On 12/3/19 about 4:00 PM or thereabouts, I called to clarify a question about adding an expense to the Debt Negotiation Agreement completed earlier today. I had several intervening phone calls and other interruptions before I could complete this but I really would like her managers to know how competent, informative, complete and mostly how kind she was. If there is any way to National Debt Relief to track that call and pass this along, I would appreciate it.

Updated on 01/10/2021: It’s worth the sacrifice that I make to be able to afford to do the program. They were there when my father had passed away and I needed to take time off work. They were there to help me through that and give me some time off. Every time I called, they asked, “Is there any change?” I feel more relieved now, especially when I don't get calls anymore and I don't have to worry about what I should pay first or when I would get through this. Now, I can see an ending.

Very informative and transparent. I felt as though I was truly being helped and my experience felt personalized. The only drawback is some of the footwork that I would have to do during the debt settlement process. For people who are trying to resolve their debts this process is daunting and almost seems desperate to the detriment of one’s financial wellness. If one is able to pay off their unresolved debts without enrolling in a program like this go that route, but if this is the only option available by all means pursue it.

Both were very knowledgeable, courteous and walked me through the process of what I could add, how the program works, and what do to next. Initially I did not have enough debt to be part of the program, but as I looked through my accounts and found other medical bills, I was able to call back and be approved for the program.

National Debt Relief took my debt and gave me an estimate of what it was gonna cost me per month and I accepted. However, I was not happy with the explanation as to their charges because they just gave me a percent that they were gonna charge and it seemed like there were a lot of other charges that I was not aware of. Another thing was that I did not get the actual conversation in writing, it was just on my telephone. But when I called, they answered my questions. The program has negotiated my settlement with the credit card companies. I pay one amount per month and then I don’t have to worry. I should be close to the end now. The last time I asked, I only had two credit card companies that were outstanding that had not been negotiated and, of course, I was still paying on some. I'm glad it's almost over.

Everyone I've worked with so far has been fantastic. Rachel ** is friendly and knowledgeable, she made me comfortable from the moment we spoke by phone (and I don't like talking on the phone!). She's answered every question and is very prompt, I haven't had to wait for responses because she responds quickly. The person I worked with on the phone to confirm information and be certain I was clear on everything (my apologies that I didn't write down her name) was also wonderful to work with. She was clear, was able to easily and completely answer every question and concern that I had.

Several times during my call Bryton stopped and made sure that I was OK, and he wanted me to know that my feeling mattered. The representatives went too fast through the process and had to stop them several times in order to write notes and ask questions. They were both nice and patient but seemed rushed to try to understand the service and agreement.

Everybody was so kind from the set-up process to the very end. I knew the money was coming out every month, and they would call and let me know when they had finished up or made a deal with one of my creditors. They would always call, and sometimes, they have anybody on the phone, that they just wanted to tell me about something, then I’ve had to call back. If you wanna tell me about something, be on the phone to tell me because my time is important. I may not have time to call back. But other than that, everything was really wonderful. Everybody was nice and accommodating when I’ve had questions, and it was a nice experience.

DO NOT GO WITH NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF! Don't do it! Find another company, find another way! This company is absolutely horrible! They try and talk you into saving 50% and in the end, after 4 years of endless phone calls, I have paid $1,000s of dollars MORE than what my original balance was! Customer service reps are rude, unhelpful and misinform you. When you call back they have no record of you calling nor what that person said. Even after starting each phone call with, "This call is being recorded." I have asked them to pull recording to explain what was told to me and they can't find them. Dozen and dozen of calls, they can't find. This company hides so much in the fine print. Your original balance will increase and the creditors will continue to bill you interest and fees, all of which you will be subjected to pay.

Very helpful, friendly and explained the process fully from start to finish. Made me feel very comfortable and ready to get started with the program. I look forward to the seeing the settlement process, finally putting this debt behind me and having a fresh start going forward.

I don't think I have a order number, but if everything is as good as it sounds I will be satisfied. I considered bankruptcy and am glad I have a different alternative. I can appreciate this program if everything goes as well as they say it should.

When you give instructions to them about communication, they don't listen. I TOLD THE GUY NAMED IAN to call on Saturday. But, he didn't listen. Somebody would call throughout the day. I even went as far as to explained to them that I drive a School Bus. I was not planning on doing business until I finally picked up the phone on a break and spoke with MS/MRS KATRINA. Along with her and further research, I decided to move forward.

I was getting more and more in debt and I really needed to try to get all my debt timely consolidated and make a smaller monthly payment and try to get all that off of me. I got a letter in the mail and I read over it and I thought it sounded a good thing to do. So, that’s how I got started with National Debt Relief. They looked at the amount that I owed and set me up on a three-year plan. Everything went smooth. The rep seemed like she really cared and that she wanted to help. They were gonna contact all my creditors and make a settlement with them. They take out something I could afford every two weeks. So, they make it easier on me. It's less than my monthly payment. It’s brought it down some and then, in return, National Debt helps me get out of debt. I’m almost a year and half into it. It’s going pretty good, so far.

I was nervous about the process, but after speaking with both representatives, I felt more at ease with the process going forward. I am looking forward to becoming debt-free. I finally see a way out. I am ready to begin. The payments will be half of what I was paying with no end in sight.

It started very good but lately, I haven't seen the progress with the last two accounts. They haven't settled them yet. There have been a couple issues with one or two accounts that they told me the date that was gonna be paid and then that date changed. So I'm not too happy about that. Even though I paid off six accounts, they keep telling me the excuse there's not enough funds to pay off the rest when I was in the program for four years. And in less than that, I pay half of the bills that I have. I'm not paying those bills that I already paid off, so how come there's no funds for the other ones. And not only that, I've increased the monthly payment from $741 to $1,000.

They've been very helpful, and they've been giving me a lot of good advice. Other relief company didn't wanna take my account because they said I couldn't afford it because it was too much. But NDR made arrangement so I could pay the minimum and they did something I could afford. The customer service was really good. They explained everything to me, and they answered my questions. The only thing is they told me every time the account get off, it will be taken off out of my account. And a lot of the accounts has already been paid is still on my credit. I'm not happy about it. They told me after six months of working with them, I would be seeing change in my credit. My account has been gone but my credit is still bad. But everything else is fine.
