    I had been thinking about doing consolidation for a while so I reached out to National Debt Relief. The cost was fair and my dad said it was the right move for me at that time. I worked with a guy named Nate and he was super helpful. He acted like it wasn't a big deal, like this happens all the time and made me feel comfortable.     I had high debt that I wanted to settle and I don't want to go bankrupt. I researched and found that National Debt Relief had better ratings than others. Also, they are the biggest and the best with the most success rate. I reached out to one company and there were pros at their enrollment. They needed a lot more information at first and I wasn't able to provide on the spot. I then reached out to National Debt Relief. They made it more streamlined, easier to enroll and they gave me some options on the payment plan. Their reps are very good, professional and they know what they're doing.     National Debt Relief explained the consolidation process, how the settlement would work, how long the payoff would take and how much we have to pay every month. They gave us all the information then we enrolled and started paying the credit companies. Enrolment was easy but it took a little while. I gave a lot of information to help us understand how it was all going to work. I’m now almost done and working with them has impacted my life in a good way. I have extra money and credit card companies have been paid off. Everything could be less expensive but the cost was okay. Give NDR a shot if you’re completely buried in credit cards. It’s hard to get out of them once you’re buried in them.

    The first call was good. The welcome call was somewhat confusing. The lady was talking too fast and didn’t really allow me time to process the information she was giving to me. So I am positive that I missed a lot of information. Then she kept asking me if I need assistance logging into the portal before I even knew what she was talking about. I didn’t know where the portal was to even know if I needed assistance. Then I received 4-5 emails that were not explained to me. If they were she was talking too fast for me to get what I was being told. There should have been more to confirm my receipts of the emails and then have the information explained to me. The first guy did a really good job with this.

    National Debt Relief told me that Discover’s the hardest person to deal with so I thought they would have dealt with that first. But they waited until I got a summons from a sheriff. When I sent the summons to them, on top of the fees, I had to pay lawyer fees. But if they had done that first, I wouldn’t have had to pay lawyer fees. So now I’m actually paying more that what I owed. I'm also looking at my statements and it seems like I’m not saving any money and all the extra money that I’m supposedly saving is going towards their fees. I have a letter here for Chase saying I owe them $785.37 and that they’ll settle it for $196.71. If I fax or scan this and send it to National Debt Relief but they won't do anything with it because I have nothing left in my account since they’re taking their fees before they would settle this.

    Now, they’re dealing with Discover. They’re paying $375 and it could take 15 months. Then they’re taking their bill into their fees and that’s taking my whole monthly payment. So for 16 months, they’re not taking anything for anybody else and it’s getting me very irritated. Also, their program is a four-year thing. But when I went online and checked all these different places and blogs, one person who does these things says never go for a four-year. So far, National Debt Relief has settled five accounts for me, but now they’re stuck.

    I was going to file for bankruptcy then I saw really good reviews about National Debt Relief online. It seemed that they helped a lot of people and they locked it to anything in particular. I used a different debt company when I was younger and I totally got screwed by them that I couldn’t pay all my bills. On the other hand, National Debt Relief was super helpful and gave me a bit more of breathability and financially. They even got me to a good point where I could start rebuilding everything. The enrollment was seamless that I just had a couple of phone conversations with them. I explained to them my financial situations while they explained to me how they could help me. I sent them all my paperwork.

    Their program cut down the amount of money that I’ve owed drastically and some debts were more than half so it was just a very positive experience. My negotiator has been amazing. They sent me an email saying they lowered one of my debts and then somebody called me but it’s never the same person. The cost is very fairly-priced based on what NDR is doing. A lot of people call debt consolidation companies and just jump into it but they should really ask as many questions as they can. NDR is there to help them and everybody is super nice. NDR just want to help so the people need not be afraid to ask them anything.

    I've been in debt for 10 years and it's hard for me to pay off my debt. I started with another company, and then I thought I'd look at the market and see who else is out there. I saw National Debt Relief and I called them up. They were more expensive than what I was trying to initially set up with but I thought that they were more legit. However, they have 25 percent of the initial amount of whatever each lender that you gave them to negotiate with and pay off. So, instead of me paying 100 percent of what my debt is, I'm paying 75. So, it's not like what they advertise that they're going to give a settlement of 50 percent. But they don't say that. What they do is they'll negotiate your settlement. And then, they tell me, "Okay, it's going to be this much." And you basically say okay, yes or no, and then you start making payment through them or your account. And they pay the creditors based on what you make as your monthly payment over an amount of time.

