoother this time than it was the time before.

I love ClearPath and my rep, Omar. I've had him from the beginning. He was inaccessible for a short period of time but I was able to deal with his boss who was awesome. I got frustrated with the delay because you have to do this and that and wait, but that's not anything that Omar did. Every time I called, I got a response. They're awesome people. Everyone is so personable and they put the customer first. It was almost never could I call Omar and speak with him right away. I'd have to leave a message and have him call back. But even right then, in his message, he says, "If you have not heard back from me in 24 hours, please feel free to call my boss." Not many people do that.

Everything is time-consuming. Everybody needs certain papers. But the rep did his job very well. I liked his follow-up, easy access to him, and he would call back. When ClearPath told me what they needed, I submitted it online. Whatever they said would happen, happened. They did a great job.

I've worked with ClearPath a couple of times now and I've had no problems with them. Everything went smooth and the rep I worked with, Nick, is very good. The rep who did the closing was new and she was asking all kinds of questions and there were delays. Nick sent me a gift card because it took longer than it should. I would recommend him to anybody.

We refinanced last year and when we refinanced again this year, we went back. After researching all the other companies around here, we decided ClearPath was still the best. Although there were a couple of hiccups that were kind of annoying.

We talked a good two weeks before I made any decision and they seem to be pretty on the ball. All of the reps I spoke with were great and they impressed me. They answered all my paranoid questions and answered them within 24 hours at any time. Whenever I would send an email, they would return it within an hour or two. It's been really pleasant.

This is the fourth time I used ClearPath Lending. It seemed to work out the other times, so I just called them back. And they all use Freedom Mortgage. Everything went pretty much as planned. It was effortless. Because I've done it with them several times, they had a lot of my information already. So, that makes it easy versus starting over.

When I first started talking to ClearPath, I called Freedom Mortgage but they couldn't match what ClearPath gave me, even though the loan would go back to them. So, it was a good rate. It's higher than what I paid. But I rolled in dead, and now I have an affordable mortgage payment and I'm sure I'll be able to refinance at some point for a lower rate. It's my second close with ClearPath Lending. They send communications all the time. Probably too many communications. But as long as somebody communicates, I'm happy. Quinnie was the one that called me. Although, last time, I worked with a guy named Robert, and there was a guy that worked on Quinnie's team that was great. Very responsive. Had a good experience.

This is my second great experience with ClearPath Lending regarding Mortgage Re-Finance. Starting with the Agent who took and processed (my over-the-phone application), and all the way to the final Funding Department it was a stressless endeavor. The whole process took no time to be finalized. I was given options on rates and costs before I asked. This was the first time someone took the time to explain why rates and costs for loans vary. Although I had an idea how this works I needed to ask very little as ALL THE INFORMATION was put out upfront. Clear Path is an appropriate name as they made the decision very easy.

I talked to ClearPath Lending over a six-month period, and Nathan, the gentleman I worked with, was first class. He broke everything down and provided specific details. He was incredible and whoever is at the C suite level of ClearPath needs to know who he is because he's that good. I was very impressed. Also, the financial application was smooth, but the lien slowed things down.
The house was new and we had a couple of liens to build a fence and a pool installation. I also had solar panels, which were taken care of. All these things have county liens that I didn't know about and it would have been good if ClearPath would have initially asked a pre-qualifying question to say, "Hey, do you have any outstanding construction-related events, things that you're doing that could inhibit the ability to get your loan?" Or they could have said, "Hey, do you have any liens against your home?" I would inject that in the initial conversation to see if ClearPath can help get over that because other homeowners might run into the same issue.
Because we were putting a fence in, the county that I live in had a lien against my home and I couldn't go forward with the application process until that lien was lifted, i.e. the fence was paid. With my pool loan, I was at the end of my pool construction and I only had a bit left to pay. I expedited my need to pay off the pool a month early. If that didn't occur or if I was halfway through the process, I couldn't have refinanced, and I didn't know that. I would have been really upset that I would have gone through all this process and they're like, "Oh, you've got a lien because of your pool. Sorry, we can't do it unless you pay your pool off." Apart from that, I'd strongly encourage people to go through ClearPath.

I was impressed with ClearPath Lending seeming to be honest, which they were, and helping me out, saying things like, "If you need me, call me with no problem.” They were super people, they knew their jobs and everything worked out great. It was easy to the point where I could understand everything. Plus the process was good for the people that own the homes and refinancing. I had two loan officers and they were very educated and everything worked out fine. They were upfront and made me feel comfortable. They made sure they gave me all the information that I needed to know. So overall, it's an A. I appreciate everything that ClearPath did for me, and I would recommend them.

Having refinanced a mortgage seven or eight times I have to say that this was, by far, the easiest, hassle free refinance ever! There was much less paperwork than I have previously experienced. I got the rate advertised and we even closed a few days earlier than scheduled. Unfortunately, having obtained such a great interest rate, I’m sorry to say that I will probably not have the pleasure of working with ClearPath again.

ClearPath Lending took over everything. The rep gave me step-by-step on where we were at. And he followed up every time they completed a milestone. He would call me, “Hey, this just went through. We're just waiting on this now.” And he would say, “I'll keep you posted.” That was cool because I was made aware where we were at. And he let me know that it's not just another guy checking a box. He actually took care of my project. It was seamless. Also, the rates were low. I would use ClearPath again.

