I’m currently a student at DeVry University in my third program, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. Coming back to school felt intimidating at first, but the support I’ve received, from professors who truly care, to tech support that’s always patient, and from advisors has made a huge difference. I like that the classes are practical and career-focused, which helps me feel more prepared for the real world, especially in the medical coding and billing field I’m pursuing. Being able to choose between in-person and online classes has helped me balance school, work, and life without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, I feel valued as a student here, and that makes me excited about my future. I’m glad I chose DeVry, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants an education that fits around their life and goals.

DeVry has been an amazing experience! All of the professors are extremely helpful, the workload is manageable, they provide all the resources needed to be successful in the courses, and the online only option has allowed me to be able to work on my degrees while raising my family and working a full time job. Although I was skeptical at first, DeVry was the best decision I could have made to further my education. I literally have nothing negative to say about my experience here! I have roughly 6 months until I finish my Bachelor's degree and I couldn’t have done it without the support this school provides. Every time somebody asks about my school I brag about it and tell them they should look into it.

I began college after 15 years of being out of school. I was nervous to say the least! I am a little over 80% complete in my (medical billing and coding) program, and have maintained a 4.0 the entire time. I feel they have ALL the support you could need to help you succeed. The professors are very involved with their class, and very responsive to any questions you may have. Student Support keep in touch, just to check in, and offer any resources you may need. You get fairly frequent reminders of available support outside of classroom needs, as well as classroom support, library support, networking, peer support as well as career support. Every course I have taken has been fully immersive and very easy to complete and navigate.

I have never done online schooling before, Devry made it easy to get signed up for classes. They were helpful in explaining the process and the teachers were amazing. They all had hours where you could go and "meet" with them. There were live tutoring sessions if you needed help. Each course I took had a live class every week, which you could watch later if you were unable to attend. Which was good for me since I worked during the day and sometimes the classes would start at 5 and I was unable to be there.

From the initial conversation I had with Jeffrey ** he had me at hello so to speak. He helped me so much I cannot thank him enough. Then starting the coding program the professors and classes have been nothing short of amazing. The ability to reach the professors when needed and the ease of navigating the modules has made this experience beyond what I expected.

I am LOVING my DeVry experience. I am an on-line student and am really flourishing. I like the 8 week courses and feel like all the Professors and tools we have are FANTASTIC. Highly recommend. I am 25 years past my college years and only received an AA and now coming back to get my BA. Great experience thus far.

DeVry University is really great. Helpful and easier to do. Makes sense. Set up correctly and works with results. The instructors or teachers care. The student body is excellent. The online sphere is amazing. Worth it. Thank you.

DeVry was an excellent choice for me. Their schedules are flexible enough for me to go to work and still spend time with my family. The professors are all very helpful with assisting students to succeed, or finding the correct avenues if they're unable to, like for computer technical stuff. The library is amazing! Tons of resources. The homework is on a weekly basis, which helps me allocate time to do it when I'm able. This has been a great experience for me, and I definitely wish I had done this sooner.

We tend to be fickle in our desires for growth, especially when you're not fresh out of high school and returning to college. Honestly, I had that exact attitude coming into DeVry at the age 37, but once I honestly gave it a chance, DeVry was exactly what I was looking for. Work seems to be the matter for us all, and finding one that is healthy isn't always the easiest thing to do. However, with the demands of life, you will accept whatever you can to make ends meet. I'm a super attentive person at work, school, and home. So if you find yourself having trouble finding work and you also know life's ebb and flows, you will begin to find something for sanity. Honestly, this was me I was like I can't I am too old to start over! Once I even said school forever.

My experience with the DeVry Keller Graduate Program has been both rewarding and supportive. The online platform is user-friendly, making it easy to access course materials, participate in discussions, and submit assignments on time. Whether balancing school with work or family responsibilities, the flexible learning structure allows students to stay organized and on track.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This school is nothing but a scam. The so called professors don’t care about their students, but then again neither does the school. Their technology is not stable. You can post your work and it will automatically disappear. You will not get any credit for your work. Then they have the audacity to suspend you for not doing the work. There are a lot of things that I can say, but it would be a book. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scam school.

