    I purchased tickets to U2 at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Tickets were sent for transfer then canceled by the seller. Ticketmaster sent a notice that the seller canceled the ticket sale was canceled that I needed to contact the company I purchased from for a refund. Called Vivid. They said that the seller did cancel the tickets sale and they would request the seller to re send them. Asked if I could wait a month and to keep an eye on my e mail. I informed them that I needed a confirmation that if the seller didn't send the tickets I had purchased that they would indeed honor their guarantee. They refused to send an email stating that they would provide alternative tickets as good or better.

    I explained that I needed to purchase 2 plane tickets to Las Vegas and book a hotel for the concert and experience that if they just say they cannot get me the tickets that I would be out 2 round trip airline tickets and the hotel costs. They guarantee on the phone but will not put into writing the guarantee, furthermore they have a phone service in another country that gives verbal promises they will not be liable for. I asked for a phone number to call a manager and they refused to provide one. Saying only to rest assured.??? Really??? Not resting at this point.

    A very bad experience with a very polite person telling me to rest assured but will not send an email confirming that they will provide backup tickets. That they will get my tickets the day before the event even though they confirmed that the ticket sale was canceled by Ticketmaster. Hopefully someone that actually can do something other than saying rest assured that they have my best interest in mind??? Will respond with, "Do not worry Mr. **. We will get your tickets." instead of promising the moon of the outhouse.

    Same as others...purchased tickets totaling over $1500. <48 hrs before event, told tickets not available. Were given the choice to 1) full refund, or 2) purchase lower grade tickets at 1/2 the price ($750) and get refunded other $750 within 3-5 business days. We agreed to the latter. 13 days later, still no refund. Each time we call, they either say it's our bank merchant OR they restart the clock to another "3-5 business days". Awful! They used to be reputable...but sadly, not anymore. Have suspended plans for future purchases. Must we all take legal action to get our refunds? Is this class action material? What a fall from grace! Buyers Beware!!!

    I purchased tickets for an upcoming Steelers NFL game. I never received the ticket transfer. According to customer service this last week, the person they allowed to sell me these tickets on their site didn’t actually have tickets and they are saying they cannot help and to be patient. The game is a week away and they are telling me there is no refund. I am in palliative care and disabled and one of my last wishes was to attend this game. I am out $2000 and the tickets. This is fraud and a scam. Don’t buy tickets here.

    Use SeatGeek,,,Vivid might be dangerous,, If you can't see your tickets a day before the event please call the ticket reseller, and make them show you your ticket, Viv-- didn't send my ticket, and I couldn't find their phone number,, so Hollywood Bowl sold me a ADA seat for $20 flat rate, I paid viv--- $55,,, I called them the next day, got nothing,,, I will not buy from viv--, ever.

    Useless customer service, I bought tickets which had a undeclared obstructed view, I had to call three time to be told they made a decision and it's final. Nothing provided in writing, no explanation given, just stall tactics to avoid giving a discount, I did not even request a refund, they take commissions on a virtual product and can't even return that money, what's a buyer's guarantee worth from this company? I'd say about worthless. The seller should seek a refund from the venue ie Ticket master, it's not my fault I had a obstructed view, the seller and Vivid made money off my sale and I got to sit in obstructed view seats, me the customer left holding the bag and they can't even be bothered to explain the policy to me. Stick to buying direct from ticket master or use stub hub, vivid is not legit in my opinion, I'll be following up with Visa to charge back.

    I had a horrible experience buying tickets through Vivid Seats. I ordered two tickets to a concert that were advertised as Front Row or equivalent seats in a section. What they sent me was the last row seats, which I could have ordered directly from the event's website for a quarter of the price! I called their customer service and they said all sales are final, no refunds. They have lost a customer for life. Don't buy tickets from Vivid Seats, especially if they list the tickets as "Seat Saver", seats that the seller does not own, but is offering to buy for you.

    I purchased tickets through them and they just resend Ticketmaster tickets. I was unable to claim my tickets as they said they were claimed by someone else. They refused to refund my tickets and forced me to make a new email to try and resend the tickets to with still no resolution. This is a total scam of a company and you are better off buy directly from Ticketmaster.

    I listed tickets to a Morgan Wallen concert because it was on a day My son was having a surgery. Over a few months I talked to at least four different agents to make sure that everything was OK. Someone bought the tickets, and accepted them when I sent them, they decided to return them at the last second. Vivid told me they would not give me my money because the tickets were listed wrong even though as I said earlier, I kept checking in with them to make sure everything was OK.. Of course Vivid still made money, but stole $500 from me.

    Vivid seats confirmed my order, took my money, mere seconds later said tickets had been delivered. Tickets were NEVER received. None were found on any of the multiple links they sent me to. And I am still trying to get refunded but so far no luck. They are lying, thieving scam artists.

    On the main website, Vivid Seats listed the price of the Dave Chapelle show. It was listed for $99 dollars. When I clicked further, it showed up as $148 but (Including Fees). I bought four of those tickets. When I eventually charged it, the cost that was charged to my card was $680. That is about $170 per ticket. Not only is their original prices extremely misleading, but even the prices "Including Fees" was wrong as well. I reached out to customer support (the name was Aryan) refused to do anything. They not only mislead you in the front end, but the ticket prices were actually wrong at the end. I will be disputing with my credit card for their fraudulent practices.

    Recently had two tickets to an event in the area I was visiting across the country in California. With the evacuation notices and tropical storm notices in CA, I was unable to attend. Vivid Seats doesn't care, no refunds, no credits, no nothing. The suggestions I got from them were to sell them to a friend or family member so I didn't lose out on my money. These weren't even super expensive tickets. The fact I expressed the warnings and storm notices and they suggested sending a friend or family member is absolutely absurd and grotesque. Do not use this company, for anything, ever.

    Vivid Seats is a thief. I get an email saying I purchase tickets which I didn't. I contacted them. They determine they not cancelling the order and that it was legit. Wicked and evil people. Keeping telling me to dispute with my credit card and my credit card keep saying to have them cancel. They are wicket people. Stay far away from them.

    This company cannot guarantee delivery of your tickets. They guess they can make it happen. When they fail, they will find a reason why not to refund your money. They are totally unreliable. Stick with Ticketmasters or Stubhub.

    Spent $500 on Dodger tickets, MLB moved the game because of a hurricane and I can’t go, Vivid doesn’t care about customers, will never use this service again. Absolutely pathetic to do this to customers that spent thousands on World Series tickets.

    I bought tickets for a concert from this company recently. The site said tickets would be delivered on 8/15. 8/16 arrived with no tickets. I contacted them at noon and was told tickets would arrive "soon" and at least "two hours before show time". Well neither occurred. Their live chat system gave me zero answers and repeated the same nonsense lines. They then just before concert time said, "Oops we can't give you those tickets because of an issue with the seller." This is a garbage company and I will never use them again. Thanks for ruining my night.

    I never received my tickets for my August 11, 2023 event! The agent on the phone did not help me at all, said they could not reach the seller after I reached out 4 times to Vivid more than 24 hours before my event and even 2 hours prior to my event, completely BOGUS! I want a full refund of my money. I will Never use VIVID again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. A night out with my husband was canceled because my PURCHASED tickets were never delivered to me. HORRIBLE EVENING! Obviously they need to do a better background check on their sellers. Buyer BEWARE. Do not use!

    Bought Parking tickets for a concert on their site at a huge premium so I could be close to the venue. Despite my repeated requests, I did not get the tickets. They said they sold them from another site. After asking me to download two other company's sites and search for tickets I finally found an email from a random guy from some other website with "tickets" 5 minutes before event. When I got to venue the attendant said they were fake. Two people in front of me also bought tickets from Vivid Seats and theirs were also fake.

    160 dollars charged - they were charging people at the gate 50 - without a reservation on date of concert. I tried to call and email customer service as the website says they have a 100% money-back guarantee. They refused to reply - months went by and I kept getting emails saying they were working on it. Then I got an email saying I had used a different email address - which I did not - to order and wanted my other email, phone number (which they had) street address and zip code. (phishing for private information). Finally, after two months, gave up on getting my money back, and blocked them as I was concerned they were one: not going to do anything - not worth my time, but more importantly - two: were trying to get personal information from me. DO NOT USE.

    I have been waiting since Tuesday to get my wristbands for Hinterland. I paid $136 in hidden process fees and for what? Just to be told that they’ll keep getting shipped the next day and the next day. It’s Thursday now and I have not received a clear update if the tickets have shipped. I have been anxiously waiting as the show is on Saturday. I have come to find out the tickets that were double the price of what they were initially at $213 rather than $100, plus the overnight shipping, and the ridiculous hidden “processing fees”. Don’t go to Stub Hub or Vivid Seats, sure even $30 in process fees for axs is a lot but $136?? I could’ve gotten a three day pass for $10 cheaper through axs. Thanks a bunches.

    Purchased tickets to Atlanta Braves game to delivered electronically. However, I wasn't told before purchase that tickets wouldn't be delivered until less than 24 hours before event. We were traveling from SC. Called customer support and was given crazy explanations such as: the seller doesn't have the QR code yet or The Atlanta Braves box office won't release the tickets. Just imagine arriving to your destination without tickets! I was so stressed! Please anyone reading this review, DON'T purchase tickets from Vivid!! I don't want anyone to have to endure what I did!

    The worst experience! I purchased two tickets for a concert, and I only received 1 in my AXS account. I have been on multiple calls and have sent screenshots as proof over email. Vivid Seats refused to refund me for the one ticket I NEVER received. They say they conducted an internal investigation and the seller provided proof they sent it. But I ALSO provided screenshots clearly showing only one ticket in my account. I had to last minute purchase another ticket for my friend from StubHub. Absolutely unacceptable that they refuse to refund for a product I never received.

    Was up-sold stadium parking ticket for $70. Turns out parking was 2 miles from the venue at a public library that charges $20 for all day. Customer service horrible on the phone for over an hour and all we got “too bad so sad”. TOTAL SCAMMERS BEWARE!

    There should be a class action lawsuit against this company. First, false advertising as to the price of the ticket as they added $100 to the price of the ticket as a "service fee" - on a $80 ticket. Ok, I accept that I am paying a bunch of money because these shady companies bought up all the seats available for MLB games. But what was totally hidden is the HASSLE. It says, instant delivery. It is not. Two hours later, tickets still processing. Then I get an alert that I have to call them to verify.

    I call them. They have to call me back, then they say, "We sent the ticket." No you did not. Them: (snotty) "Look in your email." Me: "Dude, I am looking at the email, it says, "action required"." Them: (snotty) "Look at your email, it's in your email. I just sent it." Me: "Dude, I am looking at the email I just received, it says, action required, what do I need to do?" Them: "You want to talk to customer support?" Me: "Isn't that who I'm talking to?" Them: "No, I am verification department" - transfers me.

    Them: "What can I do for you?" Me: "I bought tickets three hours ago, I got a message action required, call a phone number, that dude said, "My job is verify, not help, I'm transferring." So now I'm talking to you." Them: "I just need to verify. Get your credit card out so I can verify." Me: "I thought I was just talking to verification?" Them: "I don't know who that was, but I'm verification." - verify again, now with credit card number and email where first verification was phone number, ssn, email and a call back. - Them: "Ok, now you are verified, but you need to download a different app then the Vividseat app. The Vividseat app is to just show you status and betting on games." Me: ok, downloaded yet another app. Them: "Ok, now let's verify again, then you should have them." OMG - I didn't expect "instant delivery" to require three apps on my phone, four phone calls, and three and a half hours of hassle.

    Because buyer didn’t look at the ticket date and missed the event and tried to go another night. I the (seller) had to pay for the original price of the ticket and reimburse the buyer for twice what they paid.

    I purchased a parking ticket with Vivid Seats a few days before my event. I received a confirmation email with my purchase but never received my emailed barcode ticket so that I could use the ticket. When I called them, they stated that the ticket was emailed to me. Which it was not! I checked all of my email and junk mail, as well as tried to get it off of the app with my registered account. I would never purchase from this company. Scam and bad customer service.

    I went to their website to purchase tickets for the Giants vs A's. The tickets indicated 1-4 tickets for the section and row I wanted. I tried to select 3 tickets but the website would not allow me to purchase just 3 tickets. The website gave an option of 1, 2, or 4 tickets. I purchased 2 tickets and then went to buy 1 more, but it now only allowed 2 tickets for the same section and row. I call customer service but they said it was out of their control and I could sell the tickets on my own and purchase tickets where only 3 tickets are available.