I preferred ClearPath over the other company I checked because of the way they broke things down and didn't really sugarcoat it. They told me what is available to me and how we can go about it. I worked with Travis and he's a straight shooter. Also, he was timely with getting us the document knowing that I pretty much had a busy schedule and he didn’t rush through everything. If anybody I know is gonna go through the same process as I was, I would have them work with Travis.

Updated from a 1 to a 3 because the company addressed the issue, but I was already closing on a new loan with a different vendor so that could not be "fixed". ClearPath quickly and decisively resolve my concern. As I noted in my original post, they are very well reviewed in several places, so I did not expect the issue I had. Based on ClearPath's response, I would try them again and RECOMMEND you try them also.

I got a mailer in December (actually every month last year) from ClearPath Lending with a promised 1.75% refinance rate (VA loan). I called, and talked to Ciara ** who sounded very professional and helpful. Between her approach and the number of good ratings online about ClearPath, I thought I'd be going with them for sure. But she never called back with the quote, nor responded to my email or voicemail trying to find out what was happening. My loan is super-easy--50% property equity, great credit score and income, VA IRRL program with no appraisal or inspections needed. I'll be closing on my refi with another company, Allegiance Home Lending, next week in under two weeks, that's how easy this was. I get more mailings from them than any other lender, but when it came time to deliver, they were no help at all. Make sure you are working with other lenders to have a backup plan.

I used ClearPath before and I enjoyed the experience I had. This time, they had certain fees that were waived for returning customers, and like last time, things went smoothly. They answered all my questions along the way, and it has worked out just the way I wanted to and about the timeframe I was looking at. The rate was higher than I wanted, but because it's a cash-out refinance, I understood that. It's also temporary ‘cause I'm going to do a VA streamline refinance towards the end of the year and lower the rate. For all the debt I had, it's good. It worked out very well.

I experienced all the perks of using ClearPath. They were prompt and they explained everything in detail. They went above and beyond to make me knowledgeable about the loan. Also, someone always kept in contact with me about how the loan was being processed. I knew every step that went towards getting it approved and everything was done in a timely manner. I have had a few loans, but with this one, everything was simple. If I had to use ClearPath again or refer them to anybody, I would because they did everything.

I wanted some info about the process and the guy I worked with was not pushy at all. I appreciated that. The guy was super nice and just told me my options. Once I decided, "Yeah, let's go forward," then we dug in a little more and it was the easiest process ever. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I got a decent interest rate when I first bought the house, but I have a VA loan and my credit was greater than I thought it was. I qualified for the 1.75 and that was very unheard of. It was something I couldn't pass up.

I had no problems during the application process. I talked to a gentleman and he didn't lie to me like some of the others. He told me straight up what it was gonna be like and I understood what he was talking about. He said about how long it would take and I went along with it because he was right. Also, he kept in touch with me and called me every two or three days telling me everything was okay.

The gentleman I worked with, Ben, was super knowledgeable and made everything work. He was the account executive that I initially spoke with. He was on top of all the things, knew the process, and immediately coached and educated us on it. He was up front on all of it. He also got us a better rate than I saw in some other areas. There was a 2.75, and he got us to 2.25, which was good. We make our first payment in February.
My friend connected me with somebody else, and he's got a better rate, but the most important thing was Ben had a better process and education of what was going on. He was a consummate account executive. He outlined a lot of what was gonna happen and how to put it together, and anytime we had a question, he was on it even late in the day. I liked working with him. Everybody I spoke with at ClearPath was helpful as well. If you called, you got directed to answers right away, whether it's emails or phone calls. Everything from end to end was really good, and it's straight up good business practice as well as great selling and information.

I was getting a bunch of letters in the mail to go over refinancing for my mortgage and ClearPath gave the best option among the offers. Their rep called me and we talked for two days. I gave him everything that he was going to need in order to resubmit a new offer. As soon as it got approved or he got a callback, he called me back. We were able to set it up and I didn't have to do anything. He called me once or twice a week to keep me updated on the status when it was submitted, approved, and then the old mortgage was paid off. Now we got this new one set up. It was extremely easy.

The rep I worked with stayed in constant contact. When there was a problem, he contacted me right away and let me know. We were able to text message and email back and forth. That's how we signed the documents. The online process was very easy and very smooth and they were responsive. Then, the fellow came from the title company right to the house here and we signed the papers.

The rep I worked with was very polite and was very quick doing everything. I've been through ClearPath's refinance a few times before and it was very satisfactory and everything went smooth. I've been shopping around and I didn't like any of the other companies that I was dealing with. The rep from ClearPath called me and it was the best deal I've had. ClearPath's application process is a lot simpler than some of the others. I was familiar with the paperwork. If we could get the lawyers out of the business, it would be okay. But ClearPath doesn't do that. Their customer service gave me everything I needed to know, except for a statement for the first month's payment. I get a little nervous when it gets past the 15th of the month. I wish they could get somebody to get me the statement here before it is due so that I could get the payment in the mail.

ClearPath Lending gave me the best rate they could this time around because this is my second time refinancing with them. Their rep had answered all my questions and he was very helpful. He told me I'd save some money and he explained how I'd save some money because the loan would have been a lot higher if it would have been a quarter percentage point higher. He broke it down to me and I made an educated decision of it. After this, I can pay my house off hopefully within the next few years.