After dedicating over 25 years to being a stay-at-home mom and wife I found myself at a crossroads when my late husband passed away. As the world continued to evolve around me, I realized it was time for me to step out and pursue my own dreams. I had always aspired to work in management at a hotel or apartment complex by the beach and I decided that going back to school would be the first step in making that dream a reality. From day 1 at DeVry University online my experience has been nothing short of positive. The support I've received from my instructors and advisors has truly made a difference in my journey. They have been encouraging and accessible. Always ready to assist whenever I have questions or need guidance. The online format has allowed me to balance my studies with my personal life without feeling overwhelmed.

When I decided to go back to college and earn a degree at 45, I was excited but terrified! The last time I was in school we still did assignments on paper! I was intimidated by the technology and worried it would be too expensive. My admissions coordinator at DeVry was Donna and she was WONDERFUL! She suggested we connect on a zoom call so she could show me as opposed to tell me. The financial part was a breeze too! The girl I spoke with walked me through it all and it turns out I get funding and grants so my cost to attend is extremely manageable! My course professors are great and available when I need them. The assignments are not too much and not as complicated as I thought. I am learning SO much and still able to work and fulfill my family commitments.

When trying to pick out a school that's best suited for you and your needs can be very challenging and also confusing, at Devry University they do all the hard work to get you ready to start. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with this very confusing time in your life. Devry University offers many different programs suited for you. If you're ready just to start your first semester consider Devry where they do everything for you, all you have to do is be ready to start your first day. Any questions or problems you may face Devry University will help you to be successful. Choosing Devry University is the best decision for me and I'm sure you also. Going to DeVry I have learned much more than an education. I have found a whole community of colleges and made high strides in the medical technology field. The people are great. The teachers are awesome and the way they teach breaks it down to the point it's easy to do well.

My experience with DeVry has been outstanding. I never thought that going back to school after graduating 33 years ago would be fun...and it is because I'm learning what I always wanted to know...technology. New improved technology that can propel me to get a good/better job and/or start my own business. Believe me don't let jealous people stop your personal growth, shine, a better life for yourself and/or family. The added plus is that even your kids will see that getting schooled is fun.

Great school to study online and convenient for those with tight work schedules and/or children. Allows you to do a stackable way of learning with certification, associates and bachelor's and also provides capabilities to take breaks in between without loss of credits.

Last year, I decided to pursue a new career after lots of changes in my life. I researched the Medical Billing and Coding program, and even spoke with an incredibly friendly and informative advisor who explained the program and its potential for my future. I explained to her that I was currently unemployed and could take the year to complete the certificate program, get an entry-level job in the field, and then return to pursue higher degrees in Health Information Management. She agreed it was a respectable plan and we both agreed it would get me back on my feet and employed by this year.

In a time where working adults has their choice of online education options, I settled on DeVry. In part for the cost comparison and then the reviews. I wasn't wrong, The Staff from enrollment to the professors have been very helpful. I even was having an issue in the library online, and the online librarian went above and beyond to help me, including contacting my professor. I would recommend Devry, I admit I have no basis for comparison, and I can only comment on what my experience has been.

My time with Devry University has been outstanding. I'm currently enrolled in the Medical coding and billing program, which offers a solid foundation and would prepare me for networking opportunities. Everyone from the student advisors to the professors are great, I will continue with DeVry and hopefully take up another program.

I was nervous about returning to school later in life. My DeVry counselors and advisors helped me every step of the way in getting enrolled and setting up my class schedule. DeVry has amazing student assistance tools, from online tutoring to counseling when life throws you a curve. So far I have had an amazing experience and am enjoying learning in all my classes.

Do not attend this fraudulent program. Go anywhere else. The educational level is for developmentally challenged. You will not be marketable or collect anything of value from this institution. Run away!

