    I signed up for this program through the Internet, after completion of information needed I submitted through the Internet and received a follow-up call within an hour with a Debt Specialist. The Debt Specialist was very courteous, understanding and made me feel better about myself. I had been struggling for months, never behind on any of my credit card or personal loan bills and found the courage to proceed with National Debt Relief program. After completion of necessary forms that needed to be filled out, I was approved and then I received a Welcome Call from Customer Service.

    There was a legal form that I had to sign, the Customer Service Representative went over it to make sure I knew what I was signing and asked if I had and questions, which I did and he answered to my satisfaction. Now, I wait for a negotiated dollar amount which I will need to approve and then I will start to pay off my creditors. I will feel as if a Big Brick has been lifted off of me.

    I didn't want to go into debt and bankruptcy was the least thing I wanted. I needed debt relief help, so I looked into it. I signed up for the services of National Debt Relief about a year ago. The rep was very friendly and compassionate, and said, "We're here to help you." He explained everything thoroughly. He said, "We get all your information, run your credit, and see how much debt you are in. We can save you about 25% or up to 50%. We will help you manage what we need to do. We have a third party bank that the money goes in. Then we draw from the money that's accumulated in that separate bank account. It is your money all the time. You can quit the program whenever you want and there's no penalty in that." I like that. It was nice and sounded good. The other thing that I like was that they were registered with the Better Business Bureau, so they are legitimate.

    Working with them has made it a lot easier and manageable for me, because they take the money right out of my account, and then they work on trying to solve these credit card bills that I have. Some are small and some are really big. I have 10 credit card debts that they're working on, and they have already solved a couple of them. They definitely keep me informed on every move they do. They're very sympathetic and understanding.

    However, one time out of all the times I'd spoken with these people, I had someone with a very small attitude. Everybody was so nice, that for there to be somebody with so small type of attitude and then all of a sudden was barking a little, I need to let somebody know. That wasn't cool. It makes a person feel a little uneasy when they're dealing with my money. But they took care of it and they were understanding about it. They spoke to the person and everything was resolved. Once again, I got back on the bandwagon and I was really happy with the work they do.

    I shopped a few different debt settlement companies and my interactions with National Debt Relief appeared to be the most promising. They would do what they actually said that they would do so in that sense I had to follow through. I also looked at its rating on the Better Business Bureau and found that it was the top-rated available. I did call and inquire to get information. The staff is very polite and they're always willing to explain things to me when I'm not exactly very well-minded in economic policies. They have always walked me through it very patiently.

    So far it has not been especially easy. I'm only about a year into the program and since I have started, I've had a couple of credit card companies call me and close my accounts. But that's expected though because I've got cards that I'm not making payments on. That's understandable. On that same note, it has provided a lot of stress relief, especially for my wife who was very overwhelmed. So I'm very thankful for the program.

    I was getting close to paying off one of my vehicles and I always wanted to get a brand new vehicle but with my credit score being where it was at, I wasn't gonna get approved anywhere. I wanted to fix it so I googled how to fix my credit and National Debt Relief was the first one to pop up. I looked into it, gave them a call, and asked what I needed to do and how it works. I wanted to be on safe side and they never judged me on the questions I asked. They always answered questions and always made me feel good about working with them. They explained to me how it works that I pay every time I get paid and it eventually builds up money and then they will start settling some of the stuff that's on my credit. It was real easy and I didn't have to pay money upfront. They were taking it out of my check automatically as I went, which was a good thing for me and what I like the most. I don't have to sit, log in and go and pay a bill.

    Working with National Debt Relief put me on track to pay the bills that I didn't think I was gonna pay anytime soon. At first, I was kinda iffy because I've never dealt with anything like it before. So whenever they started getting some accounts charged off or settled out, it made me feel really good about where my money was going and was making the rest of the accounts look smaller. I got my whole self to keep paying it, to be done with and so in that way I could move on. Hence, I'll recommend to anybody who needed to fix their credit to go to National Debt Relief.