ClearPath's rep has good communication and he got me through every step and told me what to do. I really enjoyed talking to him and he did a lot of following-up. He was good. The guy that I talked to was friendly. He helped me through everything and the interest rate looked good. Step-by-step, the rep was there and he let me know what's going on. He would say, "Hey, this is when the guy's gonna be here. This is when we expect them to close. This is when we're gonna close." There was no waiting. He was right on top of things the whole time. I spoke with Queenie, their rep. At the time when I did the refi, my boss was interested in refi-ing but he wanted to cash out and ClearPath wasn't doing it at the time. So, when Queenie called, I said, "I'd love to refi again, but you guys aren't doing cashout and that's what I want to do." She said, "Oh, no, we are now." So, that's why I said, "Great. Let's do it."
I added some income. Since we previously did a refi, they had all our information. I got everything done and emailed another rep, Kristin, a few times. Everything went great.

Everything was fine except we don't know where to send the payment. Other than that, the gentleman is great. He made the application process really easy. They bring all the paperwork for the loan. They should put it on a flash drive instead of giving you 10,000 pieces of paper. But getting approved was really fast. It took a couple of days. We were hoping for more with the rate, but I don't think anybody else would get any better.

The interest rate was better than what we were paying before. Working with the reps was painless and the application was as easy as it can get. My rep was really understanding. had a water pipe burst and had to stop everything and he helped us. The process with ClearPath took a long time and I spoke with Nathan, the representative who was helping us, but it wasn't his fault. He had great customer service and it was the same with the lending department. It was just we couldn't find an appraiser in the area. I almost gave up twice but we hung in there. We were patient and waited till it finally came through. Normally, it doesn't take that long. ClearPath has been more than helpful. It's just we were getting impatient towards the end because my son’s refinance took three weeks at the most and ours took four months. But overall, we're pleased with the service.

I've used ClearPath before, so that was why I used them again. My experience was quick and easy. I engaged them to refinance my house. I contacted them and let them know what I wanted to do. They sent me to the right people to talk to, and then I explained to them what I wanted to do. They explained to me what I needed to do, and I did those things. The loan officer, Ankur, was excellent. He's very friendly. If I had to have him call me at a certain time, he made sure that he was accessible all the time. So, that made it very easy. I just texted him and then he responded in kind in text. He’s free over weekends too. Working with ClearPath saved me money and it was easy to do.

The guy from ClearPath who helps me does a good job. I’ve used the same guy every time I’ve done a loan. He’s polite, thorough and always gets back to you. Every time that I've done the loan, I've kept his number in my phone and I call him directly. He has been absolutely great in every way. It seems like nowadays, with everything going on, there's not a lot of customer service but he's phenomenal. The gal who collected fees was excellent. I've done three loans within three years with ClearPath and they expedite it. They paid for my appraisal and I was able to get my PMI off this time so, that was good. It saved me a couple of hundred dollars a month.

Joe was our ClearPath lending officer. He was very knowledgeable. He gave us a better understanding of the loan and he was really kind. The application process was fast. He asked me to send a picture of the letter we got from them through phone. I asked him why and he said that they don't send those letters to everybody, so he needed a copy of it. It was a letter stating that we got this and that through the loan. If I had questions, I just call back and Joe answered. Our first payment is going to be due in December and they said we're going to get a letter and we still haven't gotten a letter. So, I called Joe and he said if I don't get it by the 20th, I should give him a call, and he'll see into it. So, that was good to know. Overall, ClearPath gave us a better rate. I am gonna save $100 a month at most. If people will ask me, I would tell them to give ClearPath a call.

Our loan experience with ClearPath Lending was very good. It was probably the quickest and easiest we've done. ClearPath's reps were pretty upfront and straightforward about the process. The only issue I had is that when we started the process, they said the closing date would be early September but it did not close until October. They told us to not pay our September house payment so we did not but our lender's collections department called us up and told us to make payment. We got ahold of ClearPath and they told us we better pay that off so we did. Other than that, people were honest and pleasant to talk to. I had no problem.

Since it was an IRRR Loan, the process didn't take a lot of paperwork that I had to run around and get. The individual I dealt with said it would take three weeks, and that's approximately what it took. I was satisfied with that. The only issue I have is that ClearPath offers these incredible rates, 1.75, which is what motivated me to refinance, then when you get into the minutiae of this, “The 1.75 is not available to you, sir, because you don't have an 800 credit score.” It’s a shame that they do that upfront. They should explain that to the customer right in the beginning, “If you have an 800 credit score, then we can give you this. We can offer you this type of loan.” They don't do that, and that's a little disingenuous. It’s not just ClearPath though. I would imagine this happens with other companies as well.
Once people make a call, they don't stop getting phone calls, emails, or junk mail. Rather than put people through all that, ClearPath should be upfront in their advertisement so that people know what they're getting into before they make a call. I was already looking to refi. My interest rate wasn't terrible (it was 5%), but because of the way the rates are now, it was worth the refi even though I didn't get the 1.75. Getting that 1.75 would have really helped out, and I don't know why they couldn't offer that rate with someone who has a credit score like mine. My credit score was 760 at the time and it’s way above the national average.

