    We're retired and on very limited income, but we put ourselves out there helping our adult children which got us in a bind. We needed assistance so I did some research on the internet, looked at different options, and ended up with National Debt Relief. I've never had a negative experience with them. Anytime I've called them, they've been very helpful and professional. Working with NDR affected my life to the extent that I don't have bill collectors calling me constantly. It's affected me knowing mentally and emotionally that we're doing the best that we can and that we've taken the step to take care of our obligations and work them out with the assistance of NDR.

    They're helping us that I don't have to deal one on one with all these other companies. Recently they had an agreement with another company and it was gonna be a little more money than what we said we could afford monthly.     When I decided that I needed to have my debts consolidated into one monthly payment, I was afraid I would not get any help, or that it would be too complicated for me to understand. However, Christian ** was so patience with me and he explained everything in a way that I understood by reinforcing the information with "You understand that..." and I would get what he had explained to me. I thought it would be really scary, but the employees made me feel so comfortable with what I had decided to do. They were sooo helpful and being my age, I appreciated that they did not try and take advantage of me. I was treated with so much respect. I felt really good after talking with them.

    I had a great experience doing debt relief with National.     When I signed up for the National Debt Relief program, I was really being sold on it. When I talked to the person who had to initiate me, she kept saying I was fine. I didn’t realize certain things about the company and I'd never done anything like this before. I thought it was a debt consolidation company, and I didn’t know what I was getting into. I was a little naive going into it and I didn’t pay attention to anything. I handed everything over to them thinking, “They're gonna take care of it. Please don’t call me.”

    I didn’t know National Debt Relief would have to call me with offers. I thought I handed it over to a debt consolidation company and that all the accounts were closed. I didn’t know that all of the accounts that I had were still active and they were continuing to accrue interest rates. A few times they had offers, which made an increase in my monthly payment, and I never thought that that was going to happen. They said I could deny it, but I feel like I've gotten different information from people. I've had people say to me that they take a fee and that there are other companies like GreenPath that don’t.

    National Debt Relief made two really good settlements, but the last settlement was not a good one and I asked them to delete that. That same offer had come through many times and I denied it every time. Someone on the phone in a different office of a different division of National Debt Relief said I could remove that creditor from my debt, so I did that and they weren't happy about it. I also called and asked them if I could skip a payment and I would get back on track, and they said, “Sure, but the next time, give us five business days.” As it turned out, they debited the payment from my account anyway. My bank account is in New York, and I didn’t have funds so I was not gonna go. Of course, they fixed the fee in my account and it was about four days before I discovered it.

    I'm also in a situation where I'm doing this privately because I don’t want it associated with my domestic life. My mom has been really ill, so I have been taking care of her and had not worked. My boyfriend takes care of us and supports me and my life, but he doesn’t know about this debt. Now, I wonder if I made the right choice with National Debt Relief not really knowing what I was doing. I'm still with my mother and I have to skip another payment. I feel horrible to do that, but I just don’t have the money. On a whole, National Debt Relief has been very accommodating. Sometimes I find people abrupt but most of the reps and counselors have been very nice. It was my own ignorance that got me into this predicament in the first place.

    National Debt Relief has been fantastic. Anytime I had a question, I just call and they are more than willing to help and answer any questions. They've been really great at settling with our creditors and so we've been able to get good settlements at a payment we can afford each month. It takes the stress off. We had them to negotiate with anybody.

    We had quite a bit of debt and we're almost done within a year and a half. They guesstimated we could have done it in three years. It's incredible that now we can start getting money and we've gotten the habit of not using credit cards and so we feel comfortable that we cannot do that in the future. It created a good habit for us and that's a little bit of financial freedom to us to do what we need to. It's really a positive experience. They really work with you and want you to succeed. There are some times when we had to move a payment into our account and they were more than willing to work with us. If I had a payday that landed two days after a payment, I could extend when I paid. It was really flexible.

    I was trying to take out a loan online to pay off some bills and then National Debt Relief came up. They spoke to me and I told them the situation and they said that that if I take out a loan it'll make things worse and that I'll get myself in deeper debt. They said that what I should do, even if it may damage my credit a little bit temporarily, is to consolidate. I had done that years ago and thought it was a good idea. I asked how much it's gonna cost, and it was affordable. So I decided to do that and am really happy that I did it because they have done a great job.

    Anytime I've had questions, they've been answered. They've been straightforward with me, too. They have already taken care of eliminating three bills and I only got one more to go. At first, I got credit calls but as time went on they stopped and I got letters saying my payment has been made on time. Then I checked my credit score and it's changed a little for the better. I had so much credit so now it’s a little damaged, but the bottom line is I'm getting the debts paid. I feel progress which is the main thing. National Debt Relief has stuck by their word so I'm really satisfied with that.

    I had plans to look into buying a house, a mortgage for my family so I was looking at a way on how to get out of debt and start over in life. I call in every month and a half to get an update or feedback on how everything's going and so far, everything is going well.