I'm glad that I chose to attend to DeVry University when I was thinking about going back to school. The learning styles vary in each different type of class, and they come up with new and interactive ways to keep me involved and focused. I appreciate the help and support that I have been receiving throughout my time in school. The best thing I would say about being a student is that it is manageable for me while I work full-time.

I think attending DeVry was the best decision that I took for my education. The Professors and Student Advisors were incredibly supportive and helpful in achieving my academic goals. They always made sure that I felt welcomed and respected. It was a wonderful experience from the start, I called to talk to an advisor to jump start a new journey and a new career. They were very helpful. I talked with financial aid and they helped me set up my finances to a manageable level. Then they also got me on track for courses. I just finished the fall semester and although I was very nervous to start all over again as I am older. They and the staff, Professors were very helpful and I managed and plan to hold my 4.0 GPA. I am a mature woman returning to school. I was on the fence, unsure, if I could keep up and schedule my work around studying. DeVry University has made it easy for me to return. The professors are very knowledgeable and have no problems helping you to get ahead. I think Student Support was the basic reason I am here at DeVry. The help you receive and support is amazing. I graduated high school over 20 years ago and although I always wanted to continue my education life always had other ideas. Any time a college recruiter would call or email me I would tell them that I wasn't really interested in school at that time. Then a few months ago I got a call from Daniel H, an admissions counselor from DeVry University. For the first time I didn't blow off the call. Instead of dealing with someone who wanted me to apply to multiple schools with no promise that even one of them would accept me, I was dealing with Daniel who was offering me a guaranteed acceptance to the program of my choosing at not just a specific school but a school I was familiar with and had a positive opinion of. I started classes just 2 weeks later.

I have received the upmost respect and support from both the staff and instructors, and this has made a real difference/impact on my studies. I’m glad I chose DeVry. The schedule is very flexible. The professors are great teachers and the rest of the staff make themselves available and from the counselors on all the way up to the finance Director if I’m Labeling that table, right? I would recommend DeVry to anyone. This is a great school.

I would actually give no stars. Ridiculous people. They kicked me out the month exact month my son passed away one year. Yes 365 days my world is collapsed. All of them knew my story. This was an email. NOT a phone call. Totally disrespect. They reassured me I was NOT kicked out then the next day this.

I received a response to all of my questions in friendly and efficient manner. I was welcomed as soon as my call was answered and redirected to the correct department accord to my needs. The waiting time was also not long.

I was so nervous about going to school, it had been over a decade. I decided to attend DeVry University for business essentials. They made it so easy to apply and explain everything to me every step of the way. It made me feel much better to know I had so much support from the administration and advisors. So far I am an A student and I reach out to my professors and staff if I have any questions. The support is there to be successful. Devry is definitely a great school. I appreciate and I am so proud I made the decision to further my education.

My experience with DeVry has been amazing! Not only are the professors incredibly helpful but so is the student support advisors. They walk you through everything and check up on you periodically through your courses to make sure you're staying on track and making sure you have everything you need. The professors are also very understanding. They have tutoring available that will help you with your course. They also have to no problem answering any questions you might have. They give you advice on how to succeed at your education that actually becomes very helpful and life skills that make life a little easier. They work with you around your schedule and make sure that you're not overloading yourself between family life, work life and school.

DeVry has made it easy and fun to complete the Medical Billing and Coding program! They have been with me every step and I always have support for any question or concern and even just cheering me on!

For me, DeVry so far has been an amazing school! I personally am taking the Medical Billing and Coding Certification Program, and so far my classes have been good. It really feels like my teachers want me to be successful and they are almost always quick at responding to any questions, and are very open to giving students extra time to complete assignments if you've gone through something.