    I've purchased 2 tickets for Laufey concert on VividSeats.com on 5/19/2023. The concert date is 11/2/2023. The total amount is $267.46. I got an email from them on 6/1/2023 and it said my tickets were cancelled due to the seller violated the terms. I called and emailed them many times. They said they will provide me a same level of tickets or give me refund. I didn't hear from them since 6/3/2023 so I disputed the charge and they rebilled it again without providing new tickets. I called again on 7/3/2023 and they said they will provide me new tickets or refund. Today is 7/13/2023 and I still haven't heard from them. Just filed a compliant on Better Business Bureau!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You are warned. This is a scam. I bought 4 tickets to the band Chicago. Bought them 3 months before the show. Third row. Week before tried calling many times. They said, "Don’t worry. They’ll be delivered before the show." Day of on the phone all day with them. On my way to the concert 1 1/2 away while driving they tell me to keep waiting or they can give me other seats. I said no way. I paid $1900 for 4 seats. I want to sit up front. They then tell me they don’t have those seats. I can take the ones in the back of the theater or no tickets. As we were bringing family we had to take these seats. I could have bought better seats at the box office night off. The last person I spoke with told me I was never getting my money back so I took the crappy seats. AGAIN THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Use them at your own peril.

    Vivid seats is terrible! I bought 2 tickets through my bank points in April for a White Sox game today 7/8/23. Yesterday they call to say the tickets are no longer available and offer me seats in general admission when I had seats in the club section. I will never use them again.     Bought tickets for Sam Hunt in April for my 19th anniversary. Bought the guaranteed insurance. Downloaded app. Received emails from Vivid to watch for transfer email. Never came but in app said delivered so I thought we were good. Made the 8 hour drive and 2 hotels. No luck. They blamed it on technical errors. Called the event and they say they see this fraud all the time. The venue sold out a few days before. We are out of luck and tickets. With no resolution, no refund.     I purchased 3 tickets to see Dave Chappelle at a venue that is in a different state, 4 hours from my home. I bought three tickets a little over a month before the event. I received an email immediately after purchase saying that my order had been received and processed. From that point all the way to the event itself, I never received another email. Especially not one stating that I would not be granted entry. We drove all the way to the venue, waited outside in the July Houston heat, which is unbearable, it's severely hot and humid. Only to get to the door to be told that we didn't have tickets and that we were not going to be let in. For the next 2 hours I went round and round with customer service.

    After having them tell me that I in fact did not have tickets, that I was being reimbursed, they tried to sell me more tickets. I reluctantly heard them out just for them to try to take advantage of me again. I opened the app to check the prices posted, while they told me they could sell me tickets for $283 a piece, the app didn't have any tickets going for more than $156. Just an all around horrible experience and I will never buy tickets from them again. What's more disheartening is I've spent so much money with them already. I've gone through them for tickets many times before. This/these infractions are just unforgivable to me. We missed over 2 hours of the event. The only silver lining, we got in literally just in time to only see Dave Chappelle.

    I should have read all the bad reviews before I made this big purchase. I purchased 3 Usher concert tickets months before the concert. My friends and I traveled far to Vegas. Once we got to the venue, I could not pull up the tickets. Someone at the door tried to assist me but she could not pull them either, even though it stated they were delivered. Delivered where?? We tried for over an hour to pull up the tickets and finally one of the managers let us in the concert with 30 minutes of the showing. We paid over $300 for these tickets.

    I reached out to Vivid twice and all I get is someone will reach out to me in 3-5 days. I am still waiting. By the way, you can not speak to a live person only a chat. I was asking them to compensate us for not being able to see the full show. Now they say this is 100% guaranteed. Well I guess they mean 100% guaranteed rip-off!!

    Horrendously bad service. Vivid Seats had an outdated email address for us which I corrected this morning with a representative who assured me the change would get made and I would receive our tickets. The change got made, but the tickets got sent by the seller to the old outdated email address which no longer exists or is accessible. After talking with a rep on the phone just now, she refused to contact the seller to request resending to the correct address, to refund our money or to make the situation right. I just lost over $300. I am NEVER using Vivid Seats again, and will tell everyone I know about my experience. Seems criminal to me, to take someone's money and not correct a problem on their end. Do better.

    DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! They are just a logistics company, they don't actually have control over any of the tickets. Once you purchase your ticket it's up to whoever they bought them from to seat you wherever They want. Seats were not together and they don't provide exchanges or refunds. So they wouldn't do anything to help put our 2 seats together. The company they purchased from of course directed me back to Vivid Seats. I purchased the protection plan which is also not under their control. This company is the same as if I decided to set up a website offering tickets and then call Ticketmaster for you to purchase them and just give you whatever they have left. I am very disappointed with the entire process and run around. You're better off paying the $2 difference with the ticket originators.

Look at their reviews 2.7 stars and many others had the same experience.     I am not one who writes reviews. However, my experience with this website has been very unpleasant. I ordered two tickets for a concert in Colorado and still have not received tickets. The day I purchased these tickets it was supposedly delivered to me electronically hours later. Got an email saying that the delivery was successful, but no tickets were to be found. I called customer service and was told to make a new email and to have the seller re transfer the tickets to this new email. First of all, you should not have to make a whole new email to receive tickets. I had also requested a refund so that I could use another ticket site to buy tickets before the concert is sold out and they refused to give me a refund of MY money. Therefore, I did what they told me to do.

    Fast forward 2 weeks. Received another email saying my tickets were received again. Can you guess what happened? Again same scenario happened. Sat on the phone for an hour. Still no tickets, refuse to give me a refund to buy elsewhere, and here is the kicker! Re-transfer back to the original email! After asking about not receiving tickets and missing the concert due to having no tickets, I was told I would still not get a refund. This website is FRAUD. Do not use it for any of your ticket needs. You will be robbed of your money. FRAUD WEBSITE! ****WARNING**** THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

    We went on and bought seats through their app. But when they sent them to us, they were for a few rows closer than we bought. Now normally, closer seats are better, unless you bought a certain row so that you were in the shaded area for a baseball game. They "upgraded" our seats but they were not the ones we wanted. All I wanted, was the row that I had bought. When I asked their customer service to help, they said there was nothing they could do because they upgraded us to better seats. But I didn't ask to be upgraded! I bought the ones I wanted!!!!

    They were not willing to do anything to help us or to fix it. So instead, we paid $300 to sit in the sun when I wanted to be in the shade. The seats I had bought on row W were in the shade. But instead I "enjoyed" the game in the scorching hot sun in Row S with my upgraded seats! What a joke! I'll not be using Vivid seats again. I'll stick with Ticketmaster who gives me the seats that I actually bought!

    Please do not order from Vivid Seats. Once I placed my order I received an email asking me to click a link to upload a copy government ID which I was happy to do, however it then took you to a site for Sertifi..a third-party site. The verification process was several pages long asking for sensitive information including social security number, verifying previous addresses, and names of family members: Credit check types of questions used for purchasing a home or car. No vendor for selling event tickets needs personal information of this type to process a sale. I immediately called my credit card company and listed this as a fraudulent charge. Buyer beware and protect your personal information!

    I bought the tickets believing I was pay face value, I was sadly mistaken. I paid $203.68 for two tickets. Face value on ticket was priced $25.00 each. I contacted Vivid Seat to refund my money for the tickets I had just purchased 15 mins ago, and they said they couldn't. All sells are final. As I looked closer at the tickets my name nor my credit card wasn't listed, it was the original person that actually paid $25.00 for the tickets. It clearly states on the the ticket that the tickets can't be resold for an amount that exceed the price of face value. I called and spoke to customer service and I was on hold for 31 mins before THEY hung up on me. I would like my money back or at least let the public know this a fraud/scam...

    I went to purchase F1 tickets. I chose the area I wanted to purchase and appear a GA1 saying it was the area of General Admission. I read everything carefully and place the order. Once placed the order in the details appears that the tickets purchased were a General Admission Child. I called to explain and they tell me that because I have received the email with the link even if I had not used nor printed the ticket they cannot do anything. Also the only option is to put the tickets for sale, and the cherry on top is that they cannot sell those tickets since they were electronically purchased.

    I do not care about their policies, but the fact that the tickets did not have specified before the purchase they were child tickets is illegal. I took screenshots. (I triple check entering in the page to buy additional tickets and in any step prior to the purchase I could see that the tickets were for a child.) I got screenshots and I am going to claim to my bank since Vivid Seats do not do anything.

    I purchased a parking ticket for a Blink-182 concert for $97, which was $71. I paid for them four weeks in advance, and on the day before the event, they informed me that they could not find the seller. They then told me they could give me another ticket in the same place and the same face value for the key. Then they send me a ParkWhiz ticket worth $25 and 4 blocks away from the event. I tried to contact them again, and they said since I accept the other replacement, there is nothing they can do. They want you to pay high pricing so that they can keep your money.     Skip this vendor at all costs. They do not verify the tickets from the seller for their website description. You have no idea what you are really buying and they will not help you if your tickets are incorrect. Don’t even think about getting a refund. I called twice. Their reps speak broken English, pretend they don’t understand you, and continually putting you on hold hoping you’ll give up. I was on the phone with them for an hour. They kept saying the ticket was listed with a different description than what I saw at the time of purchase. I was mostly on hold for that hour. Then the guy I was dealing with pretended he couldn’t hear me and hung up.

    I bought very expensive festival tickets for Electric Forest. The tickets I bought were supposed to be for a pre-set campsite with electricity and air conditioning. I received the wristbands and they are for a regular campsite - bring your own gear and no electricity. I paid double the cost of these tickets! I know what the description on their website said. However, Vivid Seats’ argument is that the ticket description said something else and that the were accurately listed and I just overpaid - by double. Who in their right minds would do that? They asked if I had a screenshot which I do not. I don’t know who kept that big profit, their company or an individual. Either way someone made thousands on this transaction and Vivid is unwilling to help.

    They are also affiliated with AXS who is the ticket seller for the Electric Forest event. So I cannot believe they did not know what the tickets entailed before they listed them on their website (incorrectly). So I am out $3,000 with no recourse. I will never use them again and will urge everyone I know to avoid them as well. They do not have 100% guarantee. This company is a scam. Just read the other reviews. One last tiny detail was that the tickets I received were also missing the commemorative bags that come with them. Not a big deal when I’m already out that amount of money. It was just an added insult to the injury. Wish I could rate negative stars. They know exactly what they are doing to make extra money.

    I ordered a parking pass for a ball game and did not receive the ticket until 5 minutes before the game started. This does not give enough time to park and get into the event prior to start time. I ordered earlier in the day and received an email stating my ticket was ready. There was no ticket there and when I called customer service they said (after 45 minutes on the phone) the seller has to "find" the ticket and actually send it. They would not issue a refund so I could just buy from somewhere else, only told me to keep checking my email for it to come through. It finally did 5 minutes prior to the event.

    At that point I had already bought from somewhere else because it did not come through before I needed to be there. When I asked for a refund after 2 weeks of waiting, they say I was sent the ticket but listed 3 different times and would not listen to anything I explained to them, even though I have the emails with the exact times and the customer service person's name. They are thieves!

The only thing I received was from Vivid Seats with my order details. I went on to the vivid app and it says delivered but they did not.

    I called their customer service number, but this concert was at 630pm and the line was huge so it was about 8 pm and they did not answer their customer line. The manage gate person at the concert explained we should have either a physical ticket or a electronic ticket, we did not receive either. Now, I called their customer service phone since their chat line keeps saying that they do not have my correct email which they do because that is where they sent the reset password instructions. Nevertheless, this customer person named Rem, tells me they are the scalation department, and there is no manager besides them, and that he can guarantee me the seller showed THEM proof, he sent the email with the tickets on May 11, first he said May 13, but then he said May 11.

    I checked my spam and my inbox, looking for an email that starts with "Accept" but no results. And then I asked Rem, "Please show me the proof that this seller email me the tickets" and he tells me, "NO, we CANNOT send you or show you the proof your ticket was email or sent by the seller." This is a scam. Maybe some people get lucky and get their tickets from honorable sellers, but for thieves and scammers you are just a bait lured by a fancy name and website like VIVID SEATS. Please consumer affairs help us! I paid 136 total including their service fee for each ticket and what a sham! It was! They took my money and never gave my tickets. I asked them for proof that the seller sent them and they say to me THEY CANNOT SHOW ME THE PROOF?? This is awful! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE IF YOU ARE BUYING A TICKET!