I had great access to the person who assisted us with the loan. I even had some questions since we completed the loan and I was able to get responses back right away. My taxes are my biggest worry because in the past, one of my tax quarters got missed. So, I ended up having to double-pay my taxes. We went back and tried to figure it out and never got it figured out. But this time, everything went okay. I'm going to call today and confirm that they were paid because they should have moved over to the new escrow and make sure that I'm not missing anything. The application process with ClearPath was very simple or I wouldn't have done it. I had an excellent credit rate going in, so it made it easy. It took two and a half months to get the mortgage and I was very pleased with the rate that I got which was 1.75. By and large, the experience was pleasant. Unlike some of the other companies I dealt with, ClearPath went out of their way to keep me informed and I appreciated that. Even if they weren't making progress, they were telling me. Whatever it was, they had their hands on it and were in control, they knew what they were doing, and they were moving along with a lot of other applications due to the low interest rates. They were handling a lot of business and probably still are but they reached out to me on numerous occasions to tell me where they were and what was gonna happen, which was a very good technique.

I received a letter in the mail for a 1.75% VA home loan refinance from ClearPath Lending on October 20th 2021. I called ClearPath lending the next morning (Today) and asked them about qualifying for the letter I received in the mail and they said...after a lengthy conversation: "that program's quota has been filled up for the month and that I should call them back after Nov 1st as they only allot 300 of these every month." This is a classic bait and switch in which the consumer receives a piece of mail offering a mortgage and terms and then do not make that product available to the consumer.
This company has violated the law several times in the past with veterans. Those who fight for our freedom are being taken advantage OVER AND OVER AND OVER again with still having the flexibility and freedom to CONTINUE to operate and do business.**. I would love to see this company go out of business as a result of their fraudulent and deceptive mailings and disregard towards US Veterans and the consumer by not offering the advertised product they offer on their letter even though the Veteran calls within 24 hrs. of receiving the letter.

ClearPath is a big VA lender and my husband's a veteran. They contacted us during the length of our loan to let us know, “Well, we can do this to lower your interest rate.” There's a Wesley ** that works there and he's been a godsend to us. We did a refi with a cash-out and it took us three months which was not bad with a cash-out involved. Normally, we have refied throughout the six years to lower the interest rate and that has taken a month. The attorneys come to our house and we sign. So it really works with the customers’ benefit. They're great. I can't recommend them highly enough. Don't hesitate and call ClearPath. They're not gonna lie to you or lead you on.

ClearPath called back where some of the other providers didn't call back with the plan. During the application process, they were precise in answering any questions I or my husband had. Everything flowed easily. The rep we spoke with called us every week to keep us updated and let us know the status of the loan and when everything should go through. If he didn't speak to me, he would send me an email saying what step the application was in. Since working with them, not having a house payment for two months was a major benefit for us.

ClearPath sounded so convincing so I availed of their service. One improvement they can do is to stop making promises. They keep telling me I can stop my payment with my mortgage. They said, "We're going to process it on this time here, so you don't need to pay that mortgage.” Later on, they didn't have the paperwork sent from my previous mortgage lender. They promised me I should get an escrow. But the mortgage company said I won't get an escrow. ClearPath then said, "They said they're gonna take this time here, so you might as well pay that mortgage with them."
This happened to me twice and I ended up borrowing money from my daughter just to pay my mortgage. Customer service is mediocre and the customer is the one who ends up on the wrong end of the stick. I almost took ClearPath to the Arizona Attorney General, especially the rep Mike. I'm very dissatisfied and I won’t recommend them.

ClearPath said that there are two different interest rates. Regular credit, for consumers, or home loans. It was a little confusing in the sense that, “Why would you list this for a home loan?” It doesn't make sense. But, the rate still was less than what I was paying. Everybody else was on the same path as they were in the sense of the amount. So, I went ahead and did it. The process was very fast. They made it quite easy, they had sent somebody over to my house, and had me fill out all the papers here at my table, took care of it for me, and I received my payback from my mortgage company. Everything so far has gone very well. They were very friendly.

I'm usually leery about things that, like it says, if they sound too good to be true, then they usually are. But she did what she could and made me feel like it was something worthwhile. In the letter that ClearPath sent me, they said, “You've been pre-selected at this rate.” Then when I went to input the information, and I spoke to the customer service person, he, at first, said, “Yes, you're confirmed at the lower rate.” He asked me for information, I sent in my information, and he processed the loan. Then a few days later, he came back and said, “Oh, no. That rate is not available because your credit score,” according to Experian or one of the three creditors, “was only 780 instead of 806,” which was one of the other credit reporting agencies. It said I was up over 800. They didn't say it was a criteria, necessarily, it had to be up over 800. He just said, “Hey, what is your credit score?” So I said, “I just got this and it was 809."
He called back and said, “Oh, no. We ran it and the credit score was actually a 780 or 790.” Because I wasn't over 800, then they couldn't give me the original rate that they said. But the rate they were able to give me was still lower than I was paying. So I decided to end up going with that lower rate, even though it was higher than what was originally discussed.

They were good. However, they sent a check for a thousand dollars to the insurance company. The insurance company called me and they said that I owe them $300 something. Other than that, everything was perfect. The rep was great. He explained everything and made it simple for me. Every time I called, he answered in a timely manner. I recommend ClearPath fully.

ClearPath quoted me the lowest interest rate. They had a teaser interest rate that only a few people qualify for. I called them and I qualified for that teaser. The application process was easy. They did a good job. The rep I worked with was very efficient and professional. He did a very good job and he responded quickly. The experience was quick, efficient and what you see is what you get.

