    I enrolled with NDR in March of 2016. In a little over a year they have settled four creditors. They have always been willing to work with me to enable the settlements. A couple of times I was served with papers. Because I had also signed up with GITMO (the NDR lawyers) everything was taken care of and I never had to go to court. I was very grateful for their help. I would highly recommend to anyone who signs on with NDR to add on the lawyers. The nominal extra charge has been worth it!

    It has been 2 plus years since I have been enrolled in NDR. I have been nothing less than COMPLETELY satisfied. They have worked with me from the beginning making sure I had enough money to pay my other bills. They have answered any and all questions I have ever had. They have advised me every step of the way.     The only thing I recommend is for NDR to immediately notify the creditors via a letter that they are working on behalf of the client. So far I am pleased. Many of the creditors stated that I should have went to CCCS instead and not pay someone to get me out of debt. The ratings are very good with NDR so I chose them. I am happy I did! Thank you!

    I was super happy to enroll with National Debt Relief, as it seemed that this was the answer to my debt prayers. They stated that they could help me, however, I've been on the program for a little over three months and have only had one debt resolved in which National Debt Relief made almost $800.00. I receive debt collection calls almost every hour, sometimes more even on Sundays. I keep contacting NDR to see how negotiations are going, but the answers I get are the ones they send you in the booklet. I'm not expecting a miracle, but I thought for sure most of my credit cards would have accepted some type of payment by now. NDR makes 21% off of your reported debt, so I would think that I'd see more effort. Thus far, I've heard nothing and I'm wondering if I made an awful mistake. Now I'm in too deep and bankruptcy would be the only solution, which I was trying to avoid.

    I really didn't have that much debt, but I had too many companies to pay off that went beyond my budget. I also wanted to avoid all their harassing phone calls as well while trying to stay in good standing with everybody that I owed. That's where National Debt Relief came in. Every time I got a letter or phone call from someone, I would send NDR the phone number or copy of the letter and they would be the buffer in between.

    Also, there were several times I knew I wasn't going to have the money to pay NDR, and I was able to stop the program several times while I changed jobs or saved up the money to pay them again. They worked with me EVERY SINGLE TIME I needed to stop my payments for a while. I never had to worry about all those companies I owed again, I simply dealt with NDR. I HIGHLY recommend this company.     Yes, NDR has helped me pay off my revolving debt, has saved me money in the process, but I wish the representative I signed up with would've given it to me straight. I was told 2 1/2 years and my debt would be paid off, when it will more likely be over 3 years. Also I wasn't told that you would be asked to give more money than the monthly amount you agreed to. I guess at least those debts will be paid.

    Once they got info I was never updated. Debt companies calling but I was told not to answer calls from them. I still do not know what the next step is. I just know money is taken out of my checking account. I don't know even know if creditors accepted National Debt Relief offers.

    Around three months ago I rate my experience as 5 stars, however I think totally different now. I have enrolled in the program in August 2016, my debt was around $18k and I started making monthly payments of $400.00 which was much better than what I was paying to CC companies before enrolling. By the 6th month I have 2 out of my 5 CC resolved... NDR charged 25% of the total debt at the moment (it got increased in the last 6 months since it is a requirement of the program), I was ok with that because I had less stress than what I had before...

    The problem started when back in March - April I received a summon from the court from Amex, thanks God that was one of my questions when I enrolled, so I got enrolled in the legal program they have for an extra $12.00 fee monthly. However due to the lawsuit they "needed more money to negotiate" and that is when they called me and said that I qualified for a loan.

    I have no choice but to take the loan for $13k with a really high interest that I would finishing paying $20k. Besides I have to wait until the end of the year so the companies they settled for less will send 1099's (meaning that I "earned" money) so I would have to pay taxes on it... That was one of the questions I have while enrolling and they said that you just need to fill out a form, however when I addressed my concern now, they said they are not tax experts.

    I just "graduated" from the program last month... I would said I am not satisfied at all with it. When you enrolled they assured that your credit will be messed but making affordable monthly payments for three years you will be debt free... I ended up owing more than what I owed before enrolling and it will take me 5 years now due to the loan. I felt that I have no other choice but keep going and try to put some extra money in the loan capital so try to pay less. My recommendation to anyone is try to call CC companies, they would work out with you!!!

