    We talked to National Debt Relief team and then set up the credit card with them. We deposit monthly the payment of the credit card that we need to pay off and so far, so good. We looked at other relief help but we felt National Debt was more reputable. They are working diligently for us, working with the creditors that we dealt with. Whenever there’s an opportunity, they call us and say, “Hey, we have this opportunity. Would you like to proceed with this?” And it was just very smooth. It really gives us peace of mind because now, we’re already halfway than when we started. Overall, they are fantastic.

    I was in the process of transitioning jobs and I had a lot of debt. It was too overwhelming and I needed to get out of it to move forward with my life. I looked on the internet for different options to get out of my situation and National Debt Relief was one of the first ones that came up. I read other articles and they came up a couple times again so I gave them a call. The initial plan I have was for 36 months and I have a bit over a year left over, but I’ve been making extra payments, so it might finish a bit earlier. It’s great not having to balance five different credit card bills and only being able to make minimum payments for each.

    Over a year ago, I got my car broken and needed money to fix my window, so I had to call in to ask to skip a payment and figure out the payments for later on to make it up. It was a good experience. Anyone I’ve talked to tried their best to help me solve my problem and I’ve never gone away from a conversation with customer service without having my problem resolved. Overall, working with National Debt was an improvement and it’s great not having to balance five different credit card bills and only being able to make minimum payments for each. It's a lot of relief to not be dealing with the finances alone.

    Negotiating with collection agencies can be a stressful experience and it’s nice to see a debt get resolved. I’ve had agents yell at me over the phone, so I prefer to pay the fee to not be the one that has to interact with them. A collection agency for one of my big accounts kept mailing me bills, which I’ve been forwarding over to National Debt and they’re negotiating it. They make what is a very stressful part of my life a lot easier to manage and it's easier to move forward and figure out other aspects in my life.

    I felt like the informational call and initial paperwork call was amazing! But as soon as a welcome call was needed, it got awful. They would not stick to a scheduled window I established with them not once, but FOUR TIMES. I am sorry but if you call me at a time I did not tell you I would be available, no I can't stop and drop and talk to you for 20+ minutes. I would always give them a 1-2 hour window to call me when I would be available, and then they would call 2 hours after the end of that window! Then of course I would not be available.

    Then I finally call the main line and talk to someone who I was not familiar with and to say the service was impersonal would be generous. He seemed to not give a ** about me or my life and all he cared about was says the script he is required to say. I had to keep interrupting him to get a very important question answered! He couldn't hang up fast enough. Honestly I am going to talk to my husband about canceling our agreement.

    I went with another company 18 years ago. When I saw and read about National Debt Relief a bit, I thought they’re a bit better, and they were when I called them. NDR had a trace that looked at things to make sure that people don't renege. They cost a little more but it was worth it because I was swimming and I needed a lifeline really quick. The enrollment with NDR was an easy process which took 30 minutes.

    Before this happened, I was straight up clean. I had money in the bank and savings. When I initially went with NDR, I told them the whole story but there's no need to tell the whole story anymore and that was a wonderful thing. I've been using NDR for a year and a half now and the interactions with the NDR team were all positive. Everybody was cool when I told them that I can't make the whole payment, which was $200 because I have a problem. But one girl that I talked to didn't understand and just wanted to drive home. I had to lower the payment again this month and she wouldn't take it. I decided to put my foot down and told her to back off because I know my situation and she doesn't.

    One company agreed to the settlement amount and took the payment but all of a sudden, they decided they weren't going to take payments anymore and backed out. NDR's attorney got right on it. When NDR's attorney jumped on that company for backing out, it felt like I had someone that truly had my back. NDR relieved my stress and I have less burden working with them. I would recommend NDR to a friend. Overall, I'm relieved and surprised.

    I’m still active in the National Debt Relief program so I’m not a finished-off consumer. The team has been very knowledgeable and they’ve been very helpful with my personal financial situation.     I was looking for relief help for credit cards and loans and got National Debt Relief. I'm still in the process of getting completed and I hope they can go a little bit faster. They said it would take like up to 48 months but still I look at it and I'm like, "Is this going to be done in 48 months?" They just say that it takes time to work out the details and get deals so that they can lower the amount of interest rate and whatnot. They don't disperse the money right away and that's what's hurting us. I can honestly say I've never seen my credit score this low.     I lost my job seven years ago. I had shoulder surgery and nerves in my arm were damaged. I got nothing out of it except disability. And then right after that my wife lost a $50,000 job. She went two and a half years working piddly part time jobs. All we can do was keep the roof over our heads but we got a bunch of credit card bills. She finally got a job but we were so in debt. Neither one of us is young and we didn’t want to file for bankruptcy so we went with National Debt Relief.

    So far, working with them has been okay. They’re settling stuff as it goes along then they call, ask and we gotta agree on it. The only thing that aggravated me was yesterday’s call. They called late, like 4:25 and told us they’re gonna settle two more debts but needed more money. They always ask if we want to put in more and we say no. I also referred to our agreement of how much out of my wife’s paycheck every two weeks would be given to them. The rep then told me one of the accounts can be settled without the extra money but they really needed extra for the other one. So I told her I’ll talk to my wife about it. I called National back today and I said they had to cancel that. They had settled some kind of agreement and they cancelled. But the rep didn't tell me that it was the last day of the month and now I gotta renegotiate it.

