My experience with National Debt Relief has been great so far. I first saw them online and their reviews got me decided on them over others. I enrolled in the consolidation program through a quick phone call. They told me what needs to happen, asked if I’m okay with it and then we went with it. It was easy. I’m five months into the program. Working with them takes the stress off. The fees are a little high, though. But I’d tell friends to go for it.

I got too far overhead and I wanted to get rid of all the credit cards and so I just basically started looking around and came across National Debt Relief. I decided to have them because of the time it would take for me to actually be done with the credit cards and the monthly amount that I’d pay. There are programs where I’d be five years down the road before I have it all paid off and the payment double what I'm paying right now.
Enrollment was also relatively a simple process. They ran my information and asked me questions why I want to do what I’m doing and then we moved on from there. It took a little bit to get the program kick-started. There’s a certain amount that they’d like to have in a special account before anything really starts kick-started and I can understand that but in a way nobody’s really gonna bail on a program like that. I thought the program was going to start right away and within the first few weeks they would respond back.
But they have their own way of doing the payments and I was happy with it. I'm approaching my 8th month with them and it's been real good. I'm also comfortable with their staff. I was kinda leery at first but once the program actually kicked in I had seven credit cards and I'm down like four of them now. Three of them are paid off. But they could lower some of the fees that they charge. I know they know different tactics that more general people don’t know so you get what you pay for, I guess. If you want something done, sometimes you gotta pay for it.
I am able to save money and get caught up on my bills because I actually had to go in May and have surgery on my shoulders so that helped a lot. And now I go back on Monday for another surgery on the same shoulder. I would tell a friend who would ask about National Debt Relief to give them a call and see what type of program would work best for them. My neighbor was going through a divorce and fell on hard times. He got stuck with all the debt and he couldn’t pay it and I actually referred him to them and he’s doing good in the program also.

I heard from other people that National Debt Relief was one of the best ones to hook up with. I did enrollment over the phone, and the people that I spoke with were very helpful. They did the best they could, and it worked out very well. I’m very satisfied with them. I’m probably about three-quarters of the way through the process and it was easy overall.

I was in a lot of debt, and we couldn't pay off the credit cards. National Debt Relief gave me amendable payment on each month and I'll be able to get a lot of that debt gone for four years. I get emails updating me on the credit card debts they came to agreements. I also go on my portal and check out what's going on and they seem to be doing a good job. They were able to talk the credit cards down from what I owed to settlement. What I'm paying them every month is less than what I was paying my creditors without them.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong for me this year but the process with National Debt Relief was one that was really easy. It was one of the simpler tasks that I've done this year. Enrolment was extremely easy because there was a guy there who was extremely professional. He took care of everything. I just sent him my bills and he took care of the rest. They really took the time to listen to what it was that was going on with me. They kept in really good contact and that was very important to me at that time. I would absolutely recommend them. They have helped me a great deal. I'm planning on calling them on Monday, but I'm hoping that they would be able to work with the IRS as well because if they can work with the IRS I'm going to stick with the program.

I thought National Debt Relief was going to help me with my debt's interest which was piling up. When they reached a settlement, they called me and then I had to come up with the amount of money that the person that I borrowed from want, which will either be in one or three installments. I've already paid three of my creditors but now I'm at a point that I might drop National Debt Relief because what I have left isn't much that I can’t handle on my own. NDR, however, waits so long before they start to negotiate with debt collectors. That makes the person's credit go bad. Instead of trying to tell the creditors that people are with them, they wait until it's few months due and then negotiate, which sucks for us people who like to keep our credit clean. Also, it seems that they don't help much with the interest. I'm still paying interest on things. All in all, my experience with them is fine.

