I was drowning in debt. Having become part of a blended family I tried to take on more than I could financially. National Debt Relief helped me to take care of that piled up debt and made it worry free. I was able to continue taking care of my family, that has since grown, and become more financially stable and aware. Very happy with this company.

I've always found customer service to be very helpful. I always enjoy talking with people and they're very knowledgeable and friendly. My biggest complaint is I was told I'd be out of debt years ago. I've been in the program for almost three years and my understanding was it would be more like 18mths. Also, I don't like how this negatively affected my credit report. If a person is working in a program like this the bureaus should be notified so they don't show something as a year behind.

So far, my experience has been absolutely wonderful. Lana ** (Certified Debt Special) is the best! She helped me to understand the process and what I should expect. I hope that everyone that I work with throughout my process is as professional and knowledgeable and Lana **.

Time frame for payments to start to debtors by NDR - Representative Mabelean was somewhat a little hastily impatient and was mostly focused on the QUESTION/Did I/she answer all my questions, again focused mostly on the question as if all she was concerned about is getting a yes from me as being the answer to her question.

I have two private student loans, and have been paying on them for twelve years. Owed more 12 years later... Went to NDR to end more years of debt without end. Am disabled for last 7 years and Navient would not forgive the loans. Hopefully NDR can. One loan recently settled, the smaller of two. One to go because on my disability I can't afford to continue... Am financially hurting.

Six months into the program and I've had five out of seven debts settled so far, the sense of relief and gratitude I feel is enormous. We have begun to see results. It was very difficult at first. Creditors calling constantly. After four months, that has stopped. Creditors are accepting negotiations. Today I agreed to my first settlement! I have a couple of accounts to go to be debt free but the feeling is awesome! I spoke with Jennifer on the phone and she answered all of my questions knowledgeably and without hesitation. At the end of the conversation she congratulated me and it felt like together we had accomplished something!

The rep informed me that I could not cancel my deposit since it was not 5 business days. I explained my situation and she put me on brief hold and she came back and told me that this would be an one time occurrence. I was so grateful that she did this for me and my family.

Almost 5 months nothing has been done yet. Something should be happening very soon. I want things to start going. Here I am getting impatient. These things need to be taken care of soon so I can move on from the situation that I'm in now. I hope they help sooner than later.

This program helped me when I needed it. I had always been really good at paying my bills and taking care of business. My experience with National Debt Relief has been excellent and more than what can be expected. My brother, who's had a financial hardship, used them and recommended them to me. They’ve been great. They seem like they’ve been doing it for decades. They’ve been very helpful throughout the process and their team has a way of coaching and informing you that makes you feel comfortable. They’re consultative and not pushy salesmen. They're very clear on instructions and everything there is to be expected. I’m not exactly the kind of guy that is on top of everything all the time, so it’s good that they send follow up emails. They've also been always available. They have a 1-800 number you can call anytime, and they also have a portal. They were very knowledgeable and are there to answer your questions and guide you, which is what hit home with me.

I would like to fix my credit, and I got National Debt Relief through a personal recommendation. They're helpful with everything and they keep an eye on me. However, I'm having a hard time understanding their accents because they may be from a different country.

The initial experience was good & helpful, but as time has gone on I still get calls from my creditors and now I can not log into my account. How long before I hear if my creditors agree to the terms that were presented to me?

I was very scared to do this. I thought what if this doesn't work? What if I were to lose my paycheck for they want to garnish it for the credit make my payments. Just getting started. Was a big decision and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief after my conversation with Daniel **. Putting medical expenses and home repairs on credit cards put us in heavy debt. I can update my experience as we move forward in this process.

The initial contact person who opened my account was direct and all about the business of what is expected from me and how this process is managed. Subsequent conversations with customer service representatives, with few exceptions, were handled patiently and knowledgeably. In the event the customer service rep was unable to answer my question satisfactorily, I was promptly transferred to someone who could. Interaction is polite, in spite of the nature of the circumstances, and Settlements have been as expected.

Suspend my payment - I recently lost my job last month and needed 2 month to get a job. So I called and the gentleman help me set it up. I really want to pay off all my debt, but with not working it's very hard. I hope to find a job soon.

I was just a few months into the process and getting discouraged, but a call yesterday with a settlement for about 25% of what I owed a creditor... things may be turning around finally. A lot of my creditors still call and say they won't work with them, but I have a lot more faith now that this is working. BTW The representative was great at explaining everything and how the settlement offer is going to work for this creditor.

After a horrible Tumble down the stairs, I lost the ability to walk. On top of that, I found myself in debt. This process was pretty effortless. The deducted money was exactly on the date, it was distributed, and I paid off my debts at lowered amounts. I recommend this service for anyone looking to relieve the burden of debt.