    A friend of mine was enrolled with National Debt Relief and he talked about it and said it's a good company to enroll in. They're good in helping me out. I usually call them and ask what's going on and they reply through email, and I got an answer every time I had a question. The only thing that I didn't like was I got numerous calls from them asking me if I want to increase my monthly payment, but I told them the contract said that I'd be paying a fixed amount for a certain time. Then the last time that I called, I was told that I was told beforehand that my contract will end in two or three years, and now the girl said probably it's gonna be 5 years, so I said, "What happened?" I was not informed that it's gonna be for five years.

    National Debt Relief has to stick to what the contract says and what I signed. They should not call me and ask for more money to give them and then let me know that it's gonna be for two to three years, and then all of a sudden, extend it to five years. They have to stick to their rule for them to have good business and good service.

    I got in a situation where I had to look for help, so I was looking at several companies that deal with relief help. I signed up with National Debt Relief and their service has been good. They were honest and they didn't know they were going to be doing that quickly but it's amazing that they were able to resolve 60% of my debt. I've had a chance to breathe and I was overwhelmed. Also, I'm paying less than half of what my minimum payments were and they promised me it will be paid off in four years. If I kept minimum payments, I'd still have the debt or probably higher.     I lost my job and my wife and I were having a hard time paying our debt. The credit cards were killing us up to the point where we couldn't keep up with the minimum payments. We looked online and saw that National Debt Relief had the most higher reviews, so we decided to make a call. Everybody there was so nice. However, there was one call I made where this lady wanted me to be authorized by my wife. But I opened up the account and have been handling it since the beginning, so the person whom I spoke with, spoke with my wife in the first place, and then she authorized me to make all the moves in the account. I've called several times. But not long ago, I called again and this lady didn't want to give me any information because she said I wasn't authorized. I told her that she should review the notes because I was.

    Long story short, she wanted me to send an email from the email that is registered with National Debt. We did it again and I had to call again. There was also a confusion in the beginning where there was still one more card that we thought was in the program but wasn't, and we just found out last week. In fact, I have to send the statement for the card so we can add that card to the program. But other than that, we are very happy with the service and that we're almost done with the program. They've done what they could to get me out of debt and I've only got a few more weeks to go. I'm nearly finishing the program. It's been hard because I'm in a program to get rid of my credit card debt, and it takes half of my salary every two weeks but if you want to get out of debt, then it's something that has to be done.     My credit cards were getting a little out of control. I clicked on a link on National Debt Relief's site to request for more information and got a call back really quickly. And then within the next 24 to 48 hours, I was totally set up. They made the payments easier because I only have to pay one person versus two, three or four. NDR was able to do negotiations with my creditors that I wasn’t able to do. I had one instance where my negotiation actually cut the total amount that I ended up paying them in more than half. And if I have gone to that agency and tried to negotiate, I don’t believe I would have been that successful. My credit has been completely screwed over, but the amount that I’m actually paying out to the creditors is significantly less. But they need to get in the habit of leaving voicemails because I screen most of my calls. Other than that, it’s been pretty good overall.

    It was a good experience up to a point that I end up in a hardship. National Debt Relief was doing what it was supposed to until I lost one of my jobs and I could not afford $410 monthly to take care of those accounts. So I asked National Debt Relief to close the program but they said, they’ll put me on hold and we’ll see what happens in December. But they went ahead and withdrew $400 and some dollars leaving my account a negative $90, putting me in a difficult situation. It is my fault, to a certain extent, because I should’ve called. But my understanding was that we were going to talk, but it didn’t happen that way. I called them and they could not help me. They said they cannot do anything and they're going to have to drop me from the system. But, I will still recommend them to someone. People will just need to clarify very well and that National Debt Relief has to call them before doing anything so these kinds of issues don't come up.

    National Debt Relief has always been good except for one time. The lady didn't seem like she really wanted to help me. Originally, I had the money coming out from a different bank account every other Friday. The bank account that it was coming out of might pay within after the money was called out. And so, a bunch of times, it would get kicked back. There wasn't a fund.

    When I called the bank, they were like, "Oh, it must be them. How they have it arranged." So I called National Debt and they said, "Well, it has to do with the bank." So, I was calling for a while to say, "Can you change the day?" Then one day I said, "So I don't have to call and interrupt you guys all the time, can you just push them on out to Saturday?" And the lady said, "No, that would take too much work." Because she would have it done individually. I was like, "Okay. Well, I guess she's honest." And I said, "Okay, you know, I didn't mind calling. It's not a big deal." That was kinda funny, but it didn't bother me. I just ended up pushing it to a different bank account. It actually comes out later in the day, so I guess it had to do it with the bank. It gives time for my money to come in. I've never seen anything come out like that. But, it's been great. Whenever I called National Debt Relief, they've answered, helped and gave guidance.