    At times I haven't been able to make that amount, so I just tell them in advance and then they adjust whatever I can pay at that time. It would have been better if they have less fees. They have a monthly account fee and 25% negotiation fee. There might be some other fee, but it's not a lot. Nevertheless, it's less stressful knowing that I'm not going to be making individual payment to each creditor. Most of the creditors just send the account to collection and it's a stable amount. And once it's a collection, it doesn’t really accrue interest. So, at least I know it's a stable amount, and then they're just going to be dealing with them individually on their own, not me having to deal with each one. Overall, I'm satisfied.

    I read the reviews on National Debt Relief and people had a good experience with them. I did too. They contacted my creditors and I got the lowest pay out that I could pay in. Then they contacted me if I agree with a settlement. They also worked out a good payment plan and so far, they have settled four out of eight creditors. Their service is costly but it's a two and a half year program and I got to pay the price. It's a good program and I'm working through it. I just saved $460 a month.

    My mother and I were living together but then she died and I was in rehab for my amputation. I said a little prayer when I figured out and realized I couldn’t pay all of my loans off. I got online and the first thing I saw was National Debt Relief so I figured it was God’s way of putting me towards them. With them, I’m paying in a little bit. The payment's good which allows me to buy groceries. And then, they’re trying to lower my amount and get it paid off for me. I’ve already got one closed and another one will close next month.

    They’ve all been very good and polite. If I had a question, they'd answer it. If I had a concern, they helped me with it. And so far, working with them has made things a little bit less stressful. I still have a few other bills that were too low for them to take up, but I’m managing them.     National Debt Relief did a good job in helping me manage my bills and relieving my debt. They're persistent and they call you a lot. They want you to pay off your stuff, which is a good thing. I wish they would have worked with me more on the payment. I was paying close to $400 a month and it was kind of high for me and I tried talking to them about lowering my payments, but then they told me that they couldn't. I also had to call them a while back because the account that they were taking money out of was no good. And they would tell me that I have to call back. I would call back and then again, they'd tell me to call back on a different day. But other than that, I had a good experience.

    We did not qualify for a debt consolidation and read some reviews about National Debt Relief so we went with them because of the amount of debt we had and the decrease in our income. I didn't go through the whole program, unfortunately. I thought they would take care of all of our creditors. But a couple of our creditors decided that they did not want to work with National Debt Relief. And then, they filed a judgment against us. The bummer thing was that they're not attorneys, so when I got sued, there's nothing really a lot they can do about it. So, we really didn't have a whole lot of choice but to do something else. We did not finish the program through them but I wish it would have worked out. They worked hard but we paid them a lot of money that could have gone to all the judgments and bankruptcy.

    I'd looked at all the reviews at the Better Business Bureau and National Debt Relief seemed to be the most efficient. Plus, they've been around for a while and they seemed reputable. There wasn't a lot of hoops to jump through with them. I told them what our needs were and they were able to accommodate quickly. I thought it was going to be more of a painful process than it really was. They're in it to make money as well and I get that or they wouldn't be in business. That had me a little bit reluctant and I always have a hard time with salespeople. But their rep was really good and he was able to answer all my questions. I wasn't quite at ease, but that's because nobody really wants to have to use a debt relief place anyway. It's a last resort thing for us.

    We're very in-tune with our credit and, unfortunately, some of this has made it drop but that's not a reflection on National Debt Relief. That's just the process. At the end of the day, everything is going to be paid off and our credit should start going back up. I checked our credit score a couple of weeks ago and it actually had gone up. That's always a good thing. It made things a lot easier in the sense of, a lot of the stuff we probably could have done on our own, but it would have been an extremely painful process and a lot more frustrating to go through. To consolidate it all into a monthly payment would have been a nightmare. If somebody was in our situation and needed somebody, I would recommend National to consolidate their debts.

