My experience with National Debt Relief was 80% positive. They’ve been great. There were a couple of things I wasn’t aware of that caused a bit of a problem. We settled on a monthly amount. They said that that would work throughout my course of them paying off my bills. Then a couple of months later, they got a call and they said they settled with another company, and that they needed more a month. I had told them that the amount I had agreed to was making it difficult for me, but I would do it as long as I didn’t get any surprises. So, that was a surprise but it was a little under $100 so I agreed to it. Then a couple of months later, they said, “We’ve settled another debt and we need X amount more.” And I said, “I can’t pay you more.” They said, “We can’t work with this company. We’ll have to wait to work with them until you can afford to give us that mount of money.”

They gave me great service and was very detailed oriented and explain the process to me good, I didn’t have any questions after they explained the process to me. I’m just excited to start this process and become more debt-free in the future.

The customer service team is great, however, the administrative procedure by which they must abide is a monumental waste of time. Seriously -- two 15 minute calls? There is no need to spend that much time reading every little detail when I am a literate human being and can do that on my own. Doesn't a signature constitute my understanding that I have read the document (in theory)? Signing for my mortgage was infinitely quicker and simpler than this process. Additionally, having to verify every single piece of personal information for security purposes is absolutely ridiculous; one or two security questions will suffice. I am an extremely busy person between my 40 hour job, working on a doctorate, and renovating my house. I would appreciate a quicker process -- there were several points where I was becoming frustrated and tempted to cancel.

I was having trouble paying off my credit cards. The guys from National Debt Relief are really informal, but everything is good. It has been over a year now and I have two years remaining with their program. They're always willing to help and they're always checking on me. I really enjoy it.

The payment plan with National Debt Relief is a little tight for me because I have to pay 195 every other week, but I have no choice right now. They file the issue for one company and they’re fighting and they’re fixing everything. They're working well and doing everything. If there were any issues, they'd resolve it. Also, they got communication and they got answers to any questions I'd have. They work for the customer and everything is great.

My reps and NDR have done a good job. They worked with me really well with the payments. When I got laid off, they were able to stop the payment for a month and reduce it. When I got my job back, they were able to put it back to what it needed to be and still take care of the debt. My life has been better since going with them.

One point I wish to make is that when Anthony was speaking he was talking very fast and a couple of times he rattled off phone numbers that I could not catch entirely. I found the numbers among the paperwork so I still have them but Anthony can speak a little fast.

Although there's a lot to process @ this point I can assure you that I will able to afford paying it as arranged bi-weekly. The Welcome Call was full of information. The guy I had talked very fast, if he would slow down a bit then I would've been able to comprehend whether I had any questions or not. Other than that, it was helpful.

I was told to offer feedback, originally the person who made contact with me didn't get back to me for over 24 hours (Destiny **). So I contacted someone else Manwa and she was on top of things and communicated very efficiently. Emailing your customer care team at success@nationaldebtrelief.com on the other hand leaves something to be desired. I asked them a question after receiving an email from them and had to end up calling to get my question answered. Other than those little hiccups everything else has been awesome and I am eager to get going in the program and graduate soon.

The team did an excellent job with my account. I've been working at a job, and then I transitioned into another one. So, I went from an hourly pay base to a commission-based pay. National Debt Relief is helping me to consolidate and get things paid off. But it's just with the new settlements that they're doing, and they're requiring additional deposits. If my money is going towards that, then it's making it harder for me to pay other stuff because I've just been behind on everything.

Everything was a lot simpler than I thought it would be and they were able to do everything much faster. I thought it would be a drawn-out process but it wasn't. I'm getting ready to hit one year in National Debt Relief's program. Working with them has made everything a lot easier.

National Debt Relief had a better offering than what was going at the time but I’m not too sure about the company right now because I’m not seeing much movement on my existing debt. Also, there are some other things I’m not exactly thrilled about with them. One of the biggest things that I found so far is that they started out with one rate and then by the time they negotiated the first set, they needed to do a very large lump sum deposit before they could get it started. Then a couple of weeks later, it’s the same thing. The deposit may be down a couple of dollars and then a month later it would be the same thing. I kept having to say that I couldn’t do it. It has been frustrating.

I looked at a few companies and then, an acquaintance of a friend had gone through National Debt Relief, which made me decide to go with them. The customer service was awesome, and they were always there to help answer questions and help me through the process. They were off a little on the timeline but I'm still satisfied. I probably have another year and I'll be done with the program. It was a lot easier and less stressful than what I anticipated. It was a smooth process and NDR took all the worry out of my hands.