    I purchased tickets from Vivid Seats but then the concert was cancelled. The did not notify me or provide refund instructions. I spent half a day trying to get through to someone to help me with the refund - practically impossible to get through to an actual customer service person when I finally did, they did not have record that the concert was in fact cancelled - they were unhelpful and I had to file a complaint with my Paypal for refund of the purchase and still trying to get my money back from a cancelled concert!

    I bought 8 tks for an NFL Football game in KC and the tickets were a resale through Ticketmaster and once Vividseats had my money, I was required to go through ticketmaster to access my tickets in my ticketmaster app. I did receive the tickets with working bar codes BUT, due to them being sold through ticketmaster from the original owner to vividseats, it does not allow me to download them into my apple wallet.

    Once I get to the game, if the service is terrible due to the crowd, I may not be able to access and use my tickets that I spent over $2,100 for and will not find out until game day. I was told by ticketmaster that I would not be able to download them into the apple wallet due to it being a 2nd part sale and they said they couldn't do anything about it because I bought through vividseats. Vividseats told me they couldn't do anything because they were originally ticketmaster seats and vividseats just handles 2nd party sales and they could not do anything but also admitted that they do not disclose this situation of not being able to download their tickets into the apple wallet due to where the tickets originated.

    The vividseat customer service person was aware of this and admitted that this is not disclosed on their website and they do not offer a refund because it's ticketmaster tickets even though it is vividseats who took my $2,100 plus. Ticketmaster said they could not refund since I bought through vividseats, what a joke. I'm left with 8 tickets that I paid over $2,100 showing up on game day hoping I can access my tickets with such a large crowd jamming up the service on my app due to our venue being paperless. Wish me luck!

    Do not use Vivid Seats!! If you are not able to use your tickets and need to resell them you can’t post them on their or most other ticket sites. Why? 1) because I am not a company selling more than 100 tickets (assumption is they do not want normal people to have the ability to compete with them allowing them to control pricing) 2) because vivid and their trusted ticket sales system gave me a ticket in an electronic form and not a pdf which is apparently not trusted by their own site). I was told if I want to resell the 6500 in purchased tickets to “just use social media or use google to see how to resell”.

    I couldn't believe that our bad experience had turned into a happy ending. We initially purchased the tickets from Vivid Seats for a concert. But on the day of the concert, we were told at the gate that the seller sold the tickets to multiple people simultaneously, and therefore our tickets were invalid. You can imagine how upset we were.

    When I read other people's experiences online, I understood that Vivid Seats got the tickets from other sellers, and they do the resale but are not the original seller. I called Vivid Seats to explain the situation, and the lady listened to me carefully and directed me to fill out a claim. Within three business days, they resolved the issue and issued a refund. I truly appreciate the company's quick response and resolution. Our overall experiences with customer service have been very positive. I also suggest people spend a little more to buy insurance for your tickets. If anything happened, it could be resolved sooner.

    Absolutely horrible seats for Frozen in Omaha. I did not receive actual seat number until day before event. I would NEVER have purchased tickets had I known the seat number - complained to VIVID and their response was to ask me to go back to the venue - recreate the event and take pictures - what a JOKE.     Do not use Vivid Seats for any concert ticket purchases. I purchased tickets for a concert that I am supposed to attend tonight and I have yet to receive them. They are a third party seller who "guarantees" you will receive your tickets before the event, however, I bought them back in April, have yet to receive them, have been in communication with them 5 times since yesterday, keep being told different stories about the status of my tickets and they have cut me off via online chat and hung up on me.     I purchased two tickets to Luke Combs that on the website said Pit Row 1 Qty 2 and what I received was two General admission tickets. I paid twice the amount I should have paid because I thought I was getting a premium ticket for row 1.     I’ve purchased from Vivid Seats a few times and every time I find it difficult to use and sketchy. You have to be ready to check out to even see the full order total - or what I think is the full order total. I’m currently looking for some tickets, and I noticed that when logged into the app, I have a 10% discount, but upon the checkout screen, the full total is showing as $30 more a ticket compared to when logged in to the desktop site with the same tickets. This is how I’m understanding it. The app doesn’t exactly show a total. The website is also listed as higher. Of course this all changes and it’s confusing every time. I just want transparency. I don’t understand how that’s so difficult. Put a price, show a breakdown, the end.

    I bought 2 tickets to the Universoul Circus in Richmond, CA. I drove 6 hrs and was not able to use the tickets because Vivid seats never emailed me the tickets, just a receipt of purchase. I was forced to purchase additional tickets at the door. Vivid seats overcharged me, the seats were $29 and I was charged $79 per ticket by vivid seat!!! I will not use them ever again. BEWARE!!!!

    On their website they say they guarantee delivery of tickets or your money back. I purchased tickets to the Cure and was sent a link to my tickets. After clicking on the link it takes you to a site that shows what appears to be Ticketmaster tickets but with no barcode and a disclaimer that says "these are not tickets". After being on the phone with them 6 times, with the last being 90 min, they said they aren't responsible as I accepted (clicked on the link?) the tickets. Even though I never received a barcode or anything from Ticketmaster or them. Avoid this scam company. They never honor their guarantee. I never got to see the show and lost almost $800.

    Purchased two tickets for $1000 for the Suns vs Nuggets NBA game 2. The seats were obstructed behind the camera and camera operator. When purchasing the tickets, the description DID NOT mention the obstruction. Also, prior to purchasing, the seat numbers were not provided. We were required to stand the entire game in order to see the court. I contacted Vivid Seats by phone twice, then three times by email to request a refund for selling tickets with an obstructed view that was not disclosed.     I purchased 4 non refundable tickets to The Cure in CA on 5/21/2023. I became ill and couldn’t make the event, so I called customer service and they told me to sell my tickets. I posted my tickets on Vivid Seats website and the next day the posting was made inactive. I contacted Vivid Seats and they blamed it on the “performer” and to go sell my tickets somewhere else. The problem was the seller I purchased my tickets from wasn’t releasing my tickets until 5/19 less than 48 hours till the event, and the other ticket platforms required an upload or barcode. So I’m basically out $500 because I'm sick, and I have no etickets, and Vivid Seats refuses to help, and only blame The Cure… So please buyers beware! Try Ticketmaster or Stubhub!

    Vivid Seats added 25.00 to the price at the end of the process. I immediately asked for a refund and they refused. This is not something the public should condone, after all, we are customers, not indentured servants. Vivid seats has a business model that is 100% unacceptable and should be illegal. In fact it was illegal in the past. No company behaved this way as recently as 10 years ago. Vivid seats business model designed it such that they were able to steal over 100 dollars from me.

    I have had a horrible experience so far with Vivid seats. I purchased tickets to a concert 4 months ahead of time. The sales sucked me in from an ad that looked like a good price. However by the end of the sales call it was not but I went with it anyway for 2 seats together. At no time did the sales person go over a LATER DELIVERY DATE FOR THE TICKETS UP TO THE DAY OF THE CONCERT! I was told I would be notified of details by email, which I was later. I phoned back wanting to know my seats and delivery date as they weren't shown in the email. Totally different attitude then when selling me the tickets. They now take a stance of 'we're just a site for trading tickets, nothing we can do to help you."

    Basically they took a large fee to scalp the tickets (legally) then provided no accountability and claim no liability. I'm currently still waiting for the tickets to the concert in only 2 weeks. I don't know what seats I'm in and that they're together as promised. I am travelling for the concert and staying in a hotel. Pretty common and why this is that much more troublesome. I'm not sure how a company like this is allowed to do business in Canada, but it's shameful.

    I purchased tickets for Pixies in Denver, Colorado two months in advance and they never arrived. I called the day before the event, and was told to wait until 24 hours before the event, because sometimes tickets don't get released until then for security purposes. That night, I still had no tickets, so I called again. A retransfer was initiated, and I was told I would receive the tickets within a few hours. The next morning arrived and I still had no tickets.

    I called again and was told to continue waiting. At this point I lost all faith in this company and bought tickets through SeatGeek instead. Those tickets were delivered within a matter of hours. Vivid Seat's tickets still never showed up. I called the next day to get a refund, and they are now refusing to refund because their seller confirmed the ticket delivery. I don't know where those tickets were actually delivered, though, because it certainly was not to me. Terrible company. I will never be buying tickets through them again.

    I bought tickets to George Strait back in November of 2022. Concert not until May of 2023. I selected Section 132. Unlike Ticket Masters, they wait until the day before or day of concert to deliver your tickets. And if you don't know where to look for them, you have to call to figure it out. So I did just that and when I got them didn't realize that they weren't even the section I had bought them for. They put me Section 134 where we on side of stage and couldn't see much. Spent almost $2000.00 for tickets and very upsetting that they were the wrong section. Will never puchase tickets from them again.

I was searching their site and I put tickets in the cart but I never authorized or purchased the payment! Next thing I know after the “time limit” I had to purchase the tickets, I had an email confirming tickets were purchased! All signs pointing to fraud! I called vivid seats so many times and they told me I can’t get my money back and I have to “list them” only to find out that when I supposedly listed them, they didn’t approve them. How I knew that is when I called to confirm they said they denied the listing to be posted and I have to list them elsewhere! Another sign pointing to fraud, I didn’t get the tickets until the day before the show. All I want is my money back and they will not help me. Please beware, DO NOT Purchase from this site! Make SURE you are NOT unknowingly redirected to Vivid Seats website. We were scammed out of $350 and almost Missed our event. It took 6 emails and hours of time to stay on this fraudulent transaction in order for them to finally issue a refund. Most people would've gave up and I'm sure that's what they had hoped for. Bottom line buy direct! If Vivid Seats needs to review their vetting process if they truly want to protect their business. This was a terrible disappointment yet, a great eye opener. Thieves are everywhere.

    I purchased a parking pass at the Prudential Center in NJ, it didn't come. Purchased another and when we arrived at the green lot, they said they no longer do business with them!     I used Vivid Seats for the first time to purchase tickets for an event in another country, and the event was my sole reason for traveling. Upon purchasing the tickets, I was told that they would be emailed/electronically delivered prior to the trip. A week before I left, I got frantic calls and emails from their customer service saying that I would now need to pick up the tickets at Will Call, which was fine.

    A week later, as I was on my way to the airport, I yet again received frantic calls and emails from Vivid Seats saying there was an issue with my order. Turns out the seller no longer had the tickets promised but offered me different seats. I agreed as again, I was literally about to board my flight and could not deal, but WTF?! I then had to search for an Internet cafe in another country just to be able to print out the tickets at cost. Had I just been sent the tickets electronically prior to my trip as promised, I would've been saved a ton of time, money, and grief. DO NOT USE VIVID SEATS IF YOU ARE TRAVELING FOR AN EVENT.

    I purchased a last minute ticket for a show, but it was a few hours before so there would be plenty of time. I didn’t receive my ticket and the show was getting closer. I looked into it & apparently, there was a typo in my email when I made the purchase. Vivid Seats does not verify your email when they take your money for the ticket, even though your ticket is delivered via email, and I feel like that process could easily avoid that kind of problem. I spoke with customer service via a chat who said they’d “try” to reroute my ticket to me but I couldn’t get a refund because they had delivered it to me on time. The chat disconnected then.

    While I do understand there was a mistake on my end, since I believe that they should have simple steps in place to avoid this problem, I reached out to customer service to see if it was possible to get a refund in store credit since I clearly didn’t make it to the show because they don’t have those precautions in place. It’s been almost a week since then and I haven’t received a response. I also never did receive the rerouted ticket, not even late, so I really don’t have any proof that it was delivered in the first place. I will likely not use Vivid Seats again because I am not confident I would receive customer service if there was another problem with my ticket.

    I purchased 5 VIP tickets to Nickelback's Canada Day celebration for Jul 1, 2022 in Vancouver and paid almost $2000. The concert was cancelled last minute and it's been nearly a year and still no response from Vivid Seats about ticket refunds - they continue to claim it's not their responsibility, but it should be!! The seller of the tickets should not be given the funds from reselling the tickets, until the event happens!!! This should be a policy to protect all involved, including Vivid, otherwise, there is no recourse for the buyer.

    As the company facilitating these ticket exchanges, they have an obligation to the consumer to protect their interests. Since day 1, I've been getting the run-around from Vivid's customer service department and they have done nothing but completely avoid responsibility. I have spoken to 4 agents so far that have told me to "send an email" to the customer support department, which I have done, and in each case, the email is either unresponded to or the response indicates they are not responsible to help. Utter garbage - worst company ever. Buyer beware, do not EVER buy tickets from this company. Biggest scalper scam going. Get the message out, this company is crooked.