    I saw National Debt Relief on TV and called them two or three days after. I’ve seen and heard about other companies but for some reason, my gut was telling me that National Debt Relief is the one I need to use so that’s the one I went with. NDR helped me with debt consolidation. I just started this February and they said it’s going to take 20 something months but we’ve been doing good so far. In fact, I’ve already closed out three or four accounts. I’ve been so pleased with NDR from the time I’ve made that phone call up until this present moment. What they told me fits right into my budget because when I was doing that on my own, the amount was coming up to more than that. I’m very happy that I went with NDR, and so far, I’ve been pleased with the outcome. They keep me abreast of everything they do and the folks that I’ve been speaking to so far were really good. I feel so much relieved and I’m not stressing anymore.

    I wanted to get rid of all my bills completely and pay all of them in just one spot. National Debt Relief has been helping me out and it's been good. I just talked to them during the enrollment and that process didn't take long. My rep's cool too. She's outgoing, more talkative and ready to work with somebody. They send me a statement every month and I check it out. They take out the payment twice a month which is helping out. They split it out from my surplus checks that I get for twice a week. The settlement is good too. They keep me posted and I keep them posted. When there's a settlement, they text me or send me an email then they call me. Everything has been pretty good for me and I'd recommend National. So far, working with them has released all the stress that I've had, paying my debts one by one each time. Before, each month was stressful. But with National, they get some money and they send it towards whatever bill is getting paid for.

    My company was sold at the end of September and then, I got another job. But, I ended up with a job where I'm making half of what I was originally making. So, I wasn't making my payments. I was barely keeping the house and I was also responsible for my son and his daughter because he had a stroke. Now, I'm not working at all and I'm having trouble collecting an employment. And so, I called National Debt Relief because I couldn't keep up.

    So far, things aren't going like I expected them. I didn't know until just recently that they didn't take care of things and contact people that were under $500. I got a letter from Chase and I faxed it to National Debt a few weeks back. Now, I got another one. And I thought that they have this taken care of this by some sort of agreement. Unfortunately, I haven't understood the service. I thought that everybody would be contacted and I wouldn't be getting any more letters, and it's not. I thought they would have letters out to everybody within the first six weeks. And so, at least these companies would have known what's going on.

    I've called them because I do not understand the process. It sounded fairly simple when I first called them. And I'm beginning to wonder now if I should have called a different organization. Somebody said that there are non-profit ones. And maybe, other companies would have responded better to a non-profit organization. If anybody asks me about National Debt Relief, I would recommend that they check into more than one or two organizations to make sure that they're picking the right ones for their particular circumstances. Overall, I just want to get everything paid. Every couple of weeks, National takes money out of my account. And so far, I'm not really very happy with them.

    National Debt Relief had the best reviews. The enrollment process was easy. I asked questions and they answered them and made it painless. Their reps are easy to talk to and knowledgeable about what they're talking about. They call me up every now and again whenever they came back from a creditor with an offer. They do their part and we've successfully completed three out of seven accounts. The program has helped me get rid of about 50% of my debt, and we're on a downhill stretch now. It has given me some room to live and not be completely broke all the time because before, I hardly had money to eat on. Setting up the payment plan has been good. I've had some issues came up and they’ve worked with me through those. They’ve been helpful through the whole deal.

    Updated 11/29/2018: Since I enrolled with them, I was able to minimize my calls from the creditors. Every time I called them for anything, they were super nice and helpful, and I was able to get an answer that day. They would answer without making me feel silly or stupid. Everything was really simple and straightforward. They gave me the minimum payment and I ended up paying more. They did take into consideration when I got paid but the payment comes out the same day I get paid, so when I look at my bank account, it already came out. Nonetheless, I don't have to worry about it just being another bill to pay and it feels like I'm not losing any money. In working with National Debt Relief, I feel like I'm working towards something instead of feeling like I'm just treading water with the credit card bills. So, it decreases the stress a bit. I feel a bit more productive and can't wait to get my debt behind me.

    I was behind on a whole mess of credit cards. I researched National Debt Relief and confirmed that they are a legitimate company instead of all those fly-by-night operations. I called them and gave them my situation. They went through each account and they came back and gave me a monthly payment amount that would start bringing those balances down. My rep was straightforward and was pretty good. I signed up for their settlement program and my balances have slowly crept down.     I have looked around in a couple of places for debt relief and saw the infomercial for National Debt Relief. I have talked to a person I work with and he said that he had good luck with them. I went on the Better Business Bureau website and National has a good rating there, so I gave them a shot. Enrolment took a while because they had to create a profile for me. They asked me about all my debts and why I’m struggling to pay my bills. The initial phone call took about an hour but it wasn't difficult. It just took a while.

