When I contacted National Debt Relief initially, I was curious what services they had to offer. Their representative walked me through the process and it seemed like it was going to be beneficial for me in my situation. I chewed on it for a while before I went through with it. They laid out all the options for me to not have to go through the litigation and collections. They talked about any equity I had that I could liquidate and try to settle some of those debts. We also discussed bankruptcy as an option. Some of their associated fees are a little high, so I have to make some money to make those work. But I started with about six credit cards and I since had three of them paid off.

Carlos was a very nice to me, and explain the program, great call. Answered all my questions, I'm going through a very hard time now, nice to know someone is helping me right now. I wish I would of called a long time ago.

A few years back, I looked into some debt relief programs but didn't like how they were presenting the program to me and I felt pressured to get into it. So I did research in the last few years and started looking into it again and that's when I found National Debt Relief and Freedom Debt Relief. But I didn't feel comfortable with Freedom because I saw exactly the same deal as the last time. I felt pressured and their rep would leave me a number of voicemails pressuring me to get into the program. On the other hand, the guys from National were all very nice and not pressuring at all so I felt really comfortable going with them.

National Debt Relief went through all the debt that I had and whatever was unsecured is what they wrote down so they negotiate that. The only thing I'm really upset about was they didn't negotiate the smaller debt first, which they probably should have. Also they did not explain to me from the get-go how much they were gonna charge me, percentage-wise for each negotiation. But other than that they did a good job and they have all been very nice to me. So far, they have been able to get some of my debt relieved off my head. The only thing about this is it's still hanging on to my credit.

I was doing my own research and National Debt Relief seemed they were one of the better ones, so I went with them. When we first got the program, it was just one amount. Then later on, National Debt Relief came back and said they needed more. I tried to work with that and I've been giving them almost $1,000 a month. I’m trying to do everything I can but I've gotten so behind on my other bills and I’m on the verge of losing my house because of back property taxes. I might have to stop the program for a little bit. I know if I stop it, I’m gonna be pulled from it, but I can’t lose my house. I gotta call them to see where I stand. They used to send me the little emails all the time, but I haven’t received an email from them in about six months now. I hope they will be able to work with me because I'd hate to have to pull out of the program. I've been fairly happy and I've been seeing my credit score gradually go up since I worked with them.

I explained to them what I had and what my credit card was. Then they told me the best plan, how much I will pay them and how I can settle all them. They've been so good and so consistent. It's not something anyone wants to deal with, but having talked to these people at NDR they made a point to be comforting and non-judgmental. I was having a problem with other debt relief people, and I went on the internet and came across National Debt Relief. I liked the report I got on them so I called them up and it started as of then. In the beginning I was very upset because they didn't comply with what they said. But then after a while they were constantly calling and reassuring me and I gave it time, so then I felt better.

I called National Debt Relief and did this whole thing because of medical reasons. I've had several of my debts turned over to collection agencies and I have had a couple of them just charged off. I was reading about National Debt Relief and a couple of other ones, and National Debt Relief's rating was tops. The initial consultations that I had with them were very good. They were right on the ball and got everything rolling really quickly. They told me exactly what to do, how to do it, and how to change everything on my internet thing. However, I don’t feel like they’re contacting my creditors like they should have. They are still calling me. So, I was a little disappointed in that. And as far as them following through with what they said they were going to do once I said okay and started paying them, I feel they’ve dropped the ball. And they’re very hard to get a hold of now. They don’t return phone calls or emails. I finally gave up after five or six times.

I needed National Debt Relief to deal with loan me and another unsecured loan. Another debt relief program would not deal with loan me. Once she said she deals with unsecured loan totally freed me. She proved to me that they are performance based.

Two years ago National Debt Relief gave us a call, sent us some information and we read over it. Their team is friendly but not as knowledgeable as I wanted them to be. Whenever I call, no one knows what's going on with the file. They say that anyone could answer my question but I end up getting moved over to someone else who says, "I can't handle it at my level." I'd rather them be more knowledgeable on their processes and the ability to explain it differently. I'm still paying the same amount of money out-of-pocket and by having it done in four years, my credit is gonna suffer or it is suffering for the next four years. Two years after I'm done, it will probably take two more years to get up to a healthy 750 or above. It still stings to have my credit suffer so much but I'm glad that we made the choice to get out of debt sooner.