    I purchased tickets to professional bowl riding through them. I was told upon purchase that I would receive my tickets via email. Tonight was the event I had still not received my tickets. I went to the event and hoped that my tickets would arrive in my email. They never did. Upon arrival and my tickets not showing up I then called Vivid Seats. They told me my tickets were sent on April Thirteenth. I checked all of my emails and they were not there. I also use the Vivid Seats app to see if my tickets would be in there. No tickets. They then proceeded to tell me that it must be a firewall issue. Is the reason that I did not get my tickets.

    The customer service agent refused to transfer me to a supervisor. And also told me that they do not guarantee their tickets. They can tell you that your tickets were sent and that is their guarantee. I am now out over ninety dollars. Stood in the freezing cold with my ten month old son trying to attend this event. Vivid seats is terrible and they scammed me for my money and refuse to guarantee their services. I do not recommend them to anybody so buyer beware. Do not use vivid Seats.

    So let me elaborate: One guy said he said they have tried to contact seller, but he is not getting back to them. Another person said why would it say 5pm that is not when there is a concert. That it should be fixed. Another lady said they sent a bunch of tickets out like that, but they are legit. Now they are saying it’s because that is when we can enter the building. That is not true. I have been to many concerts and the time of the concert is always when it starts not when you can enter the building.

    Also I know others that have tickets from another site that is day 7pm on their ticket. I have read so many terrible reviews of people going to concerts and not having legit tickets. Every time I call Fenway park to see about these tickets I wait on hold for a long time for a broker from Miami to say they can’t help and rudely slam the phone down. I have to drive 9 hours to get to this concert. Nothing has been resolved so to say I have nothing to worry about is bull! I want to make sure driving for 9 hours I can get in to this concert! It is really sketchy for sure.

    STAY AWAY!!!! Very dishonest business practices. The Vivid Seats website states that the company “is committed to honoring the prices that they set.” A complete LIE!!! Vivid seats added an extra $126.52. to my final bill without explanation or a breakdown of the charges. Vivid seats customer service is useless. They just regurgitate policy without explaining why $126.52 was added to the final charge. For example, if you purchase two tickets for $201.00, as soon as you press confirm the final charge will be $528.52. STAY AWAY FROM VIVIDSEATS.     Ordered two tickets on their website and chose the digital option and downloaded their app so I could present my tickets on my phone when I arrived. Maybe things would've been different if I opted for physical tickets, who knows, but I have my doubts now. About two weeks later we received an email notification that we could accept our tickets. Not sure what takes so long there, but oh well. Seemed fairly normal. Ticket prices were ok and they offered a seemingly good deal on an insurance coverage through a company called Allianz which is supposed to cover things like if you get sick and can't make it to the show, etc. We opted to include the insurance since it seemed cheap at $15 extra on top of the ticket price.

    Come day of the show, after driving 2.5 hrs in the rain, we get to the box office and no way that I tried would load my tickets. I ended up having to buy two additional tickets at the box office since they couldn't help me there and Vivid offered no insight on what happened. On top of that the headliner for the show cancelled so we wasted a bunch of time, effort, and money for nothing. That night I contacted Vivid via chat and email and waited 'til the next morning to hear back, only for them to tell me they couldn't refund me but the tickets may be transferrable to a future show and referred me to contact Allianz to get my $15 back for the insurance fee.

    After all of this, I didn't trust them enough to handle anything like a refund or even trust that they had my tickets for a future date at all, so I contacted my credit card company who is pursuing getting the money back from them and have already credited my account for the amount Vivid and Allianz charged and didn't deliver on. BEWARE.

    Spent $$$ for The Cure tix. After I purchased I received an email stating the delivery method had changed, and that I now have to meet the seller the day of the event at the Hollywood Bowl to get my tickets. I would never have agreed to this and Customer Service offers no help. Other reviewers state tix are often resold and seller never shows-up and they miss the concert. Vivid will only offer a refund if the seller doesn't show up but what about travel expenses and other costs? And what about the missed concert that I have been wanting to see since before Covid? Those are not covered.

    So now I am worried I will miss the show. I was given misrepresentations to get me to purchase, and then they changed the delivery method. I have emails to confirm this. Today I contacted Customer Service again, they looked into it and confirmed that for sure I have to meet the seller at the venue the day of the event. I asked how I am s supposed to find the seller, and they stated I will receive a detailed email THE DAY OF THE EVENT with instructions on how to find the seller. What if the seller finds someone to buy at a higher price and doesn't show up? What if the seller is late or has car trouble? A refund won't cover travel expenses or missed work. I am attaching the email I received stating the delivery method had changed to Special Delivery. If I receive my tickets in advance rather than the day of the show, as I was originally told and represented, I will remove this review.

    Buyer Beware: I purchased 3 tickets to a college lacrosse game in RI and received tickets that state $15 per ticket on each one. Vividseats charged me $98.73. I called Vividseats customer service and was advised that they charge the estimated value of the tickets plus tax (of course) plus a $20 surcharge and refused to assist in any way. No offer or agreement to a credit for the ticket price difference. This was my first and last time using this company. Look anywhere else for tickets to avoid being robbed and unassisted.

    I bought tickets for a concert that was rescheduled for 11 months from now through no fault of the company or performers. I wanted my money back. I called them and was informed that a refund is not possible. I cannot plan one year from now in which the tickets will be honored. My issue is that I bought tickets for an event (a product). The “product” was for a performer on a specific date. Now, they change part of that product I no longer want. This caveat about rescheduling is deeply imbedded in the Terms and Agreements. As I am a retired person I am not well-versed in the internet’s vicissitudes. I should have checked their rating on the BBB. I feel taken advantaged of. Let the buyer beware!

    Run from these guys!! I bought tickets on March 16th for a concert in Las Vegas on April 1st. Everything going fine until I get an email from Vivid telling me to find an email sent yesterday, earlier than the email they just sent me. Nothing. Call Vivid customer service... On phone over an hour while we go thru troubleshooting on the Ticketmaster and AXS websites, then waiting while they escalate the call and reach out to the seller, and get response from seller that they will resend again...

    NOW repeat that scenario 3 more times with same results. No tickets, no email from sender...nothing. Last call agent was working mobile and her family was making rude comments about me because I was angry I didn't get my tickets when promised. Apparently they thought Americans only speak English!!! Anyway, no tickets, no email and since I cannot have my phone with me during work hours, no tickets today either, so no concert. Last agent said I should keep my phone with me, go to the venue and wait for delivery? NO! I was promised delivery March 31st and they didn't. I want a full refund.

    I got a good price on 3rd row tickets that I was able to purchase during pre-sale a couple days before they went on sale to the general public (5 months before the event). I was sent an email saying the tickets were "confirmed" but that they would be sent digitally the day before the event. I found this odd. A couple days later the tickets went on sale to the general public. I looked up my seats on Ticketmaster and found they were still for sale. I knew mine were still for sale because I bought 4 tickets in a row of 6 and all 6 were still for sale (even though Vivid Seats only confirms the row). I called them and they repeatedly insisted it was a visual glitch and that my seats were confirmed.

    The day before the event they then notified me that my seats were not available. They attempted to lie and tell me that someone else bought them first (I bought them in pre-sale when 95%+ of seats were still available). They then offered me seats in the backrow. When I complained that this was not a fair exchange for what I had purchased they said no more seats were available and canceled the order. We had plans to travel out of state for the show with our two children, who are very upset now. I strongly suspect that the reseller simply tried to sell the tickets for a higher price after we bought them and had no intention of honoring our purchase unless they could not sell them for more. Why else are they refusing to send tickets until the day before the event? BEWARE! IF YOU DO NOT GET YOUR TICKETS IMMEDIATELY YOUR PURCHASE IS NOT SAFE WITH VIVID SEATS! GET A REFUND AND GET TICKETS ELSEWHERE!

    I have zero respect for companies that poach money from industries full of people struggling to be able to do what they love. This company charged me 4x the amount of the original ticketing price and the illusion of event insurance is also a scam. Needless to say I was unable to recover anything. I wouldn’t mind if I knew this money was going to the bands but this is robbery. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I couldn’t even get the insurance to cover me being relocated to a job in another city. Very ** morals and practices.

    Updated on 03/29/2023: This is a follow-up to a review left yesterday regarding Vivid Seats. It was only after this company read my review describing their practice of selling the same ticket twice did they reach out in a bid to have me take down my review and in exchange, they'd be so generous as to offer me $100 of "promotional credit" to use towards my next purchase with them. It's clear they read my review. It definitively said I would never use them again.

    When this "Customer Service" agent called (I might add that the call came in before 8:00 a.m. this morning -- who does that?) the only thing he had to offer was hush money. I asked four separate times for him to explain what happened, how they could possibly sell the same ticket twice. Instead of an explanation, he side-stepped and dodged that question and lamely said "It's not my department. I can look into that." WHY ARE YOU CALLING AT THE CRACK OF DAWN IF YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED?

    Vivid Seats should understand that sometimes it's just not about the money. People buy tickets for the experience -- in this case, probably a once in a decade experience since this artist NEVER comes to my location. My only chance of seeing him is if I want to fly out of state during his tour. Every single venue in my state is already sold out, as I was willing to drive several hours to his next performance. Vivid Seats just doesn't get it. I will explain again, this time slowly so they understand: don't call people who you've scammed and offer them money to take down their legitimate reviews. That just adds insult to injury. People have a right to know how you operate your business.

    Original Review: Don't. Just don't ever. Purchased the LAST ticket to a sold-out concert. Got confirmation. A day later I received an "urgent" email saying I needed to contact them immediately. When I did, they informed me that they were refunding my money because they'd "oversold" the ticket. When I asked what this meant, they said that they accidentally sold the ticket twice. How is that even possible if it's online sales and they're instantaneous? After feeling confident that I'd secured this ticket, of course I stopped looking any further for tickets. Now as I frantically try to find another ticket, not a single one is available. It literally is completely sold out. This company is a scam. Save yourselves the heartache. After ruining this event for me, I'll be utterly shocked if I actually receive my refund back.

    I bought 4 Indian wells tennis tickets from them. While the tickets did transfer electronically, the tickets literally disappeared as we were about to get through the gate. Called Vivid, and they made me go through whole bunch of hoops (during which time we missed half of the match). Ultimately vivid would not do anything to help me as they said it is now a problem w/ AXS (the original seller of tickets). Called AXS, they said the tickets were cancelled but would not give me further details and told me to go back to vivid. I ended up buying another set of seats to attend the match, but now we’ve lost $680 and missed half of the match. I’m appealing to my credit card company. Hopefully they can help.

    I purchased tickets from Vivid Seats for Women's Country Music Tour at the Grand Ol Opry in Nashville, TN. I bought 5 tickets; had to choose seats which apparently the venue was so popular that I could not even get the seats together and chose 3 seats in one row and 2 seats in another row over 2 transactions - see price I paid ($100 per ticket).

    When I arrived at the Grand Ol Opry, I discovered I had no seats, and that there was not going to be a music performance, but a backstage walking tour--and that tickets could have been purchased for $50 at the door. There were about 14 people there for this tour. I feel I was misled and am requesting a refund of my money immediately. I explained this to a staff member at the Grand Ol Opry and was told they were having many problems with fraudulent ticket sales and to pursue this with Vivid Seats.

    This company is ** AWFUL. NEVER USE THEM! I bought tickets not realizing they were resold because that was not indicated anywhere, and then discovered 2 days later they were resold and had been marked up 3x + insane fees. They won't let me return them even though tickets are now available directly for less than 3x the price I paid. When I called to speak with them they put me on hold AFTER I told them the issue and then came back and said there was nothing they could do. Which is **. So now I'm out $420 for what should have cost more like $150. 1000000% DO NOT RECOMMEND

    Beyond Disappointed: I purchased 4 Phillies spring training tix in January for the March 17th game against Toronto, Email said confirmed, Vivid app said they were on there and the MLB ballpark app said they were on there. I traveled to Clearwater from New Jersey, drove to stadium only to find out when I opened the tickets on my phone all my tickets were rejected! I went to ball park customer service only to be told that my seats were sold to someone else! When I contacted Vivid seats I was told they would put a claim in for me (claim was rejected).