The first person that I spoke to was a little bit more sales pitchy than I expected. And the first month was the roughest but once National Debt Relief started contacting people, the call from creditors didn’t happen anymore. It was slow in the beginning because they won't start negotiating with people until you have enough money in your account. But so far, they’ve cut down about a half of what I needed to pay. They tailored the program to the person. How much you're able to spend monthly dictates on how quickly you can get out of the program. Mine for instance is three years, and I've been able to put more money down because once I stopped paying the creditors directly and gave all of the money to National Debt, I'll probably finish within the first year on how much they were able to drop it.
They've been able to accommodate anthing that I've asked except for the one time that I asked if I could choose the creditor that I want to be paid off next, but they didn't want to go for that. But I understood them because if they wait for an account that has thousand of dollars in it, a few months could mean the difference of being sued.
I was going through a divorce which put me in this situation and I have a really bad lawyer. But National Debt Relief definitely helped me out. I haven't met with the negotiators but I normally talked to the customer service representatives to leverage the notes on the account. Everybody touches the account and leave notes in stating where they are in the process, and you can contact them any time from Monday through Friday to see what's gone off the account. I make a fair amount of money and their payment plan put me right at a good spot. It's a simple program and it works.

After seeing the commercial for National Debt Relief, I got online, did a little bit of research, and then I gave them a call. Everything has been awesome and everybody has been great. One time, I had to call and give them the okay. The rep talked to me about the options that I had and different stuff. It wasn’t the best time to go with that one because we had just started doing the process a few months ago and we didn’t have much in the account. Still, they walk me through everything, tell what's what, and don’t give the runaround.
Our debt was $30,000 and they got it to $15,000. So far, the one that they have settled with actually took less than half of what was owed so that's a plus too. I'm glad we did it and that they could help us because after we did it, my husband was out of work. And I didn't have to worry that I got to pay people and about the late fees. It was amazing. And, I don’t care about the cost of service as long as it's working. The cost is still way less than what we would be paying before. Also, I've told a few people about National Debt Relief. I told them that they're the best thing we ever did and everybody there works with me. They inform me and even though my credit has gone down a little, it's got to be done and it's totally worth it in the end.

National Debt Relief contacted me when I was drowning in debt. My payments were piling up from paying all the bills and so I decided to let them help me. I got very good service from NDR because now, my credit is getting up again. However, everything could have happened faster. Whatever they're doing now, they could have done it earlier, which is trying to help me save by taking that loan. But the whole experience wasn't hard at all. They really helped me and have been pleasant. But there are the things that I wanted to talk to them about like how much does the service cost me because I was paying over $1,000 a month in credit card debt. They told me to go on the website but I wanted to speak to someone regarding the conclusion discussing what happened and how it happened. But overall, it was a good idea to join National Debt Relief.

I was having some issues with some credit cards’ interest rates and I ended up reaching out to National Debt Relief to see what they could help me with. I decided on them over other companies given their communication - they are easy to talk to and they communicate clearly on a lot of possibilities. I was aware of everything they could offer and what the plan was. Then I made a couple of phone calls and I provided them with some information. They returned a couple of electronic communication back and forth and I was able to electronically sign some documents. It was an easy enrollment. And then, they keep in touch. They email and call me as they have updates regarding my account with them. So far, they’re able to deliver what they had promised.
My payment plan was a leverage between my total debt and income and ability to meet where I don’t meet them. And the program works well for me. I am about 70% done with it. I was able to pay off the credit cards that were falling behind and not get eaten by the increased rates anymore. I was able to set my financials back on track. Working with NDR has impacted me positively and I have recommended them to people who are on the same path as I was.

I went with National Debt Relief because after talking to 4 or 5 companies, they were the ones who said they'd work with my creditors to pay them each month once I made a full month's payment into the program. THIS IS A LIE! They tell you to stop paying your creditors and let you get MONTHS of late fees until you have 25% to 40% of the amount due and THEN they try to make your creditors settle for a lower amount. This is completely the opposite of what I was told and I even asked the rep outright if this is how they do it and I was told NO, it's not.
This caused my account to be overdrawn because they not only took out the funds on THURSDAY, but on the 30th and I get paid on the 1st of the month. I called and a rep said they were very sorry, would refund the funds immediately and also cover the overdraft fees I was charged as it was their fault.
5 days later and I STILL didn't have the funds back, so I called back again just to be told they don't refund without written request from me. SO I was supposed to email a request, something I didn't know and so I still don't have the funds back and THEN the new rep said it was MY OWN FAULT that the funds were taken out early and that I should've KNOWN that they'd come out on Thursday when it was coming out on Fridays and I hadn't authorized the bi-monthly payments.
So, after being told last time they'd refund the overdraft fees, this one told me I was ** out of luck. The rep asked me if I wanted to continue with National Debt Relief because refunding the money was going to then change how much I had to pay monthly into the program and honestly, NO, I don't want to, but NOW I don't have much of a choice because now the credit bills I stopped paying -- AT THE BEHEST OF THIS COMPANY -- have been 2 months past due and NOW they're too much for me to catch up. They've ruined my credit, they've ruined my bank account, they've been a terrible, terrible company that I have no choice but to continue with because of the bind they've put me in. If I can, I will be OUT of this program as soon as possible.