    I've had a lot of health issues with nine years of cancer battles and I could see that I was just not gonna get out of my debt. It was out of control. My experience when I first reached out to National Debt Relief was perfect. The rep, David, was really good. And they are right to the point, very professional, and very considerate. They are really easy to get a hold of. And I did sign up for the extra coverage with the legal representation so for example, one creditor ignores everything and turns me to collections and a law firm, National Debt Relief will handle it.     I looked through the different companies online to get help with my credit and National Debt Relief showed up. They have very good reviews. My credit was fantastic but for eight months, I had to take care of my dad so I was behind all loans for medical bills. I want to pay my debt but I couldn't because it was too much. NDR submitted a program and they said it's going to be 48 months. I have six months to add if I want to add any debt. Then we agreed on an amount to pay monthly. Whenever I call their staff, they called me back. They got me three settlements so I know they're working. So far I'm happy but these things take time. For me to see the results, it's going to be at least a year.

They made me feel comfortable enough knowing that they weren't a crook, that's why I went to them. So far, so good. The bills that I owe stopped calling, so that's a positive thing.     My job gave me a big pay cut so I couldn’t afford to deal with my debt anymore, so I had to seek the help of National Debt Relief. Some of their reps were very helpful and some were not. In fact, in my call before my last call with them, I asked for some information and the guy didn’t seem he wanted to help out at all. He gave a brief run-through of a script he was reading. I’ve had a couple of calls that way. A lot of my calls has a little run-around. Either some of the information wasn’t thrown out or either I forgot it, or I didn’t understand it when I first went through it all. For instance, they said there were negotiation fees but they didn’t really break it down when I first went through it. So the negotiation fees ended up more than I expected.

    I’m glad it’s done but a heads-up on how they figured the negotiation fees would have been nice when they first talk to the people. And there was more confusion with the rest of the calls because when I talk to one person I get one story, and when I call back a month or so later, I get a completely different story. They're not really explaining things clearly therefore, there’s a lot of confusion. But I did have a few ladies that I talked to that were very helpful and resolved some of my confusion quite easily. Now, I don’t have the debt I had and it gave me a little bit more understanding of how they operate.

    I researched National Debt Relief out of several listings of debt settlement companies then looked them up and contacted them. I gave them a listing of all my creditors and they looked up my credit report and we came to a structured payment agreement based on the number of creditors that I can put into the program. From there, we decided how much I can afford to pay monthly to pay off those creditors and so we set up a certain amount that would come out of my checking account bi-weekly. Then whenever they reach a settlement arrangement, they contact me by email and phone call and ask me if I want to settle with a creditor based on the settlement amount that they were able to get for me.

    National Debt Relief has been good with working with my creditors and helping to pay off my debt. They've paid off two and I have a third one that's gonna be setup and payment's gonna be made this month. They've been working really good on my behalf and saving me money on the total balance of my debt. They seem to be really reasonable to accommodate me to try to make it as easy on me as possible to try to still continually get my debt paid and making some arrangements if I need to stop a payment or if I can't make a monthly payment or even restructure how a payment is gonna be made.

I've had telephone and email contact, and now I have access to a page to monitor how everything is being broken down. One time I got called out and they said that they have a debtor that has agreed to settle but in addition to all the monthly payments I've been making, they need x number of dollars right then in order to settle. That was out of the blue with no warning. I also don't hear a lot from them. Overall I hope that everything works out in the three-year time span that they've laid out.     The few times that I called National Debt Relief, they were very helpful especially that they notify me in different ways, if an arrangement has been done, and what is going to be the conditions of the arrangement, and if they might approve it. The only thing is that the process is slow. Setting up an arrangement with each vendor is taking too long and it really depends on the consolidation company making that. But other than that, everything is going fine. The consolidation is really working for me. It's helping me go through my hardships. Also, communication has been on time and it's been working great.

    When I was maxed out on my credit cards and VA disability, I called National Debt Relief. After I talked to one person, immediately, the ball was rolling. That person definitely knew the job and had a really good business and education, and that's the doorway opening. National helped me out a bunch. Anytime I call, I'm only on hold for 20 seconds. When the VA stopped my pay for a couple of months, I was able to call them and pull out money from my savings account and they were able to move the money around so that I'd still able to pay off my debt. And whenever I have the extra money, I just send it straight to them. I call them and they pull it right off my account. Other than my mortgage, I will be debt-free eight months from now. If I'd done it through the conventional ways, I'd be swimming in debt for the next six years, at least. I'd recommend them to anyone who has a lot of credit card debt. I had a great time with National and I would do it again.

