My experience with National Debt Relief has been very positive. My program manager Orion ** was extremely professional and thorough. He explained each aspect of the program in detail, yet made sure my wife and I understood those details clearly. Monica, our welcome contact representative was also very clear as to ensuring my understanding of the program and our responsibilities with it. I would highly recommend NDR to a friend or member of my family.

It's good and fast but it says I'm saving over 1000, and National is charging 400 out of a small debt, that's per debt and it could be a larger amount of charge. I'm really just saving 300 dollars not 1000. It's good just expensive when it comes to your credit dropping for 300 dollars of savings per this debt.

Today is the first day I've been in contact with NDR so to be honest at this time the grade is incomplete. They seem to know what they are doing and did explain everything to me well. This is not something I wanted to do as a debt consolidation loan was the first avenue I tried to take. Due to my credit falling because of my increasing debt I was unable to get a loan. The final grade will be determined when and if my creditors agree to the settlements that are offered. As I said, until then the grade is incomplete.

There was an urgency of getting my debt paid off so I just decided to go with National Debt Relief. They seemed to be organized and their reps were all fine. I have a big financial debt so I have a payment every month and they get it deducted. So, I’m hoping I can get my debt reduced very soon so I don't have this big payment. So far, NDR has already resolved two out of five accounts in a span of six months. I'm glad that the debts are being paid off and I'd like to check out to see when the next debt is going to be paid so that I can get out of this debt relief thing.

National Debt Relief sounded like they were the most reputable from all the stuff that I read. I signed up with them and their process was totally easy and painless. It took two phone calls and I haven’t even talked to them since then. I haven’t got any harassing phone calls from anybody and they’re paying my bills. It’s a wonderful life. I have them since spring and so far, they have closed a few accounts. The cost of the program is substantially different than if I was incurring late fees from everybody and it's a wash in my opinion. It’s worth its value because I don’t get all those dunning calls and my credit score is frozen. I think that less is more and they seem to do a really good job with the total minimum of hassle. That’s huge.

It was kind of rushed when I dealt with National Debt Relief at the beginning, and I wasn't sure what was going on. But the gentleman slowed down and he told me how much I could save and what card were mine and what were my husband’s that I wasn't responsible for any longer. Then they sent me the contracts, and everything works good. They said within four years I'd be free of my debt which is great. I just now have one monthly payment. And I don't have any credit cards, just my debit card. As long as I make a monthly payment to National Debt Relief then in turn, they pay the creditors. They get a bunch of it down the last.
The only one I had trouble with is Home Depot. They summoned me to court. But I never had to go because National Debt Relief had attorneys that handled that for me. I didn't save much on that one though because I lost against Home Depot and I paid 800 bucks. But a lot of the other ones that I had, I got down to only paying them half so it worked out well.
National Debt Relief calls every once in a while to see if I can add more money to the payment. But they don't have to worry about that. They know basically what I can afford and what I can't. I've given them all the information that I did and so far so good. I got about three more creditors that they're trying to work with and to get settled. I've already got two accounts settled and I'm working on now with Home Depot and Citibank was a huge one that I'm working with. National Debt Relief really helped me. They definitely put some stress off me, and I'd recommend them to anybody that needed help.

We've been working with National Debt Relief for 7 months now. As long as we put money in it and we get enough money to pay one of the credit cards. It's moving along pretty quick. Everything has been fine. They're very helpful, understanding and always there when we need them. Whenever we called them, they were always nice to us and answered our questions and basically fixed things if we had problems. We even had a problem with the two credit card companies that sent us letters. They said, “Just send them,” and we haven't gotten anything back from those anymore, so I guess that was fixed. It's been great. We were able to crop two to three credit cards. We also don’t get the hassles of them calling us for money. It's been really good to be able to get back on our feet. The more money we put in, the sooner it gets done.

