Very good customer service and professionalism. National Debt Relief associate T. ** was polite and helpful when going through the application process. The only thing I can think of is there needs to be a hotline for customers to call 24/7 to get account information changes and things done that was recommend by the company.

Upon speaking with the first & only rep from Debt Relief, she showed professionalism, was exceptionally courteous & very friendly. When answering any question that I had, I felt totally assured. I believe this is a great program, however one I wish I didn't have to take.

So far, I get tons of phone calls several times a day with a recording saying, "If you would like to review your current information please call us." Never a person, not sure what they are calling for. The charges that they charge are ridiculous, I thought it was not for profit. None of these charges were explained in the interview when I signed up. When I have a bad month and can't make my payment I am made to feel horrible and the whole reason I signed up with them is because I need help not need to be belittled. I try the best I can and then I get calls from the NDR lawyer saying I should pay a large amount for a credit card settlement that there is no way I can even think of affording to pay. Unreal. Just not sure where to turn from here.

We have not received any notifications on the status of our account. We check on our account and it appears that nothing has been done. We are getting calls from numbers we do not recognize and do not answer. We do not know if notices have been sent to these companies. We are having a difficult time with this and need some assurances.

I am disappointed in this entire process. I am paying more on fees than is being paid off of my debt. I am being served with papers and I cannot get a response from anyone at the company. I would have been better off taking care of this on my own. I will never recommend this to anyone, in fact I will warn anyone about this scam.

All of my questions were answered clearly and I received help and advisement in a respectful and patient manner. Although it is a lengthy process, the time it took to complete all the necessary documents went smoothly. I found the entire process worthwhile in order to feel peace of mind as I work towards gaining control of my finances again.

NDR was rated very highly so I chose them. Their reps were very understanding, explicit and easy to reach, and I’m very happy with them. NDR has taken a burden off of me. They gave me a 48-month program and I hope to finish it in 18 to 20 months. I had a wonderful experience with them and would recommend them to anybody.

Tried to get on the program months ago but never heard back from anyone so I tried again and I was told I needed a bank account with a routing number so I got that all taken care of and now I'm on the program. The people helped me out really well and hopefully there's no catch.

I was starting a new business and I took on a lot of personal debt and I got a little trouble with it. So far, everything has been good with National Debt Relief but there's not much communication on the updates. In terms of the plan to go, once you deal with that first adviser, there's not a lot of personalized interaction that sort of discusses where you're at in your plan. They would need sort of more of that rather than just putting you right into the day-to-day debt communications and debt payoffs. Those people don't seem to have a connection with my account. They just seem to be processing data. So once in a while, even if it's every couple of months, a personal update would be good. Other than that, NDR has given me some additional peace of mind. They took some of the contacts off our hands and they seem to be getting settlements done. It's relieving overall.

National Debt Relief has been very good. Talking to the representatives has been very positive. They didn't push me into anything. National Debt Relief is helping me get out of a big debt. I would recommend them if anyone asked.

The people at National Debt Relief have all been good and courteous. I'm not making payments on time and they took care of the situation and resolved the issues. My credit score has gone way up and everything is starting to get paid off. We didn't have a whole lot of debts so it was a lot easier for us but I would imagine that anybody who had a great amount of debt, this program would just really help them out. I had a conversation with my then fiancé about looking into relief help, and with some major life-change coming up, I decided it was time to resolve issues as quickly and as reasonably as I could. The team at National Debt Relief has been very proactive with telephone calls and emails that have been appropriate and have been timely. I've had a couple of issues where I've had to call back in again and again to get a result, and that’s because the way they're divided up into teams of customer service people and negotiators wasn’t readily apparent at first.

When I first signed up with NDR back in May, they were absolutely wonderful. I spoke with Sharde for almost an hour & I was excited to get my debt under control, I even saw a settlement within the first month or so. During this time, they found another creditor for me to add, I saw a minimal payment increase but it was worth it. Fast forward to today & I'm still receiving harassing phone calls from some of the creditors that I originally enrolled in the program, in fact, one of them is now escalating their collection efforts. I thought after this amount of time, more of my accounts would have a settlement agreement.

So far nothing has been done. I've paid into the plan for 2 months now and literally nothing has been paid. I used a different debt relief program a number of years ago who were able to start settling things after a few weeks. I'm accruing late fees and interest. This is getting aggravating.

When I first called National Debt Relief, it was very pleasant and they seemed very helpful and informative about what they do and their programs. They have helped me take the initial burden of creditors. I tried to deal with the creditors myself and it was impossible. But NDR disappointed me. They called four months into the program after I've been paying and wanted more money per month. We agreed to a certain amount and they backed out on that deal. I agreed to it one time, but I'll never agree to it again 'cause it's turning into a burden ever further. It's something I cannot do and I'm already struggling and they know that. The experience was pleasant, but I'd tell people to make sure to stick to their ground and don't let NDR come back at the later date and try to turn things on you.

I needed relief and I’ve been with National Debt Relief for less than a year now. It's still costing me almost $500 a month, which is a lot and I'm on Social Security but I'm managing. I’ve been in National Debt Relief's program for about a year and it has been positive so far. I talked to them a couple of times for some questions. I was figuring everything out and what they could potentially do. We just had a baby a couple of months ago and National Debt Relief helped lower our payment for a few months so we could catch up on everything which was something that other companies won't do for us. The only thing disappointing was when all of my accounts went to collection despite them mentioning they would prevent it from happening. They don't take the fact that I haven’t gotten a raise. The only bills I have paid off are the ones that NDR have paid off and they want me to update every line item again. It's a 20-minute process every time and every time they catch me, I am at work, I've got my kids. It's just that I don't have 20 minutes. I just wish there was a better way of getting it other than on the phone. If I could do it online, I've got all my stuff at my computer online to where I can look it up.

