When I first contacted this company online, I received a phone call the next morning. Everything was explained in terms I could understand. So quick and painless, I feel an amazing sense of relief knowing that I'll pay back to the creditors and avoid filing a bankruptcy. I'd recommend this program to anyone who has fell upon some bad luck and just need a little bit of help. After my husband passed away, I was afraid this might happen. Going from 2 incomes to 1 income was devastating. I've been trying to stay above water for 5 years and just realized that I cannot do it without a little help. All aspects of this service were explained to me in a way that was friendly and easy to understand. This can be an intimidating conversation to have. I spoke with a gentleman that was open to any questions I had and knowledgeable in his answers.

National Debt Relief is helping me out but their rates are high. I paid 50-50 as far as their fee and the settlement amount so if it was 25% of the fee and that certain settlement, it will be a lot better for me. But one thing they don't indulge is that the savings that I get from these settlements come back to me from the IRS at 33% of what they knocked off so on top of that 22%, the IRS charges me 33% and that's if the settlement company filed their claim for their losses. It was something I didn't understand until after I was two years in and I started getting letters from the IRS about additional income. So now on top of the $590 I pay National Debt Relief every month, I have a bill for the IRS for the next year and a half for $150 a month. It's still cheaper than paying it all straight out, but I'm only ending with about a 20% decrease.

We were a low-income family and had some credit cards. We started doing some research and National Debt Relief was the first or second-rated company, as far as consumer ratings. The rep that assisted us with paying the account and gathered all of our information was real helpful and good about following up and keeping us informed, as far as the process. Every time there was something new, he would give me a call and let me know. Every time we've called in to switch up the payment or if we can't make it that month, they're always real good about explaining the process and making sure that we'd get back on track.

It was one of the best experiences that I have ever had. They were fast and very good. I never had to worry about anything at all. National Debt took care of all of my and my wife's needs. Easy process so far. They're doing their job and they haven't made me feel I had to go out of my way to do anything other than what they ask me. They've been courteous and easy to work with. They'll be working with me for three years. I was having to try and juggle which one I'd pay, and which one I won't. It’s a lot to keep track of and figure out what to do and contact them when you are behind. But now, I don't have to do that because I just pay National Debt Relief and they’re taking care of it for me. But a major benefit of working with is not having to deal with those I owe individually on my own.

Just recently applied to be debt free, and customer service is very helpful. Nadirah ** answered all my questions. She is very helpful. She walks me through what to do and she continuously checking up on us constantly if we got her emails. And does not even care if she has to call back just to make sure we know what we were doing. Nadirah, told us what to expect in an hour, what to sign and to make sure to do all these within 24hrs. She gives us time/ due date so her client is aware what to expect next. I cannot wait to have all these be paid off.

I needed help paying off my debt, and the representatives from National Debt Relief were super helpful. Everything went really smoothly and quicker than I expected. I really appreciate their overt communication. They kept me in the loop on what’s happening with my accounts and any cases they can close.

Christmas had just put me over the limit with my credit cards, and I was having a hard time getting caught up. I was getting nowhere. I went online and looked up debt consolidation and National Debt Relief were the first people to pull up. They were on TV a lot and that's what made me interested in them. Their service is more about getting rid of debt than relief help. They worked with a handful of creditors. I owed $2,000 to $3,000 way back in 2008 and they deducted it down to $200. That made me really impressed with them. They also kept in communication with me with a lot of things that were going on and called me when they had deals that I have the option of declining or telling them to go back and negotiate. My credit scores went up with them with the debt being settled and they have declined my income-debt ratio. Overall I will recommend them.

I was trying to get a loan but I couldn't get one and National Debt Relief is the only other avenue that I could push through. It's been an up-and-down battle per se. One of the cases went into a lawsuit, which I felt was their fault. I sent them the information from the attorney's office so that they could contact the company within the timeframe that was allotted and listed in the letter but they didn't contact them until a month or so after. The company went ahead and took a lawsuit out against me. Then, two or three days after I called back to scream, yell and complain about it, all of a sudden, a settlement materialized. But as far as it goes with that, I wasn't very happy at all. I've worked for a law firm for the last 15 years and we do debt collections and stuff of that nature. I could have used my law firm to take care of all this but I don't want anybody in my personal business.

After researching many options for my case, I can't be more satisfied with National Debt Relief. They were both professional and considerate with and explained in detail any questions I had. There are some things that I've had problems as far as National Debt Relief's website's user interface. Contacting them and getting on their website is not as convenient as just being able to call. But when I call, everybody has been very helpful and they are easy to contact.

I had a bunch of credit cards that I was not able to handle anymore so I worked with National Debt Relief. When I signed up, I talked to a very nice gentleman who was always available to talk to. All of them have made the process very pleasant and painless. A couple of them actually have used National Debt Relief's service, so they knew what I was going through. There were seven cards so I was in deep, and my husband had no idea until I finally told him and he was really mad.

It was a great experience altogether. I would recommend to anyone I know. They are full of great information and are willing to walk you through the whole process. I am happy with the service that I have received to date. I'm going to be credit card debt free in 3 years.

Pleasantly, after a brief, initial, possible eligibility contact, I was told it was most likely National Debt Relief could be of assistance with my upcoming higher APR credit bills. There was a shortage of my cell phone minutes and I unresponsively missed the return call from the professional debt relief consultant that took my preliminary debt information. The cell phone problem was resolved, I immediately contacted the consultant and there was no problem in efficiently moving forward with the debt relief application.