Earning a GPA of 4 out of 4 this semester at DeVry University has been a fulfilling experience for me. The courses were challenging but provided valuable opportunities for growth, both academically and personally. Applied for a admissions job with full qualifications. There were two people in the team meeting and neither with cameras on. So I did the interview with only my camera. Awkward! She loved my answers and responses. Now got a email saying they do not want to move forward. My appearance? Must be! Now looking into it further the reviews for this place are hideous. Updated on 03/11/2025: Now, having completed (or nearly completed) the program, I want to share my experience for those considering this path. Comprehensive and Practical Curriculum. One of the strongest aspects of DeVry’s program is its well-rounded curriculum. The coursework covers essential topics such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding, and electronic health records (EHRs). These are all critical skills for a career in medical billing and coding, and the program does a great job of breaking them down in a way that is both understandable and practical. Additionally, the coursework is designed to prepare students for industry-recognized certifications, including the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through AAPC and the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) through AHIMA. Since many employers require these certifications, this preparation adds significant value to the program.

When I first started looking for a online school. I spoke to a few online schools but, DeVry actually took the time to talk to me and explain the financial parts, the classes and how they are scheduled, and the resources they offer to help you finish and succeed. The advisor checked on me everyday until my classes started. And they still check. I would recommend DeVry to anyone that wanted online classes.

So far my I have no complaints about the curriculum. The university makes it easy to learn as well as providing resources through video and other formats to help you through the program. The tutors are very helpful and the staff takes time to make sure you reach your goal.

I've been enrolled at DeVry University for (almost) a year now. All I have to say is that I love my time here so far. The staff's utter incompetence and disregard for students' needs create an environment rife with obstacles and frustration. Instead of providing guidance and assistance, they seem intent on setting students up for failure, leaving them feeling unsupported and abandoned in their educational journey. This pervasive negligence not only hinders academic progress but also damages students' confidence and morale, resulting in an overall negative experience.

Learning is immersive with DeVry University. My favorite part is how serious and dedicated they are for their student's higher education goals and futures. Looking forward to the next three years with them.

I was really loving my experience. A little rough trying to balance children, 2 jobs and classes. Then I realized they lied to me about the classes. When I called them and told them what I was looking to accomplish and discussed what classes I needed to achieve my goals. I signed up. Got my FAFSA. Few months later I look at my courses to see when I would start my consumer behavioral course and I don’t even have it. I’m disappointed and misled and taken advantage of.

The decision to go back to school, especially with a newborn was difficult but my admissions advisor at DeVry made the process simple and comfortable. The flexible schedule of the 8 week online course options really takes the stress away and keeps me from feeling bogged down when mixing school with my everyday schedule. I contacted Lesslie ** (DeVry Admission) to express my interest in continuing my education in business. I also stress to her, my goal for funding the education. I was very clear in explaining to her that, I am applying for government financial aid, which will be the source of funding for my education, and that I was not expected to have a bill or debt once the courses was completed. My plan was to take advantage of student grants that was available to me, so that I would not have to come out of pocket or worry about having a student loan or debt hanging over my head. I applied for student financial aid and was approved. Lesslie had Student Central review my financial aid's status, she then stated to me, that the goals that I had in mind for funding my education were realistic and obtainable. Somehow I let her swinder me into signing up for classes at DeVry University online.

DeVry has been such a blessing to me. I have changed my career path and wanted to do something new, and their flexibility, and dedication to me, is nothing less than the best! I can't recommend Devry University enough! There are many student resources available, such as tutoring and career services. The student advisors are prompt, friendly, and always extremely helpful. The professors are caring and engaged. The courses are efficient.

What a horrible experience! I would not recommend DeVry to anyone wanting a true educational experience. If I could rate them a zero I would! I recently enrolled in the Master's Certificate program and was in my last course. The professor for the Digital Leadership course was over the top awful. I tried to stick it out as it was my last class but in week 4 she posted a "short" video (23 minutes) about the week 3 assignment (now past) and being "successful" with the week 4 assignment. She actually gave me a zero on my assignment for week 3. I contacted the university for assistance and they told me that I would have to pay for the class and pay to retake a different class because she was the only instructor for that course.

The professors and staff are truly stellar. The technology that is utilized for our courses make the knowledge simple to understand. I am truly grateful for DeVry and the foundation they have helped me create for my future career in software engineering.