    I emailed proof that the seats were indeed sold to someone else and that my tickets were rejected but they denied me cause they said the seller had proof that the tickets were transferred to me! They didn't care about the proof I sent from both apps and the ball park themselves (ball park emailed me the screenshot of our resold seats). It is true in other reviews that a manager or a rep from the claims department will not talk to you which is very unprofessional!- : Side note Anyone who buys the Allianz insurance for their tickets just a word of advice it does not cover rejected tickets.

    I purchased tickets in February for the Margarita Fest. The tickets were to be transferred to me today, or earlier. Yesterday, I received notice that they were ready for transfer. (from an Australian TicketMaster account for a Missouri event) I still can't accept them. I receive an error each time (multiple times) stating the tickets cannot be transferred at this time. I want a refund and they say they can't refund me. I will be contacting multiple organizations about Vivid Seats and their policies. They say I am buyer protected, yet tell me since the sale occurred they can't do anything about a refund.

    Today was not a good day for me. I was so excited about purchasing a Janet Jackson ticket today. I received an email regarding my purchase, and I called. The rep was nice, I informed her about the email that I received regarding the ticket for Janet Jackson in St. Louis. She informed me that the seller isn't corporate and my ticket needs to be replaced. Everything was done in an orderly way. Once I logged in to receive my e-ticket, the ticket is in was Hollywood, FL. I live in St. Louis, MO. I have been trying to rectify this and no help. I really believe this is a scam.

    I purchased 2 tickets to a concert one evening and called the next morning to cancel. That is not an option and apparently the tickets I 'bought' had to be picked up in person from the seller on the day of the event... Next option was to sell them. They can't even do that! I don't have the tickets and they suggested I Google search ticket sales and take a screenshot of the section (no seat or row) that I am supposed to sell and transfer after I pick them up in person on the day of the event. Bottom line they are a weak middle man and only sell tickets they don't have for a huge fee. With no mechanism to put them back up to sell for a loss. RIP OFF ALERT - I will never use them again.

    This company is an absolute disaster. Buyers be aware that they do not care for their consumers or guarantee their so called “service”. I purchased tickets in November of ‘22 for a show in March of ‘23 in Charleston, SC. The so called tickets never worked from the seller. Long story short, spent numerous hours and approximately eight different phone calls, kept getting the runaround, called them out on their lies, and like other reviewers I was told I couldn’t speak to the manager.

    According to them they fulfilled their service as they “had notification” that the seller transferred the tickets. These tickets came from “Ticketmaster Australia”, yeah sure. They told me to take the Vivid tickets receipts to the box office as this would work, the box office laughed at me and I had to buy new tickets. When I called to ask for a refund they gave me the same runaround. I will never use or recommend this company as they are crooks and is why they have such a bad rating. One would think they would like to resurrect their image, but no.

    I was so disappointed and frustrated by my recent Vivid Seats experience. In early January 2023 I bought mobile tickets to an Arkansas Razorback baseball game on Sunday 3/12/23, 1pm, on Vividseats.com. My game tickets cost several hundred dollars, and we made plans were for a 7-hour, overnight family trip from Louisiana to go watch Louisiana Tech play Arkansas.

    The ticket purchase confirmation email and info on the app listed "expected date of delivery" as 3/8/23. Well, March 8 came and went and no tickets. Then on 3/9/23 the expected date of delivery had changed to 3/9/23. I did a “live chat” with Victor from Vividseats customer service for 15 minutes and explained that I did not want this to fall through the cracks and I get left holding the bag with travel expenses and time. Victor kept saying that maybe the tickets had not been printed or the seller had not yet received the tickets and that I would receive my tickets on time of the event. I told him “it does make me worry” since I already know that the tickets for this game have been out and available for quite some time, and that I truly hope he is correct. He also said that I could reach out to Vividseats again tomorrow (3/10) if the tickets have not yet come.

    On the morning of 3/10 I noted that at 11:08PM on 3/9/23 I received an email stating that my mobile tickets were ready in the app. I felt quite relieved and satisfied...until I opened the Vividseats app and saw that each of the 6 mobile tickets had “Friday, 3/10/23, 3pm game” on them. I immediately called the Vividseats customer service number and spent over 30 minutes talking to Joseph. He looked up my account, asked questions, put me on hold and kept checking back saying he was contacting another department, and on and on.

    Joseph finally said that the tickets I have in my Vividseats app are valid, that the “Friday, 3/10/23, 3pm” is a misprint error, and that my contract with them stated that sometimes there are printing errors. Joseph said it does not matter what is written on the ticket, that the QR code is all that matters, and that he “100% guarantees” that the tickets are valid and will be accepted at the gate. I told Joseph that I was glad he was confident but that I was not. I explained to Joseph that I feared getting to the gate on game day with my family and all geared up for the game only to be declined entrance because our tickets are not valid. Joseph over and over stated “I 100% guarantee that when you scan your tickets everything will be fine.”

    You can already guess how this goes. Our group walks through the metal detectors at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville and gets to the gate where the tickets are denied. The gate attendants attempt to scan the mobile tickets from the app on multiple devices: RED/DENIED ENTRY! The gate attendant sends us to another gate/table where the supervisor says, “Oh, here’s the problem. These tickets were for Friday’s game, not for today’s game.”

    You can probably also imagine how frustrated, angry, and embarrassed I felt. This was the exact scenario that I had tried diligently to avoid. I had anticipated this and called Vividseats customer service 2 days prior to give them an opportunity to fix this, but Joseph the customer service representative lied to me and set me up for one of the more aggravating experiences of my life.

    Of course I had to call Vividseats customer service from the entry line, and spent almost 30 more minutes explaining the situation again and what had happened. The representative did similar to Joseph by gathering information and then kept me on and off hold for almost 30 minutes. I and my family group stood out like were caught shoplifting while I tried AGAIN to resolve our dilemma. At the end of the the 30 minutes the representative said to check my email inbox and behold I immediately received the 6 mobile tickets for the correct game, with the correct date and time printed on them.

    The customer service representative wanted me to act like everything was great. It was not! Even though we finally did get tickets that worked and gained us access to the game minutes before it began, I was extremely disappointed that the Vividseats folks dismissed my early warning about the inevitable problem and created a situation that resulted in enormous stress, anger, and embarrassment for me and my family. This did not have to happen!

    I bought 2 tickets to a concert (Andy Schauf at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on March 3rd), and when I went to the event, Vivid Seats only had sent me one ticket in a pdf. They charged me for both. I tried to download their app, and use the Vivid seats app (instead of website) and even still, the app only let me download a pdf which contained a single ticket. Attempting to view the tickets directly in the app did not work either (again, only one ticket was visible). They suggested that I wasn't swiping (e.g. Up or to the right) or that I wasn't noticing that there were two pages. They insisted that they sent me two tickets.

    They have still not refunded my money, despite their "Guarantee" that customers will have their tickets in time for the event. The whole show was ruined because of this, and I feel that they are not making it right, when I am requesting something very reasonable-- a refund for the ticket that I never received. I would give zero stars if I could. Buy your tickets elsewhere!

    We bought tickets for a concert months ago. VividSeats assured us, 100% guarantee we’d get our tickets before the show. Two days before? Nothing. Reach out to buyer, nothing. Come day of concert, start the three hour drive to the concert while constantly trying to call VividSeats to figure out when we were getting our tickets. They kept stringing us along, guaranteeing them 3.5 hours before the show. Then once that happened, guaranteed 2 hours before the show. Then when that didn’t happen, we’d 100% get them before the show.

    However they kept stating that it was 100% guaranteed and ALSO mentioning they’d refund us if we didn’t get the tickets. How are we supposed to believe this 100% guarantee then? We called five times and they never gave a straight answer. Truly the worst customer service and service in general I’ve ever had the displeasure to be a part of. I will never, ever do a single thing with Vivid Seats and I will make it my life mission to make sure no one else experiences what we did. Forget raising any children, forget my job, exposing Vivid Seats is my main goal.

    This company is a scam, they held themselves out as a licensed seller of tickets until you purchase a ticket and find out they are resellers of scalped tickets. After telling them that I wanted to cancel the sale because it is fraudulent they told me they could not cancel despite it being pending. That being said these tickets cost me 3x as much as directly purchasing from Off The Hook comedy club. I suggest never doing business with them.

    Ordered tickets for Gary Allan concert last September. Promised by 2/23. First received an e-mail asking me to call because there was an issue. The issue was they didn’t have the tickets, but had 2 close by. These were special seats, including dinner and first 2 rows on the dirt. VIVID CONFIRMED THE TICKETS IN A DIRECT E-MAIL AFTER MY CALL. When the tickets never came, I contacted Vivid repeatedly. Could never get the tickets. They offered “replacements,” which were inferior and DID NOT include the dinner and up-front concert seating. SO basically, they lied in the e-mail, and lied that “replacements” were offered. They refunded, but I am out 2 nights for the hotel. HORRIBLE experience. Suggest you use another ticket broker.

    I purchased tickets well in advance and the tickets weren't cheap. Their transfer process never worked on my end and never once did they come up with a better solutions to get my tickets. Needless to say, I never got them, missed the show (wife's birthday gift) and didn't get a nickel back. I'm very disappointed in Vivid Seats.     I used their site this morning to purchase two tickets to a show. It asked how many tickets I wanted which I selected two. It told me the section of the tickets but not the exact seat numbers. Nowhere on their site did it say that these two tickets wouldn't be next to each other. After all, I selected that I wanted "2" tickets not "1". It wasn't until I purchased the tickets and they were transferred that the tickets show different rows with the same seat number. I had to call to verify that these seats are in fact in different rows one behind the other. I was told that I should have known that by this note that was listed:

    "Notes

    xfer Piggyback. Please note that you will need to use an iOS or Android mobile device to gain entry to your event."

    How is one supposed to know that xfer Piggyback means your tickets aren't together? I thought maybe that was the seller. They won't refund me or get me two tickets together. Now I overpaid for two single tickets because they are maliciously scamming people vs. just selling those tickets as single tickets.

    TLDR: They don’t allow order cancels if you make a mistake and won’t do anything to help you if you need to sell the tickets you bought forward after you reviewed seats on different sides of the stadium. I’ve only purchased tickets from this site twice. The second time was one of my worst experiences trying to buy event tickets.

    I attempted to purchase regular GA tickets for the upcoming Fall Out Boy concert in Virginia Beach and after check out realized there was only one ticket when I KNOW I set the purchase number to two. I quickly realized my mistake and went to cancel my order but I guess they don’t believe in allowing buyers to cancel orders. So I quickly attempted to purchase another ticket. Well they sold me another ticket on the other side of the stadium away from my partner when I know I slowed down to make sure we at least got the same section. Couldn’t cancel that ticket either. I tried not to trip thinking I could sell them forward.

    Well my tickets were an e-transfer from one of their professional scalpers and I cannot sell these tickets on any reputable site because most reputable sites don’t allow e-transfer tickets. Customer service told me they will not help me because I already “accepted” the tickets. I wasn’t sure what that meant and they informed me that by clicking “view tickets” on the email they sent me to confirm my purchase I had accepted the tickets. When asking if they would help me resale the tickets they told me that they could not as they would not sell e-transfer tickets (but they allowed someone to sell them to me). Now I am stuck with two way overpriced tickets for a concert I will not be able to enjoy with the person I wanted to go with. The sale of these tickets even violates Virginia state code which states:

    “§ 59.1-466.6. Ticket resale limitations; prohibition; exception.

    A. No person that issues tickets for admission to an event shall issue any such ticket solely through a delivery method that substantially PREVENTS the PURCHASER of the ticket FROM LAWFULLY reselling the ticket on the Internet ticketing platform of the ticket PURCHASER’S CHOICE.”

    Their response to me letting them know that was “well you can sell the tickets to your friends or family so we aren’t breaking the law. The tickets are yours now to you have to figure out what to do”. My hatred for this company will never end and I will tell anyone and everyone that will listen about this. For the love of whatever deity you believe in DO NOT BUY EVENT TICKETS FROM THIS SITE. Just go through Ticketmaster or the event website directly.

    My father bought a couple tickets on this website not knowing it was a complete scam. The Gypsy band was cancelled, therefore he should have received his money back not including the fact he also bought insurance. After several frustrating calls to Vivid Seats they claim they did not get notification the concert was cancelled and would not refund my father, who is a cardiac patient know less.

