The first guy I spoke to was so nice. He was helpful and really easy to set the thing up. Everything has been great. My only issue is that I asked them to change the date that they auto debit my account and it never happened, but it’s not that big of a deal. Every once in a while, I’ll get a call and if I have any questions, I'd call them back. I’m ready for this to be over, but this is my third time, and so I’m hoping it’ll be my last, that I’ve learned my lesson. National Debt Relief has given me less stress. I’m down to one person left and that’s it. I’m almost done.

They consolidated our debts and paid them off. They negotiated lower prices with our credit cards. The enrollment process was as easy as you can make it. We had a lot of credit cards to go over so it was time-consuming in our part, but that wasn’t them, that was us. The very beginning was very nice and easy. But when my wife and I made our final payment because we got all the money to them, it seemed to take them awhile to finally payoff the final credit cards. I don’t understand why that took so long to close it. There may have been reasons that were just beyond my understanding. But we are finished with the program. We paid off the debts faster than what was expected. Overall, I was very happy. They did what they promised. But I wish there was a little bit more communication towards the end, like what the hang-up was on in finishing off the last of the cards.

They explained everything to you before you actually sign document. I looked online and seems like they had had some good reviews with BBB. It appeared that this program is legit. I’m hoping to settle my debt in half with 1 year and a half.

Updated on 11/07/2020: Every single rep I talk to has been courteous and knowledgeable. They went out their way to make sure I understood the process. Even when I had a creditor sue me. My settlements were good except that one. But they assured me it isn't done yet. It's beyond comforting to know a company has your back during these hard times. It's a slow process but if you stick to it and follow the program it works.

The people I worked with setting up our account etc were so welcoming and kind. They do not make you feel stupid for being in the position you are with debt. They make you feel relieved to be talking to someone who understands and wants to help you improve your life.

Brazil and Shaina were both great in walking me through this process. They both showed expertise throughout the steps, and took time to see if I had any additional questions, they were both thorough, and were clear about the next steps to take. Please give them both a raise.

I honestly did not know where to start when trying to find help to fix my debt situation. I was lost and kind of still am lost. The cost is less than bankruptcy with the ability to save your credit score from such a large hit for years to come.

My experience with National Debt Relief was 80% positive. They’ve been great. There were a couple of things I wasn’t aware of that caused a bit of a problem. We settled on a monthly amount. They said that that would work throughout my course of them paying off my bills. Then a couple of months later, they got a call and they said they settled with another company, and that they needed more a month. I had told them that the amount I had agreed to was making it difficult for me, but I would do it as long as I didn’t get any surprises. So, that was a surprise but it was a little under $100 so I agreed to it. Then a couple of months later, they said, “We’ve settled another debt and we need X amount more.” And I said, “I can’t pay you more.” They said, “We can’t work with this company. We’ll have to wait to work with them until you can afford to give us that mount of money.”

They gave me great service and was very detailed oriented and explain the process to me good, I didn’t have any questions after they explained the process to me. I’m just excited to start this process and become more debt-free in the future.

The customer service team is great, however, the administrative procedure by which they must abide is a monumental waste of time. Seriously -- two 15 minute calls? There is no need to spend that much time reading every little detail when I am a literate human being and can do that on my own. Doesn't a signature constitute my understanding that I have read the document (in theory)? Signing for my mortgage was infinitely quicker and simpler than this process. Additionally, having to verify every single piece of personal information for security purposes is absolutely ridiculous; one or two security questions will suffice. I am an extremely busy person between my 40 hour job, working on a doctorate, and renovating my house. I would appreciate a quicker process -- there were several points where I was becoming frustrated and tempted to cancel.
