I was in trouble. I couldn't keep paying all my payments and I was getting in deeper. When I talked to National Debt Relief, they explained things well so I could understand how things worked. I talked to several reps there and they were all very helpful, and they helped me get through it. I had some hardships where I couldn’t make the payment sometimes, and they worked with me on that, too. They were very sympathetic to my situation. I finally got through it and graduated the course, and I'm debt-free now.
The only problem I ended up having, and it wasn't with them, but it was with the credit bureaus. NDR was on point with all my creditors, but Trans Union was not. That credit bureau is behind at times. I don't know why everybody uses them because they don't do their job very well. When I first started with NDR, I was scared but after it was explained to me how everything worked, I went along with it, and it paid off in the end. Working with the company was a relief. I got money to put elsewhere out and not worry about having to pay all those debts.

This process has been seamless thus far. NDR is consistent in their communication with you to let you know next steps and what to expect. When a settlement has been reached, is the greatest feeling as you’re closer to becoming debt free! They arm you with every possible resource as well for maintaining good credit/finance habits.

My representative was amazing and took her time with me, she offered options, and we came up with a solution that was definitely workable. Every time I call, I get great assistance. This is my second time working with NDR and I appreciate all that they are doing for me!

I've been NDR's client for a bit less than a year. During that relatively short time, they have settled nearly half of my high interest debt. I am quite pleased with these results. Additionally, I am also happy with the level of communication they provide with their clients. I feel that I'm always kept in the loop, and that they always have my best interests at heart. They work hard for me.

I had a good experience with National Debt Relief. I just got my credit cards paid off. Every time I called, they answered my questions. They were very helpful whenever I needed something, or when I didn't understand or didn't understand what they were saying. They explained things to me, made things very clear, and it was very helpful. Overall, their customer support was good. I never had anyone being rude or disrespectful. If I didn't understand something, if I needed to explain what I thought they said to me, they let me say it and figure it out in my head. They were very patient with me.
Working with NDR impacted my life because I was able to pay my credit card debt. A couple of ladies that I talked to were very nice. Once I paid everything off, she said, "I better not see your name on here again. I better not see your name on here no more." She congratulated me for graduating, and it was very nice. I have recommended NDR to other people. I'm glad that they worked it out with me to pay what I could pay. I just made sure I paid everything on time. I never missed a payment.

Denise was thorough, empathetic, non-judgmental and walked me through the whole process without missing a beat. All the people I’ve talked to at National Debt Relief are very polite and concerned. But the process is taking too long and my credit score has been low for some years, which I hate. I made the wrong decision. I should have grabbed the personal loan. It has interest, but at least it will not ruin my credit score. My husband also freaked out because he wanted to purchase a new car. But he couldn’t because of going through National Debt Relief.
I have no idea what the process is, even though the reps explained it to me. I went into the program because I had no choice and I was thinking three years was not bad. I thought NDR would negotiate with the credit card companies right away. But I needed to put some money in first before they could start another negotiation. I have been seeing my credit score go up, though I’m still dealing with some things. NDR explained that at least the interest has stopped and I’m paying it little by little, which is why my score has been improving. I love the people at NDR and I would recommend them. I just don’t like the process.

National Debt Relief was great with me. They helped me get rid of my debts. Everybody I talked to helped me understand different parts of it. My Amazon and Lowe's accounts, as well as Chase Bank which was the big one, were all paid off. NDR contacted those places and got my amount lowered, and I started paying them. I paid $253 a month for two years. NDR automatically drafted it out of my account every month. I've never had to even fool with it. The only thing I had to do was mark it off on my checkbook every month. The $253 didn't hurt me because it would cost me more than that to make a payment to those different places every month. I just noticed on my checking account two months ago that the 253 didn't come out. I also learned this month that it didn’t come out. It was supposed to come out on the fifth every month. I finally got a text message saying that everything has been settled.

I’ve never been so impressed with a simple phone call that made so much sense to me enough to sign up with National Debt Relief to get my credit cards and bills in order. We worked out a monthly payment plan that was absolutely perfect for my payday schedule. I’m 100% confident that this will completely change my life.