    Their negotiator was great. When you're giving your information to a stranger it feels weird but she makes me feel very comfortable. She was just here to help me and that made it a lot easier. This company paid up all my debts for me. They were able to set me up for the plan because I didn't want to file for bankruptcy. That was the last thing I wanted to do. They gave me an option of doing it their way. It took about six months for it to actually start kicking in. But once it kicked in they were able to pay off my debts. Now I'm just paying them off and then I'll be good to go. And if somebody want to ask me about National Debt Relief I would tell him how great it was.

    My son was already dealing with National Debt Relief so he had all the information and he passed it to me. Their enrollment process was very fast and very easy that we did everything in less than 20 minutes. Their rep helped me a lot and they already had it beyond making arrangements with few different companies. It has been very comfortable working with that rep. She was a great person. She provided great customer service and she was very professional. They’re always available to answer my questions.

    I had a good experience with National Debt Relief but the only thing that they should improve is when they're going to work with another company there should be another person on the side to let their customers know. One difficulty is that I have within years paid $180 directly and they added another company on the side. And that company has charged me also $38 dollars every month. And I was thinking, “For who is this paid for? Which company is this?" And when I called them directly they don't give me any type of information. They just say, "You need to call them." I don't understand how they got my information. They said, “Well, we work together and we're going to be charging you $38 every month."

    I don't know what to do because we are talking about $400 a month because bi-weekly they take it out $200 from my paycheck. I think it's a lot for me. The reason that I think everybody is looking to get some help with the credit card payment is that the person can’t afford to make a payment. Otherwise you don't look for any type of assistance. They're not doing their job. A little communication is missing here.

    National Debt Relief is consolidating our debt and then paying it off. I did a google search initially and looked at a couple of companies and National Debt was rated higher and people seem to like them better. When we were trying to get signed up, they gave us little time to fill things in but they made it easy. They sent us some forms which we filled out and took a picture on our phone and emailed back. And then we talked to an enrollment specialist on the phone. He reviewed the form, approved us and then we talked to a welcome specialist when we were enrolled.

    We’ve been with them since January and we’ve settled with two of our credit cards. On one of them, we’re in the middle of some legal issues with them. American Express sued me so I let them know. And they filed all the court documents for me and they’re going to appear in court for me. So, it looks like it’s going to go well. I had issues with them filing the brief because I had kind of a strange situation. My husband and I are separated and I live in a different state. And so, they can’t serve me my court papers. They didn’t want to file the brief but then, once I got firm with them, then they filed it. But they’ve always been pretty professional and good to work with.

    Our payments have gone down to a more manageable payment since working with National Debt. We couldn’t pay our payments before, and now, our payment is still really high but we can pay it. And we have an ending date to when we’re going to be done with National Debt Relief. And so, that’s been really relieving. If a person is way in over his head with debt, National Debt is a really good option and alternative to bankruptcy. It’s still a lot of money and it’s still not easy, but they make it manageable and they take the overwhelming and crushing feeling of the debt away and make it feel doable.

    I was told it would take up to 120 days to settle my accounts. But what they failed to tell me is they don't start to settle until the money is in the account. So therefore, my credit will be screwed up for over 4 years. No happy about this experience. I will never do it again and wish I never did it. No results with this company yet.

    Almost a year into the program and my debt has been cut by 33%. At first I was very skeptical and cautious. It all seemed to easy and fast. I pictured a scam like in the movies. But National Debt Relief took all my info in a very friendly phone call, ran the numbers and told me I qualified. Apparently not everyone qualifies, so I feel very fortunate. I check my account online to see my activity. It shows my progress and a timeline. It's very nice to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. I receive calls from the company when an agreement has been met. Just recently a $9,000 debt settled for 30%. You do the math. But, you have to COMMIT to the payment plan. My credit is "in the **" if you will, for five years. But I know it would have taken me twenty without this program. It only takes fifteen minutes of your time to make a call that could save you years of hair pulling and stress. Commit.