So far, I've had a good experience with NDR. The set-up process was easy and well-explained. The debt relief team was able to negotiate on my behalf and eliminate large percentages of my old amount. I know that ’16, last year, I've been told my accounts have already been paid off. They wouldn’t have paid off on my own. I've been very satisfied so far. It was a great decision to get me on the pathway to financial freedom.

I was spending more on the cards than I was able to put towards them and I just couldn’t do it anymore. It has been fairly well talking to their representatives. However, there was one that didn’t go well. It was on the first settlement and the conversation was very confusing. The guy wasn’t describing to me what was going on and it was annoying. I just wasn’t understanding exactly what he was saying, and I had to get someone else on the line to explain it to me.

Our experience has been less than gratifying. We had the runaround not to mention the harassing phone calls over paperwork that we had to tell everyone we spoke with we require hard copy paper. We had no computer available for us to utilize. I definitely will not recommend this program to anyone I know, in fact I'll tell it will be in their best interest to utilize another program.

I searched online and National Debt Relief had good reviews, ratings and that they can be trusted. Anything that comes up, they notify me. It's good. None of my debts has been cleared, but it's enough for our process. We made a settlement plan with two of them and some are still pending. I am on the 30-month program. The more you pay, the sooner it's going to be. I'm now paying more than what we had settled for but they have not given me an estimate of how many months it's going to take. It’s a bit of a disappointment.

I could afford to make my payments but it was leaving me with almost nothing at the end of the month. So, I had to do something to calm it down. The reps at National Debt Relief were really helpful and answered a lot of questions. But they left some pretty big details out when I first signed up. The rep told me it’s gonna take 12 months to a year and a half but now I'm told that it’s gonna take up to three years. And that’s terrible to me. I would never have signed up if it was gonna take that long. But my payments every single month have dropped dramatically. I’m able to take mini vacations because I can afford it now. They really destroyed a lot of my debt, which is amazing.

I was trying to get my debt consolidated so I got in touch with National Debt Relief. They were very helpful. They tried to walk me through step-by-step. I could call them if I had any questions. They were very concerned, and called me to make sure everything was okay. They were very easy to get a hold of and they’ve reached out several times even when I wasn’t able to call them back. But right now, I had to put a hold on everything because I had a loss of income. And they gave me until June to call them back to see when we can restart everything. Was with National Debt Relief for over a year. They only settled two accounts once the creditors brought a lawsuit. Between the settlement and their fees didn't really save any money. End up settling accounts on my own within one month and saved more money. Not sure why they dragged and played around, wasn't too happy they charged me fees for a settlement that got dropped. Had to contact BBB in order to get my money back, again they work but ruin your credit when you can contact the creditors and get the same settlement amounts without having to pay fees.

I don't know if I did not understand correctly, but either my medical bills were not included for a short amount individually. Total was an estimated amount of $900. I've got a few credit cards that are still maxed out. Some of the accounts have been closed because of NDR. Bottom-line is I looked into relief help because of the credit card debt. Initially I called in and they broke everything down for me. I provided credit card information and through email, I did a digital signature on a contract. One of the representatives will call me when they have reached a settlement or an agreement with one of my creditors and they will tell me, “okay, based off of the funds that you have in your account, we can pay this off completely or a portion and then you will have to pay X million dollars to meet the rest of the payout”.

I can't explain the weight that's been lifted since finishing this program (and finishing early to boot!) NDR was so much help. They even called me to tell me I was done about 6 months earlier than I had originally been scheduled. I would absolutely recommend them!

And because they accredit National Debt Relief an A plus while other locations didn’t really have great ratings or weren’t on BBB at all, I decided to sign up with National. But it turns out that it wasn’t everything I expected it to be. I contacted them to ask why it’s taking so long to reflect on my credit report that my debts are being taken care of. When I spoke with them they said that they told me this in the beginning. I've been on the program since August but so far, they have only handled three of the 15 accounts that I have with them and my credit report is still being dramatically affected because of this.

So far so good, like I said just getting started. They have been very patient with me and trying to get all the information. Let me have about 2 months and I will be able to tell you more. But as for now they do a very good job, being very thorough with all the info.

We have been very happy with the deals that were made with our creditors, which saved us quite a bit of money. Apparently we did not fully understand how this worked however, as we thought that all our creditors would be contacted and then as money accrued in our account, settlement amounts would be reached. As far as I can tell only 2 creditors have been contacted, and there is a list of debt that has not been addressed. Our phone calls have stopped but we are still being contacted by e-mail and mail and late fees and interest continue to build. And for this month, one creditor insisted on a bigger amount than available so we are having to scramble to come up with the extra payments. This is a wonderful program and it does save us money, but our credit scores have tanked and I wonder if bankruptcy would have been the better way to go.

No complaints. So far my experience has been great, no problems. They are quick to help where they can. Website leaves a lot to be desired but it's workable. Would love to be able to add creditors online. Would just save a step in this busy life!

I can now see the end to a bad experience of getting too much in debt and then having a hardship and setting me back on paying my bills. If I have any questions they always answer in a quick and courteous manner. I would recommend NDR to anyone having trouble getting back on track with their credit and paying back creditors.

My husband and I feel communication between National Debt Relief and creditors are far and few between. Seemed good at first but certainly slowing down... Hoping I didn't make a mistake by going with NDR and not someone else. I guess time will tell.

Very professional and nonjudgmental. Takes the burden of nasty collectors on their own shoulders. Protects you from bullying tactics. Compassion when you need it most! I would recommend to anyone who gets in over their head or just hits a rough patch in life...