When I called National Debt Relief I was overwhelmed with student and other debt accrued during my early twenties. It felt like my debt was consuming me and keeping me from my goals. Upon calling, I was assured that I had options and could work with them to resolve my debt as quickly as possible. After a year in the program 85% of my debt has been settled and I was approved for a loan to pay off the remaining debt and allow my credit to rebuild. I am so thankful for the opportunity to resolve my debt and rebuild my credit!

This is a good company for resolving debt. The reason for the 3 stars is for two reasons. First, I really don't like to give a rating until I have used a company for more than a year. Second, twice they have requested more money. The first time it was an amount that I could afford. This last time they requested over $300.00. They wanted more right before Christmas. They were good enough to back that amount to the end of the payoff. I am very happy that I am going into my 3rd creditor. They are really great with that. Maybe when everything is done maybe then I can give more stars.

We had credit card debt that was more than we can pay due to illnesses and different things. I did a search and National Debt Relief seems to be the most capable and they live up to that reputation. The reps were friendly and very efficient and the process of setting set up the loan was rather gentle. NDR has different divisions so you have to learn to work with different people, and then they send you a packet that gives all the information and people to contact so that makes it a little easy. I misunderstood their program not because they misrepresented, but because of a previous experience.
I was a little disappointed in the process because it throws you down to a low credit even if you have really good credit, and we’ve had to live with that. From the other process before, I didn’t have to live with that and they were paying my debt off much faster and have saved us a lot of money with the negotiation. The NDR team doesn’t mind answering any questions and I was even a little upset that they didn’t get upset with me. They just said, “Settle down, I’ll tell you what we negotiated.” NDR saves you so much money in the high-interest rate that it’s well worth the wait. I have low-interest rate cards, to begin with, but for them to charge me interest is kind of a book deal.
What they do is they charge you a monthly fee from which they take back something, and instead of siding their savings account, they use that to pay for future negotiations. Once they have zeroed out all of the loans, the budget belongs to NDR. That’s how they work, and it’s reasonable because it’s a percentage of the gross debt that they’re handling for you. And NDR has different companies. One company does the negotiation, such as loans, and the other company becomes your intermediate until the loan has been qualified. Then there’s a collection agency that does the process. Not one little branch of their company is handling the whole thing, so they really excel in their expertise.
I was used to paying the monthly fee before but we never finished the process the last time because we sold some assets and paid the debt off. But I don’t want to do that this time because it’s hard to acquire those assets back. NDR managed to do that without depreciating any assets and they didn’t require a large down payment. It’s at the end of the loan, and when you stop and research it and analyze it for yourself, you realize that they’re being very fair and reasonable. They’re doing all the contacts and the negotiating, and they even have it planned now. You owe a small amount of money and they can negotiate that rather soon. For a large amount, they wait for those people to go into absolutely critical, wanting this debt paid before they negotiate so that they’re ready to settle for a lesser amount of money. NDR is very intelligent in how they handle things like that, and I like them.
In addition, you’re getting letters about this collection. They say, “Well, just call us. We’ll make a note of it and that will go on our negotiation package.” And they’ll do it all and handle it for you so you won’t have to answer calls or you don’t get involved. I mark NDR pretty high as they’re very professional and they just execute what they’re supposed to do and that’s about it. They’re very dry but they’re out to do the job. They don’t like any distractions because they’re handling large debts sometimes. Ours is about $20,000, and I’m expecting they’ll call the cards because they were low, but NDR took all of them. They saved us $10,000 on the big card and that’s awesome. They have set up a system that works for them and I was blown away. Then they saved me $3,000 on another card and I hardly paid them anything.
It’s hard to pay that monthly but they draft it out of your account and keep piling your money and rotating it, and they are very good at it. We’re elderly so I’m sure they’re trying to do the best they can for us. It is kind of disturbing as you go through the process because you’re really kind of stuck a little bit. When you stop to think about it, you’d think it’s really a short term. They said it would all be paid off in three years and they’re doing it in less than that.
Also, NDR can write you a letter on how much the program is going to cost and how much you’re saving. They always inform you of the specific negotiable contracts for that particular negotiable item, and they never go out of it as they do this neat little thing every month. For me, National Debt Relief has done a good job and I’ll recommend them. Anybody that’s willing to kind of suffer the consequences which you would probably have to suffer anyway, and put your head on right, I think they would really appreciate how National Debt Relief is doing it.

