    Jonathan ** was very nice to work with, he is very professional and courteous at all times. He explained everything clearly, although he told us that a team of attorney's would be helping us with any legal problems, but I do not remember him mentioning that we would be signing a separate contract or that we would be paying a separate fee to the legal counsel assigned to us. Our experience so far has been pleasant and we are looking forward to getting our program underway.

    We're trying to eliminate some debt and we've been in National Debt Relief's program for about a year. Their program has reduced our monthly payment and we've settled some of our debts. It has helped a lot up until today where we had an issue. I got two of the companies that we were settling with and today is the deadline for their response but I can't get them to respond. This is kind of a big issue and I'm waiting for a lawyer to call me now. National's legal department shouldn't wait for last minute and respond quicker. Otherwise, I'd still recommend them.

    I dug a deep hole and I didn’t see myself getting out of it eventually so I contacted National Debt Relief. I had a pleasant experience and they were very helpful. They went over a lot of stuff with me and explained to the best of my understanding what they were going to do for me. I have four debt creditors that I don't have to deal with right now. They've helped me close two accounts so I've got two more accounts open. Using National Debt Relief's service is supposed to be cheaper than if I continued with the credit companies.     My wife got sick back in 2007 and I was the only one bringing the money in to pay.     With the financial situation I was in, I called up National Debt Relief and they gave me information. We've been into communication ever since. I'm in the program for 7 months now and they're about settling all the other outstanding debts that are open. Everything's happening for the most part of what they were promising. Yet some details could have been given further out as far as the breakdown for how they proceed with the debt that's out there. They could describe their process a little bit better for the customers going forward. Still, they've been very positive and I would tell others about the program and that they communicate and work with you well. They also need to be sure that they understand once they finalize with National Debt Relief that there are certain stuff that are going to take longer than expected.

    About a year ago I was swamped and couldn't see the end of the tunnel. When I thought there was no escape I was advised to file for bankruptcy but that is not a choice I would ever make. Overall, the process was fair, but the communication along the way needed some help. I got emails from them and they checked my account occasionally, but I was getting no verbal confirmation as to what was going on and they weren't calling me to let me know the status of things in my account.

    I had the credit cards that I was building up and I want to get the debt down. I’ve been with National Debt's program for about two years now. They didn't tell me how long I am left to go. They only told me how much was paid, what's going on and then I don’t hear from them at all. Once in awhile they give me a call but that's it. But I know I can call them to get an update.

    I thought that they were going to pay the debts off and I pay them in just one payment every month. I wasn’t told that they would put the funds aside and when they get enough they will start paying the credit cards off which I can do myself. So I was expecting something different but it worked out just as it goes and I had no problem with it. I put the funds in and then they pay my salary. But I would like National Debt Relief to let the client install the program and know how they're working it. But I think my debt is going down now. There can't be too much left.

    I was having financial hardship so I decided to get help from National Debt Relief. They're straightforward and we wanted to give them a try to see if it will work. They're still working with the creditors since there are ways to go. It’s taken some time to get all the creditors, but once they get with them, the negotiations have been well. We have a certain budget that we have to adhere to but when NDR is talking to the creditors, there’s not an option to deposit more funds than what was already established. On the other hand, the cost is fair. Because of the situation that we're in, anything would help. I think it’s a trade-off for what they provide.     I had credit card debt and I had lost my job, so I was four months without being able to make credit card payment. I really didn’t have an option but to reach out to National Debt Relief. It took me a while to figure out how it works but they’d been keeping me informed for the most part. I had three loans. One was paid off recently. Another one would be paid off next summer and then I got one more that hasn’t been resolved yet. But they’re waiting for funds to build up in my account. It’s been good and I’ve been happy with it so far. They've given me a little stress relief. It’s a lot easier to make one payment a month than have to worry about trying to make the minimum and all the interest occurring.

    I've been with NDR for almost a year and a half. They've addressed 3 out of 18 credit companies satisfactorily and I check those off. I have a four-year contract with NDR and I can plan my life for those days when all of this is over which I haven't been able to do that for a while. I've been so burdened with debt that I've never thought about what life would look like five years from now. Their team was very informative and supportive. I was distraught and every time that I sought help, they offered me a solution that I could live with. I no longer have to suffer through trying to make ends meet.

    Their fee surprised me though. They take their fee off the top as a settlement is negotiated. I received a settlement offer and the fee was hidden in the contract so when they took the fee, I was shocked. We have an escrow account set up and I put in a certain amount per month. When the account reaches a certain amount, then they negotiate with the creditors. They also look whether the amount is enough for them to take their fee. Once they negotiate with a lender, they consider that as complete and take their fee. When I originally read the contract, I thought the fee would come at the end of all 18 accounts. They take their 24% of whatever the negotiating thing was right at the beginning. When I make a payment to that lender, I also make a payment to NDR, and that comes from the escrow account. But all in all though, it's been a great experience.
