I was in a desperate situation. I needed help with my financial situation. I was in my bathroom and I heard the man talking on the commercial of National Debt Relief saying "if you need help please visit." So I was like, it’s a sign for me to call. I called them and I told the rep my situation at that time which was really a hardship. I was about to lose my home and it was horrible.

National Debt Relief helped me out of a tough situation. Their reps were courteous and were able to answer all of my questions over the phone. They were helpful for a while, while I was working, but the last couple of months, I haven't had any contact with them because I haven't had any income. Overall, they’re doing a good job. I never expected to be in a tough situation, but I am glad to have NDR that I could call on for help. I'm still in a tough, pressure situation but at least I finally got a job. So, I'll make that plan working again then I'll hopefully be able to get out of debt.

I was drowning in credit card debt and National Debt Relief has been good. They’ve been great anytime that I've reached out to them for assistance and I've always gotten an immediate response. It brought my monthly payments to my credit card companies way down to where I can actually manage my finances and have money for groceries. They've successfully closed two of my four accounts. I haven't heard anything from them in a few months but I assume they're taking care of my account. They've been extremely helpful to me and were there when I thought there was no good outcome to my financial situation. They gave me the light at the end of the tunnel that I could manage my finances and could get them paid down and come out on top in the end.

My only concern with my experience was a lack of clear communication. I realize the representatives have to often repeat many statements to many different clients. As a result, they sometimes speak too fast and slur the words making it difficult to understand. I found myself asking many times for them to repeat, and felt a bit rushed through the process. Other than that, I was very pleased!

The payment schedules were manageable, and I was able to defer when something unexpected came up. Overall, they helped me resolve my debt issues and keep calm about it. Updated on 10/04/2018: National Debt Relief was able to negotiate a lot of our debts and knock the prices out. Things get broken in half or become less, so the program is going a little faster than I thought, which is nice. I have six debts and I only have around four more before it is all paid. It is going well. I just have one that I’m trying to have them deal with, but it’s one of those companies that’s a pain to deal with. Working with National Debt Relief has taken so much stress off.

I’ve been with National Debt Relief since January and February was my first payment that I made to the bank. They're working on three accounts but right now, I'm having a problem with Target. The bill there has been getting nasty. They say I have $1,500 of interest on my account and that it's due and payable. They turned my case over to a collection agency and they keep calling me. If I don't pay it by a certain time, they're going to take me to court and I'm getting scared.

I was retiring and I knew I was going to have less money, so I was looking for ways to get out of debt and everybody from NDR has been courteous, very helpful and answered my questions. I had little debts which I wanted to consolidate and pay. National Debt Relief's team has been pretty good and their customer service had been really great. Working with them has been positive so far. They have come to some positive decisions and some payments have been resolved as of yet. They charge a little fee but as long as my debts are resolved, there's no issue on it.

I then went online and was reading the reviews and National Debt Relief is better than some of the other places. When creditors contact NDR, they're eager to try to work something out. I had a situation where I was in a debate with Sprint where they were saying I owed some money, and I didn’t. They had contacted NDR who had worked out a thing for them. I wasn’t too happy about it because I was just challenging what the price was that they said I owed. However, I worked with the representative and we came to a resolution and the whole nine yards.

They very on top of getting settlements with creditors for their customers. The way they go about doing that is either by email or by phone call to confirm the settlement with the customer. They are very easy to get in touch with and also getting an answer to any question that you may have.

Both representatives were courteous, helpful and dedicated to getting me started. The forms I needed to sign were sent quickly to my email and the instructions were easy to understand. Your representative guided me thru each form. Thanks for the assistance.

Good Communication when I first signed up but after I cannot get a hold of my main point of contact. I tried sending an email to service@nationaldebtrelief.com and my email was returned. Not feeling so well without communication, I like a response when I send an email.

My daughter threw my husband and I out into the street. Scared and nowhere to go. We took a loan with Rise not knowing that the interest was so high. We are very grateful to National Debt Relief. But when we first signed on they were very nice to help us with credit card debt. But we're unwilling to help with medical bills. Only wish we could have been helped with medical. Other than that great job.

There was this one moment that came up when I was being sued from one of the credit cards. I had a business with sales and so I’ve got about 100,000 in debt. I tried to get a loan but nobody would give me one. Somebody I was talking to recommended National Debt Relief and so far, I haven’t had any problems with them. They have a website set up with my account so I can send them letters I get from the creditors. I talk to them when they negotiate something with one of the creditors. They call, e-mail or text me to contact them and they tell me what they’ve negotiated and I approve it. They then sign the deal.

My experience with National Debt Relief was very pleasant. Everyone I talked to was very helpful and all the agents I dealt with conducted themselves in a professional manner. The agents were also very accessible. I never had any problems contacting anyone from NDR. NDR made a difficult and daunting experience easy to deal with. One issue I did have and I'm not really sure what NDR could have done to help in this situation involved one of the credit card companies we dealt with issuing a 1099.

My interactions with the team at NDR were very good and, whenever I called, the Customer Service understood everything I explored.

I searched the internet for a debt relief program and as far as reviews go, National Debt Relief had better reviews and more satisfied customers, so we chose to go with them. I worked with a few people at NDR and they were all very pleasant and helpful. They also took the time to listen and really understand what it is that I was looking for and how they can help me. NDR provided a lot of structure as far as getting our debt paid off and made things a little easier in that respect.

I am disabled and had minimum income. I looked into getting debt relief because of my credit card debt. I stumbled upon National Debt Relief on the internet and it will be a year in December since I went with them. First, I had to call and talk to their rep, Teresa. She’s really good and she helped me out. She made it seem that it would work and I could afford the payment. Even though I’d just be doing the minimum balances, it was hard to completely let things go. But my credit score was bad. My credit score is worse now, although the reps from NDR kept telling me that it would get better.

At first, I contacted NDR for taxes but once I talked to them, I realized they can't do anything with that. Then we talked about the other debt. The first guy I talked to was the best. He explained exactly what the program does and what happens. It was really easy to understand how to call them or how to add if I had another debt. We pay them a certain amount of money twice a month. It's an 18-month program and 5 out of 10 or 11 have been paid off so far. A tremendous burden was lifted off our shoulders.

After I consolidated my loans with NDR my FICO score dropped from 640 to below 500. They only settle one account at a time, meanwhile the other accounts are ignored. With every payment you make some goes to the creditor. The rest goes to NDR high fees. I canceled this service after a few months and ended up paying mostly their fees. I DO NOT recommend this service for people with good/fair credit and with multiple debt accounts. It will ruin your credit and end up in court with your creditors. Deal with your creditors directly instead.

Was told if not satisfied can take out the 2 bills you have not settled on. We are upset that nobody calls. You pay $200 to PNC and yet you take $1,341 out of our bank each month. Put that to our PNC payment.

I called to see if they had received my opt out letter. They said yes. After talking a few minutes and my explaining that I had sent my opt out letter within three business days, he said he would opt me out of the program and explained the procedure to do so. I have not heard from them since that day. I took steps with my bank to make sure they could not take any money from my account. It is a little inconvenient at the moment but my account was protected.

I know we end up not paying our entire debt and NDR is there to mediate that, but when we need help it would be nice if we could somehow cut the debt in half and even less. We're already being penalized through our credit score, so I think our debt should be automatically cut in half or less to help us get back on track quicker.