In addition to the knowledge that has been gained through my previous courses in which has met the expectations that each program offers has been exceptional. While also you can receive certain credentials that can be added to your career path in which you and your assigned career advisor or student advisor can help assist you. I started with DeVry in October 2020, in the Medical Billing and Coding Program. I graduated October 2021 with a 3.87gpa. In December 2021, I went to work for a pain management office as the front desk associate. In March 2023, I came back to DeVry. I am going for my Associates in Applied Sciences with a major in Health Information Management. I’m still with the pain management office, and am now the Referral Coordinator/Prior Authorization Specialist. DeVry has been an amazing experience for me. DeVry gave me so much help with every process from the gov. websites to all the applications I needed to fill out. Ms. ** is my rep and I love her too haha! The first 8 week class was amazing. I loved my teacher. She answered all of my dumb questions and understood I'm not great with computers but I did my best and hustled and I finished with a beautiful A in the class. Now my second class has started with a diff. professor, I didn't know they were going to change but that's fine! Adapt and overcome! But this 2nd class is more challenging and I love a good challenge. Ummm the only 'below average' review I have is the book/ordering system. My NEW class has started already but I didn't have access to order the new book till the day OF. That's kind of a bummer but everything else is amazing.

First, I want to start by saying I very rarely write reviews; however, DeVry has been so good I feel compelled to share this with others. When I was considering going to college, I began by doing research on the schools that had a curriculum in the technology field that I was interested in. I wasn’t too sure exactly what I wanted to do. I found DeVry and was contacted almost immediately by Theresa **, she was a huge help in pinpointing what I wanted to major in and helped me to get enrolled.

I contact DeVry University to see how much more I needed to get my bachelor's degree. I emailed Melissa ** my 2 transcripts. She kept in contact with me. I received my Devry transcript evaluation and found out I only need a little over a year to complete my bachelor's degree. She is a friendly and on top advisor.

From admissions, to the professors, the experiences I've already had are ones of surprise and gratitude. At first, I chose DeVry for it being a well-known school. Then I started my first semester. The teachers are GREAT!! The teachers are always making sure that you try to have your homework turned in on time. The live class discussions are a good way to teach, showing how to do the end-of-week projects and the teachers can also help with anything that a student might be having trouble with. Accepted VRRAP for veterans and got me signed up and taking classes. I had not been in school for about 6 yrs and Devry made it easy to transfer credits and help me find the classes necessary to fulfill the requirements for the Cyber Security Certificate.

I started DeVry later in life so I wasn't fresh out of school. I was worried at first that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the flow of things, keeping up with my full time job, taking care of my family and everything life has to throw at you. DeVry is very good at making me feel comfortable and knowing that I have readily available resources.

I love the freedom of being able to do my work at my own pace and the convenience of having online classes works well with having a new baby. I’m excited to start a new career path and glad I chose Devry for my first step.

My time at DeVry has been great. First of all they got me on board with a target major in mind, working with me for three weeks to figure out my benefits from my time in the service. I graduated from DeVry in 1985 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. I was a transfer student from a top state university. The class sizes were very small compared to the huge university classes I was used to. I liked the one-on-one attention that was available due to the smaller number of students. It was not online back then. We had all-day in-person classes. I already had all the liberal arts classes and wanted to finish up quickly and get the remaining computer courses I needed, so I chose to go to DeVry to finish up. I had 2 job offers within a month of graduation. I just retired from one of the top software companies in the US after 35 years there making well into the six figures. I was pleased with the education I got at DeVry. I cannot speak for the university today, but back then, it was a good place for me to finish my education.

I came to DeVry only because I was granted a scholarship and I had a military discount which was supposed to make my tuition free. I started the semester and was told to wait for my scholarship to clear in my account because it takes time. Fast forward to the end of the semester and I have a $1300 bill from them. I call them AGAIN and they tell me I was denied the scholarship because I am military affiliated. They never sent me a notice, never called me, never made any attempt to communicate with me. They swindled me out of my money. And, I found out later that the classes that I took are not even transferable credits. Don’t waste your time or money with them!!

