    It feels like it has taken forever, but happy to say 12 more payments and I am DONE! The only thing is that they keep asking me to increase the amount of the payment. If I had it I would! They were nice to not take a payment when my car broke down and I had to pay to fix it. They are good overall, I just wish they would not do a payment every month, and just do a payment every 2 or 3 months like they did for the first card I paid off. I would like to know about all these fees I'm paying, that is confusing. I feel like they are taking money they shouldn't be sometimes. I just want to get this over and done. I will never do this again.

    They're not bad. They are in the process of settling 6 of our accounts. My main issue is that they don't update you on progress with the companies that they haven't reached a settlement amount with. Like, if a company says they aren't going to work with us, let us know so we can contact that company directly and see if there is something we can get figured out. It's just frustrating. The only time we get any kind of information is if we reach out to them. Currently 2 of our 6 debts are being settled but we haven't gotten any information on the 4 that are just sitting out there.

    I understand it is a slow process and I don't mind the amount of time it takes to get the debts settled (I mean, they're only getting so much money from us each month to pay the debt with). I would just like... I don't know, maybe monthly updates? It doesn't even have to be a call. Just an e-mail letting us know if they have had conversations with any other companies. If they were better at communicating what's happening, I would probably give them 4 stars.

    I have finally graduated from the program! They are great at negotiating your individual accounts and they're always so friendly and are willing to help. Ex: if a creditor is harassing you they want to know! I believe I started in the program in 2013 or 2014 and it's been a great experience. You can easily call and someone is able to get on the phone with you right away and if that person cannot help answer your question they find someone that can.     It works. I started the program at the beginning of 2015, and I will have nearly $40,000 in credit card debt resolved in four years or less for around $30,000 total cost. 5 out of my 6 creditors are currently resolved, and National Debt Relief will negotiate with the final creditor when there is enough in my escrow account to work with. I have not had to speak with any of my creditors, since NDR does all the negotiating. Their customer service is wonderful and very responsive. They pay themselves well out of fees from the settlements, but I will still be paying considerably less than I otherwise would have. My credit score took a hit when I closed all of my accounts and stopped paying the cards, but it started climbing again as soon as the accounts began to be marked "resolved". It is a decision I will never regret.

    Making the decision to work with debt relief services is difficult, but words cannot express how happy I am that I did this. My debt was unmanageable and no matter how many jobs I worked or how much money I was making, I couldn't get ahead and make any progress. My debt was cut in half with this program and now that I am debt free, my credit score has improved that maybe owning a home one day isn't out of the question.     They should tell you upfront that they will pull accounts that are way older than 7 years old to pay off, as well as current ones. This opens up new negative reports! They will pay off the smaller balances first, which will continue to drive down your credit score. I am only halfway in, so in the next year I expect big things from NDR! I will report as necessary!

    The only thing I dislike about this program is that some of the credit card bills go months or even years before getting paid at all. It kills your credit. I was on a debt management program before, and the creditors got paid something every month, even if it was a small amount. National Debt Relief has to allow a certain amount of money to accumulate before they will even attempt to negotiate. I did not realize this when I signed up for the program.

    Following my Father's sudden death in June 2016 I was in a most desperate financial situation.     Having used a similar much more user friendly program in my younger days, I never thought I'd find myself here again until I lost my job. After just seeking info, NDR called, called, emailed and called and we finally signed up. The constant collection calls have continued, attorney's letters and no mention of any progress toward being debt free as a light at the end of the tunnel.     I did a lot of research on various debt collection companies and National Debt Relief was always in the top 3. Based on my research I had a lot of questions. I was never rushed or pressured.     I did some online sleuthing and National Debt Relief had the most easily accessible online information. When I called, they were very helpful in explaining the process to me. I had tried one or two other companies and online, it was convoluted. They didn’t have a good breakdown of what they were going to charge me versus how they're going to work with me. National Debt Relief was the only one that I found that had a guarantee that said, “Whatever you sign up to pay, we guarantee you you're going to pay that much or less.”

    I'm two-thirds of the way through and I just have one card left. It's been a great process though it was a little bit slower than I expected. I expected they would talk to the credit card companies and make a deal and then I would pay that off slowly. However, they can't bargain with the credit card companies unless they have physical money to back it up. And so, that’s something that has to accrue and I didn't realize that. But beyond that, they're fine. They’ve been great about responding to stuff. Whenever I call, there's always somebody there so they can always look into my account and find out where things are standing or what they're doing. They're always good at notifying me if changes happen via email because I don’t always have time to answer the phone. They have the online portal so I can upload documents and that's very handy. It's very nice to have that kind of remote capability. It's been a good experience with NDR overall.

    I didn't want to file bankruptcy so I looked for something to assist me with my finances through Google search and found that National Debt Relief has the most reviews and they checked out with the BBB so I decided to go with them. I'm very impressed with everybody there because they settled more than half of my debt in under a year's time. Everybody's always very patient and helpful when I call, and no matter who answers they're very familiar with my case. They pull everything up and they're very thorough. They have a handle on it and that's important to me. I'm not just another number.

    Just a little caution though when they're sending out any type of correspondence to triple check with what was sent because it’s someone else's information. I let them know that I received it and they very quickly reached out to make sure the person got what they needed and shred everything. Other than that, they're on point. I'm very happy that I can monitor myself through their web portal. I don't have to always call in. Once it's set up, I can see the activity of what's going on. I was very impressed to see what I went in with the total debt amount and where I was at percentage wise with resolution. I've recommended them to a couple of people. Sometimes they were looking to file bankruptcy and I told them no. They really don't need to do that on this program. From what I've experienced in under a year, I just turned 50% of the debt around.

    I had graduated from school and wasn’t getting any student loans. I didn’t have a job as there’s a nine-month period before I could start working so I wasn’t able to make my payments. Someone from National Debt Relief called and explained everything to me. I have to approve when they negotiate and I have received an email notifying me to get my approval. They have worked out one of my debts but they don’t communicate much so I don’t really know what’s going on. There’s one of my debts that they’re paying for about $20 a month but I feel like the process has taken a long time. I am working now so I would rather pay that off and get the debt behind me but when I go online, there’s no way to get more money or do a one-time deposit. It’s kind of a hard process. If I wanna do an extra payment, I’m not able to add a different bank to do that.

    I like working with National Debt Relief. They're very good and nice people. Their personnel is very knowledgeable as well. They're helping me get rid of my debt. I've had some trouble since the passing of my husband and it's somewhat hard for me to get back on track. Then, the creditors wouldn't work directly with me. Some of them still didn't work with me. About five went into collections. But, NDR is still able to settle with them so I have two more left.

    NDR set up the program for me and each time that they make a settlement with my creditors, they always call me first. They don't assume that it's acceptable to me. They keep me informed too. So, they really work with me. They quite take that pressure off and they also lower bills. I have one account that I owed $4,000 and they settled it for like $900. I hope this won't happen to me again. It's a very frustrating situation. On the whole, it's beyond my expectation because I didn't think that it would go as smoothly and quickly as it's going.     My experience though long, was very cordial. The CSR was very accurate and explained things carefully. The only negative was that when reading or explaining, the CSR needed to be asked to slow down. It is normal I find, for younger ones to speak quickly. As a former CSR myself, I know that older ones need time to hear and digest what is being said. The welcome call was long and was repeat basically of yesterday's information provided.