National Debt Relief has been credible and I like that they gave me a realistic expectation of what they can do and they’ve met those expectations. They respond in a timely fashion. They really pay attention to whatever the need and concern are, and they address it either the same day or the following day. They tell you when they’re going to be getting back to you with the resolution on your issue.
They negotiated a couple of accounts and they’ve reduced the amount of my debt significantly. And they have negotiated a prepayment schedule on the biggest account. However, I lost my job four months into it and I told them I can’t give them $370 a month, but I would like to maintain paying the Capital One credit card. I asked them how much it would be if I just paid that one until the end of it so it doesn't go upside down. They told me it would be $168 a month, and they did that for two months in a row and all of a sudden a couple of days ago, there was an auto draft for $370. I called back and asked them why it went back to $370 and they said it was a mistake and told me to call back on the 6th once the auto draft is no longer pending. So it was a little discouraging, but I‘m going to call them back on the 6th to have them put it in for the amount that maintains the contractual agreement with Capital One and then hopefully I could return to $370 a month.

I'm 61 years old but I knew better than to get such a high interest on something so I looked into relief help. Working with the team at National Debt Relief was great. Every time I spoke to someone I didn't have a problem. They were there and always very friendly. They let me know when I paid it off. We had sold vehicle and I used that money to pay them off. But then it was on automatic withdrawal and they took a month out that's supposed to be taken. All I had to do was call and let them know and in two business days, I had that 257 back into my checking account, which I was very amazed and happy because most of the time companies want the money but they don't really want to give it back. This month I'm going to keep an eye on it just to make sure. But the biggest thing is that it didn't take long for them to give me the money back.
I have completed the program in one year. I'm waiting for this month to sling through because this is the first month that I'm not going to have that payment. So, I'm excited to put some money back for a change instead of having to pay bills. I was very satisfied with National Debt's program and everything that happened with it. They provided excellent service.

NDR advertised that they might be able to reduce my credit card debt down by one-third, so I thought that would be worth looking at. They were friendly and very helpful. They worked with me by email at first, then later they sent me the booklet that they put out. They also followed up with letters and phone calls. They did away with the entire debt from my Chase Bank credit card. Then I had two other credit cards that they reduced down. Now, I'm working with Liberty Lending making payments of $355 a month for the next couple of years or so. Working with NDR has relieved a lot of stress and my debt is manageable now. My experience with National Debt Relief was very satisfying and very helpful to my overall personal lifestyle. I would be willing to recommend them to anyone who has a sizeable credit card account.

I tried to do it on our own then realized, we could not. I’d never been in this position before. I’m 64 years old right now, never expected to be starting in the beginning again. But 2008 came around and here we are. I needed relief help and went with National Debt Relief because they had the best reviews. It's been over a year and I’m very pleased with the way they treat me. Any time I need any information, they take care of it for me. And then, I keep them updated. I’m very happy with them. Working with them comes at a fair price. To get our life back on track and get this behind it, how do you put a price on that? There is, but it was affordable enough for us to do it. I think it’s the better choice that bankruptcy would’ve been. I am very satisfied with my experience with National Debt Relief.

She was so caring and listened to my personal problems as if she was a wonderful friend and at same time explained the process thoroughly.
This company is very very "transparent" that in the end any questions or doubts were answered before I needed to ask. They also double check with another division that reviews and ensures that Misha had not failed to mention or explain one thing or another. My apologies (I forgot the young man's name) but he like Misha was extremely sensitive and knowledgeable. I am well educated and know a scam within seconds (phone or mail)! There was a lot of questions I had that I wish could be easily found on your website. Hearing the answers verbally over the phone makes one forget all that is said. And you have so much reading on your site, that it is hard to find the information we are looking for. Jonathan answered all my questions, but I feel left hanging a little bit because I cannot recall all his answers. And I felt foolish asking all the questions that were new to me, but probably repeated by Jonathan 10-15 times a day to different clients.
I wish your site was more user friendly, rather than having so many long paragraphs that you have on your site where you are left hunting for the answers you are looking for and are left hanging and confused after a couple hours of reading because of too much information and the technical language and definitions you use. This is a negative against your site vs. talking to someone live. Again, Jonathan answered all my questions verbally, but we covered a lot and I cannot remember it all.