However, at the end of the process, when I called to find out when my last payment was due to National Debt Relief, it took a long time (two or more months) and many phone transfers to a person who could or would take the time to discover that a document I had e-signed needed to be physically signed and mailed to a creditor. That was frustrating and not well explained until I finally reached someone at a management level who knew what was happening with my account.     When I spoke to the first rep, they left me under the impression they would quickly negotiate my payoffs. I had no idea they were going to wait, in one instance a year before negotiating. The credit card company continued to charge me interest. Therefore, the additional interest charged would have paid off another balance. I thought the interest would stop. Very disappointed.

    In the meantime, I did get a call from a company that led on their phone call with "No additional interest charges". Which is what I expected from this company. I requested they only take $299 the July 31 payment. I told them I would be overdrawn. They took full payment and I got charged $74 overdraft & I'm still short. I will be requesting $200 payment only for last payment in September. What happens will decide what I do. I'm very disappointed.

    I had bankruptcy so I read a lot of reviews online and pretty much all of the debt relief companies are a scam. With National Debt Relief, they get their money but they do the job that you need them to do and they seemed like the most established company so I went with them. I had dealings with quite a few of their team. They do these robo-dials and I get some voice named Sarah, the robot. If I want to talk them, I push 1, and they sure seem to hound and call me a lot. They're always trying to get me to increase my contributions to the program so that they can finish early. And I'm not dumb, we've already agreed on an amount they're going to get so I would love to finish early as well. It’s outrageous that they keep me on hold for an inordinate amount of time.

    I also had several experiences with their phenomenal customer service and at all times, every representative has been polite. They apologize profusely for having me wait. But sometimes, at about eight to 10 minute, I hang up because I know they're going to robocall me again. The cost is understandable though because they take 20% something of the debt. They need to provide the service because they're certainly getting a lot of money to do it. They could ease up but this may be tied to commissions. Something in their methodology is a little off but whatever they have to do to get people to work there, they're not fooling anybody who is bright growing up. My problems are not excessive, just annoying.

    Those are criticisms that are valid but I am quite happy with their customer service. For the most part, I'm happy the way things are going. There were little hiccups here and there but we're still new in the program. We've had lots of settlements and accepted several, and I like that they have to handle all of those and just dodge those companies’ calls.

    Updated on September 6, 2018: As my employment went up and down, NDR worked with me to schedule payments around that. They let me break up my payment weekly for a little while as that was easier. Then the employment changed and I wasn’t getting paid weekly anymore. They quickly changed it right over to biweekly so I didn’t get hit with overdraft fees. They were very accommodating. If I had questions, they always had answers.

    I'm completely happy with the quality of services that I’m receiving. My interactions with the rep were all fairly painless. Though I haven't completed the program, I had all but one minor credit card settlement agreement and I'm paying it off. NDR has taken a lot of stress off me trying to juggle around a bunch of different credit cards. Most of them were in debt collections by the time I was fully employed again, so that was a big headache and a big hassle. NDR streamlined that and I got one place to put money to. And as long as I do that, everybody is happy.

    There's a way to reduce the payment on bills but I didn’t have that knowledge so I called the professionals at National Debt Relief. They're the first people I called and they were great when the program first started. But then after that, I haven’t heard from anybody and I've already been with them for about nine months. Whenever they'd seal a deal, they’d shoot an email saying that they got an offer and if I like it. I have four accounts with them and I’ve received about three emails regarding moving on to some accounts and then 20 other emails asking about how they’re doing. It would be nice if they'd call once a month to say what accounts they’re waiting to close or tell me not to worry and that everything will be smooth.     Updated on 09/07/2018: National Debt Relief was able to work with me on the payment plan and I was impressed by the fact that the negotiators get results right away. It has been less than a year, but they negotiated a lot of my debt. I have a spreadsheet showing how much I owed and how much they negotiated and I was very impressed at what they’re doing.     National Debt Relief has a nice web page and I saw comments so I decided to go with them. Their team knew what they were doing because I didn’t get a hard time to understand. They were doing their job great. The first time I called NDR, I agreed that they set an auto-debit for me. They told my creditors everything that they got and then gave me the opportunities so I accepted their offer after we started settling all these solutions. I got seven cards and they covered those and they got it done on the first four cards. I had debt and after I signed up with them, everything is getting better and I won't be able to lose my credit because of NDR. I'm almost paid off for my debts and it's really faster than I expected. I can pay easily and get all these debts done after working with them to solve it. National Debt Relief is the best, they’re amazing and everything is easy to set up. I appreciate the business.

    My husband and I had some debt that we needed to take care. We were planning to do it on our own and obviously, there's not really much help as far as trying to get the money that we needed to do it. Then I also ended up taking a personal loan out, but the interest rates were so high that it wasn't really helping. So, my husband told me about National Debt Relief. We did a research and then we just did it.

    When we first got started, we called and talked to one of the representatives and they explained to us what it was and how it works and they also gave us the pros and cons of the whole process. From there, we gave them information of us and they looked up all of our stuff and then they saw what was qualified for the program. They then let us know how much it would cost every month. We've been doing that and then periodically, they'll call and let us know if they need something from us or if they settled a debt.

    They know what they're talking about and they keep us updated with everything that's going on. Also, they're good in helping us better understand what credit is and like how our debt goes up and with the late fees. We're still trying to get through the process, but there is a sense of relief and peace in knowing that our debts are taken care of. They've been a good program for us as far as what we were going through and what we needed and I'm glad that we're doing it.