National Debt Relief has been good and we feel a little bit less obligated. We know we’re paying off debt now, so it’s nice instead of just sitting there when our debt just stays the same or goes up and we’re not spending any money. The guy that started this off was very punctual. He called when he said he was gonna call and he was able to communicate with us pretty well.

My phone was off the hook 24 hours. I had like four cards that were going into collection. I couldn't be on the phone negotiating and I needed help. Working with the people at National Debt Relief has been very good. It helped me calm down a little, knowing that everything was under control. They send me a statement every other week. They were supposed to mail me the power of attorney form, but I haven’t seen it come in the mail. National Debt relief is what I can afford. They try to squeeze more out of me. But I have to put my feet down because I'm also paying off the IRS and American Express. Now, everything is settled. It's just a matter of me, paying up. I can now pay attention to more important things.

When everything became overwhelming I sought for relief help. After looking at several companies, a lot of them charge $150 and even more, to pull out of your account or they charge monthly service fees that are ridiculous to be able to use them. National Debt Relief was the only one that did not. They're definitely reasonable, price-wise.

WE have not progressed far enough to know. I had a bad experience with a debt relief firm several years ago. They did not negotiating until their fee was paid, which took almost a year. By that time two judgments were obtained against me. They told me to not bother. They sent a representative to both hearing. After about three years they called me and said everything was paid and settled. I soon found out differently. When I tried to contact them, their phone was disconnected and they were out of business. This experience makes me very worried about Debt relief service. He was VERY impatient and EXTREMELY unprofessional. He would not listen to me when I asked him to slow down talking & yawning so I could better understand the program. When I had questions he responded to them as if it was annoying him to have to stop during scripted speak and attempt to answer, which he never fully did. At one point I heard him hold phone back and laugh. This is No laughing matter to my husband and Myself. His job i.e. To welcome us & understand program and I feel he did a terrible job with it, but exceeded in making a uncomfortable situation as client feel worse. Still am not completely understanding program but am slowly learning from my debtors when I tell them that I'm Enrolled in a debt relief program.

I had a series of financial hardships that occurred within a year and they compounded on top of each other. I had some debt that we had promised to pay back and I knew that I couldn't, given the situations that occurred. National Debt Relief called shortly after I went with them and asked if I could contribute more money than I already promised, which I didn't like. But they explained that I didn't have to since they were trying to make deals with other clients. It just took me a while to understand the process. They’re really knowledgeable and helpful. When I call about something, they direct me to the right information. It was also fairly easy to enroll. They were really accommodating and they helped me through filling out the forms.

I was looking for somebody to help me. I did a little research and National Debt Relief was one of the companies that popped up. I called them and the initial interview that I had with one of the fellows there. He explained to me the steps that would be taken and the waiting time. So I’m waiting for a response from National Debt Relief in terms of when they’re going to start taking care of the five more creditors. Everything is doing what it's supposed to be doing but there's no follow through. They said to check back with them in a few months and then some of the stuff would start reflecting on my credit. I just expected a bit more feedback. Also, I still get emails and mail from creditors they're dealing with saying I still owe them. There's a missing link between the two. But apart from those, they were able to consolidate and lower my interest rate. It's paid off two out of the four bills and that's always a great thing. I'm very satisfied with my experience and would definitely recommend National Debt Relief.

So, I figured I would try debt relief service first. I had used an organization called Gina's Credit Management years ago. Now that I needed to go back into it again, I saw that Gina's wasn't available. So, I searched online and National Debt Relief had some of the highest reviews, so I went with them.

The first person at National Debt Relief that I spoke to was very helpful. He was very attentive and open to help if I needed to call them for feedback or follow-ups. I've taken a dent on my credit score, and it closed a few doors when it comes to doing any type of big purchases like a car, or a house. I'm just taking debts because some of my credit cards are still affecting my score. So once that is done, I'll be debt-free and hopefully it won't go there back again.
