    I just didn't like how I had to call to make any kind of decision. When I lost my salaried job I tried to get my deposits postponed. Requesting online wasn't enough apparently because I overdrafted the following Tuesday. It's a lot of stuff that could have been avoided if they just made their online portal more active. Regarding resolving cases, I haven't had anything after the first two resolved and it has been a significant gap between the other resolutions. Maybe four to six months in between. Not sure if that has something to do with me or just the way National Debt Relief does their job. It's getting the job done and I'm decently satisfied.

    I signed up a few months ago in March and have been paying every two weeks toward my debt. I was told when I signed up that about 6 weeks from approval I would start receiving offers to settle my debts that were negotiated and my credit score would rise. It's been 3 months and I have not received one offer and my credit is still in the tank. On top of that, I lost my job and called to see how I can handle my account if I had to miss a payment and was told I could postpone one payment one time but if I didn't have the next scheduled payment that my account would be closed.

    So because of non-action by the company when I was told things would be moving in 6 weeks and the fact that when I lost my job all I was told was, "Sorry make your next payment or you lose your account and money." I am pretty upset with NDR. Hopefully they are enjoying the money I've given them for 3 months because I am getting zero for what I am paying 425 dollars a month for.

    National Debt Relief isn't for everyone, especially for those people looking for an "easy" fix to get out of their credit card debt. It's work, plain & simple.     First, I have found that there is very little communication between NDR and the consumer. I was unaware that a settlement had been made with JB Robinson until I called to find out what was happening. I am a little disappointed because a few months before this, I had spoken to one of NDR's service reps and told him that I had a necklace valued at about $1400.00 that I wanted to return for credit. I was told by that rep that it was too late and I also should not have to give up my jewelry. This would have reduced down my debt considerably and left more funds available for other payoffs. Also, I have no idea whether or not my other creditors have been contacted. There simply is no communication.

    It's hard for me to rate right at this moment because there is not much happening. However, everything has been going well with not much creditor's harassment since I changed the contact information. There is one thing I'm a little disappointed in. I tried, twice, to get a hold of a rep, by email, to clarify some info but got absolutely no response. I work full time so I don't have the luxury to call has I need to.     After I was enrolled and got things going and started making payments everything was good. I would get calls asking how things were going and an occasional bump to the monthly payments and check to see if a debt settlement was ok for me but then after that nothing. Crickets... An occasional call or email to your clients as they go through the process would be ideal. Maybe a call to say you are doing well, maybe get an update on where you stand with your accounts and give some feedback. It appears that you would like us to monitor ourselves and our progress, all fine and dandy, but to get us in the door and forget about us is not good customer service.

    National Debt Relief has provided us a 2nd chance and peace of mind knowing that my wife and I have a team of professionals working on our side to negotiate with the creditors. My wife and I have made some not so good financial decisions over the years and we have had some hard times due to one of our children needing to be hospitalized. That combination, plus changing jobs and changes in salary created the perfect storm for getting ourselves in over our heads with credit.     Enrolling with National Debt Relief was really easy. When I called, they looked at how much debt I had and asked me what my income was. Next, I filled out what my living expenses were. After that, they told me how much I could pay a month, and for how many months, until I would be debt-free. Also, they're really nice and I'm impressed at how nice they were even after I'm enrolled. I had read something online and I was concerned that after it was done, it would cost me more money in the long run but they told me no and that once I reached the end of my term, it would all be done.

    The only thing they could improve is once you are enrolled in the program, sometimes you get calls from other people within the program that don’t realize that you are already doing business with them. Also, it is expensive but at least you're at a point where you can handle the payments. I'm paying less than what I owe, I don’t have anybody calling me, I can make the payments and I sleep at night. They are very personable people and it's not a company where once you go ahead and enroll, they do not have anything to do with you. There was another night when I called, I was in tears thinking I was gonna lose my home and they told me that I have something and to not worry about it. It was a great experience and it lifts all the worry.

    There was quite a bit of information that was not shared with me when my business was being sought.     There are legal fees, settlement fees, and other fees. I owed Citi cards $2,070 and they were able to settle this debt for $829. However, National Debt Relief is pocketing an extra $414 for their "settlement fee" services. So, if I owed $2,070 and now I have to pay "only" $829 PLUS their fee of $414, then that means I'm actually paying $1,243. So, I'm technically only saving $827 out of the original $2,070. This settlement fee doesn't include the monthly fees I am also paying and the Gitmeid legal fees I also have to pay every month. Why do I have to pay these fees every month? Their website for me to review all this information is not user friendly and it's really difficult to see which debt has been paid. I think their "settlement fees" are ridiculously high. If they are trying to help the consumer I feel like this "settlement fee" could be less. This Citi settlement fee of $414 is only one of many to come.

    Would not have chosen this if I had done more research into the process. Told I could save up to 10,000 on what was owed, and in fact when offered by their reference a loan thru Liberty Lending which I took I will be paying the same amount of the original debt. They received their fees. The accounts are all closed and paid, but my credit score has plummeted. The one good thing is I won't have the interest payment on the original debt.     Copies of communications with debtors should be made available. Including incoming to NDR and outgoing from NDR. These should be provided or made available to the client, either by email or posting to online account. Very unprofessional, and possibly not legal. As a client, I have to call and check to see if anything was sent to debtors. I was also asked to change my mailing address for statements and other communication from debtors to a NDR P.O.Box, but NDR client services cannot locate any of the information received from Debtors. What happens to these statements and letters from Debtors? This needs to be fixed A.S.A.P.

    It seems like every time I send in an email or a service request through the NDR portal, I never get a response. I have to call and the customer service agent that answers the phone, does not have any answers and has to research. Very very poor customer service. If your customer service staff is overwhelmed, then some training is needed. This is most likely a staffing or management issue and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

    I would recommend this program to anyone. I have participated on other debt consolidation programs, although they did pay the creditors, they didn't actually settled for a smaller amount, they just consolidated all the bills in one monthly payment. National Debt Relief actually helped me to lower what I owed by settling the balances owed with creditors for a much smaller amount, sometimes even half of what I owed.     I was struggling financially and looked into relief help then I picked National Debt Relief. Usually, when enrolling with them, people do it on the computer but I couldn't do it because I couldn't read and write. So I went to the office in Manhattan and they did it for me in person. The guy who enrolled me was pretty nice. All they said was that they were going to try to get down my credit cards one by one. Then I have to build up my account with them and then they'd take the money out of the account and then they would negotiate with the creditor. They wanted me to sign a paper the last time just in case anything happens. I signed it then mailed it back and I haven't heard from them since. They need to hurry up in paying my bills because I have re-consolidated before and it was a little quicker than this.
