It was a hard choice to make to decide to finally do something about debt. When I finally did, it all moved so quickly and I am incredibly grateful for all NDR has done for me. Six months in and I am already seeing huge progress.

Very good company. They have been very helpful and my debts are getting paid off. When I need to look up my account it is readily available. Any questions I have are answered. The payments are very acceptable and they are doing exactly what we had talked about.

It was off to a Rocky start, I'm still pretty neutral with NDR right now. Nothing has hit the "WOW" factor. Especially after the first settlement negotiation and the call being escalated to a supervisor when I didn't ask for escalation and she didn't handle the situation very well. But so far 3/15 creditors have been negotiated with. I'm looking forward to see how they handle the bigger debt accounts so to be continued.

I'm happy that they have negotiated Citi Bank, but Chase keeps calling me. I've asked customer service to have someone call Chase, but I'm still getting the calls. I've been paying NDR since January 2017 instead of Citi and Chase. On my credit it looks like I'm a dead beat. My rating has suffered tremendously. I'm disappointed that an agreement with Chase hadn't been reached.

UPDATED 05/24/2019: The process was really easy and our interactions with the rep were really good. The negotiators have always been straightforward and told us what was going on. Plus, they answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We were told what our payment was gonna be and when we needed to split the payment up in a month, they did that really easily. NDR has been great.

My wife was diagnosed with Cancer and with borrowing and trying to obtain money for copays and everything I had debtors calling all hours of the day and night on top of the problems with my wife. Finally I called National Debt Relief and signed up with them. It was a relief not to have to deal with Debtors and could just focus on my wife. After 3 1/2 years I am debt free and I have to say that I owe it all to these people.

Gene was great in explaining everything. From the initial consultation to the details of the process. I would recommend the initial call to be refined. The person assisting me with the setup seemed very rush and there were portions of the process that are unclear.

My grandmother needed relief help and she went with National Debt Relief. At first, the interaction with the team was pleasant, and then in the middle, it was frustrating. Now, the frustration is over and it's okay, but it was painstaking for my grandmother when we initially started the program. We had sent over their statements but we kept getting phone calls saying that they didn’t have them, and I kept telling the rep I was speaking with that they just have to look. One kid said he saw a document with a bunch of attachments but no statements and I asked if he opened up any of the attachments and he said no. And when he opened one attachment, lo and behold there were the statements. Nobody was willing to go above and beyond to look through the documents to see what they actually have.

I had a lot of debt so I looked up debt relief online and compared National Debt Relief to other websites or companies. I'm paying off debt one thing at a time and got a lot of debt settled by NDR. It made my life easier so I can get other things that I need like a house or a car or whatever it may be.

Because of the high-interest rates, it was impossible to pay off my credit card debt without NDR. They’re always there if I need them. They’re very responsive to any problems and they keep me up-to-date. So far, it’s been great. One credit card will be paid off in September, another in April, and I'll only have one left after that. NDR has been very helpful and very personal.

I had about $15,000 worth of debt that I hadn't been able to pay and I had some money come way, so I decided I wanted to get the debt cleared up. I looked National Debt Relief up on the internet and it seemed like it was okay. They wanted me to put a certain amount of money into a bank account for them to draw from in order to pay the debts that I had. I went ahead and gave them about $7,000 and that's going to clear up the debt. There were some people that they had to talk to, to pay all the debt off, but some of them wanted to do it over a time payment plan so it's been taking several months. But it will be hopefully cleared up by the end of this year at any rate. National Debt Relief enabled me to use a credit card again. I got one and I started using it a little too quickly and bought a new car for me but now that's all paid off. So far, my experience with National Debt Relief has been good.

National Debt Relief has been great. They’re really friendly and I can call and ask them anything and they'd help me out. I had some financial difficulties and so far, my debt is going down and I’m much happier. It seems like it’s going to work out.

What I like about National Debt Relief is that what they promote, that's what I've been getting. I’m happy that a lot of my debts are getting taken care of because the last thing I wanted to do is declare bankruptcy. Their team has been very professional and they let me know when something pops that will help take care of all the debts that I have.

