    We were so far out reach with our bills, not sure if we would ever be Debt free. Then we called National Debt Relief and I'm starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.     I really dont know what or how I would rate my experience as of this date. Nothing has been paid and all I see is my credit rating tanking.     So far so good but it's only been a month. I stumbled onto NDR as a result of last minute cold feet (literally) with another company where I felt I wasn't getting straight answers.     It’s a year in and I’ve got four cards settled. NDR has been very helpful. They contact me before they make a settlement. They put everything in an account for you and if you have enough in the balance when you make the settlement they’ll just take it out and make it to the company. It’s made it so much better not having all these credit card bills and just knowing I will be debt-free in a couple of years. I would recommend them if they wanna get out of debt. I know my credit score’s horrible, but hopefully in a couple of years I can build that back up. I just wanna be credit card-free.

The computer already gives a robotic answer when it receives the email, but the comments I add to the emails I send are responded by people in insignificant or incorrect to my comments with the notices. It was not explained to me that this would occur.     Good concept, but had issues - On the upside, NDR does what they say, they handle negotiations and payments to creditors. However, being with NDR did not stop 3 creditors from suing me, knowing that I was enrolled in the program. In fact, it might have encouraged the lawsuits so that they could get money faster knowing that I was paying NDR. It costs 200+ to order legal paperwork to take to the court as you cannot represent yourself legally if you want NDR to handle the account. Also, I made a large lump sum payment (3000+) after speaking with 3 different reps to confirm the amount needed to get all of my accounts in a repayment status. I was given the wrong information 3 times apparently and a large amount went to fees and the 2 outstanding accounts were not handled...

    I called to complain and all they could say was I was given the wrong info. Oh well... As a result, I remained open to being sued again without the accounts being negotiated, which I was guaranteed originally (3x). If my spouse had not passed away and I didn't have huge things to deal with I would have quit then and there, but I stayed with the program as it was too much to start over. I still have not gotten both of the accounts covered that I was told would be negotiated with my deposit but I am close now, so just want to finish. Also, keep in mind that there are hidden fees, like 1.50 per phone conversation along with a monthly fee. It can get expensive for legal paperwork too. If I had to do it over I would not pick NDR as they gave me wrong info and didn't fix the problem. If a customer is told something will be done, it should be done.

    Overall I had a good experience with National Debt Relief. I felt like in general the customer service was friendly and quick. I felt like the program was excellent because they offer a full refund of your payments (minus some standard fees) if you have to cancel (I did cancel because I filed bankruptcy). Their website is pretty cool, but I wish I had the option to cancel a payment without having to send correspondence. And my only complaint was that I had to give 5 business days notice to stop or change a payment - this was difficult at times because of my family life being busy. So I would have loved to see the notice at like 3 business days.

    Not extremely satisfied with the timeline taken to contact and try and resolve credit issues. NDR makes sure you deposit sufficient fund so they can take their "fee" (NDR fees are high) prior to contacting and trying to resolve any creditors. That's probably why they tell you it will take 6 months to start the process. Not very happy with this company. I been in another credit counseling center many years ago and they managed to resolve accounts at a much faster rate.

    I had an accident at work and I required back surgery. I was laid off due to injuries, so I couldn’t detract that accident. I got information from the internet that National Debt Relief was one of the top debt relief companies and I went through their debt consolidation program. I contacted them and they had a representative contact me right away. We went over each account and the amount and they ran a credit report just to see what accounts I had there outstanding. They put them all together and offered me one monthly payment. I've never had an issue with them responding to either my emails or my phone calls or them contacting me. It's always been a pleasant experience.

    It's been about seven months of doing the program and consolidating all the debts helped me get back on my feet again. There are still a of couple accounts that are outstanding but I'd imagine it'd be done soon. They broke the payment plan up into two payments that are getting paid bi-weekly to help me out and it's easier to pay. Working with NDR has been great so far. When you need assistance when things happen, they do a great job. Even when you're going through problems and issues that are embarrassing, they make you feel calm and that it happens to everybody. They do not just single you out by yourself and they make it a very pleasant experience.

    I have been with the program almost 2 years. I had eight accounts in the program. I have had 2 removed and 1 account was settled in 15 months. 1 more account was just recently taken care of. I had a doctor bill on the account and since it was too old they closed it out so the account was closed by you with the amount of zero. And I still paid you the company fee.     Working with the National Debt Relief Service has taken the stress off my shoulders regarding my accounts. The agency determines with my creditors on how much I can pay and when it will be paid off. My credit scores continue to plummet, though, and that brings me some stress. It is hard to finance anything with low credit. I wish the creditors would understand that people have family issues and being able to pay bills living on social security is a joke.

    I did send in a letter asking the NDR to get an account out of collection with an agency that was turned over for collection in February of 2017, which was the first time I heard of this bill. The bill was due to non-payment of rent for my office, but I only spent 2 weeks in my office and closed the office on December 27, 2013. The office had some chemical smell to it and I lost clients and income because the clients did not like having to be in that office and didn't like having to come to the office in the evenings and being afraid of being attacked. I have protested this bill, but it continues to haunt me and has now caused my credit to plummet. Can you do something about this?

    I had a debt and it was so bad that all my bills were two and a half months behind. It came to a point where we only ended up with $50 for food and electric.     The staff are very nice and work with you during your financial situations. The only down side to their methods is that they collect from you first, then contact the creditors to settle, versus some other source that will pay off for you and then you pay back your debt program monthly, meaning you rarely will get collector calls. You will get collector calls for about 6 months (maybe more) before the calls become greatly reduced to none over time.

    You could communicate with me more frequently about where you are in the process of dealing with my creditors. Have any of them agreed to the terms? I still get 6-8 calls a day from them even though I gave them all the info about contacting you. They are still telling me they don't deal with you in settling debts. Kind of has me worried that they are going to take me to court. I have paid my payments to you every month and not seeing any results. If my name ends up in the paper for a judgment I will die. I might as well have filed bankruptcy. I just need someone to tell me what is being done on a regular basis without me having to call you.

    Just used papers to close all accounts by notifying all debt holders I have. So far no real problems other than Wells Fargo & Discover. They appear to be planning to take the hard line. Wells Fargo said they would be sending the case their law dept. Discover said they do not recognize debt relief. Your package has prepared us for fielding calls, etc. I hope the process gets easier as process continues. I like not having easy available credit cards.