    I then called so my father would no longer get upset and I got the same spiel. I told them to do their job and call the concert site which you can clearly see on the theater’s website it was cancelled as well. Norman said he confirmed the concert was cancelled but now they need the event organizer from Gypsy to confirm as well but are not getting a response. I said this is absolutely absurd. This is ongoing for weeks with my father and vivid seats….I asked who the event organizer was, "I’m sorry ma’am I do not have a name." I was like they have no name ok, what is their phone number, "I’m sorry ma’am they do not have a phone number, just a chat and not responding." So let me get this straight, vivid seats does business with someone who has no name or phone number? This has to be a joke. "Sorry ma’am until we hear back nothing I can do." How absurd is this. Vivid seats are nothing but scam artists. They need to be looked into.

    I have been going to concerts and buying tickets my whole life and have never heard such lies. This is how you treat your customers. Absolutely disgusting and appalling. They refuse to let you speak to a supervisor claiming they are the senior tech escalation team. It’s unfortunate how many dishonest people are out there. Please do me a favor and never use vivid seats. Go to a reliable website who actually appreciates and handles situations professionally with their customers.     Vivid Seats informed me tickets were transferred, however, I never received an email from the seller nor a notification to accept the tickets in my Ticketmaster account. Vivid Seats informed me the transfer would take place within Ticketmaster. I contacted customer service the day of the event and they stated "Since we are able to troubleshoot and confirm that tickets are not able to be located, we will be submitting a request for a retransfer. However, I would just like to let you know that this is still not guaranteed and may take some time as this has to be confirmed by the seller."

    The tickets were never transferred to my email nor my Ticketmaster account. I showed proof that my Ticketmaster account did not show the pending transfer nor any scheduled events. Vivid Seats customer service would not refund my money even with all of this documented. When I called to speak with a real person, they stated they cannot issue the refund nor escalate further. Customer Service put me on hold to only come back 5 minutes later to say cannot help and hung up on before I could comment. I lost $296 on this transaction. People should not use Vivid Seats to purchase tickets as there is no guarantee the tickets will actually be received.

    Do not try to sell a ticket on Vivid Seats!! We sold four tickets per the instructions on the Vivid Seats email and were told everything was done correctly on our part. Three days later after the event had already started, we received an email saying something went wrong. We called again and they said everything on our part was correct. Fast-forward to yesterday, they are saying they gave the four tickets to the people for free and are now charging us an additional almost 3 thousand dollars for not completing the sale correctly. Shouldn't they have told us something went wrong far before the event and not after it already started and after we had confirmed we did everything correctly?

    I contacted CS because I cannot access my tickets via the website and they were never emailed to me. I paid $342 for 2 tickets to an event. Paul, the service rep, refused 4 times to connect me to a supervisor. He told me my only option is to borrow someone else’s smartphone and download the app. I refuse to download an app to access tickets that were supposed to be emailed to me. False advertising, because there is no way to get the tickets unless you download the app. They are not really emailed. I will be disputing this charge with my bank because The tickets were never delivered to me. Don’t do it. Go to a reputable site that doesn’t for customers to download apps.

    I purchased 2 tickets for a Steve Harvey Vault Empowers conference in 2021 that was canceled. Unbeknownst to me the event had actually been canceled before I purchased the tickets from Vivid Seats and they still let me buy them. I was trying to use a credit from a Billie Eilish concert that was expiring so I was searching on Vivid Seats for something of interest. Not only did I use my 600 dollar credit I paid additional money for another ticket both totaling over $1000. I have reached out to Vivid Seats numerous times and Vault Empowers has reached out to them as well. Yet they refuse to even issue me a credit for an event that was supposed to take place now 2 years ago. I only get a canned email response that says the event is postponed and not canceled.

    They sold me tickets to the Fiesta Bowl that obstructs seeing the entire field in which they did not disclose at the time of ordering.     This is the biggest scam known to man...if you've ever wondered how to make $500 disappear from your bank account faster than anything and get nothing but the runaround in return, buy from Vivid Seats! I bought the tickets online and allegedly the seller transferred them, but I never got them. After spending hours on chat and on the phone with customer service reps who cannot communicate and after being hung up on numerous times, Vivid CHEATS told me they had evidence the seller transferred the tickets but could not tell me what that was so that I could pursue the tickets through the seller's broker (Ticketmaster). I had no choice but to put in a dispute with PayPal, who rejected it. I didn't get to go to the concert and spent $500 for nothing. DO NOT USE VIVID SEATS. JUST DON'T. This is an extremely common ploy--all you have to do is search the forums on FB to see the scam.

    I purchased tickets for the UCLA vs Arizona State football game and wound up with seats that were completely blocked by a stairway. We were unable to have a clear view of the entire football field. In addition, constantly people would come up the stairway and stand directly in front of us. When people were asked to move it would start heated arguments. In over 60 years of attending football games, it was the worst experience of my life. I have asked and written Vivid Seats to request a refund for the tickets and even sent them photos showing how the view was blocked and they refuse to refund anything. Terrible company and I will never do business with them again.

    This company is the ultimate scammers. I ordered 100 level seats in the spring for the Seahawks regular season. I had zero correspondence until days before the September game even after requests from the company prior. Two days before the game, I was sent tickets for the cheapest seats in the entire stadium. Our backs were against the concrete wall in the last row of the stadium. This reseller is as crooked as they come! I have all correspondence proof should anyone care to see it.

    I purchased a parking ticket for a football game at SoFi stadium. I notice days before the game that the pass had no bar code. I called Vivid Seats with my concern and was to that since the ticket said my license plate was verification and I did not even need to speak to an attendant. When I arrived I couldn't even get into the structure without talking to an attendant. The attendant said that there must be a bar code or QR code and that the ticket I had purchased would not be accepted. I had to purchase another one on-site. I again contacted Vivid Seats.

    I was told in a rude manner that I needed to prove my case to have a refund considered. To my surprise I was told that after investigation I would not be refunded. I once again showed more proof after another unprofessional conversation with their support team and once again was told too bad and would not be refunded. After all of this I also noticed that they had charged almost double of the cost of the ticket. I ended up paying a total of $145.00 to park for 4 hrs. I would recommend staying very far away from this horrible scam of a company!

    DO NOT USE VIVID SEATS for ANYTHING whatsoever!! Vivid Seats sold me the wrong tickets to the Army/Navy Football Game, ‘22!!! I had two phone conversations with a “salesperson” CHRIS **, and on September 1st, I ordered 4 tickets (for nearly $2,000.00) to sit on NAVY’s side. I spoke about my son, a Midshipman at the Naval Academy, and CHRIS ** and I discussed where in the stands that the Midshipmen would be placed and our attempt was to be seated up from them or nearby.

    Our section was supposed to be the section just ABOVE the Midshipmen. NO, the extremely expensive tickets were NOWHERE NEAR the Midshipmen! In fact, the tickets were in the Upper Level on ARMY’s side!!!! I did NOT know this because VIVID SEATS, CHRIS ** (ext #**) and their little booky and “ticket scalper/seller” REFUSED to transfer the tickets to me until ONE WEEK before the game, which was NOW sold out!!! THIS is when I discovered that the TICKETS were on ARMY’s side, NOT Navy’s side, as per my REQUEST!

    I contacted VIVID SEATS IMMEDIATELY!!! An investigation was set up because a SUPERVISOR heard at the very beginning of my phone call to CHRIS **, MY REQUEST for NAVY SEATS/TICKETS. For the rest of the week, VIVID SEATS lied and said they would call or email with RESOLVE and SOLUTIONS, but they did NOT!! THIS CHARADE continued until one MINUTE before having to walk through the gates with my family because we were ALREADY LATE due to VS’s LYING!!!! They are THIEVES and LIARS! CONS!

    I bought a parking ticket on their website and they said it was delivered. They couldn't confirm that it was delivered although they said that the person that sold them the tickets delivered it to me. I wanted proof from them.     I purchased tickets from Vivid Seats through Groupon. I picked the section I wanted and paid for them. After the sale the tickets came from Vivid seats and they were NOT the section I wanted or paid for. I got tickets in the Balcony all the way to the ceiling of the arena. I paid way more money for mezzanine level. I contacted Groupon who told me to contact Vivid seats who then told me, "TOO BAD FOR YOU. NO REFUNDS!!!!" I was RIPPED OFF!!! I clicked on the link sent to retrieve tickets and got a message saying cannot sign in with that email address. Had multiple chats with Vivid Seats to no avail. I called and spoke to someone at vivid seats and again to no avail. It looks like the seller sent hockey tickets that cannot be retrieved. The Jeff Dunham show is on Jan 27, 2033 and there is no hockey game at home or away that night. I told vivid seats that I've been scammed and asked for a refund.     My husband purchased tickets for the Michigan game in Ann Arbor for Sept 24th 2022 game. Tickets were over $1,000 with insurance. We booked a hotel in Chelsea, MI for Friday night so we didn’t have to travel as far for Saturday's game. We traveled about 3 hours to Chelsea and made it into town late Friday night. As we arrived into town, our brake lines blew we had absolutely no brakes in our vehicle. We tried for hours to make contact with towing companies, parts stores, etc to get the brake lines fixed but had no luck. Saturday morning, early, my husband and father in law walked a half mile to the closest parts store to get parts to the fix the brake lines in the parking lot of our hotel. By time we were able to get the vehicle fixed, we had already missed the game. We looked into renting a vehicle but every rental company said we would need to bring the vehicle back to Ann Arbor (a 3.5 hour drive for us) Monday.

    My husband contacted Vivid Seats and notified them of the situation and that we would not be able to attend the game. We were then told the insurance we purchased for the tickets would cover our cost for the tickets. We sent in receipts from the parts store in Chelsea and also the bill from when we got back home and had to take the vehicle back in for more work. They are now refusing to pay back what we paid in tickets because we cannot give them a receipt for a towing company (because we couldn’t get a towing company) Friday Sept 23rd. We are now out over $1,000 just in ticket prices for a game we were never able to go to. We will never use vivid seats again. Their insurance coverage is an absolute joke. 10/10 do not recommend.

On 11/01, the day tix were to be delivered, was sent a Message that I could not have my seats as purchased (Row M) but would receive others on Row Y. (next section over). Ticket agent said the new ticket offer was a downgrade from my original tickets. Compensation/price adjustment was refused by seller. Vividseats said I could cancel the order or be given even worse tickets. Ticket prices have gone up and seats are very scarce so we got scammed.     A couple months ago, I purchased 2 tickets to the muse concert on 10/11/22. Fast forward to 10/11/22, I have the AXS app downloaded and I’m logged in with the same email that ordered the tickets. There are no tickets showing on the app at 6pm and the concert starts at 730pm even though I have a confirmation number for my order stating they’ve been delivered. I start by contacting AXS— AXS tells me this is an issue on Vivid Seats end and they can’t even see the tickets. So I call vivid seats and end up being on the phone for 27 minutes with the first rep who is unable to troubleshoot my tickets to the AXS app.

    We end up getting disconnected so I have to start this conversation over with another rep who I end up talking to for over 1 hour (I have the call logs to prove the time this took and my wife recorded the entire ridiculous phone call). By the time 730 rolled around the concert was starting and I still didn’t have my tickets and my wife and I were just waiting in the parking lot. At first I requested a full refund because vivid seats failed to deliver the tickets but they said that they are not responsible because it’s the seller’s job to deliver the tickets. So I asked what exactly does vivid seats do if not ensure the safe delivery of tickets and why did I pay such insane fees to vivid seats if those tickets were never delivered to me?

    745 (concert started 730) rolls around and the seller finally resends the tickets to a different email which works on the AXS app. At this point we ask for a refund on the fees alone because vivid seats failed safe delivery of the tickets in a timely manner which was repeatedly declined. So we leave the parking lot and finally get to the concert at 830 (we’re way in the back and can’t see anything in GA and we missed the entire Evanescence set). What a miserable experience buying from vivid seats. I do not recommend them to ANYONE and I will make sure none of my family or friends ever have to suffer through an experience like this.

    The tickets I bought were posted before they were even on sale, they were more expensive than originally posted, and Vivid Seats added $100 processing fee on top of that. When I realized all this. It was already too late. Vivid Seats wouldn't refund/cancel the sale and recommended reselling the tickets on their site instead. Ticket Master isn't much better but at least they're upfront when they rip you off.

    Bought tickets to a sporting event Tickets were promised for 2 days before, 1 day before then the morning of the event Tickets finally arrived 4 hours after the event started Customer service was awful - customer service people were not from US but said they lived in Chicago - asked them for best deep dish pizza and their script clearly did not have those answers. Getting refund was impossible so credit card got it for me. Next time I am going back to Stubhub for my tickets.

