ZipRecruiter exceeded my expectations. It’s pretty straightforward. They send you a lot of jobs. Everything's online now even if you try to get a job at McDonald's. It only took me a few minutes to set up my profile, and I’ve found a few jobs off of ZipRecruiter that I liked and were relevant to my experience.

I’m actually with several placements, but it’s been difficult to find a job anywhere through any of the apps that I use. So, I’ve been searching for a job through ZipRecruiter for eight months and have had no success. They have given me good leads, but I still don’t have any interview invitations.

We had terrible results from ZipRecruiter. The candidates weren't even responsive. So it was just a waste of money. Also, they sold us a package and we wanted a different pool of users, but they had already applied on Indeed. It was not a good experience at all. I would suggest people to not use them.

There were some online groups where the jobs from the recruiter were posted. I clicked, and that's how I started with ZipRecruiter. I didn’t pay anything to use it. I used it so seek employment for five months. However, I didn't have any luck with it as of now.

Ziprecruiter is a ripoff!! They charged me $400 for the biggest BS applications!! I called people who supposedly applied and they never did put their info on ziprecruiter! I have landed jobs through ZipRecruiter. My thing with ZipRecruiter is it’s not providing proper interface, not enough jobs, and they're not personalized enough for my career. But I’ve had two job interviews that have spawned from using ZipRecruiter. There are just some things other competitors are doing a little bit better that they could work on.

I haven't used ZipRecruiter in over three years, but at the time that I did, I appreciated their design layout, so I went with them. They were a 10 out of 10. Their customer service was really good.

I applied to about 50 jobs 'cause I got laid off a couple of months ago. I've been applying every day for the last 16 weeks. I saw ZipRecruiter on the internet, clicked on the thing that I liked and applied. It was easy to set up my account, but I haven't gotten a job yet. Somebody have called and gotten back to me to say either, "We've already found someone for that position,” or “We're not hiring anymore." At least, I know they got my application.

I've been actively looking for jobs, so I'm expanding my job search to different sites and sources. I listen to the podcast, Start Here, and learned about ZipRecruiter. The set up process was pretty quick. Uploaded my resume and a couple of other things that I was looking for, like the criteria for the jobs. It was pretty easy, and got me going. It has good options, like there are good listings, but me personally, I haven't landed a job. So, I can't say it's incredible, but it's definitely set up better than some of the other sites I've looked at. There are some sites that are more social media-based, like LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter is very focused on just job search, which is good in that sense if you just wanna lock in on finding a job.

A podcast convinced me to use ZipRecruiter. We used different ones at one time. ZipRecruiter was the most successful, and I stuck with it. Setting it up was easy and it's a good value. It is expensive, but you're likely to find help.

ZipRecruiter was something different from LinkedIn, which was why I went with them. I used them for almost two years and I never got a job. I even have a master’s degree, but nothing came to fruition. I've given up and I'm just not looking right now.

I used ZipRecruiter to look for jobs. Setting up was easy. You just put your name in there and upload your resume. I put a couple of applications out, but I’m not hardcore looking for a job. I’m just looking in the market. I always keep my options and horizons open. People should go online and look for jobs. I use ZipRecruiter and LinkedIn and they’re the ones I would recommend. They’re the most popular.

ZipRecruiter is one of the best platforms, and everything went well for me setting up my profile. It was pretty good and it gives you real-time hiring processes for the proper jobs you’re finding.
I've been with ZipRecruiter for one month now, but I haven’t got employment right now. I’ve had interactions with customer service while dealing with retailers, stakeholders, and a lot of people, but right now, I’m not getting any calls or anything.

Whenever I would look for jobs, ZipRecruiter is one of the first ones that comes up, and I find their layout very easy to use versus some other career website. It’s one of my go-to platforms, and I like that they have an easy one-click option for many of the jobs, which makes it really nice, especially when you’re applying to multiple jobs at once.
I have recommended it to other people. I like that I get a lot of hits off of it. I’ve gotten leads, interviews, and jobs from there. It really works.

Our experience with ZipRecruiter has been positive. Setting up an account is very easy and their website is user-friendly. Anytime you need help and you call, they're right there to help you. You're able to pause your account when you get to the number of people that you need, although I haven’t been able to do that in a while. We get quite a few candidates, but not all of them are necessarily qualified for what we're looking for. I think it’s more about people not having the same work ethic as they used to.
ZipRecruiter is more reasonably priced than others and they hit more areas. However, they are always calling to try to get you to upgrade to one of their premium packages. It’s not a bad thing, but it can be costly, and they do push for that a lot.

