I was seeking help with credit cards and went with National Debt Relief due to their Better Business Bureau rating. Eric from NDR was the first one who contacted us. He was great and alleviated our fears and our worries. They've all been wonderful at NDR. They have already closed a couple accounts for us and we're continuing to work together and doing well. I now have less stress and I got a little bit of positive cash flow too and that helps. The cost of working with them was also very reasonable. I'd recommend this company to anybody else that has the same problem.

My husband had been very ill for a long time and we knew that he was going to be passing soon. And so, I was trying to get things in order preparing for that 'cause I was going to lose some of my income and I needed to do something with my high debt credit cards. I called National Debt Relief and the first point of contact was a counselor. You tell them about yourself and what's going on, then they do whatever they need at their end. He was great and answered all our questions so that I understood how it was going to work. From then on, my contact has been with the customer service people, and they've been terrific. With this whole experience, I get phone calls and things in the mail that are scary. NDR has been really great at working with me and keeping me calm through this whole thing.

National Debt Relief is willing to work with me but they want $300 monthly, and I'm on a limited budget of $870 a month. The girl who called yesterday doesn't seem to understand that when other things come up like if I have to have a tooth pulled for $1,600 and a new garage door for $17, and the dog had to have surgery, then I can't always do $300 month. If they subtract that from the $870, they would know how hard it is to live in. In some of the calls I made, the reps have been demanding that I put the money in. And then they told me I would have one paid for by January so I was hoping that would come up. But they said I missed a couple of payments. I put in what I could and now it’s stretching out another six months and I’m going to order some money go to it. They closed one account at the very beginning. And I've been with the company for over the year but I still can't understand where the money goes.

National Debt Relief looked like they had more of what I needed and I liked the way their program worked. Everybody seemed friendly and kind. They have made life a lot easier. Things are going very well now. I would recommend them.

I'm a former school teacher. My husband and I built a very large retirement home that turned out to be much too expensive and things just crept on me. Too much to take in all at once. Other than that your personnel was very friendly and helpful so far. I experience at with another debt solution company I further offer any wanting to help you but then at the end that you're it was too much trouble to get back with you and it makes you feel that you were bothering them so hopefully we can work better together with y'all.

Customer service rep was very quick to respond, and very understanding of delays throughout the process as we tried to complete a house refinance before enrolling in this program. Everything is explained very thoroughly, they really want to make sure you fully understand this process! We've been told it will take roughly 4-6 months from our start date for us to reach our first settlement, but within minutes of completing my welcome call, I already had an email that 2 of my creditors needed additional authorization to allow the service team at NDR to discuss my debts with them, so I'm confident that when these guys say they're on it, they are ON IT!

I was repeatedly told poor information, 1) That Citizens Bank often settled for 40%, 2) That though I had $ in my settlement acct that BAC couldn't be paid in a lump sum (yet they did). 3) They didn't tell me they were pulling my fee. 4) They told me they had to ask permission to take $ from my holding acct. 5) That I couldn't contact the holding bank, though letters from that holding facility sent me letters saying to call anytime and giving me contact info. 6) That I owed NDR $250 though the statement said $755. I wouldn't ever recommend this company. It's the old bait and switch. Super disappointed in their services and the outrageous things customer service reps told me over the phone. I asked for things in writing and they refused. If the calls truly are recorded, there are some gems in them.

I really was hesitant at first especially going through identity thief, who can you trust and are they wanting to really help you! But after talking to the team at this company they were amazing. Their representatives call me when they negotiate with one of my creditors to let me know exactly what they have settled for. They also ask me if I do agree with it, or if they have come up with some great deals. So far, I'm very happy with them. NDR has taken a big burden off me, money-wise and I'm glad I found them. I have talked to a couple of my other friends who have also gone to them now.

Getting set up with National Debt Relief was a good experience. I did all of it via email. I had to send them copies of all my statements and they got the plan set up for me within 48 hours. They set the amount of my debt and about how long I would pay it off with the payment that I can handle. Then payments are automatically drafted out of my account each month. But I've still not had a great experience because I thought they would reach out to all the creditors to settle with them and I've had a couple of them come back and I've had to pay them out of my pocket because they're taking me to court.

I'm very satisfied with National Debt Relief. Helping my daughter and her husband, or my grandson, if they get in trouble and need money got us in a hole. But then you feel bad if you don’t help them. So, I went on a website and looked up the best debt settlement companies, and NDR was one of the top. Their rep was really nice and he helped me a lot. So far, I’m done with credit cards completely. No credit cards, no payments, and I’m never getting one again. I’d refer my friends to NDR. It'd be better than going through bankruptcy. You may be making payments, but at least you’re out of debt after a while.

We spent too much money and National Debt Relief is getting settlements for our credit card debts at a lower amount. We’re paying off our debts, but we’re not paying too much. We've always had very pleasant interactions with the team at NDR and everybody there has been wonderful. Making payments was easy but I ceased my payments for now because I recently quit my job, had a breakdown, and ended up at the hospital for seven days to get back on my medication. My next payment to NDR is going to be in December.

