Asked Google who were the top debt relief programs and National came up. Spoke to Lawrence **. He was very helpful and explained everything to us. Let us know that it would lower our score more but at this point it really didn't matter because already so low. He told us due to our circumstance with our illness we would be consider a hardship case.

I have to admit I was very hesitant to try a debt consolidation program but I've been hearing a lot about this company in particular. There are several debt relief companies out there and I had already signed up with one, but I always kept looking. It’s like insurance, you always gotta keep shopping for it. Then, I came upon National Debt Relief and did some more research on them. I felt more comfortable with them than I did the other company. The process was a bit long and drawn-out, but how the system works was explained and as far as how the program has been working, everything has been going as planned.

The enrollment experience was smooth and helpful. The welcome call was trying. I had to ask the rep to speak slower twice. I was drowning in debt and I found NDR. Their customer service reps were great but then they made enrolling sound easier than it was. I thought I had enough debt but it turned out I didn't. I was $500 short of having enough since it was $10,000 to be able to join their program. But NDR was able to get all my collectors from calling me. Also, they were able to settle most of my debts for about half of what I owed my creditors. However, their reps told me that I was entering a two-year program. Now, it has been almost three years from starting their program and I am struggling to get them to settle two of my accounts. It seems like NDR will never settle them and they're always asking for more money.

He pointed out how I could save and reduce my debt in a reasonable amount of time by enrolling in the National Debt Relief program. He made a very strong case as to why this was a better option for me in getting my finances under control so that my credit score would improve over time. I would have preferred he took a little more time to allow me to digest the information as it was a lot to take in, although I did understand everything. Enrolling with NDR wasn't difficult since at the time, I was already considering bankruptcy and I had all my information. I liked how NDR's customer service reps were willing to help me. They said that through their program, they'll negotiate on my behalf. If I was in jeopardy of being sued, they would have a law firm that would help me. They were saying how they would speak to my creditors and negotiate my debt for me. That was helpful 'cause I didn't have to worry about anything and I had more self-security. I had 12 debts and NDR has already settled seven of them. They worked with the higher balances first and the ones they have to settle now are the smaller ones.

Calvin was extremely knowledgeable about the products as well as compassionate. He listened to me tell him how and why I am in debt. He was nonjudgmental and respectful. Even when I went on and on. I had a gentleman on there that stayed with me until he was certain that I understood everything that was going on and that it was correct. I found out later on that not everything was covered.

After much thought and never ending nervous system I reached out to NDR for help. My debt kept growing and growing in the wrong direction, my interest rates were so high that only 1/8 of my monthly payment went towards my actual debt.
