Just started working with National Debt Relief, and so far this has been a very positive experience. Daniel and Felicia both were very friendly and professional and made the process clear and easy. This was a difficult, as well as emotional decision to make. After completing the initial process, I now feel more comfortable about this decision.

I would call every months, sometimes weeks to have an update. I knew of nothing that was going on or even if anything was getting done. I recovered the settlement letter and forwarded it to debt relief. They were in contact with them all this time over a year and a half. Why did I receive the settlement and not debt relief?

At first it was a dream, I was promised nearly 30k debt to be paid off around $15K, and that is divided into 36 months. They settled few smaller cards, split those into payments and in addition of their fees, I was at my max agreed monthly payments. Their response “Want us to work, pay more monthly.” I was paying around $500 each month. What they saved me, I had to pay later in taxes because 1098C forms started coming in, basically considering what I saved as income, but that balance included fees and charges that credit card companies charged while not paying my balance off, so in a long run, I paid a lot more.

National Debt Relief saved me a lot of money and paid off one of my credit cards. I would not have been able to do that myself. They called me about another debt to be paid off very soon. I am happy with their services.

I can see why they are rated the best. In 5 yrs time I was out of a large amount of debt. They were very efficient, professional and responsive. A lot better off now and able to actually plan for retirement. I would recommend them to anyone that is serious about getting out of debt.

I was in debt by a few thousand and needed the help since the costs of "just making it" was catching up really fast. A friend recommended NDR as a very reputable way of clearing out the debt. I looked them up, made a call and I was on my way. Word of advice, make sure to follow their requests and suggestions and keep a VERY TIGHT BUDGET! The money they request goes to the larger goal of debt clearing, and they can get it done pretty fast! Does your credit rating take a hit? Yes, it’s expected since your clearing a debt, but after a year all that goes back to normal because you are now no longer paying the bare minimum and missing payments from the debts you had for so long. Took me 2 years to complete the program, couldn't be happier now!

I was looking to make a purchase for a home so I wanted to clear up some things and my interactions with National Debt Relief went well. I've been in the program since January 1st and I've submitted a whole bunch of items to them. The phone calls from creditors have stopped. NDR got in through two of the accounts. One is completely paid off and I'm currently making payments for the other one now.

The services are excellent, they returned my calls or replied email messages within 24 hrs. Customer service staffs are very friendly and explain all in detail. Communication is perfect and updated me with any progress, both email and phone calls.

I was a single mom, I had a sick baby and couldn't work. I had good credit (700's) so I applied for a heap of credit cards. By the time I had gotten back to work, I had severe credit card debt. I am most happy about the two debts the NDR has resolved for me. I have a concern. I was asked to pay extra money over what I had signed on for originally. One payment of $3100 now and one of $610 next month. I asked if these payments would be part of my agreed upon payment. The answer was "no". I don't understand why I am being asked for substantial additional money over and above my agreed upon amount - and that it is not considered part of the total for the amount I was told at the beginning.

Everyone that I have talked to and dealt with thus far has made everything very easy and explained everything very well. It seems they are very well trained in their jobs. I also like the fact that a law firm will be involved in dealing with my personal case if need be. Everyone has also been very patient with me and was able to answer all my questions.

I just began with this program so from then to now I am satisfied. I hope that this would help me with my debt and future problems if any. I was self-employed and had a surgery back in August of 2015. I was out of work for three weeks. A week after my surgery, my wife went into labor, and she was out of work for eight weeks. In my experience with National Debt Relief, I think they are pretty awesome. They help you take care of debts that get out of control with a lower payment per month, even if it's only by $100 or so. It obviously ruins your credit, but is so worth it if you feel like you're in over your head. Every time we have talked to them, they have been very helpful and informative about what is going on with our creditors who are still awaiting a settlement. It is a way longer process than I had initially anticipated, but we have about 2 years out of our 3 years left and have a ton of our debt already settled. It feels so good to know that they are working their hardest to help us out!

I don't have any other experience to compare NDR against so my comments are general. The process seems incredibly slow. If any research is needed that is on me, no service is provided. For the most part, collection calls, emails, letters have stopped but one shows up now and then. Just received one today. The debt is reduced steadily but I don't get any information that encourages me (i.e. just 1 more year and you're free!). Perception is, just another LARGE monthly bill that I pay every month that will never end. So, my criticism, I guess, is no personal involvement or encouragement. That would add value to the service.