I got a brochure thing in the mail that said about the VA loan at a rate as low as 1.75 depending on what you qualified for. So, I called ClearPath Lending and talked to Jacob. He was very nice and talked to me politely. He gave me straight up answers and that helped me decide to go with them and get a refinance. Compared to that, the company that we're with didn't even want to talk to me on the phone about refinancing or dropping their interest rate.
ClearPath has done things excellently but they should make sure that everybody's informed a little quicker about certain things. In my case, my time was going to be up and I got to make a payment. Initially, I thought the payment was going to be with ClearPath, but they sold my account to Freedom. And I hadn't even heard from them until two weeks prior. I was getting worried because I've never been late on a house payment and I didn't want to start now being late. If they could just pay the house off then I'd be done with it.

I submitted a request over the phone and they pulled my credit. The rep sent me some documents to virtually sign and I sent him some documents. I understand Real Estate, so the application process was very simple. I spoke with the rep on the phone four times and then through email. It was very straightforward. He didn't have to explain much because I already knew what he was talking about or whatever was going on. But what he was saying was in simple terms so anybody could follow. His lack of pushiness stood out for me. ClearPath gave me a good interest rate for what I qualified for. They're a reliable and honest company.

ClearPath walked me through all the steps and kept me updated with what was going on with the process. Everything was done by computer so it was good. The rep was very knowledgeable on what it was that I needed. She kind of broke down all the numbers to me. Everything that she explained was exactly what I got at the end of the contract. I would recommend ClearPath to a lot of people that are trying to get a lower interest rate, especially if you're with the military. They made the process super easy. It didn't take over 30 days. They explained everything, not only the person that supported the process, but also the team she had that would step in and put their subject matter expertise to the table. Overall, it was perfect. I didn't feel like I was blindsided by anything.

It was one phone call to get all the details. The next phone call, to get all the information. And it was smooth from there. Just wait. The rep was patient. He dumbed it down for me pretty well. It was very honest. It was just all my decisions, and easy information. I dropped my interest rate half a percent. And it reset my mortgage to where I didn't have to pay mortgage for the next couple of months. So that has helped out.

I sent the payment to ClearPath because that's the only address I had. I was in the hospital when they sent me the information but I don't have that information. They are going to send the check back to me to send it on to Freedom Mortgage. I love ClearPath and Freedom. We're very pleased with everything. Jacob is a doll. He is a wonderful person and everyone we had worked with in the past, then and this past time refi, was so professional. We couldn't ask for an easier and a better experience. The process was extremely simple and ClearPath was pretty helpful. Everything worked good. The phone conversations took a week or two, and then we were in contact with each other. We were in the loop the whole process. Nobody was in the dark. So it was pretty good. It was effortless. The process with them was pretty easier than prior experiences. I'm a Vietnam vet, and we're in our mid-70s, and they were beautiful for us.

I called ClearPath and I got Nick. He was so helpful from the beginning and he walked us through everything, even the computer deal. We did everything on the computer and it was smooth sailing to do the refinance. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but that was part of the process. There was waiting at the end but I'm sure there were a lot of hoops that had to be jumped through for them to approve everything and get it all set up. And it was so easy for us. We're elderly, we stay close to home and we didn't have to go to a bank. Even the attorney came to our house, so that made it easy.

I received an offer in the mail from ClearPath with a 1.75% refinance interest rate. I called them up and their application process was simple. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And it took almost zero effort on my part to do it. I just had to collect a few documents, then I had to scan and email them to them. I got a 30-year mortgage and some VA, and the rate they gave me was the best one to go with.

When I had questions, the guy that I dealt with was amazing. His name was Mark and he was patient and understanding. He went over stuff with me and verified everything. I called him one time at 8 in the evening and he still answered and he was able to sit and walk me through what I was looking at. He explained stuff to me to a T because I didn't know much about refinancing in the first place. My husband did his own research as well and everything that Mark had told us was correct. Any question I had, even if it was something that he wasn't sure on 100% because of it being a veteran loan, he looked it up and was able to call me back. Then he offered to send me some information in an email. So, that way, I could look it up a little bit more. I was really happy with ClearPath. I love the rate that I got because it went down almost 4%.

ClearPath is wonderful, and I felt comfortable with the first guy, Anthony, and then Cindy was very helpful. I had a good feeling about them. I got myself out of bankruptcy and things for me were hectic. Things were changing, and new stuff kept coming up because of what I had been through. With ClearPath, I got a lower interest rate and a lower monthly payment for my mortgage. I got a new start, and I don't have to worry about somebody coming and saying, "This happened. We're going to have to do this and do that."

Working with ClearPath Lending was nice. The rep took his time, did a beautiful job and got us through. The only one problem was when we got to make a payment, but it wasn't his fault. It was hard to get through to that line, but finally, everything worked out. I got my payment plan set up and everything is okay. The process took two and a half months, which was normal, and we were satisfied. The payments have dropped a lot, and that's like a blessing. We're on a fixed income. Also, this is through the VA, so we shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I worked with Larry and the rate I got for the refinance was 2.2%. My house note is less than what I paid for when I rented a townhouse. I've got a beautiful home. I was telling some of the other guys in my office that refinancing is not a bad idea. It takes a while to recoup what it costs you to refi. But in the end when you're gone and somebody is making your house note for you, it's a lot easier to pay $1,400 than to pay $1,700.

My experience with ClearPath was rough. They sent somebody here to fill out the forms and the witness, but I didn’t have much communication with them. There’s one guy, Ned, that I worked with for a while then they switched off to somebody else. I also wanted to get the lowest rate that I could possibly get for my refinance, but I didn’t get it. All I got for a while was mystery, and I had to find out what was going on. I spoke to several reps and they told me they sold my mortgage to someone else. They said it's customary to sell mortgages in this business. Now, I'm working with somebody else from a different company.