In a moment of insanity and excitement about seeing this new show, I stupidly placed an order with Vivid Seats for a total of $1376.37 on the 3 tickets I ordered for April 15 2pm tickets to Tina The Musical at Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT. I quickly realized my error and messaged Vivid Seats to cancel. I could not get through to Vivid Seats; they said they had no record of my order. So I filed a charge dispute with my credit card company Capital One. According to my friend who I plan to travel with to see this show, this is what the venue Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT had to say about this order when she called to verify the availability and true cost of tickets for this show: "I hate to tell you this but I think you got scammed."

    I called the Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell box office today and they assured me that there were no Tina tickets on sale yet at any vendor. She said the only tickets that had already sold were those where people do the seasons tickets to go to all the shows which is around 10 a year. She said there are plenty of tickets outside of that and that they do not go on sale until November 18. She said, "You might have to call your credit card company to put a stop in your charges if that is how you paid." She also said the tickets were more along the lines of a little over $100 dollars each (not the $475/each I paid). She also said, "You wouldn't believe how much of this stuff is going on right now." Since CapOne filed the dispute, VividSeats emailed me to say it is unlikely I will received a refund and that if I do it will take 6 to 8 weeks. Again...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VIVID SEATS!

    After reading review about Vivid Seats I was extremely skeptical but decided to take my chance anyway because they had the cheapest tickets for The Judd's Final Tour in Lexington, KY. The tickets I purchases were only $35.00 a piece after fees and taxes, the same tickets on Ticketmaster were listed for $170.00 a piece after fees and taxes. I received a link to claim my tickets within 5 minutes of purchasing and was able to transfer the tickets to my Ticketmaster account. I highly recommend purchasing tickets from a verified seller on Vivid Seats.

    I had purchased tickets on here. Every time I clicked on the link to accept the tickets I would getting this screen that said forbidden. I called customer service explaining the issue, asking for a refund or site credit because the tickets were for that day and I wasn’t able to use it. I spoke to uncountable people and they all told me that I can’t get refund or credit because they have proof that I received the email to accept the tickets. I explained to them that was never the issue. The issue was that I could not accept the tickets. They continued to refuse so I ended up losing out on money for tickets that I purchased but was unable to access. They have the worst customer service ever. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

    BUYER BEWARE: We bought tickets and ticket insurance from VividSeats.com for a Jimmy Eat World show on Saturday September 24th in Providence RI. I got the tickets for my son because he is a huge fan! The day of the show, I drove 4 hours and checked into my hotel, which meant that I had to pay for it regardless, and got to the venue just to see a sign on the door that the even was postponed. Vivid Seats didn't email us to notify us about the postponement until 11 MINUTES before the doors were supposed to open. I bought the ticket insurance through the offer on Vivid Seat's website but postponements are not covered under it. Vivid Seats will not refund me either because it's postponed and not canceled. Rescheduling from a Saturday to a Thursday makes it impossible for us to make it to the show, with the 4 hour drive, as I can not take off from work. Now we are out over $300 and he won't get to see the show. This is so wrong!!

Starting 7 hours prior to event started communicating with customer service about non-delivery of tickets.     I went on Vivid seats for the first time to buy Raiders Tickets and I should have stuck with my gut and bought through Ticketmaster, but I decided to try to save money on fees, which was a HUGE mistake. The tickets were $188 advertised (each) and after fees - which were not disclosed until the receipt came in my email after wards, that I paid over $500 for these two tickets and then with the exchange rate it costs me $691 for two tickets that were advertised for $188 - I called in to talk to them and they said "Tough luck" and to try to resell them on their website, which was completely unprofessional, as they do not disclose their fees at the time of the sale. I would highly recommend to avoid using this company and stick with ticketmaster, even though their fees are high, but you know what you're paying ahead of time.

    At no point, including now, they will NOT let me speak to a manager, or anyone who can actually help/listen to me and make change. This is literally the only company I've ever encountered that, as a rule, doesn't let customers talk to a manager. ever. Their "guarantee" is not a real guarantee. The day of the concert (for my wife's birthday) I still didn't have my tickets. All day, including an hour prior to the concert, they "guaranteed" that I'd have my tickets. They had me drive to the venue. Nothing. No call. No email. And no tickets. I understand that things/plans can go wrong.     Zero stars, they do not have the tickets they are selling. They are a third party that will give you every excuse under the sun as to why they do not have your tickets. You cannot find out who the original seller is to contact them, you cannot talk to a manager, they will tell you to contact them 2 hours before the event if you still have not received your tickets putting you in a position to miss out on front row (for standing room only) not being able to have time to buy merchandise, or flat out missing the concert because you are screwing around with customer service. They will refund you the money, but you missed the concert. All of the negative reviews sadly are 100% accurate. Use Ticketmaster and pay the extra to actually have tickets.

    Bought tickets for the cats vs Griz game for my wife’s birthday MONTHS before the game… Originally got each ticket for $33. Vivid seats made a mistake and sold me tickets that were already sold. They then reached out to me months after I bought them to tell me that they messed up and don’t have my tickets. Now the tickets are 4 times as expensive and they will only give me a refund… not give me other tickets.

    Purchased tickets to a MLB game and traveled to the city for a celebration as we lived in a different state. When we tried to follow the link to accept the tickets, we would get an error. So we never got the tickets. We called customer support and they were initially helpful by trying to retransmit the tickets and told to try again later.     The absolute WORST company that I have ever tried to work with in buying concert tickets!! The customer service is horrible, and they make all kinds of empty promises just to try to convince you not to cancel your order, even when it is readily apparent that you will NOT receive your tickets as scheduled or as requested. They refused to send me my tickets electronically or via email after they had been mailed to the wrong address, claiming that the tickets had to be physical tickets, even though the initial email that I got from them confirming the purchase of the tickets said that they would be "special delivery" and that I would receive the tickets electronically to show on my mobile device.

    When I received an email telling me that the tickets had been mailed to me at the wrong address, I called them immediately, but they refused to do anything substantial to resolve the issue and refused to send the tickets to me electronically or have them left at will call for me. Overall, the fees are way too high, their customer service is nothing better than totally useless, and their "100% guarantee" is complete and utter nonsense.     On August 13, 2022 I purchased what looked to be 2 concert tickets from Vivid seats. On the site it was listed as "FAST-4GA Row:GA". When buying tickets GA means general admission so there is no seat number so it is inferring they are tickets. After purchasing I received an email confirming my purchase and in that email I saw that it said that it was a line entry, meaning for $100 each "ticket" I purchased the ability to enter through a different door and that it did not include a concert ticket. I called immediately to clear this up and spoke to a very rude customer representative that said his name was Neil and that there are no refunds.

    I feel that this was very deceptive marketing as the title for the purchase should be listed as FAST PASS LANE ENTRY- NOT A TICKET since that is what it is. The original ticket price is $42.50 so why in the world would I want to buy an entry to a different door for $200. Very deceptive and unfair marketing. They refuse to refund my money or give credit towards tickets. Their BBB rating is one star with 5,000 complaints. I made a case through BBB and Vivid Seats responded by saying it was list as FAST LANE entry when it was not. It was listed as FAST-4GA Row:GA, there should not have been a section and row. This is like buying coat check for $200. I will never purchase from them again.

    Bought 6 tickets to a concert at Fenway. Paid a large premium for the seats. Vivid sent us the tickets 6 days before the concert. Showed up at the concert and the tickets were invalid. We weren't allowed in. Called Vivid and there was nothing they could do. Had paid for a limo and dinner and then had to go home. It's been over 3 weeks and Vivid won't refund our money.     I have purchased 15 tickets through VividSeats. I ran into a problem when trying to sell one and reached out to customer service. Both representatives I talked to, especially Zannie, were extremely rude using phrases such as "as I already explained" with very little explanation on anything. I had to continuously ask for clarification with very little input. The conversation was ended prior to even having a question answered. Come to find out, the customer service representative was not even correct in answering my questions and I lost out on even more money. I had to talk to several other people with no resolution up to date. VividSeats sometimes has okay prices but definitely double check prices as my last two tickets were $70 more than other sites.     Vivid seats offers tickets to events, much like ticket masters etc. The issue is they don't back up what they sell. Despite a "guarantee". We went to the Rockzilla concert tonight and one of the bands didn't show as they had a positive covid test. The vendor said refunds would be available so we went out to get refunded and because we purchased our tickets through vivid seats, we couldn't get refunded. So we contacted vivid seats and because the entire show wasn't canceled we could not get refunded. And because we left the concert itself to get said refunds, we were not allowed back in. So we missed the rest of the show and couldn't get refunded like everyone else. Don't use this company. They are liars and thieves.

    Consumer Affairs, please reconsider your recommendation that Vivid Seats is a legitimate company. There are numerous complaints here, on the Better Business Bureau, and social media on how this company scams people out of money. I purchased tickets to a concert in January 2022 and the company claimed the 3rd party seller sent me the tickets at the end of July. A thorough search of my email (junk and trash included) proved otherwise. Long story short, but I contacted the company numerous times over the course of several days and was outright lied to at least five times (I have screenshots). For example, they promised the tickets within one business day multiple times and never delivered. The concert is in less than 24 hours- I arranged for travel, a hotel, babysitter, taking off work, etc in addition to paying for the tickets in full and I still don’t have them in my possession.

    It is well known that Vivid Seats is going through many lawsuits for their bad business practices, but considering how much money they make scamming people through things like this, or rescheduling concerts two years later and refusing to refund the money (sadly this happened to me as well), the lawsuits are a drop in the bucket to them. How can a company like this exist? How can they get away with this? More importantly, how can you, Consumer Affairs, continue to recommend them to customers?

    Purchased tickets for concert in Resorts World Vegas. Was instructed to download an app called AXS and was told that it will have my tickets. Arrived at the venue, the AXS app allowed me to get in the door but when they were looking for the ticket, they couldn’t find it in my AXS app. Resorts world staff had to connect me to their wifi to access info on my app but no avail. At this time, the show has already started and we were refused entry. It was so frustrating coz we drove to Vegas for the show and secured our hotel rooms too, only to miss the show.

    When I called customer service, the first guy was so rude that he didn’t even want to hear me out. He kept on saying they transferred the tix to the AXS app and it should be there. I kept on telling him that it wasn’t there and he kept on saying it is my problem coz the internet is poor. The venue staff helped me connect to their wifi and they navigated my AXS app to see the tix but unsuccessful. Customer service #2 said she will send me a form to formally put in my grievance and resolution will be done in 3-5 days so impt for me to complete the form. No form was sent despite me following up 2x.

    After several days, got an email that their investigation showed they transferred the tix to me so they won’t do anything about this. With that said, Vivid Seats is basically telling me that my concern is not real. Therefore, I challenge Vivid seats to prove to me that Resorts World scanned the seats vivid seats sold me and that I went in to see the show. To this date, my AXS account is not showing purchase history! It’s my first time using vivid seats and this is my experience. I will never use it again and I will tell everyone in my circle to stay away from them.

    Contacted customer support due not receiving the email for the ticket transfer. The female agent I spoke with insisted on I received the email and repeated stated information unrelated to my concern. She then continued to say she was attempting to help yet she stalled and was argumentative. When I asked for the supervisor she refused and caused me to be late for the game and the email as of 1:49 pm cst has still not have been received. The second representative stated I needed to create an account with another app using my email and then verify myself again after verifying my information several writhing 7 minutes on two separate calls. Not to mention that stated my order was verified and was showing. It was if they were loading my information in an alternate system.

    To keep asking me for details that had in front and standing outside in this desert heat and as so upsetting. The female representative then stated well I’m in the escalation team in efforts to get another support person and she refused to transfer me. I’m never utilized this crappy site and poor customer service system and service again. Stay away from this dishonest company.

    After purchasing an expensive set of tickets in 2020, finally concert rescheduled for 2022 - The day of the week and time changed, my entire situation has changed, and I can no longer attend. I was told for months I could sell, however couldn't sell because the tickets were not available to me. There is no way to sell them, and I was told that the venue hadn't released them but once released I would have the option to list for sale. I called the venue - they have nothing in my name, no tickets have been transferred or purchased although I paid for these 2 years ago. I cannot get Vivid Seats to tell me my seat numbers NOR will they refund me, all I have is the row number. I have called over and over, chatted online and all they do is read a script. The customer service team is ALL foreign and accent speaking very very hard to understand.