    We're retired and on very limited income, but we put ourselves out there helping our adult children which got us in a bind.     When I decided that I needed to have my debts consolidated into one monthly payment, I was afraid I would not get any help, or that it would be too complicated for me to understand.     When I signed up for the National Debt Relief program, I was really being sold on it. When I talked to the person who had to initiate me, she kept saying I was fine. I didn’t realize certain things about the company and I'd never done anything like this before. I thought it was a debt consolidation company, and I didn’t know what I was getting into. I was a little naive going into it and I didn’t pay attention to anything. I handed everything over to them thinking, “They're gonna take care of it. Please don’t call me.”

    I didn’t know National Debt Relief would have to call me with offers. I thought I handed it over to a debt consolidation company and that all the accounts were closed. I didn’t know that all of the accounts that I had were still active and they were continuing to accrue interest rates. A few times they had offers, which made an increase in my monthly payment, and I never thought that that was going to happen. They said I could deny it, but I feel like I've gotten different information from people. I've had people say to me that they take a fee and that there are other companies like GreenPath that don’t.

    National Debt Relief made two really good settlements, but the last settlement was not a good one and I asked them to delete that. That same offer had come through many times and I denied it every time. Someone on the phone in a different office of a different division of National Debt Relief said I could remove that creditor from my debt, so I did that and they weren't happy about it. I also called and asked them if I could skip a payment and I would get back on track, and they said, “Sure, but the next time, give us five business days.” As it turned out, they debited the payment from my account anyway. My bank account is in New York, and I didn’t have funds so I was not gonna go. Of course, they fixed the fee in my account and it was about four days before I discovered it.

    I'm also in a situation where I'm doing this privately because I don’t want it associated with my domestic life. My mom has been really ill, so I have been taking care of her and had not worked. My boyfriend takes care of us and supports me and my life, but he doesn’t know about this debt. Now, I wonder if I made the right choice with National Debt Relief not really knowing what I was doing. I'm still with my mother and I have to skip another payment. I feel horrible to do that, but I just don’t have the money. On a whole, National Debt Relief has been very accommodating. Sometimes I find people abrupt but most of the reps and counselors have been very nice. It was my own ignorance that got me into this predicament in the first place.

    I was trying to take out a loan online to pay off some bills and then National Debt Relief came up. They spoke to me and I told them the situation and they said that that if I take out a loan it'll make things worse and that I'll get myself in deeper debt. They said that what I should do, even if it may damage my credit a little bit temporarily, is to consolidate. I had done that years ago and thought it was a good idea. I asked how much it's gonna cost, and it was affordable. So I decided to do that and am really happy that I did it because they have done a great job.

    National Debt Relief has been fantastic. Anytime I had a question, I just call and they are more than willing to help and answer any questions. They've been really great at settling with our creditors and so we've been able to get good settlements at a payment we can afford each month. It takes the stress off. We had them to negotiate with anybody.

    We had quite a bit of debt and we're almost done within a year and a half. They guesstimated we could have done it in three years. It's incredible that now we can start getting money and we've gotten the habit of not using credit cards and so we feel comfortable that we cannot do that in the future. It created a good habit for us and that's a little bit of financial freedom to us to do what we need to. It's really a positive experience. They really work with you and want you to succeed.     A friend of mine was enrolled with National Debt Relief and he talked about it and said it's a good company to enroll in. They're good in helping me out. I usually call them and ask what's going on and they reply through email, and I got an answer every time I had a question. The only thing that I didn't like was I got numerous calls from them asking me if I want to increase my monthly payment, but I told them the contract said that I'd be paying a fixed amount for a certain time. Then the last time that I called, I was told that I was told beforehand that my contract will end in two or three years, and now the girl said probably it's gonna be 5 years, so I said, "What happened?" I was not informed that it's gonna be for five years.

    National Debt Relief has to stick to what the contract says and what I signed. They should not call me and ask for more money to give them and then let me know that it's gonna be for two to three years, and then all of a sudden, extend it to five years. They have to stick to their rule for them to have good business and good service.

    I got in a situation where I had to look for help, so I was looking at several companies that deal with relief help. I signed up with National Debt Relief and their service has been good. They were honest and they didn't know they were going to be doing that quickly but it's amazing that they were able to resolve 60% of my debt. I've had a chance to breathe and I was overwhelmed. Also, I'm paying less than half of what my minimum payments were and they promised me it will be paid off in four years. If I kept minimum payments, I'd still have the debt or probably higher.