This was a very bad experience. The first individual I spoke with who "sold" the program was not informative, did not explain the process, just started asking me for info and to email various documents, then emailing some back to me to electronically sign and send back. I felt like I was being handled by a used car salesman. If you decide to use this company, ask lots of questions, don't send or sign anything until you are satisfied you know what you're getting. Most importantly he couldn't/wouldn't tell me how much my monthly payments would be. Didn't find that out until the deal was done.

I received a call that there was a update on my account, great news but a little confusing on the details. The person I spoke with went over the details until I was confident in understanding and changed a few things to accommodate my budget. Love the way they always make me feel like it will be okay.

Tee ** was very descriptive and I didn't have to ask many questions in order to understand what the program offered. I was walked through the whole process in a timely manner and I felt like a priority instead of most companies who seem to not want to help their customers! This was a great experience.

The experience I had with National Debt Relief was, for the most part, a positive one. Everyone I spoke with left me feeling that this was a positive move to aide my family going through sickness and unemployment. Bill collectors stopped calling as Nation Debt Relief took care of everything. I was also kept up to date the status of negotiations in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is the unclear discussion concerning taxes. The amount that was forgiven was handled as income and this left an expected surprise during tax season. This information should be made clear from the beginning of the relationship. Individuals agree to make a set payment each month to have funds available to pay debtors the negotiated amount. This does not leave much negotiation room for taxes that may be due.

NDR has been able to negotiate on my debt that will result in me saving thousands of dollars. My only complaint is that I have to make additional payments in order for the settlement to be approved which will make things difficult for a while, but in the long run it's worth it!

Realistically National Debt Relief formula works. However there is very little wiggle room in their formula. When I have called their service line I rarely if ever get helpful answers to my questions. It feels like they are reading a script to answer any questions that I have. If they do not have an appropriate "script" to answer the question then I get an answer like, "I can't see the notes on your account so I can't help you." If you are looking for a "partner" to be beside you to relieve your debt, National Debt Relief does not fit that bill.

I worked with Alan **. Alan was precise and professional. I am happy with the arrangement that has been provided for me by NDR. While there are some negative impacts, they outweigh, by far, the black hole I was digging. I have a light at the end of my tunnel and a goal I can work towards. First of all, when I signed up for the program I was told a bunch of stuff that was not true, and I ended up getting two summons to show up in court due to debts that they were supposed to take care of. When I called to confront the situation with one of the employees, they thought they had me on hold but I could still hear them talking and one of them called me the "B" word. Once they came back on the line I told them that I heard them call me that, and they said they were speaking to somebody else and they apologized that I heard it. I told them that I heard them say "I don't want to talk to that ** lady. She is a total B." I told them that I know this phone call is being recorded and they can play it back to hear that is exactly what they said.

Two of my bills were paid off before the end of the first year of being in the program. This company does what it says it will do to resolve your debt as quickly as possible! If you have extra money to add to account, I would highly recommend paying extra. This makes it easier to resolve debt faster.

I am getting a lot of calls saying that they are not getting any information from you. Also that they are getting no answer when they call the number you gave me. It would be nice if you would send everyone a letter saying what is going on. Also you have been taking $252 a month out of my checking account & I would like to know if you have paid anyone anything.

Working with National Debt Relief has been effective for me and I've already recommended them. They've kept the credit card people off my back so I've less stress. When they were making arrangements with credit card companies, they would call me and ask me if I wanted to settle a certain amount.

I found myself in debt way over my head after saying "YES" to the credit card companies. I was very upset about losing control of keeping up my monthly payments. I entered into a 42 months payment agreement with National Debt Relief program to pay off my credit card debt. When dealing with National Debt has been a good experience. Very helpful and courteous. When I had someone serve me papers at my house about one of my debts they took care of everything. It gave me such relief. I feel ashamed but got help.

I signed up in May 2017. At this time I continue to receive bills from the one & only debtor. I have no idea if any negotiations have been made with them since I have not received any communications from National Debt Relief. Other than the times I have called to inquire... being told it may take up to 90 days. The debtor tells me they "do not negotiate"??? My payments are taken out monthly as agreed to.