I called some other company and they wouldn’t do everything. They were only picking and choosing. But when I put in some information at NDR's website I got a gentleman call me back and he was very good. Then I gave him more information. He called me back and he was able to take all the debt and he said he would be able to help me out. That’s why I went with National Debt Relief.

We were drowning in credit card debt but since we signed up with National Debt Relief, I've already seen changes on my credit report. We have a plan with them that we’re working to pay down our debts and I already see improvements. We’re very happy with their service and it's affordable. Their reps have been great, too. They’ve been very helpful, very non-judgmental, and very nice. They just called me a month ago and wanted to add a little bit more to help pay down one of my larger credit cards. I couldn't afford what they were proposing but we worked together and we found one that I could afford that would help me. So if you need help getting out of that credit card debt and you're getting over your head, I would recommend them because they’re really there to help. And they work with you and you can see results pretty quickly.

I couldn't keep up with all the bills and I needed to do something. I've been with National Debt Relief since about the beginning of the year and their team has already settled two credit accounts for me. They've been very professional and they sent me paperwork so I've done all the reading. I got another letter from one of my creditors that’s a little threatening and so I'd be calling them soon to let them know about it and get another update on some accounts. So far, I've been impressed and really happy with National Debt Relief.

I did a balance transfer and my bank locked me in at a rate that I was unable to pay and I was initially just paying the fees. There isn't a bad thing that can be said. Yes my credit report has slightly suffered from doing this program but my debt has drastically reduced. Every person I have had on the phone has been great. The specialist contacted me almost immediately and responded very quickly to all of my e-mails. However, there were many mistakes in the e-mails being sent to me. The specialist apologized and assured more accurate responses, but the inaccuracies continued. While it became frustrating, the quick responses made for an easy fix and smooth process. Making the decision to call National Debt Relief was not an easy decision to make. I have worked very hard to rebuild my credit after my divorce. To now be in the position of losing that good credit is very discouraging and disappointing. However with the recent loss of work, struggling to meet just the minimum payments on my credit card debt is making a difficult situation even more difficult -- do I make the payment or feed my family? It has been an overall good experience I've had so far with NDR and it's the best one I could have found online. Their program has been really good and it has helped me out a lot. Every time I called and talked to the reps, if there was ever a problem, they treated me like I mattered. The process to get started with NDR was easy. Since working with them, I felt like I had a possibility to get into a better spot and pay for things.

The people whom I’ve spoken with at National Debt Relief always answered my questions, very knowledgeable, and they’re working well with me on my debts. One is paid off, and one is almost paid off, and we’re working on another one. They've eliminated a good deal of stress.

My wife and I got in over our heads. We overextended ourselves and then paid the debt back as most teenage adults do. And then, we found out we were having a kid and we were too far gone. I needed relief help, so I looked into it and started the process with National Debt Relief in April. So, I have 39 months to pay them. Their team was very good and courteous and they were able to answer all my questions. However, I didn’t envision the impact that I was going to have with it. Because of this, my cards that I had for years got declinations and my name was marred. My credit was also serrated and I wasn’t like that prior to it. I was drowning, but I still kept the payments going. Hopefully, I could get a correspondence from the company saying they did what they did so they could help me get out of debt based on my ability to help them settle it. But overall, I had peace of mind.

National Debt Relief offered me a good deal so I talked to my husband and we decided to go with them. We started in August or September and the team has been good every time that they call and have some information for us. The cost of the program is okay but I wish they would do a bit more because they’ve only resolved two of the accounts. There’s only one creditor that keeps calling, trying to get some money from us. As soon as 8 o'clock comes around, we know that the phone’s going to ring and it’s going to be one of the creditors. But that’s the only one that we’ve been bugged by, and anything else stopped. National Debt Relief is doing what we expected them to do and we’re happy with the outcome. I would recommend them to somebody else.

I was a complete mess financially. I went through a divorce and I couldn’t pay everybody. And at the same time, I lost my job. So, it was a critical situation but I have been able to do side jobs and that allowed me to kind of get in the National Debt Relief program. They explained everything in great detail before I got set up. I got very good information from their rep. Once I got an email where I replied saying I want the program and I want to enroll, then I got a phone call and they walked me through the whole process. It took about 45 minutes and after that, I was off to the races. I completed some forms and then, the rest is history. They set me up with a $450 bi-weekly installment payment.

I've been with National Debt Relief's program for almost a year now. I got ill so I had no choice. I didn't have to deal with trying to explain to everybody. It wasn't my fault that I ended up coming down with MS and losing my job. I wasn't getting the full paycheck that I used to get. Until I fight with the state, I can get one-third of my paycheck. If I win, I get to pay four times a month. I'm getting paid one of those weeks so it’s a huge change and it wasn't temporary. The doctors kept saying it's going to be permanent.