I had an account with Synchrony Bank, and I noticed that every time I made payments, they kept upping it. So, it was doubling my debt. I figured that I was not going to be able to pay it off without some sort of help. Somebody had mentioned debt consolidation and I looked up online and the most recommended was National Debt Relief. So, I gave them a call, and they were able to handle that situation for me. The rep that I talked to asked me questions and I was able to enroll over the phone. He was very knowledgeable. He helped me a lot. He explained how it worked and I felt better about the programs. It was pretty straightforward.
National Debt Relief had lawyers make a deal with Synchrony Bank and it ended up bringing my total down. I made monthly payments twice a month for a year and a half. When I got all that paid off, it raised my credit score. So, I went from poor to good, and I've been doing other things in that time, but that significantly helped me. Overall, my experience was very positive. I definitely have told other people about National Debt Relief.

I chose National Debt Relief to get rid of all my credit cards. That way, I could concentrate on my house bills. It was a high payment. I could barely make it with my household expenses. That was just for me in the house. I had two credit cards that lingered, a Target and a Premier Bankcard. That's why I went on. At first, it was, “Okay. This is what I see. This is the ones that I have that I can't pay.” NDR ran everything. They contacted everybody quickly. I was able to make a payment and send it to them, which helped. Every time I called to check how much longer I had, which ones fell off, and if I had any added on, NDR was always right on it. They never placed me on hold. They help me right then. I would call, and they would go over it. I would write it down. I would review it against what I saw in my bill book.
I now don't have any worries. I just have household bills. I have my cashback credit card. And I have the very first credit card that I got a gazillion years ago. I was able to buy a new car because I didn't have the money to pay $5,500 to my old car. I'm now in a car that is just 10 years old. Insurance is low. And I don't even have my license plate yet for it. My payments to NDR ended not even two months ago. I have told a couple of people about NDR. It's easier. They do all the work. I don't have to worry about the payment. It just comes out. I just have to budget it into my expense account each month and know that amount will come out regardless right away.

My credit card bills were building up. I went past my budget. I was trying to nip it in the butt before it got bad. I sought out National Debt Relief's services. They really tailored the monthly payments to something that's more manageable to help me pay off the debt as where some of the other places that I tried calling were outright putting me in almost a really high range of paying off the debt. Enrolling to their debt consolidation program was fairly simple. It included verifying some of the credit cards once they got my personal information so they can keep track of what all I was trying to get rid of.
What stood out with my experience was the ease of access of making payments and seeing how far along my progress is going. That was one of the bigger interactions with them that I definitely enjoyed. As far as customer support, I received a call from them one or two times because I would forget to move money from savings to checking, and I didn't get charged. One of the calls was checking up on me and making sure I'm not going through any hard times or any other financial struggles, just to see if my monthly payment was still good. The quality of service is great, especially with them being as transparent. I also had access to most of the information they told me on the phone through their website.
Since I'm debt-free now, I don't feel like I have a financial burden right now. If I had a friend who was looking for debt relief or asking about it, I'd definitely say to go for National Debt Relief because they try to keep your best interest in mind and tailor the payment process to suit you and not put you in such a financial strain. Also, their people were easy to talk to. They walked me through the process and made it sound like it wasn't gonna be a harder time on me. It was definitely excellent.

A friend of mine went through National Debt Relief and did good. Once you start, they never bug you about the money and as long as you had it set up as direct deposit and it was there, you had no problem with them. They were always on top of things. If they had one paid up, they would let me know as quickly as possible. They sent me updates on my progress through email and if I had questions, I just called them on the phone and they always had someone there to talk to. I’m done with the program and got my credit score back up. All my bills are paid. NDR helps you get things paid off easier and faster. I couldn't have done it on my own. It was a great experience. People should use NDR if they need to. It works.

National Debt Relief was what I saw at the moment and I went with them. They just sold themselves. The enrollment process didn't cost me anything and the reps were professional and promptly addressed my questions. There were a couple of tricky spots on the website, but customer service helped me through them quickly. If you're in a tight spot, National Debt Relief is a good solution. Their program minimized my monthly payments and since I started with them, I'm nearly completely out of debt. I graduated two months ago and was in the program for two years. I got my stuff paid off without costing me $700 a month.

My job caught on fire and I missed the payment. I asked them not to take a double payment out on me but they did it twice. After that, I had no more issues with them. I had to give a star just to get started. I would NOT seek help from the National Debt Relief and get a loan to settle your debt somewhere else. I started out with the national debt reliefs year ago. NDR told me I would be out of debt in four years. If I went with their program I did everything they told me to do after a year. The NDR offered me a loan by a company called reach which could pay off the remaining creditors and would prevent any creditors from taking me to court. I felt like I had to do it because I was on the verge of going to court for one of the creditors.
Secondly you also receive multiple automated calls from Matthew for updates to your account and when you call a representative has no idea what’s going on. They’re worthless. I was roped into a payoff by a bank that NDR recommended. Now I have a payment for the next seven years with a high interest rates the program which they told me my credit score would be fixed ARE liars. Don’t go with the national debt relief, find other ways or I’m even considering bankruptcy at this point because I am close to retirement.