National Debt Relief is helping us get out of our credit card debts. Working with them has taken away a lot of stress because we’ve already paid off one credit card and we’re in the works of paying off another. Most of the creditors stopped calling and when we get one of the calls once in a while, we tell them we’re dealing with National Debt Relief and so they contact them. Also, when my husband quit his job because he found a new one, we skipped a couple of payments in the transition so they worked with us and sent us a schedule. Everything has been working out really well and I would definitely recommend National Debt Relief to family or friends.

We are in 5th month and paid in approximately $5000 and only three item seem resolved, maybe, and payments pending while our credit scores dwindle down because of being behind. We didn't know we would show 4 or 5 months late on payments. We had no idea it would take so long to reach out to our creditors. We are making a very large payment each month. How much longer will it be before they start working on these. You are getting the Interest on the money so I don't know how long you are going to drag this out to get interest.

When I did Google searches for something to help me get out of debt and read different reviews, National Debt Relief had pretty good reviews so that’s why I chose them. I have been with them for a year and a half now. I'm still making payments on the last one, but three of them have been settled, all three of them have been. They were always friendly and helpful, but it was kind of stressful because they also have done some things I've asked them not to do.
When they settled the debt, the first time, they took out a massive chunk, but it cleaned up the savings that I had saved up from them too. They cleaned it out for their fees. I've asked them not to do it for the next two times, but the next two accounts, they did the same thing. They just cleaned up the whole savings and that’s the initial fees. The first time they did it, it actually made me short on my account, so then I had to actually make other deposits into the account to get it back up. I didn’t have that extra fund that I did deposit into there. Things like that kind of upset me, but in the long run, it gets me out of debt. But, otherwise, they are solving my debt problem, so it's making me happy.

National Debt Relief has been a refreshing experience. I don’t have a bunch of creditors calling me on the phone. I feel like they're doing the work for me. I don’t have to keep stressing about, “Oh, did I pay this bill this month?” They pay it automatically. There were 10 different accounts to settle because some of them were medical. There were credit cards debts and medical debts by use of a credit card. Three were successfully paid off. They work fast. And I can log on to their internet page and I can check. I also see it on my bank account as well.
They had a method of taking my own money, saving it and paying off one bill at a time as opposed to taking out a loan. They have a very nice team who explained everything to me. They called me to say I'm eligible for a loan to pay off all my debts. I declined because I really like the fact that I'm paying it with my own money and I don’t have to pay a loan back. My experience was helpful and stress-free and I would recommend them to anybody.

I had a number of credit-type accounts and it got to the point where I could only make the minimum payment. I wasn’t gaining any ground with it at all so my family member told me about National Debt Relief's program. They're also involved in it and that sounded like something that would help me out so I signed up. Their customer service has been very good. Anytime that there’s been a solution to one of the accounts, they’re always very quick to notify me of that both in the mail and in my website.
Occasionally, I would get a letter from one of the creditors indicating that they were going to turn me over to a collection agency and those kind of letters I had to send in to NDR's team right away. I don’t know exactly what kind of action they take with it but that’s the kind of thing that I’ve had with them. They’ve been very helpful and I’m glad that they’re handling the situation with the different creditors. We’ve settled three of 11 accounts already so there’s more on the way from the looks of things. Working with NDR has freed up some money not just for our day-to-day living but also for other things that I’m having to pay on that’s not on the program. Everything is going very well and I would suggest the program to anybody who needs help with their indebtedness.