My business was slow and I had issues and National Debt Relief told me that I would have 30% to 50% savings if I did relief help. I debated on whether to do bankruptcy or relief help and I wanted to at least pay some back because most of the creditors that I called wouldn't work with me. They seemed fine until now. I'm thinking about filing bankruptcy anyways because they're making money and I'm not saving any.

My husband was bitten by a brown recluse spider and was in the hospital and we incurred a lot of hospitalization bills. He was out of work for four months. It got bad real quick so we went with NDR. They advertised on the television that they take care of the debt first, then they get paid. But they will negotiate with a creditor and take their money before they go on to the next creditor. It gives you the illusion that they’re going to pay your credit cards and then pay themselves after the fact but when in fact, they won’t continue with another creditor until they get payment for the one they just negotiated. So, it’s a gray area. They want to make sure that they have money in there to cover their cost before they negotiate with a creditor. I’m not happy with that.

This is very easy. We did this right through email. Signed paperwork was easy. The directions were easy to understand. It's easy to save money. Yes your credit will take a hit but it will fix itself in a short time.

Debt Relief is handling all my debt and so far are doing everything they said they would do. They negotiate with the creditors and get me the best payoff price and set everything up for me so I don't have to worry. I just have to make my monthly payments and they do the rest.

Due to a serious illness we fell behind in credit card payments, contacted National Debt Relief for a solution. They were very helpful and very understanding. I was able to qualify for a hardship account and they were very helpful in setting things up for me. So far the experience has been a good one.

My score was bad in the beginning. Now it's horrible! 3 mo. in no results, creditors still harassing me. At least the Law firm did take a case. Not sure how they automatically come up with a total without 1st negotiating with the creditors. Some creditors in my opinion may not necessarily agree to their payoff, then what?

Just got a settlement with one of my creditors. It was more than I expected. It is a big reduction. Been less than six months. Very pleased so far! The staff is easy to talk to and very helpful with answering questions. Always make me feel secure with them. The Better Business Bureau gives them a A plus rating and so do I so far.

I Just started. I had one way out, this is to connect the cards to one account which I hate. I found the company National Debt Relief online on a Pinterest site. Looks like everything is good. Very easy and very nice customer service. Always answer clearly. Fast and easy to sign a contract, but process with every bank needs to couple months. I needs to see finish. :)

I was considering bankruptcy but I didn’t want to do that, and I had a lot of credit consumer debts. I was kind of embarrassed but I called National Debt Relief and they were very understanding and supportive. That was a good experience and it was helpful. I had eight or nine debts that I gave them and three have already been completely resolved while there's another one that they’re working on. Working with National Debt Relief made my life much better in terms of what I have to pay and to have a plan at the endpoint. That’s a big deal for sure. They’ve been very flexible and I'm amazed how positive everything has been in working with them.

I was paying off the TJ Maxx card and throughout the entire year, I never used the card. I was at my limit. I missed a couple of payments because I thought I had it on automatic paying. And when I caught up with the payments, I was on negative. I put $64 into it and only $20 went to the actual card. The rest was interest. I was looking to resolve that one but National Debt Relief called me and it was an all or nothing deal so I took the odds. Once I started, they got the ball rolling pretty fast.

National Debt Relief settled my old debts. So far, so good. However, they should improve the way that they settle the accounts. There are hundreds or thousands of clients paying for the settlement contract that it’s going step by step. They should pay off the debts and make an arrangement with the client. I wish they settle all the accounts weekly than they do because in a year and a half, I’ve been working and paying every 15 days and the process is going like a turtle.

After a decade or more of credit card debt, I enrolled in National Debt Relief's program - which lasted approximately 2.5 years for me. For the most part, the program worked as intended. One credit card company made it quite stressful in the first year of the program, but the guidance and communication from National Debt Relief eased my concerns. One minor critique is that during the latter half of my enrollment period, communication with me wasn't as good as the first half of my enrollment period. However, I never felt it was detrimental to my overall experience. I would certainly recommend National Debt Relief to others - I now have zero credit card debt, and that would probably not be possible without them.

