    NDR has been successful in negotiating 6 of 12 creditor accounts within the past 12 months. I recommend their services to those that find themselves against a financial wall, but keep in mind PATIENCE is necessary for this process to work for you. It's much easier to let them deal with this than try and deal with the companies yourself. When setting up your contract with NDR, I highly recommend paying the meager fee for legal advice. They have kept me out of trouble. Do NOT expect overnight miracles. They can only work with the money you make available to them. Do NOT contact the creditors yourself once NDR has the ball.

    Things to consider: your credit is going to suffer terribly, depending on the amount of debt involved. Companies don't seem to care that you're trying to pay them, and give you the worst possible rating even once a negotiation has been agreed upon, and the account is paid off. There doesn't seem to be a 'middle ground' for a credit rating if you're trying to meet part of the debt. Disappointing, and something for NDR to consider in the future. NDR: Negotiate a new debt amount for us, with the stipulation the company supplies a 'middle ground' rating for us with the credit agencies concerning their account, since we're paying something instead of claiming bankruptcy. NDR has no obligation to do this at this time, but it is a way-ahead for the company, and more fair to consumers who fell on bad times due to no fault of their own.

    I often times felt confused about what was actually going on and when I called to ask questions I had to talk to different people and some do not seem to know what is going on or don't give complete answers.     I filed with National Debt in July 3 and am $30.000 dollars in debt paying $900, a month on credit cards. My premium to them is $580.00 and am surprised after following their advice on closing all accounts and sending a introduction letter they recommend, I ONLY HAVE ONE COMPANY bothering me by phone. I am saving $320 a month. Perhaps it's the lawyers provided or their name. I haven't been hounded as much as I thought.

    I was very ready and excited to take action and do something long term to pay off my debt and be debt free in the future. When I hired NDR to help me, I was not late on any payments yet as I was in a vicious circle of robbing Peter to pay Paul to keep things current. Clearly that had to stop. It has been extremely difficult to watch my credit score spiral down so low so fast after I started with NDR. I keep praying that I made the right choice but right now it's pretty scary as nothing is happening, just paying money in with no results thus far after I started in June. It would make it easier if they communicated more about their plan of intentions as to who and what they plan to pay off first, second etc and so the client knows what to expect and that someone is working on your account in the background.

    The communication when trying to get you to sign up is great, but after signing up there has been literally NO communication (unless I reach out) about what the next step is at all so I am just left wondering when and what is happening. It's a difficult and scary step... The lack of communication makes it even harder. I hope to see or hear something is happening and what the game plan is sometime very soon. Worried.

    I had a bad five years and accrued about $48K in debt. Part my fault, part a bad partner who took over my credit cards (and didn't pay anything), and part due to the bad economy of 2008+.     I got a call from the reps of National Debt Relief and they explained the program to me. I was impressed with their professionalism and the fact that I would have no worries with them handling my debt resolution for me. In October, it will be a year since I've been with them and I'm very satisfied with the results. They've already taken care of three of my creditors and they're working with another one now, and soon they'll be dealing with the other two. I also have no worries at all with the money that they required me to send them each month. With each creditor that they've negotiated with, I got a call from them and they explained in detail what they were going to do, and they got my approval before they started on the negotiations. I have access online to monitor what's going on, so I'm very informed.

    Working with NDR has allowed me to start saving money and that's a plus. I made copies of all the communications that I got from the creditors and emailed these to NDR so they're aware of these. I still get calls from a couple of creditors but I let them know upfront that my debts are being handled and then hang up. Although they want me to talk, I don’t even discuss anything with them. Every month, I get notifications of the statements from NDR and I go online to see what's going on. I monitor the payments that are being made to the creditors and see if these are being taken care of at the moment. It has been all good overall with NDR and there's no stress now.