My credit’s terrible and I just wanted to get it better because I know it’s been bad for a long time. And NDR was the first one that popped up under best debt relief or debt collectors. They used to call me at the beginning within the first couple of months and told me that they had reached the creditor and made a compromise and they will set it paying $1,000 I owed on a card and reduce it down to $500. And then they tell me that they would automatically start sending the money and pay that one off. One of them I know has been paid off. But the others -- there’s nothing going on. They have money to pay things off, but they haven't contacted me about it. So, I’m beginning to get a little worried.
I don’t understand what is taking them so long. They told me when I first signed up with them. I live on a very fixed income and I’m retired. I wanted to get this cleared up in case I want to buy another car in the future and I can’t buy a car and get decent payments unless I have good credit. They’re getting $350 a month from me and that’s money I really can’t afford to pay out. But I want to get good credit. I'm willing to do it if they can clear it up in 18 or 24 months if it’ll totally get me back in good standing.

I got one more account left to be paid and they told me that it was going to be taken care of and then all of a sudden I'm eating dinner, I look at my window and there's some guy who summons me some paperwork about it. I was like, “Okay.” All of a sudden now my payments are almost my whole paycheck to where I'm going to have no money.
Right now I'm trying to get my mom on this account to help me out like talking-wise because I've never had to go through something like this. As a single parent I never want this to happen. It seems like my account was started out to be $5,000 for what I owed and then it jumped up to almost six grand because it's taken them so long to get in contact with them to make payments. It's stressing me out. Then my next payment next month, December should be a total of $530 something and I make about $1,200 each paycheck and it varies because I'm a mover. They need to call back because the figures don’t quite add up to me.

They had to call me back a lot because of work issues but they were extremely patient with me. They were always very helpful and they got everything settled pretty well. So, I appreciated that a lot. Having them made things easier, too. I've been struggling with bills for at least seven years now so, it's a good relief to have them settled. I would advise NDR for anybody that's in debt.

Before I lost my job, I was already in a financial kind of pickle. I called National Debt Relief for information and it went well, but I wasn’t ready to mess up my credit yet and I thought I could keep it together. I called them again after I lost my job and for the most part, the guy who first talked to me was really helpful. He sent me over to the underwriter and the underwriter read me all the stuff.
By the time I joined the program, I was already really far behind in a lot of things and I wanted them to start negotiating right away. But they said they couldn't until they there's money. So I asked them to at least call the creditors because they were bugging me. I changed all the information over and sent in National Debt Relief as my contact. But I was still getting quite a lot of calls. Also, at that time, my income was not very great. I was working a contract and I was going back to court to try to get more child support. So the intake gentleman based my income off of what I planned to be making in a few weeks and he told me that they're a hardship program and they were out to help me. He also said that if I couldn't make one of the payments, I could call them and I wouldn't have to make that payment.
But the first time I had to do that, it wasn’t that easy at all. Their rep told me that she didn't know what I was talking about. He said that they could skip the payment if I double my payments the very next month but I told her that I couldn't do that. I also told her that I got back into fulltime employment and I was doing a lot better. But I still got caught up in a lot of things that they weren't covering like sewer bills, electric bills and phone service that I was still working on privately. That person also said that I had to pay the money back before the end of the year. I was not prepared for that kind of conversation at all because if I didn’t skip that payment, I was going to be short on my mortgage. I told her that I was told that this was an option and that I really needed to do it for that upcoming payment.
So a supervisor got on the phone and said that they could divvy up my payment into multiple payments. So it would be $50 each but I had to start paying it back immediately. He also said they couldn't fix things on the end-of-year program and that’s not how it worked. At least it was only $50 and I could scrape that up from the mortgage. I just couldn’t make the $450 that they were asking for at that time. The second time that I needed to skip the payment, that person let me put it for next January. They let me spread it out the time that I knew I would have my income returns and that I would have more things to pay with. They were a lot more reasonable and the conversation was a lot easier. So my interactions with them has been like a mixed bag, so far. Things have gone kind of smoothly since then.
I'm still within my first year with them and for now, they reached an agreement with Lowe’s and my Lowe’s consumer card was paid off. They also contacted me about Federal Credit Union and I realized that there's an arrangement for that to be paid off. So they did some settlements, but I haven't really heard from National Debt Relief for a while. I was also trying to decrease the amount of monthly payment that I had because I was still paying some of the creditors out of pocket. I told NDR to remove some creditors to make the payment easier but the underwriter said that they could remove them but it wouldn't change my monthly payment at all.
For instance, Discover called and they were harassing me. They said they didn't work with National Debt Relief and they pretty much bugged me until I decided to do their payment program. So I called NDR and had Discover removed from the list of creditors that they need to settle with. In fact, I removed some people from that list but it hasn't brought down any my monthly payment. Meanwhile, I have some other things that I wanted to add in like collections from a medical thing that I didn’t have at that time when I signed up. I'd love to have that added in but I couldn't afford to have these monthly payments go up more so I solved that on my own. Between my education loans, and my mortgage, electric and water bills, I am paying $800 plus a month on this program and it's not really that reasonable.
When I called NDR to try to cut my payment in half or remove some of the payments so that I could try to get caught up on some of these other things, it has not been very great. They told me that it's a set program, it's supposed to last so many months and they couldn't extend it. On occasion, I have thought about taking the money in the trust account, taking the settlements on my own and just get out. But I haven't done that yet. Overall, NDR is an option, but not the best.