Hard workers, always check up on you and your classes. They are almost always free to call. The professors reply to emails in a day. They also helped a lot with my VA documents. I got my GI bill as soon as the first payment was due.

DeVry University is more of a scam artist than focusing on your education. My mother was sick and I had to withdraw from my classes. I withdrew in time according to the policy, but was still charged a prorated amount, resource fees, book fees, student resource fee, and another fee that was dated for July 2017, which I didn’t attend the school at that time.

I am a 37 year old professional who wasn't getting where I wanted to be in my career. I had been told I needed a degree to go further. So I researched schools and DeVry came up as a university that my company gave tuition reimbursement for. So I called them up and had a long chat with the advisor. He was wonderful. He answered all my questions. He was patient and kind. I never once felt pressured into applying for school. I did however apply and it's the greatest decision I've made. The classes are faced paced but the way its designed, they are easy to follow. I haven't had a professor or spoken to an advisor who wasn't 100% on board with helping me reach my goals! I am so thankful I chose DeVry for continuing my education.

I worked full time retail and wanted a job as a Financial Analyst. After 2 years, some help from career services and thanks to my degree I got just the job I wanted. They do their part at the University and get you set up for a new career path. The rest is the work and effort of the student themselves!

I picked DeVry because they were doing online instruction before Covid-19. This was the right choice. The instruction is great!!!! I like the pace at which the instruction is delivered. I also like the eight week class structure. I have also met some very prominent instructors that were more than qualified and delivered some great instruction.

I started at Devry in October 2021, as I write this I have withdrawn and am looking to transfer. First the positives. The Devry Portal always worked and was easy to navigate. The Staff was helpful, but I will say when I was signing up they called so much it was borderline harassment. The Negatives. All of the learning platforms that connected through the portal were very glitchy. Devry is expensive for what you get. I did feel, as many others that A's were handed out. I tested this by turning in a junk paper and received 100% on it. On the live assignments, the teacher frequently did not understand the assignment and was walked through it by a student. I would not recommend Devry for anyone serious about learning and being prepared for your career. If you want easy A's, it is the place for you.

In CEIS 101 I learn how to build a smart home security system. I have fun building the smart home security system while I face the challenge along the way. In the discussion question, I learn about the 5G network, computing, and VPN service. There are weekly class recording links that were helpful for me to comprehend this course. The Professor at DeVry University is very helpful, friendly, and understanding. I think you should take the time to look into this school where every career you planned on doing is worth the time.

Melissa has been a huge help with my enrollment process. Answering all my questions and making me feel really good about my decision to attend Devry University. So if you are searching for a school that feels like home and cares about your success as much as you do, you have found it!!

Considering DeVry is a great opportunity for me because they have all what it takes to achieve. Starting from the non-academic staffs to the main academic staffs are all nice people, and they are always ready to assist. The most importance experience is, they have the latest technology resources to learn, and it is a great opportunity to acquire all these skills with competent lecturers. Engaging in DeVry really worth it.

I chose DeVry University because it is a name that makes me feel safe and because of their stellar reputation. What I got was a whole lot more! I was experiencing homelessness when I enrolled at DeVry, determined to change my living situation because I knew that I would not get a different result if I stayed the same. While I was enrolling the courteous staff walked me through everything I needed to do to get enrolled. But they didn't stop there. While I was maybe a couple weeks into my first classes my car was stolen and everything I owned was inside of it. I was left with nothing except the clothes on my back and my service animal. No IDs no clothes, hygiene, blankets I had nothing since I had been living in my car.

I’m a nurse of more than 25 years and had been looking to supplement my career with some certifications. I’d been doing some researches online for quite some time for colleges with great reviews and what I was looking for. Nothing seemed to be working out. Eventually, I came across a few reviews on DeVry University. I dug in a little bit more and when I knew it I was receiving a call from them.