Very good customer service and professionalism. National Debt Relief associate T. ** was polite and helpful when going through the application process. The only thing I can think of is there needs to be a hotline for customers to call 24/7 to get account information changes and things done that was recommend by the company.

So far, I get tons of phone calls several times a day with a recording saying, "If you would like to review your current information please call us." Never a person, not sure what they are calling for. The charges that they charge are ridiculous, I thought it was not for profit. None of these charges were explained in the interview when I signed up. When I have a bad month and can't make my payment I am made to feel horrible and the whole reason I signed up with them is because I need help not need to be belittled. I try the best I can and then I get calls from the NDR lawyer saying I should pay a large amount for a credit card settlement that there is no way I can even think of affording to pay. Unreal. Just not sure where to turn from here.

We have not received any notifications on the status of our account. We check on our account and it appears that nothing has been done. We are getting calls from numbers we do not recognize and do not answer. We do not know if notices have been sent to these companies. We are having a difficult time with this and need some assurances.

I am disappointed in this entire process. I am paying more on fees than is being paid off of my debt. I am being served with papers and I cannot get a response from anyone at the company. I would have been better off taking care of this on my own. I will never recommend this to anyone, in fact I will warn anyone about this scam.

I was starting a new business and I took on a lot of personal debt and I got a little trouble with it. So far, everything has been good with National Debt Relief but there's not much communication on the updates. In terms of the plan to go, once you deal with that first adviser, there's not a lot of personalized interaction that sort of discusses where you're at in your plan. They would need sort of more of that rather than just putting you right into the day-to-day debt communications and debt payoffs. Those people don't seem to have a connection with my account. They just seem to be processing data. So once in a while, even if it's every couple of months, a personal update would be good. Other than that, NDR has given me some additional peace of mind. They took some of the contacts off our hands and they seem to be getting settlements done. It's relieving overall.

When I first signed up with NDR back in May, they were absolutely wonderful. I spoke with Sharde for almost an hour & I was excited to get my debt under control, I even saw a settlement within the first month or so. During this time, they found another creditor for me to add, I saw a minimal payment increase but it was worth it. Fast forward to today & I'm still receiving harassing phone calls from some of the creditors that I originally enrolled in the program, in fact, one of them is now escalating their collection efforts. I thought after this amount of time, more of my accounts would have a settlement agreement.

So far nothing has been done. I've paid into the plan for 2 months now and literally nothing has been paid. I used a different debt relief program a number of years ago who were able to start settling things after a few weeks. I'm accruing late fees and interest. This is getting aggravating.

I’ve been in National Debt Relief's program for about a year and it has been positive so far. I talked to them a couple of times for some questions. I was figuring everything out and what they could potentially do. We just had a baby a couple of months ago and National Debt Relief helped lower our payment for a few months so we could catch up on everything which was something that other companies won't do for us. The only thing disappointing was when all of my accounts went to collection despite them mentioning they would prevent it from happening. But they’ve negotiated good deals with the companies once they went to collection. It’s a little bit of a bummer because I hit on my credit but at the same time National Debt Relief was helping me.

When I first called National Debt Relief, it was very pleasant and they seemed very helpful and informative about what they do and their programs. They have helped me take the initial burden of creditors. I tried to deal with the creditors myself and it was impossible. But NDR disappointed me. They called four months into the program after I've been paying and wanted more money per month. We agreed to a certain amount and they backed out on that deal. I agreed to it one time, but I'll never agree to it again 'cause it's turning into a burden ever further. It's something I cannot do and I'm already struggling and they know that. The experience was pleasant, but I'd tell people to make sure to stick to their ground and don't let NDR come back at the later date and try to turn things on you.

I just wish there was a better way of getting it other than on the phone. If I could do it online, I've got all my stuff at my computer online to where I can look it up.

When I first enrolled with NDR I was given great advice and informed what to expect. I read some of the reviews prior to enrolling in the program and was reluctant to seek the help. However, I found that after speaking with the enrollment counselor and it was explained to me in detail what to expect; credit score will go down drastically, creditors will be relentless (give the creditor hotline number), the length of time to negotiation a settlement with creditors and the availability of a credit counselor changed my mind.