I've been working with ClearPath Lending for a couple of years now. I went through the VA and one of ClearPath's representatives, Michael, processed the loan for me. He gave me the information and the rate to lock it in. He said the rate was 2.25 and they were much cheaper. At that time, I already had loanDepot's data, and when we compared their data with ClearPath's, loanDepot was very expensive.
Recently, I had some escrow coming. My loan officer told me what my escrow was and that's what I should be getting. However, the escrow that was supposed to come to me was taken and moved forward to the new loan because my last mortgage company, Freedom Mortgage, took the new loan again from ClearPath. The loan was paid off June 2nd. I'm still waiting for my escrow and it's been way over the ETA.
My loan officer does what I ask him to. My only gripe is that when I run into a problem (like trying to get my escrow from this last situation and I wasn't hearing from the mortgage company), I would try to contact him and sometimes he’s there, but sometimes he’s not. I then call the operator and they say, “He's out for right now. Just leave a message,” or I leave a message and he calls me back. By that time though, the assistant has answered my questions.

My loan officer was chill and laid back and communication was great. It was a quick process, too. I gave them my ID once and they also needed to forward the paperwork (a lady came to do the paperwork). I was informed of everything via either email, text, or straight up phone call. I would suggest ClearPath Lending to people. I had a great experience. I did comparisons beforehand, and that's what made me go with them. Before, I was paying $200 more on interest than I was principal and that always bothered me. With ClearPath, I'm paying $150 more on principal than I am interest. They also gave me the rates, like, “This loan is gonna make you pay off your house this much quicker,” and that was something cool.

We've had a ClearPath loan for the last three years, and we just did a refinance. We got to ClearPath through NewDay USA that assigned it to them. I've had at least two ClearPath teams, ‘cause we've changed the interest rate twice, and it has been without fault anywhere. We had a couple of little hiccups, but other than that, the staff has been great.
I'd recommend ClearPath to just about any other person. The only negative from ClearPath was that we also continued to get letters announcing that interest rates were going down. We were working with a team, so the first few times that happened, we thought, “Okay, is this part of the system?” I finally figured out it was just a regular marketing system and they were handwritten notes from their staff.

It was easy up to the closing, although the closing part took over an hour because there were so many documents to sign. Also, a lady came to my house for the closing. ClearPath Lending has been really great. I set up automatic payments and when the interest rates go low enough where it's gonna save me some money, they notify me right away. Anything that I don't know, I ask them and they answer all my questions. Even when you're going through the loan process, they call and tell you what's going on and that they'll get back to you in a few days when this comes in. They're true to their word. The rep I worked with was Mark and he was really friendly. He was knowledgeable and knew his business and the best way for your money to go, what would save you the most money in the long run.
For this one, for the refinance, because we had just refinanced before, I didn't have to have an appraisal and I didn't have to get any proof of income because it was still new enough. We live in Ohio and he was in California and he just emailed me the paperwork to sign to start the process and I emailed it back signed. Then, they had the notary come right to the house to sign the papers at the end of it. It was easy-peasy and over within just a couple of weeks.

I love the personability that I had with ClearPath's rep, Nathan. He made the process super simple for me. He had me text information to the business phone, things like photos. He made it really fast, kept me up to date on everything almost daily, and made it super quick and easy for me, which I really appreciated. The process took a little longer than the weeks that we anticipated but that's understandable and I'm used to it taking time when you finance. I got a wonderful interest rate this month, so I'm super happy. The application process with ClearPath was better than before and it was a lot less stressful because they have all my paperwork from when I refinanced in the past with them. They called me out of the blue and we talked and decided to do it. I used the same person and he was very good to get back to my questions and contacting me, and it made it easy. But the person they sent over to my house for my wife and I to sign all the documents told me as she left that we wouldn't have to make two of the monthly payments. But it turned out, we only had one month that we do not have to pay. Still, working with ClearPath was a very good experience.

I've worked with ClearPath before. Then, ClearPath has a loyalty program so they notified me and I qualified for a reduction in my interest rate and asked if I wanted to refi again. We went over some details and numbers and I got the process going. It was a very good and smooth experience with ClearPath. They had a missing document, but they made an effort and they found it with the Recorder of Deeds. This was something that was left out during my last refi because I told them there was no way I can find something like that, especially during this time of the year. We're all still recovering from that worldwide pandemic.
The second time was even faster. There was one problem though and that was with the closer. The notary texted me the night before saying that I needed two government IDs. I told her I'm retired, so I don't have two government IDs, but one state ID. She said I could use a Social Security card, but I would have to make a photocopy of it. Who carries their Social Security card around? I don't. I know I have one, but trying to find it at the last moment was not going to be possible. So, I texted her back after a few hours and told her, "It's not going to be possible, so don't waste your time. We'll just have to cancel. Until I can find that, we'll have to reschedule." She texted me back saying, "No worries." I took it for granted that she meant, "Okay, we'll go ahead and cancel." She showed up anyway but I wasn't home. She called ClearPath and told them that I wasn't there for the appointment.
Nathan, the rep of ClearPath, texted me, "We have seen you refuse to sign the documents with the notary. What is the concern?" I was just blown away with it. He said, "We sent you your closing documents prior to you signing with the notary. My team and I were working on getting you a rapid and smooth closing. What'd you do? The loan is now suspended. We had your rate locked in. I wouldn't see why you want to cancel all of this so suddenly. Please give me a call ASAP so we can get this resolved."
She didn't tell them. I called Nathan right away and told him, "There's another side to this story here." If she meant, "No worries," about the second ID, then she should have clearly stated that. We rescheduled for a day later with Nathan and I just dropped everything and I found that Social Security card and I made a photocopy and brought it. Two days later, we resolved it. That was the only issue, but the problem wasn't with ClearPath or Nathan, it was with this notary.

