Not sure this is the way but have no choice. Hope it works. Concerned that it takes 180 days before you let creditors know that I'm in program. I would like to let them know what's going on. Not the money I'm putting in fund but that I'm trying to resolve.

I'm 51 years old. I've always met all my obligations and just finding myself in this situation at this time of my life was a nightmare. The only complaint I have so far was the fact that once you enroll in the program you can't even speak to the person who signed you up! I am excited to see how this program works for us. We had some problems with emails being sent back and forth. I was required to sign paperwork multiple times because they made spelling errors and did not receive my signed documents but other than that the process so far has been easy.

Agents seemed very understanding of my hardship and Navient formally Sallie Mae refused to release my mother as a couple signer from my loan and she is heading into retirement. Also showed sympathy towards my divorce and the fact I needed to start a whole new life... Which really hurt my credit.

Old people should have more guidance and enough time to review the documents before signing. They should be asked to have at hand a list of their monthly expenses. A 21% commission should provide a more In depth knowledge of the clients resources and payment capability.

The reviews National Debt Relief had and what my brother told me about them made me decide to look into relief help. My brother wasn't as bad as me but he had gone through NDR's program first. Also, I've talked to other companies and other programs. If it's not simple and not basic, I'm not doing it and National Debt was simple and easy to go with. I called up and gave them some information so they can see what the situation was. They came back with a game plan and we've been going through it for eight months. At first, it was a little confusing but they sorted it out. If you're confused, you talk to them and if you can't get an answer from one person, someone else will for you. They make it very easy for you and woking with them sets you straight. So far, it's been perfect. They've solved almost everything but two. I recommend them to everybody I know.

After I Googled and read reviews about National Debt Relief, it made me feel that they're someone I can really work with. And it has been a very good experience. I'm very happy and they've been very responsive. I initially spoke to Lisa and got the information from her. She waited for my call back, remembered me and made me feel like they know me. They worked with me to resolve issues and reduce the debt on my credit. They weren't pushy, not trying to sell me anything, and gave me time to think about it. The payments are not easy but at least they explained from beginning to the end how it's going to be and there were no surprises. My debt was decreased. In fact, I'm at 40% versus where I was before. But it's going to take four years or less. I try to make the payments and settling stuff and it beats the bankruptcy, so it's a win-win for everybody.

I was trying to find a way to get my head out of the water without having to go through a bankruptcy which is a lot more expensive so I looked into debt relief. National Debt Relief's people have been very friendly. I get regular emails on my account so I can see exactly what's going on. They were nice enough to cut my payments into two every month so it's easier budget-wise for me, rather than one big chunk. I pay on the 6th, then the 21st on paydays and that helps a lot. We had a total of three years, so it’s going to take a little less than two years to finish which is great. However, they made a deal with somebody and wanted to add more money onto my payment. I said no because they told me in the beginning what I was going to pay. Other than that, the few times that I have had to call them with people that have been bugging me, they took care of it quickly. So far, so good.

I was paying on time every month, but the balances on my credit weren't going down. So I decided to go to National Debt Relief for help. I'd call them if I have any questions and they'd call me when they have a settlement offer from one of the credit card companies that they have my accounts with. Then they will explain to me what the settlement is, ask me if I want to accept the deal or not, and then it's deducted. Most of them would be over a few months, some can be from three months and some can be as long as six months to resolve. But working with them is less stressful and there's less money out of my pocket every month. At first, it takes a few months to build up enough money in the savings account that they're gonna pay out of. But after that, it works really well.

So far it's been positive and eager to be debt-free and looking forward to relieve some stress and put this behind me. Everyone I have communicated with has been very helpful and knowledgeable. I will tell my friends about this program and ready to make this work and enjoy life again.