I’ve had varying degrees of success utilizing ZipRecruiter in the past, so I don’t typically use them at all. I find that my own internal efforts pay dividends instead. My experience with the service feels alright. It’s just different. I feel that it doesn’t really cater to small business needs. We are often a square peg in a round hole. The cookie-cutter approach doesn’t work for us or what we need to find people. They have their place in the market. They just don’t really service unique small businesses like ours.

ZipRecruiter has a lot of advertising claiming great results, and then when I talked with one of the agents, he did a sales thing and convinced me to give it a try. I used them for four weeks for the job that I had. But, I won’t use them again. Avoid it.

I was promised by ZipRecruiter that their premium service would deliver a large pool of pre-screened, qualified candidates. That was the only reason I paid for it. Instead, in the first week, I received only four candidates—none of whom met even the basic requirement of having prior experience, which was clearly stated in the job ad.
When I called to address the issue, their team backpedaled and told me I was supposed to call the applicants to check their qualifications, despite their earlier assurance that pre-screening was included. I did call every candidate, and all of them admitted they had no experience at all. I tried to cancel the ad immediately, but customer service was incredibly rude and dismissive. They simply said, “It is what it is,” and refused to issue a refund. Absolutely terrible experience. I strongly recommend avoiding ZipRecruiter and using Indeed or another platform that actually delivers on what they advertise.

DO NOT USE! We paid for a couple months of service at $1100. All I received was a bunch of names nobody could pronounce and used every letter in the alphabet. When asked for a refund because we didn't receive one decent candidate. They would give me credit for another month. I don't want another month of made-up names!

Setting up the account with ZipRecruiter wasn't complicated. But I didn't feel like getting them was of value or that they met my expectations. I didn't experience much. I honestly expected more applicants, but that could have been a lot of things. They tended to tell me it was my fault because I didn't spread out my request far enough into the geographical areas, which didn't make sense. When I did get resumes from the three different geographical areas, they were always from the same people. So I don't feel like ZipRecruiter understood the market area in this area. I did not have any luck with them. It could have been my fault or their fault, but I don't feel like I got my money's worth.

I found out that ZipRecruiter is one of the best platforms for looking for a job, but it didn't work out for me. I didn't get a good enough opportunity. I had a good experience setting up the account. It was easy. It put all the pieces together for me and I just needed to put in my experience. The results I received were okay, but none of them fit me. They weren't exactly what I was looking for. ZipRecruiter does give out several options. It's just up to the person to pick an option or not. I would tell others to upload a profile and shoot for the best luck for a job.

ZipRecruiter didn’t meet our expectations. We stayed there for a while, and it didn’t produce the type of candidates we were looking for. We were getting better hits on a competitor’s free version, but then when we went to the competitor, it didn’t do us any good because they turned into about the same. So, it might just be the way that we’re looking and not a critique of the recruiter’s algorithm.
The account setup itself was straightforward. There were no issues with that. The website was user-friendly, so you could figure it out. I’d rate it a 7 out of 10.
Customer support felt fine. They were helpful with suggestions, and they called. That improved my search and original ad posting. We were calling it “crane engineer,” and to do better, they’d suggest “mechanical tech” instead, and we did. We got better quality candidates.
We’re particularly specific in who we want, though, so there were very few candidates who checked all the boxes that we needed. We got plenty of applications, and a number of usable ones, but in the end, that didn’t play out the way we hoped.

We had used ZipRecruiter in the past and had success with it. So we're gonna try it again. It was fine. I worked with Jeff Barbera, and he was very helpful in getting that all set up for us. It worked well. We had an overabundance of candidates come through, and we had a couple of great candidates who interviewed with us, so that was great.

I’ve known about ZipRecruiter for years and it’s one of the three job boards I use. It’s easy to use and it’s all right. I've applied to a few, but I haven't had any luck yet. I tend to get a lot of jobs that are way outside my field. I get medical professional-type job listings and I'm a cook. So, if somebody I knew was looking for work in the medical field or a certain industry, I would gear them specifically towards ZipRecruiter.