Updated on 02/24/2026: National Debt Relief contacted me with some positive news to fully explain the miscommunication with the wrong information given to me by some of the customer representatives. Talking with Kiana the supervisor provided me some clarification to ease some of the stress and apologized for their mistakes and will ensure proper training is conducted to prevent situations like this from occurring. I was very pleased with her tone and attention to answer my issues with information to completely understand the process as to how it should have been handled in the first place. Thank you, Kiana, for your outstanding customer service and pleasant conversation to bring some mental and financial relief. My Prayers were answered.
Original Review: I enrolled with NDR last year in June time frame, I was instructed not to make any payments to any of my creditors for the next 90days to be delinquent. I was 150,000 in debt with credit cards and a personal loan, which I then heard about NDR will help relief the debts, which they negotiated to some point. I agreed to make 791 bi weekly payments to NDR and I was relieved at one point when I was able to get a hold of my finances to get a little bit of breathing room to make ends meet. Not understanding NDR has jurisdiction in some states, but not territories to negotiate personal loans that may affect you with a lawsuit, that NDR does not represent you on the terms set forth by the civic case lawsuit. NDR representative contacted me to agree on the terms which went from 23,000 to 53,000 was shocking! They did not relief my debt they increased my debt!
Thinking the payment will come out of my savings account and wanted me to increase my allotment a thousand dollars more, which in no way can I afford that, she also mention with agreement, after 6 months of payments, NDR will re-negotiate to have the debt reduced. Nowhere in this conversation did she mention I was going to pay this monthly fee!. I received an email with the attachment of stipulated settlement from the lawyers and civil court with the terms and to read and sign and send the signed copy to the lawyer via UPS and upload the signed document to NDR which i did. (DUMB!) within the week i get another call from Mary discussing my personal loan and the terms of 650 a month to the lawyer. I then pose the question would NDR be making payments to the lawyer? she indicated i would have to pay this on my own and terms to repay could be 72 months!
I was deeply trouble with this arrangement and felt I was mislead with how this program will make things better for me. It just added more stress to my financial situation and pray no other lawsuits come my way. Another thing is I needed some representation, so I requested for PRO-SE to assist with legal aspect to respond to letters served by the lawyer and civil court within 20 days in which I had ZERO help on this, so I took matters in my hands to respond. They were charging me 200 dollars for this request, but explained to them I did not get the help I needed, so my account was not charged according the Mary the NDR representative.
I Hated the fact that I have been speaking to different NDR representatives, which frustrates me to repeat myself. It will be more efficient if one person can handle each case and thoroughly explaining line for line. I am deeply disappointed with how this all ended up, I felt I was wrongfully misguided and taken advantage of to make matters worse for me. I felt I was scammed! I wouldn't recommend this program to people outside of the 50 states. It may have worked for some, but others like me, I have to suffer the consequences to find other ways to pay off this debt and get out of the program as soon as possible. Because I'm 63 years old, I felt they took advantage of my age as easy prey.. pray for me please..
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience. A member of our out client success team will be giving you a call as soon as possible to discuss this further.
Sincerely,
National Debt Relief

Perhaps, in fear I would change my mind again, she did not allow me to say much. Nevertheless, I needed some empathy at that time, for this was not an easy decision for me. So they helped me tremendously to get that under control and relieve me of the worries that I have about not being able to make their payments which were really high so I can’t say enough good things about the set up. I have from them. It is wonderful. It was free and it’s took care of my problems immediately. So I want to thank them for all that they’ve done for me. Excellent service.

I need a number to call so I can decline the offer after going through my bills. What they were suggesting to me was more than was more than what I could actually afford leaving me with less money to buy groceries and gas. I need to speak to whoever is necessary for me to cancel this And to make sure that my information is not used for other purposes or leaked out. Thank you very much.

When I signed up in October of 2024 I was current on all my accounts. National Debt Relief (NDR) DID NOT tell me my credit score would be affected and drop to just over 500. They also did not tell me that you can be SUED, which I was because after 11 months they NEVER contacted one of my creditors. 14 months after signing with NDR they still had not contacted three (3) of my creditors. After paying more than $7000 into the program I decided to file bankruptcy, something I didn't want to do. My credit was ruined because of them so it really didn't matter at this point.