    I chose to work with National Debt Relief for the ease of transitioning everything over to one source. I don't have to pay back so much of the debt that I owed all at once.     National Debt Relief was good. In the beginning things were going smooth but in the end there are a couple of things I was expecting differently, like when I used to call and after a long hold they told me I have two more creditors. And I said, "Actually, it's only one now, so that I used a second time." Then they agreed and said I'm right that it's only one. And then I said, "Okay. I think that this is the last payment" and they said, "No, I don't think so." I said, "Yeah. I know it's the last payment."

    It's worse sometimes like more time consuming than what I thought it would be. The last payment they kept saying that they miscalculated $37 more. I said, "Okay, go ahead and take $37." And then a call would come that actually there is another $27 needed. But then since it was like small amount, I always let it go. Moreover, sometimes when I had a meeting to go and I was running and I said, “Oh, I have to ask them a question.” So that call was never two minutes, it ends like 30 minutes and it's annoying.

    Other than that the final thing is I thought they will send me an email that I have completely graduated or if the program is completed. I was told I will and then the lady said, “No. You don’t get an email. That’s it.” I am like done with it and it would be good to me if I have something written in front of me and I'm reading it and saying okay, this program is over. She went like "no" and then she said I have a $10 refund which they're going to send to me. I said, "I might be because they kept changing in the end like maybe when he said $27, it was $17, so that's why they're sending me back $10." Those kind of little things were confusing to me and National Debt Relief is a good reputable company, everybody should be in the same page or their employees should be a little more trained. But besides the little things, otherwise, it was comfortable with National Debt Relief.

    I was having many credit card issues. I've already done bankruptcy over ten years ago when I got divorced and I didn’t want to go that route. If I could at least reconcile or settle and pay people something, it’s better off. I couldn’t pay my minimum requirements anymore and I was struggling and getting overdrawn in the bank to pay people so I couldn’t afford to pay the debt that I had consumed. So I decided to go with National Debt Relief and I am happy with their services till now. Their team at National Debt Relief was extremely courteous. I could call, e-mail or fax them. They get back to me immediately, within 24 hours with an answer. And they'll also call or email when there’s an offer to settle. Working with them has been easy and they’re very good about being clear.

    However, my credit is ruined. Using them is right now the equivalent of having a bankruptcy. Once all the accounts are done, in the number of years that it's going to take, then I’ll know if it’s true what they say which is that the credit bounces back up and starts to increase and get better because I’ve settled.     My wife and I filed for bankruptcy years ago and I didn’t want to do it again. Things were starting to get tight and uncomfortable so we started looking around for alternatives.     When I first called, I was asking about the program and they weren't very nice, they were pushy that you would feel that you're not going to be able to get out of this on your own. But when I got started the program it got better and then they dropped the ball for three months. Then I had to talk to management and then higher management and supposedly they were giving me special treatment to the point where I can call the manager instead of one of the staff. They would transfer me up and they admitted they dropped the ball and were going to take care of calling some of the creditors, which they did, but it could have been avoided two months ago. So now everyone that I'm dealing with is satisfactory and I'm happy with the service.

    I had a cruise holiday and started out with over $11,000 worth of debt. The reason I had to go through the debt consolidation was because my fiance cheated on me and I had a broken engagement.     I could no longer deal with the offers that the credit card companies were presenting to me. National Debt Relief's team seemed amazing and able to answer all of my questions. I had a lot of concerns and doubt about the program but they were very clear and detailed about what it is that they do and the amount of the attorneys' fees. They're very fast. I thought that I had to keep a certain balance amount to have the attorneys work on the negotiations for each card that I had lifted, but with my second one they actually moved on without my having that balance. They knew my concerns, I wanted to pay my debts off. They've been pushing to get all my debt issues resolved for me even though I don't have the amount in my savings account, and it's been something way more than I expected.     I looked into debt relief because I was trying to figure out how to get my debt under control. I could barely afford making the minimum payment anymore. This was getting me nowhere, so I looked into debt consolidation, but that didn't seem to be the best plan, partially because of the amount of debt I had to get to qualify. I did some research, made a web search, and looked at a number of websites and reviews, and I went with National Debt Relief because everything about them seemed to be fairly positive.

    The team at National Debt Relief have been really good to work with. They're easy to contact and everybody who I contact can provide whatever information I need. For a little while, I was getting called monthly, but that's not happening anymore, and instead they have contacted me whenever there is some activity on my account, such as when they've negotiated a settlement. There have been times when I couldn't afford what they were suggesting because they wanted extra money, but so far they've worked with me and managed to make everything work.

    It's only been a year that I've been with them and over half of my debt has either been paid or is in the process of being paid. They're doing a really good job. It has certainly relieved some of the pressures as far as payments. We have spent without using any credit card for about a year now and are still able to make ends meet, including the payments for National Debt Relief's services. I feel like we're in the right direction. I'd recommend National Debt Relief to a friend. All in all, they've done exactly as they've promised.

    I had very good interactions with the National Debt Relief representatives. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. Aside from a few very small hiccups along the way, it's been 90% like perfect and no flaw. There had been a couple of times when we've had some miscommunication.