I began to research a couple companies that were available to help us out with our situation and NDR seemed pretty reliable having approval of Better Business Bureau and others rated them really high. Everyone I dealt with at National Debt Relief has been very nice and very helpful. Having them helped with some stress. Their rep came up with a plan and they’ve been able to resolve five of my creditors at this point. The negative side of that is I've always had a very good credit rating and now I don't have a good credit rating. But that’s not their fault. I knew that this process would affect my credit rating until we're able to resolve everything. Everything else has been positive and I have recommended them.

National Debt Relief's team have always been helpful. I had a lot of debt so I signed up for their debt consolidation process. I had to tell them what I was indebted to then they kind of compiled everything and let me know about what we needed to do. Now my credit score is improving slowly but surely and I don’t have to worry about being overwhelmed with all the debt anymore. I would recommend them to somebody in my situation.

All the credit card companies aren’t calling me anymore. When my phone rings, I don’t have to worry about who it is. National Debt Relief is helping settle things so that we’re saving some money and getting out of debt at the same time. We’re over the halfway point and people at NDR are always friendly and willing to explain things or just give some advice.
Reviewed Nov. 19, 2017
I still do have a large amount of credit card debt and I was trying to get rid of it. With NDR really don’t have that much anymore. At the beginning, I talked to the guy and he explained everything, showed me how to get it all set up, explained what we do, how they do it, and what I had to do. They were very informative at first, and it sounded like a good plan, and which seems to be so far. And every time there’s a new plan where they made a deal with a creditor, they contact me and then I just approve it.
So far I haven't heard from any of the creditors at all, which is good and I think I have three of the cards paid off already. We're working on a fourth one right now. But I'm skeptic. I actually called the companies up to make sure they did get paid off and asked for documentation. However they don’t give like the final pay off that shows that. When I checked on my card from one company, they actually emailed me. The company that we’re paying off, every time we make a payment, they send me an email, so I know they’re getting paid. But the other three that are already paid off, I didn’t get that aside from the email.
The only downside with the NDR is the high percentage of the payment is part of the deal. They take a big chunk upfront. They’re taking their money pretty much before the things to be paid off. I know they calculate how much I'm paying twice a month. And then they figure out how much I have. I understand how it works now. If I had $10,000 and gave it to them, they’ll be able to pay off the debt. But I don’t have the funds in there that’s why they can’t make the deal with everybody. And that’s why it takes to four years because they got to wait for my money that I'm paying into it to get there.
Reviewed Nov. 19, 2017
I was put in a different financial situation where I wasn't able to pay my credit cards the way I used to. I would have been paying just whatever the amount they asked for as opposed to double-payments. I knew that wasn't going to get me anywhere. I reached out to National Debt Relief, and I had to go through a lot of questions in order to find out if I was eligible. I was, and so far, everything is good. I haven't had a problem with them. If I ask a question, they immediately give me an answer, which was only in the beginning part because I wasn't sure if I should commit to it. I was kind of iffy about the company so I looked it up on the BBB and then I decided to go with it.
I pay one amount to them every month and they go piling it up. I'd call them or they'd call me and let me know whatever credit card has been resolved. They always ask me if it's okay to go forward. I'll say yes, that gets done, and they move on to the next. They make the decision which credit card they're going to attack next. They finalize whatever deal they make. They call me and talk to me about the deal and the benefits of it, and where it would put me in the future. They seem to know what can be done and how to tackle each and every situation.
National Debt Relief has made it easy for me because I don't have to deal with all those phone calls. The only one I have to deal with is my bank because the bank keeps telling me that they don't do a third-party. Other than that, I'm at ease because I don't have all these mails coming in, I don't have those harassment calls, and I don't have to keep telling my story over and over to the people that I owe money to because it's taken care of by National Debt Relief. It's been a relief for me and I don't have the stress. Once you've been through the program, it's like a turnkey. Everything flows smoothly. You can go online also and create your own account. You could see your account and what's being done and how much is in there from everything that you're putting every month. It's a wonderful program for those that qualify.