I talked to a guy named Mark and his conversation was clear and precise. I didn't feel like there was any deception. He was the one who convinced me that I should decide to use ClearPath. He always told me, “Hey, if you need an answer to a question, just give us a call.” I called him five times and he was right there Johnny-on-the-spot. He answered my questions to make me feel that much more comfortable. There was another guy who worked with Mark and he was just as great.
The application process was the best part and it was effortless. If there was any work involved, they were the ones who did it. It actually brought something of a sad situation back to my mind, and that was my ex-wife when she was killed. I had GEICO insurance, and GEICO said, “Hey, would you like us to handle it?” And I said, “Yes.” And next thing I know, they took care of everybody involved. Well, somewhat, that was like ClearPath. I said, “Hey, do your thing.” And that's just what they did. I got the best deal and everything went by the numbers. I'm trying to promote ClearPath to the veterans because they need to be aware that there is someone that will take care of business and do it right.

ClearPath's application process was very quick. I did have a little problem with communications, because we're going so fast, they weren't talking to me. But it came out fine. They introduced their interest rate almost immediately. And that kept my interest going. Most people don't do that.

The rep said they were a refinancing company and explained to me that the interest rate was low. The application was very quick. I did the paperwork and I was happy that there was no inspection. The last time I refinanced, I did an inspection and at the end of the day, the finance company didn't go through with the refinance. I lost some money for the inspection, but they didn’t give me back the money.

I’ve been with ClearPath for nearly five years and I've had the same rep the whole time until he either transferred or quit. As a veteran, their process is extremely easy. Because they already have all my stuff on file, it just updates every year when I do my taxes. The process for my last house and this current house was done in less than a month.

ClearPath is a very good company to deal with when financing or refinancing your home because they are very informative and make things very clear. We started talking to one guy, but he ended up on vacation, and then we ended up with Mr. **. He was good and honest and we felt comfortable with him. He made it very clear what we could and couldn't do. We pay once a month and we want everything on time. The money is usually deducted out of our account the first of every month. One thing though, I would normally get a copy of all the paperwork, but I don't have it.

I don't blindly go out and talk to many people, so I was a little hesitant at first. But once I started talking with them, they were pretty reassuring and they got back to me quickly, within hours or a day at the most. They were one of the most efficient companies I've ever seen. They were organized and they did a really good job.

I was really surprised at how easy and seamless the application process went. I enjoyed the loan officer. He was always there, willing to answer my questions when I had questions. He made himself available during weekends and he even laughed at my jokes. What stood out to me the most was his honesty. Everything that he said turned about and happened just as he said it would. I've refinanced a lot of loans and you'd be surprised at how much honesty there isn't out there. They'll tell you one thing, and then you'll find out two months later that that's not what it really is. But by then, it's too late to back out. I was very satisfied with ClearPath. Also, I'm very satisfied with the continuing program where they will look at the market, and if things change, they'll contact me so that we can work out a new loan process. I'm very excited about that. I feel like I'm in good hands.

They pretty much did what the document said. So there was no jumping through hoops and providing a million documents. I've done a few refis and this application process was pretty good. When you do a loan over the phone, you're kind of apprehensible, but it went very well. I was very surprised. It was a great experience.

I refinanced with ClearPath over a year ago. The rep I worked with had done better than anybody else that I know of. He got everything done. Some of these people would give you the runaround, alibis, and excuses. But my rep was fantastic. I did very little the first time I financed. The second time, he had everything on his computer so I hardly did anything. I didn't have to get the house appraised. I just told the rep what I wanted to do. And he did what he said he was gonna do. The application was the easiest with ClearPath and the whole process took less than three months. I got a 2.25, which is unheard of. I recommend ClearPath to people who want to refinance.

I refinanced with ClearPath as the interest rate was down and I could save a lot of money if I lock it in. That's saving thousands and thousands when that interest rate goes down, especially if you had a high rate starting off. Mine was a four-point-something and it became a 2.25. It went down quite a bit. All the process took about a month and everything went well. My loan rep was really nice and he called me all the time. He kept me on my toes about everything that was going on.
ClearPath is doing a good job. When you call and you talk to someone, these people are concerned. They were sending me everything. They said, "You need to think about what you're gonna do and how you're gonna do it." The only thing is they are supposed to send me my payment schedules but I haven't gotten that yet. It's already July. I wanted to go paperless but that was going to cost a little something so I just do the check like I've been doing.

ClearPath gave me the cheapest price from the beginning, then they jacked it up a couple of days later when they already told me it was locked. But it was still cheaper than what New Day wanted. The loan officer stayed in contact with me and let me know what was going on. It took about three weeks to a month, but part of that was my fault ‘cause I told him I was canceling it, and then I just thought about it. I really needed to do it so I called him back and he said he had held it to the side.

The loan officer was extremely attentive and would call us and let us know. They had put the application on hold because of the market at one point. We understood that and then they came back. Within just a few weeks, they had cleared our loan for the approval process. ClearPath seems to be more on their toes than other lending institutions that we've dealt with through the years.