So far so good. Only a few days into the program so I can only comment on customer service. A+ answered all my questions and were very thorough throughout the initial process. Can't say I would or would not recommend them to anyone yet. But I feel positive with an A+ BBB. I thought I would give it a try. Paying 4-6 times on some of these cards and getting nowhere. When I called initially for the first time I was glad to hear that someone would be able to help me. Elan, so far, has stated they may send a 1099 for as additional income for 2016. This may cause a tax problem for me. Wish I would have known this earlier. Hopefully, the other companies won't do this.

I'm not out of the woods yet, but National Debt Relief has helped me out quite a bit with my debt situation. I am only giving 4 stars because I was told this was only going to take a couple of years and it looks like it will be another 1 and a half to two years on top of the two years I have been in the program. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by National Debt Relief. I am beginning to see the light at the end of my debt. My only concern was when I spoke with an associate to discuss an agreement with one of my creditors I was asked to consolidate the rest of my debt in a loan at 26% interest. This did not make any sense to me. Credit cards at 26% interest were what got me into this situation in the first place. I declined the offer... It just did not make sense.

My experience with National Debt Relief has been outstanding. I've been working with their representatives for just over 2 years and they have delivered as advertised. I had to call in several times to provide information needed by them to work with my creditors and have always been received promptly and attended to my complete satisfaction.

I signed up for this service and they explained that I would pay them a fixed amount each month. This changed after I signed up. After signing up, the customer service reps are no longer friendly, very uninformed, don't explain questions that I have, and pressure you to pay more and bring in different, problematic third parties that have terrible reviews/scams. I wish this company would have been honest about how they do business. This doesn't simplify matters, it makes things more complicated. And, it doesn't allow for a consistent dollar amount to pay as they promised - they pressure you for more and berate you when you try to explain that this isn't what I was told when I signed up and not what I agreed to or expected with the budget that I have. Very misleading company. :(

The only 2 names I have are Glenda and Priscilla, all of the people were very helpful and I think I will make through the term of my agreement without too much worry. Everything is working the way they said it would. The amount agreed on is coming out of my checking account once a month and after 4 months I am already seeing results, bills paid off. I couldn't have achieved this progress without their help.

I started the program back in April and have paid every other week as planned. I have heard nothing on the status in my debt reconciliation. I am disappointed that I've had no communication. I've called once to see if I could change my plan and they denied me. I still have heard nothing about the status of my debt. We contacted NDR to assist us in consolidating our debt into one payment. In turn, they are to contact all creditors and work out payment arrangements. It has been several months that we have been making payment, but to date no contact has been made to our creditors.

I recently contacted your customer service to have one of my payments reschedule. The customer representative was pleasant and patient while addressing my concerns. The representative successfully resolve my issue and took it upon herself to send me a list of all future payments.

I was at a point where I didn't know what to do and so I did some research and found that NDR was the best choice in the Nation (so says the internet!). I needed help with my credit cards so I reached out to National Debt Relief. Their team has been very pleasant, courteous and concerned with my debt situation. They told me that my credit rating would go down for at least six months plus and they will do the best in evaluating my credit card and see how it can be paid off. So far, one of my cards has been paid off last March. I still have one to go and they said it will be paid in full in 2019. I sent them an extra $4000 and another $4648 and I got a gift in return. I don't know where my extra payment puts me since my monthly payment is $648. I would have to contact them and see where I am at this point.

I retired in November 2016. The Office of Personnel Management held my annuity for 6 months. I received a partial payment, but it wasn't enough to pay my bills. I have been with NDR over 2 years. Had a lot of credit card debt, had encountered some health issues and had been out of work with hospital bills adding up and had difficulty paying bills. I don't understand why your company doesn't immediately contact all my debtors to let them know that you are handling the repayment of my debt so that I don't keep getting mail correspondence and phone calls which is very upsetting.

Very little explanation, sure helps with some of the calls. Two things annoyed me, minor in my case but important to me. One: First call and got not so much laugh at but got laughed at for before starting service for asking questions "like is this a scam?" and more critical my question on "how does this work, how do you get your money, cause you're not doing it for free."

National Debt Relief has been a blessing even though I'm still working on getting all the debts paid. Fortunately, no one has taken me to court and that I appreciate. Yes, I have collections on my credit report; however, the good side to that is the collections will disappear once I have the creditor paid-in-full. I still have a couple of years with National and hope to be able to contribute more monies than I currently am; however, I have no complaints regarding National's help. I would definitely recommend National to a friend ~ it has kept me from having to file Bankruptcy that would have been caused by a family emergency that was not in my control.