I looked into relief help out of desperation. We’re older and just barely scraping by and I thought this got to be something. I want to pay these people but I just can’t. National Debt Relief has been great. They immediately made me feel better but in the months that followed I’m religiously paying but I don’t know where I am with it. I’m not getting as much feedback as I would like to get. I know they all probably have a bazillion customers but I don’t hear anything by month. I live way out in the country and so my Wifi isn't good sometimes.
They’ll ask me, “Have you been on your portal?”Most people probably can but I can't and if you can’t get in the portal that’s not a good thing. So I would like to be able to talk to someone more regularly - maybe once a month someone will call me and say, “Okay. We’ve settled this debt. Now we’re going to go on this one.” It’s kind of hit and miss. I don’t know where they’re at with my debt whatsoever and it’s coming up on a year so that’s my only criticism. I’m paying my 1300 every month but I don’t know exactly what is settled and what isn’t then I’m not really abreast of what’s going on.
There's wasn't a lot of initiative to go after my creditors that keep calling and then I say, “Call National Debt Relief” and they say, “We don’t call them, they call us” and then National Debt Relief says, “They call us.” But they call me. I went with them to keep the monkey off my back to begin with so there seems to be a burden down there.
Reviewed Nov. 18, 2017
The National Debt Relief reps asked me several questions about roughly how much debt that I thought I was in. So, I gave them a ballpark figure and they asked permission to do a soft pull on my credit report to see what was there. Then they explained how the process worked, where they talk directly with the creditors to try to work out a settlement on those accounts. After that, they told me which ones they would work on to try to get paid for first and go from there, and I've actually gotten five or six of them already paid for. I have seven months left with them because I was almost $30,000 in credit card debt.
They were fair about their service. They asked me what I thought I could afford at the time once I tried to get it set up. They were trying to get a little bit more money, but I explained that it would straighten me too much. They said, "We can look and take this amount out every two weeks," 'cause that's how I have it set-up before it comes out of my checking account. They deal with the creditors and I don't have to deal with any of it. The gentleman that I initially talked to to get everything set up was Jonathan, and he was very helpful. All the questions that I asked him, he was able to provide me an answer right away. They contact me when they have come to an agreement with whatever creditor it is, and they send me an email to prove the settlement offer. And then they handle the rest of it from there. They also send a notice to me once a month to let me know what's going on as an update.
Now I can pay my everyday liability. I had bought a car based on my pretenses of my bonus structure at work and the bonus structure didn't work out, so I started to get behind on credit cards because I had to have transportation to get to and from work. The car came first and the credit card went on the back burner. Working with National Debt Relief has relieved a lot of mental and emotional stress, and I'll be glad when it's all over and done with. The only thing they could work on a little bit better is when an account is actually paid off, I could get a notification from National Debt Relief that the account is actually fully done with.