    System works well for you, but destroys credit score. They will cut your credit debt by a lot. We are paying our debt off pretty quick. I am very happy that we are getting our debt gone, but it hurts knowing what it is going to take to rebuild our credit. We will have negative marks on our credit score for a while, because it goes on your credit score as the company agreed to settle for a lesser than owed amount.

I felt/Thought at completion, called graduation that there would be a package of paper work that would say: You have settled the debts, the debtors have received all settlement payments. Some sort of settlement certificate - proof of Action. I received a e-mail, "You graduated. Here is your overpayment check."     Don't include a Credit Union in your debts. They will sue you... It is a Federal Union. Credit cards are handled greatly by Debt Relief. I am so glad I saw their advertisement about three years ago. It has really helped me out, since I was about 88 years old when I began with them.

    I felt that NDR was completely transparent and honest when explaining the process. My credit score did drop, as expected, but all of my debts have been settled. I had 4 accounts totaling about $9,000 and within a 6 month period there was a resolution for each and I am now on my way to being debt free. I will make monthly payments for the next 2 years until my debts rate paid off. NDR was able to get the creditors down quite a bit on the total owed, but they do take a percentage for their services once the account is settled on top of the service fees.

    Personally, I'm happy with the outcome and I feel it was worth it. I would recommend to anyone who is accountable, responsible, and not looking for a get out of jail free card. There will be repercussions for getting yourself into debt. They aren't going to wipe the slate clean for you or give you a service for free. However, if you are patient this company will definitely help you on your way to becoming debt-free.

    Whenever I have called I have been treated with courtesy and respect. The people I have spoken to have been very helpful. When settling my Bank of America account I had to send the same paperwork by certified mail at least 3 times. That was annoying. I have not heard anything lately, but now I have two accounts left to settle. My only complaint is that I wasn't told the reduction of my bill would be counted as income. That really hurt me on my income taxes for last year.

    I am at odds right now because I thought the amount of money that was paying per month was all I would need to pay to settle up my accounts. I am finding that I have to add more and more money in order for my accounts to be settled. This is just as much of a strain on me as it was before I went to you. I find myself worrying if I am going to be able to put the extra money in that is being required of me. I was told that you would put off taking your fee to later after my accounts were half-way settled. I checked my account where I only had a little over 2100 in my account and you took that for your fee and now I am stressing over where I am going to get the money to finish what I started out with y'all.     I've been enrolled in the program for less than a yr and they have already settled 2 credit cards. My credit score did tank, but it's already going back up. By the end of this year I will.have 4 more accts paid off out of the 10 I enrolled. So far so good.     Using the internet to review statements could be more user friendly. It would be nice if a person could make their own username after the first time they sign in.

    Also, beside the Bill collector on the statement, it would be nice to know what Bill it was in reference to. That would make it more convenient to keep track of which bills were being settled. As far as the satisfaction with the co. Itself... I have no complaints.

    ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! This is suppose to help you get out of debt not add more on you. When I signed up they explained that all fees would be in with my monthly payment, well I found out today that the 25% they charge for settling an account they take ALL at one time! So my one account they had settled got $1 and they made sure they had their $700 for simply making a phone call to get a settlement and haven't even worked on any of my other accounts. Needless to say I made a HUGE MISTAKE trying to get out of debt, it was just costing me more. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND NDR TO ANYONE! LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

    So far I am pleased with the settlements that have been negotiated. The only thing I am not really happy with is the amount of time it is taking to settle with the credit card companies. I was told it would take 3-6 months and it has been 14 months. As of today I still have one more creditor that hasn't been settled with. In the meantime, there are interest charges, etc., that keep racking up, as well as my credit score continue to drop, i.e., this last settlement racked up almost $1000 in interest and late fees before it was settled. I would guess the same situation is with this last creditor as well. Not that I am going to try to borrow money etc., anytime soon, but up until about a year ago, when I signed up with this service my credit score, in 40 years' time, had never went below 678, now it is 458. Very disheartening since I have worked all my life to have a good score and now when I actually might need it - it is crap.

    On the whole, it has been a good experience. There are a couple of issues, however. Agents. I understand that they have been trained to take their time with the customers and engage in friendly conversation. This can be nice, but it's a pain if you are in a hurry and just want something quickly such as information, and especially so if you have to wait on hold for an available agent. Perhaps the agents could speed up the calls if others are waiting, and be more discerning on whether or not the customer wishes to chat.