I got the new Welcome aboard package from ClearPath Lending and I was told verbally over the phone that my new servicer is the same as the old one, which was Freedom. I received a letter from Freedom saying my mortgage is paid off and I got a check too. I got a check from whoever for the money back on the refinance. But I haven't received any paperwork stating I've been refinanced and my first payment is due. And this is how much it is for. I talked to a guy called Greg around the first of June and he said that everything was okay and to give it time. The 1st is when I normally make my payment. That way, they receive it no later than the 16th.
One time, they didn't even receive it until the 16th. I was scrambling to make the payment so it wasn't late and I managed to do that, to find out they got it on the 16th. That created hate and heartburn. They told me I could avoid this by putting them on automatic payments every month. I can't do that because I don't know when exactly the money's going to be there for them to suck it out of my account. I normally could but I was holding off on doing the automatic payments every month until the dust settled. And as of right now, this is probably going to be the last time I'm going to refinance because interest rates are going up.
In the meantime, I was getting bills from mortgage for pay-off requests at $30 a pop and they were catching on to my monthly payments. I paid one and I got a letter from them stating I owed for two more. Greg, at ClearPath, said not to worry and they would take care of that. I said okay and asked about the 30 bucks that I had to pay so far. I talked to his supervisor and he told me to tell Greg and that they would send me a card. I never got anything and that was two months ago.
At the time I talked to Greg, my concern was the paperwork I received didn't say anything about money in escrow for flood insurance. The last time I refinanced, the flood insurance got dropped off and I had to jump through hoops with Freedom to get the flood Insurance put back on for escrow. When we were initially discussing the refinancing, I expressed this concern and then I got a letter stating I no longer lived in a floodplain because my address changed.
The house didn't move but the address changed and I was informed that I was no longer in a floodplain. I ended up having to call the county and they said that according to their FEMA maps, I'm still in a floodplain. So, I got back with Greg and said that I have to have flood insurance and he has got to make sure it's part of the escrow. Because I'd rather have a smaller payment attached to my mortgage every month than having one giant bill roll in saying I owe them 500 bucks.
The only recourse I have is to make another phone call to Greg and make sure that everything's okay. And the second one is to call Freedom and ask if I have a loan with them and when it is due to make sure I get the payment to them on time. How much it is is important because the point of refinancing was to lower the payments down. I started out two and a half years ago at right around $1,300 a month. Then, it dropped. And then, it dropped again. The last one was $1,045 and this one's supposed to be less than $1,000. I hope it doesn't go more than $1,045, which is what I was paying before. If it goes above that, something's drastically wrong seeing as how I'm paying less interest. But that's neither here nor there.

The communication from ClearPath Lending was probably A1 on a scale because every question we had was answered properly, correctly and politely. They were clear in their communication, so there's no ambiguity. They did an outstanding job. The closing was done well and we had a good closing agent. The fellow came to the house like it was done before but this one was very professional and great so everything worked very well. The one we had before when we closed on the first loan was inept. We've refinanced twice before with other lenders and other properties, and this was the easiest and the smoothest. So, I would recommend ClearPath.

We did our financing with ClearPath Lending when we bought our house, and then they sold it off to Carrington Mortgage, and then we just wanted to go back to them. So, we had it refinanced and ClearPath went back to us. The reps had everything lined up and places for us to sign highlighted. It had a bit of somebody else's paperwork in it, but they noticed it when they were out there we're signing. They got that taken care of and got the other part sent to us, signed and sent it back. We got it done. However, there was a lot of paperwork. We got the writer's cramp when we got done. They should shorten the paperwork. Other than that, we tried a few other companies to get it done and nobody was satisfactory as far as ClearPath. I would suggest anybody giving them a shot at it. If you had trouble in the past to get a mortgage done, which my granddaughter seems to be in the process of it, ClearPath would help you out. Just give them a call.

A guy set up the whole mortgage thing and then it was transferred to ClearPath Lending. It went through the bank but everything was handled very nicely. The guy was very nice. I liked the congeniality and an overall professional look that Brent had with my situation with my finances concerning my home. When I first met the guy, I said, “Man, what am I getting into?” But we talked 15 minutes and I was like, “This is a really down-to-earth guy.” And he had this cool cowboy laugh, and it pulled me in. He's an amazing person dealing with all the little nooks and crannies that me and him had to walk through in a couple of my finances. I know nothing about refinance whatsoever, and he walked me through the whole thing with no computer on my side. He got the paperwork to me and he did it in a happy, “Hey, we're your buddies,” kind of way, which was beneficial to me.Because of acceptance of who I am, as well as my property, I’ve stayed with that man a number of years. He has put up with all my garbage.
Even after the refinance would be completed, they would check with people on a monthly basis to make sure that their client would be comfortable, and them knowing also with no mistake that their client received everything that they were supposed to receive. Also, during and before two weeks, they could call the client involved and give them a heads-up and also let them know, whoever their home insurance is with, that they would be changing a company if that were to happen. They would also help them in mailing the money and reassuring them that with their guidance, the money would go into the proper hands.
I was a little uncomfortable with mailing that much money in my first refinance. Like, “Not only we're a great team, Clyde, but we're also really in your corner too.” If there was any other refinance company that I would deal with in the future, it would certainly be ClearPath because of my experience with the people that I have been working with in the past, as well as Nancy, because she was a beautiful young lady.