    I was assured over and over my tickets would be displayed in my app on 8.11.22. I have screenshots of the chat and the app. It is 11:36 am on 8/12/22 and I have no tickets. I was just told by their scripted customer service who refuses to get me to management that I would have these tickets on 8/14/22 and WHILE ON the phone with them I miraculously got an email stating that I would have them 8.14.22 but THE CONCERT IS 4:30 on 8.14.22!!! He told me I would have them no later than 2 hours before the concert - um no sir - I live 6 hours away and cannot wait until 2 hours before (even though for over a year I was assured I would have them 8.11.22) ALL I WANT IS A REFUND - I have wasted over 100 hours on phone and chat... Please stop scamming people!

    We purchased a parking pass for the Billy Joel Concert in Pittsburgh using Vivid Seats. There are a lot of different parking lots and garages around PNC park so we were very careful to select only a surface lot and the one right next to the stadium so that one of the attendees (who has trouble walking) can get in and out reasonably well. After we purchased the ticket in that surface lot, they delivered us a ticket blocks away in a parking garage. The tickets in the lot were 3x higher than those in the garage, mainly because tailgating is not permitted in the parking garages, and it is further away. So we paid 3x the going rate for a parking pass than the going rate, because vivid seats did not verify what the seller was advertising and actually selling.

    After dealing with Vivid Seats Customer service for over 5 hours, they are still refusing to give us our money back. This is by far the worst company to deal with in regards to buying tickets. They don't care if you get something different than what was promised and have no problem telling you that they don't care. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!

    We purchased tickets to a Chicago Cubs game in June. The event was for a game in August. We did not receive the tickets until the day of the game and only a couple hours before the game even started. We live over 3 hours away, so we needed to be able to plan for this event. Vivid Seats refused to refund our ticket money because they said the tickets were delivered in time. I have never had tickets delivered so close to the start of a game before. Completely unacceptable!

    Two years ago I purchased tickets to a concert and because of covid the concert was supposed to be postponed. I waited months because I understood the situation but when things opened back up I never received information regarding my tickets. I contacted Vivid Seats multiple times to check the status of the event and they have no answer for me. They listed my concert date as 2099 as a way not to refund me my money because they use the line you agreed to the terms and conditions when you purchased the tickets. I contacted the venue where the concert was supposed to be held and they notified me that they had already canceled that event and issued refunds to customers who purchased tickets through them. I explained this to vivid seats and they said they would look into it.

    It’s been two years and no update on my refund. I spent over 300$ for tickets through them and got nothing but a date in 2099 that they know I will be dead by so they can keep my money because on their end it’s technically not canceled. This is a scam company. Please anyone who reads this do not be a fool like me and purchase tickets through them.

    AVOID Vivid Seats if you want to go to anything! They tell you you've bought tickets then at first deliver WRONG tickets or try to anyway. Then they tell you they will "make it right" by "upgrading" your tickets and then NEVER send the new tickets! Oh, and they KEEP the money they basically stole from you and you are left with NO tickets and NO money! Great business practice if you can pull this off! How is this even legal??? Go to Stubhub or ANYPLACE but Vivid for your tickets! Unprofessional, uncooperative and unresponsive! SCAM!

    I contacted Customer Service at Vivid Seats due to having COVID symptoms. They said I could try to sell on another site (not allowed to sell on theirs) but wouldn't give a recommendation. They also said I could ask the venue for help, which is also not where I bought my tickets. I said I'd be ok with just a credit, but they said they have no power or authority since it's just a secondary marketplace. It's just wild to not have policies to mitigate a global pandemic and/or actually care about your customers. I am so disappointed and will not be using them again. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.

    The lot that this site referred me to was NOT at Oracle Park as described on the Vivid Seats site so this was false advertising from the get go. It was a 25 minute walk away. It was also unmanned and there was no one to show my reservation to. There was a note that said the attendant was gone and provided a phone number. When called, the offsite lot attendant said that they don't work with vividseats and we could not park there or we would be towed. We had to find a parking spot on the street and were over a hour late to our venue, missing the main reason we went to this game.

    When I called vividseats the first rep hung up when I explained what had happened. The 2nd customer service rep (Phil) refused to issue a refund and kept saying it wasn't their fault. I kept replying that it wasn't MY fault and vividseats is responsible for the poor service of their partners, NOT the customer. I threatened to report this company to the federal government for investigation as internet fraud. She still would not issue a refund so now I am working with my bank to refuse this $60 charge. Two other groups of people showed up in the same lot with the same problem. All used Vividseats to book this spot. I will NEVER use this service again and will report them to the federal government still. Do not use them. Unreliable and will not take responsibility for their choice of partners and POOR SERVICE.

    If there was zero that would be the rating, bought Chili Peppers concert in October. My grandson is thirteen. It was going to be his 1st concert with the family, tickets were confirmed and my card was charged. So I get an email 3 days prior to the event July 31, stating the tickets are no longer available, they would try to get us other tickets, they started breaking up our party, "Oh they had 2 tickets on this row. We will try to find more," this is how the conversation went the day of the concert, such a disappointment for my grandson who was looking forward to see one of his favorite bands. This company has no ethics, I cannot emphasize enough - do use them.

    While looking for NFL tickets I found selections I wanted on Vivid Seats and another on Seat Geek. In the past I have purchased from both. While discussing the seats I saw on Seat Geek the rep told me he could not see the seat numbers 37 and 38 which I was asking for. He told me Vivid did not have the seat numbers (as seat geeks does). I told him it was important that we have aisle seats. He asked me to hold on and came back verifying, "Yes they are aisle seats." During our conversation I asked 3 times if they were aisle seats, he said yes all three times. Prior to the sale a disclaimer is read and, according to the rep, it is recorded. The disclaimer only guaranteed our seats would be together. I again asked are these Aisle seats, and was again told yes. Then I said "then yes I will purchase". I now believe the sales rep lied to make the sale.

    About an hour later I received tickets to the correct section and row but seats 5 and 6 Not Aisle seats. I immediately called Vivid and was told my issue would be passed along to a department that could review the recording and get back to me by email. Weeks and many phone calls have passed and still I am told the Same Scripted Answer. My concern will be passed along to the proper department. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor. I was told there are none available to the public. My message must be passed along thru their channels. I've been told this same scripted word for word response since the first call on the day I purchased the seats.

    During Each call I have requested that someone call me. I have received no calls or emails from Vivid. Are sales recorded? If so that will prove my claim, if they are not that's another misrepresentation by Vivid. If this was an honest mistake Vivid should correct it. If the sales rep is dishonest, I am sure I'm not the only customer he lied to. You would think Vivid would want to know this too. I am now in limbo, out the money, no aisle seats, no help from Vivid. Guess the lesson learned here is Never Buy From Vivid Seats again. There are plenty of other choices.

    It's a well established company and the website is pretty good, but their conduct is not honest. The ticket price for the Elton John concert at Gillette stadium in MA was shown around $70, but after fees and shenanigans it was $100 (big difference!) They did not mention clearly that it was not refundable if you need to cancel (even within an hour), and that parking was not included. Turns out that parking cost well over $100!! Such a big expense could be a deal breaker for many people, and should be clearly disclosed in advance.

    I spent half an hour on the phone with customer service, they essentially told me that I'm screwed. There's no cancellation and refund, and there's no reasonably priced option for parking. I asked to escalate and talk to a manager, but the rep said she was not allowed to do that. :-/ The Elton John concert was something to look forward to, an experience to remember, but Vivid Seats made it needlessly stressful. :-(

    Vivid Seats is a company hidden with hidden fees and a no chance to change or cancel seats once you found out you got scammed. When talking with the Vivid Seats Rep Jefry he couldn’t explain what the extra fees were. Basically just said the seats were the price they were. I ended up paying over $40 more for tickets I could of bought through the vendor themselves for cheaper. Either the seller made bank on their tickets or Vivid Seats needs to fix their crap. I will never buy from them again and I would encourage anyone to avoid them at all costs.

    I absolutely hate your company. My phone was stolen and someone used my account to buy tickets since my card info was saved on there and they used my phone to confirm the sale. I couldn’t cancel with you guys, even though the scammers bought insurance? THE CONCERT WAS IN A DIFFERENT STATE. I tried to dispute the charge with my bank after having to cancel my card, and I was DENIED because your company told my bank that I authorized the charge because it was authorized via email and text (THEY HAD MY PHONE). I tried to sell the tickets, BUT THEY NEVER ARRIVED FOR ME TO SELL THEM. You issued a refund for the ticket price, and gave me a $200 voucher for YOUR screw up. Yet today my card, a YEAR LATER is randomly charged TWICE for the same amount? I try to call and dispute and ask questions and can’t get through to an actual person. So so disappointed. Somebody needs to call me back and fix this so I can pay my mortgage that’s due in a week and a half.

    I created a Consumer Affairs account just to leave this review. I was so displeased with this service. Buy tickets to Pearl Jam concert, the money is withdrawn from the account, buy insurance for the tickets, then the next day receive an email that I must call Vivid Seats about the tickets. They say the tickets were already sold to someone else. Their "customer service" team was rude and unapologetic, offering no solutions or service whatsoever. What's more, the insurance I bought with the tickets they sold me, apparently without authorization, is "not their problem" so I have to deal with a 3rd party to get a refund for the insurance purchased, which I only bought because I was told I had just purchased concert tickets. I will never buy anything through Vivid Seats and would highly discourage anyone from using them for anything.

    I bought tickets. I paid for them. Their website listed my tickets as “confirmed” in big red letters on my account. But they never emailed the mobile tickets to me. On the day of the event I chatted online with customer service twice, both times the rep promised my tickets would be emailed before the show. The second person I talked to, “Christopher” said don’t worry the tickets will come. Just go even if they haven’t arrived. They will be emailed while you’re in line to get in. I’m sure you can see where this is headed. I went downtown. I paid for parking. I get to the venue. Still no tickets.

    Now I’m outside on the phone with Vivid Seats like an idiot for an hour while the show starts without me. I finally talk to someone who offers me a refund. We’ll see if it ever comes. When I asked why they didn’t just tell me that afternoon there was a problem, she said they didn’t confirm the tickets weren’t coming from their “seller” until 30 minutes after the show had started. THEN WHY DID IT SAY THEY WERE CONFIRMED ON MY ACCOUNT?? Ok I’m done venting. I know it’s just a show and life will go on. But don’t make the same mistake as me. Oh and the tickets were a gift for my wife, so I drug her into this whole debacle. Luckily she has a sense of humor and she loves me. If that refund ever comes, I’ll try to make this up to her.

    The artist added a new concert date locally after I had purchased tickets on Vivid Seats for one that was out of town. I have been trying for two months to get help with selling them. The event is not available on the list of concerts to choose from. I have spent more than two months trying to resolve this, with no fewer than six submittals on their site asking for help. I tried the Live Chat option, and was asked to provide the phone number for the account. All I got was an automated response saying that I wasn't in their system. I responded that they have it somewhere because they have been texting me on a regular basis since I bought the tickets. The same computer gave me the identical response.

    The concert is in 8 days, and this will leave me very little time to sell them - the concert isn't even sold out through TicketMaster yet. Assisting customers with the sale of tickets is a service they offer, but they have failed miserably in this area. Based on my experience, I would definitely not recommend them or will I ever buy tickets from them again.

    I would not recommend Vivid Seats. We purchased tickets in November 2021 for a Red Sox game in July 2022 as a gift for our son. We received an email that we would get the tickets electronically in May. Once May came around we received another email that we wouldn't get them until 2 days before the game. Two days before the game we receive another email that we will not receive tickets until the day of the game. Our son and his friend flew to Boston to see this game, it was very stressful but knowing if they would have tickets in time. We called multiple times, got the same responses, they're guaranteed to arrive in time. We called at 3:30 the day of the game, got extremely upset with the representative and then at 4pm we finally received the tickets for their 7pm game. It was a very stressful experience and we will not be using them again.

    Purchased a ticket for parking for Motley Crue in Chicago. The description stated it was parking specifically for this event. No times were indicated other than the confirmation email I received which stated it started 4:31 pm. Once I received the actual ticket, however, it was only valid from 3-8 pm. I immediately called because no concert ends at 8 pm. I was told they couldn’t do anything until I called Wrigley Field for confirmation of end time, which I did. Debra at Wrigley told me end time was 11 pm. So I called back & let them know. They put a request out to the seller.

    After not hearing anything for 2 hours, I called back to get a refund. I’m not going to park for half an event, especially when that’s not how it was advertised. I made other plans to get to the show. Now they’re telling me they can’t issue a refund & my parking (which I can’t use) will only be good until 8 pm. Total scam! Time & money wasted. & they keep assuring me that disputing with my card company will likely not be successful. Never again will I use this company!