    Taking the initiative to contact. There have been at least two situations where your company was waiting for something from me, but failed to reach out to inform me of this. It took a phone call from me to find out what the delay was before the issue got moving again. On one occasion, it caused me a financial loss because I was applying for an emergency withdrawal from my Global Client Solutions account, and the request stalled because of a problem. Again, nobody got in touch with me to let me know the situation and what was needed from me, despite the fact that I had made it clear that it was an emergency situation.

    Fees. I understand why you don't want to be upfront in stating your fees when advising a customer that a deal has been reached with a creditor. I am always told what the fees will be when I ask, but I feel that the transparency of mentioning your fees when informing of a deal would help your company. Slowness of response via email. I'm not sure if there is a reason why messages sent to your service@nationaldebtrelief.com or via the client portal are typically not even seen for 48 hours let alone responded to, but it seems an excessive delay. Perhaps these messages should be given the same priority as someone calling in. At the very least, to 'triage' all messages within an hour or two

    I have to be honest, I was worried about working with this company. I'm a single mom with over $11,000 in credit card debt. This company's plan to help seemed too good to be true.     I signed up for National Debt Relief over a year ago. A tremendous burden was lifted off of me when I enlisted NDR to help me resolve my debt.     I have completed my enrollment period and am happy it's over. Initially I was very satisfied with NDR. With the exception of one incident the staff was very knowledgeable & friendly. One incident mid way soured my feelings greatly. I was sent a notice from one of my credit cards and was told I had x amount of days to respond. I called NDR - they would look into the matter but not to worry I had ** days to respond. The settlement was not handled in a timely manner nor was the settlement lower than I was told it would be.     I had been take advantage of by a contractor who had run-up over $10,000.00 in credit card debt in materials and tools. Then absconded without finishing the construction of my house. Being a disabled vet on limited income, I found myself using my monthly benefit check to pay the above debt. With nowhere to turn, I had to decide whether to pay the bills or buy groceries and pay my mortgage payment and utilities. Paying what I could I soon became severely past due on my credit card accounts. Paying some cards on one month and paying the others on the following month. Even though I contacted the credit card companies and explaining my situation, they did not do anything to assist me. Instead, they raised the interest, and the minimum monthly payment amount due. Then they began charging late fees on top of the higher interest.

    This ended up being more penalty fees being charged than the minimum payment I was making. So instead of lowering my balances, they became higher and higher. I was drowning and the credit card companies were piling rocks on top of me. Then, I read about National Debt Relief (NDR) on my Veterans newsletter. Calling the 800 number, I explained my situation. Listening attentively, the NDR representative stated my credit card debt fit the criteria to get assistance. NDR collected my information and contacted the credit card companies and arranged a settlement with them. Then setup a monthly payment that would allow me to have enough for living expenses and pay-off the accumulated credit card debt. During the process almost everything went according to plan. Except for SYNCHRONY BANK.

    Initially SYNCHRONY BANK agreed to settle the account. Then after agreeing to accept, they two months later sent the account to a collection agency. Which in turn, placed a collection on my credit report. The result is SYNCHRONY BANK appears to have disregarded their settlement agreement and are getting paid twice for the credit card debt. Contacting NDR, I asked that this be addressed. I also contacted the Collection agency and SYNCHRONY BANK. SYNCHRONY BANK stated that the account had been sold to the collection agency PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES. When I contacted them, they were very rude and abusive calling me several derogatory names and demanding payment. Then they began calling multiple times at all hours of the day and night. When I tried to explain that the account had been settle prior to their acquisition, they refused to listen and continued with their harassment.

    Contacting NDR, they explained what I needed to do to stop the calls, and said they would contact the collection agency and address the situation regarding SYNCHRONY BANK account. To this day, PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES has continued to post a collection on my credit report and refused to correct this discrepancy. Contacting NDR and explaining the situation they stated they would address and correct the inaccurate information. To this day, this has not been corrected. However, beyond this, I am satisfied with NDR and their credit resolution assistance.

    We have been working with National Debt Relief for about one year now. My wife and I exposed ourselves to considerable debt with credit cards through some unexpected large expenditures and bad habits.     NDR has been very easy to work with. The communication both via email and phone has been excellent. The only thing I wish I had known, and maybe at some point in the very long process it got lost or overlooked, is that creditors can sue you before NDR settles the account. This costs out of pocket filing fees at the courthouse, not to mention time that needs to be taken out of work to appear. Overall, we are glad that we chose this option to reduce our debt.