All of my questions were answered, no surprises and great staff! When I first started I was a bit worried about how the settlement were going to be taken care of but the fact that there is a legal attorney by my side I feel much better. When I first enrolled with NDR I was given great advice and informed what to expect. I read some of the reviews prior to enrolling in the program and was reluctant to seek the help. However, I found that after speaking with the enrollment counselor and it was explained to me in detail what to expect; credit score will go down drastically, creditors will be relentless (give the creditor hotline number), the length of time to negotiation a settlement with creditors and the availability of a credit counselor changed my mind. I'm pleased with my choice to seek help from NDR. I'll be going downhill first but it'll be worth the climb uphill to be back on top.

Called NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF in May. They were able to resolve 1 out of 3 of my current credit card debt in September that same year!! Excellent customer service experience. If I had a question a representative was able to answer plus put my mind at ease.

I'm still waiting for to be deposited into my bank account as I had to pay for my answer to summons from Sears which I pay you guys each monthly $12.00 for the Lawyers. So I'm still waiting on this. It seem like I was being unreasonable. But in the end what I was asking for was done. So the three stars is simply for the Rocky start. I am hoping it will be better throughout the remainder of the process.

I had a problem with one of my aggressive creditors and National Debt Relief resolved it fast and accurate and was very helpful in assuring me that they could help me without courts or trouble and they did and I was very satisfied the way they handled it.

After hearing much about this program, I am disappointed by some of the things that have transpired during our participation in the program. Like pressuring us to take out a 21% interest loan to "help us settle" our accounts faster. We went with this program to try to get out from under 21% credit cards. Also we needed to move our payment date by 15 days because of my husband's disability and of course our payment went up $15/month. And with our last offer of settlement they wanted us to pay an ADDITIONAL $383/month on top of a $415/month payment. So originally our program was supposed to be for 22 months and now we are up to 30 months? :(

National Debt Relief is helping me tremendously with my loans. They're very knowledgeable. If I have a problem, they work with me. So, that's very, very good. I had a few loans that they have taken care of. And I think there's one that's coming to closure but I have to get back to them as soon as I get myself together because I've been very sick.

I was getting overwhelmed with all my debts. I had allowed my head to overload my health and I had led my family members get me all in bad debt. I don't know which way to go with it and I don't know whether to file for bankruptcy or debt relief. I checked a couple of websites. Then I checked the ratings and National Debt Relief came out the better one at that time.

I could never catch up with my debts so I looked into relief help and went with NDR. A lady called me and she was very helpful and sincere on the phone. I get an alert if something closes and if they have any questions, they call me. Also, all of my questions have always been answered. Everything is being taken care of and it’s made my life less stressful. It’s been a pretty pleasant experience so far.

Our interactions with the National Debt Relief people were all positive. They were always very friendly, seemed very willing to help and were understanding of the situation. We're still paying on all our debts and trying to take care of that so it seems like we're still very much in the same situation we were before but so far, it's been very good working with National. I enjoy being able to think that we could be debt-free and I'm looking forward to it.

I didn't want bankruptcy so I looked into relief help. My interactions with National Debt Relief have been good for the most part. I got irritated a couple of times but it still worked out in the end. The most recent problem is that they kept transferring me back and forth. They transferred me to one department and then they would say that I’m in the wrong area so I'm transferred back. The representative did it three or four times in a row. I said, "Wait. Hold on. Before you transfer me, let me tell you what's going on because you're just switching me back between two different departments." But they've always been courteous and eventually they were able to answer my questions. National Debt Relief definitely lowered my stress level and took a lot off my plate. They met my expectations and I would recommend them.

I had about ten debts that had really made my credit report horrific. This was something that was impacting my life and it became overwhelming. I was trying to look for more reputable debt companies that I can trust. I came across NDR and looked at what other people said about them. Their fees are high and it was almost 25%. And it’s off of the actual initial balance and not on what's settled. But it took away all the headache. They’re literally on top of things. They call me and they’re letting me know when they are making a settlement, if I want to settle for that or if I say no to it. They have a legal team that would negotiate for me things that I would have no time to do. So if I have to pay for that, then it’s worth it for me.

Things were getting out of control and I needed to fix the problem. National Debt Relief takes the pressure off of me and I'm getting things that I control. The reps are also very helpful. Overall, it's been a good experience, very simple and easy.

National Debt Relief stopped the collection calls and they were able to settle six out of the 16 debts that we had at a much lower rate. And they did all the paperwork so the collectors can't come back at us later. I've heard that even though you settle, some people try to come back at you again. Also, NDR was helpful every time and they let me know when they were getting ready to settle a debt and they called to get permission. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We wanted to try to get out of debt because we were drowning in it and NDR lowered our stress levels significantly since we didn't have to get calls every day from collectors. I would recommend them.

I talked to a friend who said that National Debt Relief was good and would help me a lot. He told me that they would give better options instead of paying all that money every month. I called them up and they were very professional. They gave me the spiel and told me to put something in an account then they would try to get a better deal and work on my debts on my behalf. I like what they said and I went for it.

Am too new to write accurate review. From what have experienced so far, dont feel I've been helped enough. Debtors still contact me and send statements to me even with signed cease communications paperwork. Also feel negotiations should start from the first deposit. Not after the balance has accumulated to a certain point. Like stated before, too new to program to write accurate review. Maybe in 6 months things will improve.