I looked into the company and saw the reviews, and it seemed like the best choice. The rep explained to me that they would be talking to the credit card companies to work on a lower amount that we could agree on that I could pay off, and then there’ll be National Debt Relief's percentage that I'd be able to get. They sent me the form to fill out and send back so that we could get started on the process, and he gave me a number I would be paying every month. He still answers my emails when I have questions. We had a lot of debt on our plate and we were needing to consolidate it all and get rid of it. National Debt Relief was the one we've heard the most about so we decided to check them out. Then, when we called and talked to them, it seemed like the logical thing to do. The enrollment process was super easy but it was a lot of questions. It seemed like they had everything at their fingertips. They asked the questions and we gave the okay, signed the documents and sent it back. It’s been a non-stress kind of situation. They just took care of it. When they’re ready to settle, they call us and we give them the okay, and then they settle. And then, we don’t have to worry about it until they’re ready to settle again.
My interactions with their rep have been positive. Anytime I’ve had any questions or concerns, I’ve called and they’ve waited out in easy-to-understand terms and laid my fears to rest. It’s all been very stress-free which is good when you’re coming from a bad situation. I haven’t ever felt pressured or anything. They’ve asked me one time to up the payment plan but we couldn’t afford it and they backed off. We’re comfortable where we’re at and they know that. They understand that that’s where we’re going to be. It’s a lot easier to make a couple of payments a month to them vs. trying to fit 10 or 12 smaller payments to different places. It was a little scary at first because our credit got trashed really quickly. However, we’ve had two or three settlements now so our credit has gone back up and it’s slowly building. I was impressed with how quickly they got our first settlement which was within just in a couple of months.
However, I would like a little more interaction with them. They don’t really interact with us unless they’re ready to settle so we don’t really know unless we get online within a week. Phone calls would be helpful. I know there are several people who felt that NDR abandoned them and dropped out from the program. We know better because we get online and look on a weekly basis, so we know what they’re doing. NDR made a big impact on our lives. They’re doing a great job. We don’t have to constantly stress and worry about money or debt collectors or anything like that. It’s a big relief off my shoulders.

I had a lot of overwhelming debt and I felt like it wasn't ever going to get paid or taken care of. Every single thing that NDR has paid, it's been substantially less than what I owed. One was $2,000 that they saved me then another one was $1,300. They've been doing justice with what they said they were going to do so I'm very pleased. They're always there to take care of me. I had one instance where I had to go to court for a case so I was a bit fired up. They said they're going to make it the first thing on their priority list, which I assume they did. But I got lucky, I didn't have to go to court because of a hurricane. I never even needed to pass through and go to court because they settled the debt. They sent my signature on the signed document with the payments over to the lawyer. They got everything taken care of for me. Then they walked me through it in a professional manner, letting me know what was going to happen.
We do a lot of things over email so when they have a settlement set in place, they'll shoot me the email then I'll look at it. If I like it, I'd approve it. If not, I don't. I've never denied one and I've always approved them because they were always good from the get-go. The service NDR has provided couldn't be any better than it is right now. I've already recommended them to people who have credit and debt issues like I do.

I googled the best companies for debt relief and people had some good ratings about National Debt. I needed their service for my credit card debt, and signing up with them was easy. I am in my first year with them and I got two more years to go, then I'll be free. National Debt's representatives are normal people working for some people, and they seem to be reasonable. They're easy to talk to and they explained my options and the risk of my credit score plunging. They've been honest. And also, I could not make my monthly payment once, and they postponed it for a few days which helped me a lot.
I would recommend people to go with the program that I went to, provided that they can get a better deal when they settle. From what I understand, if a company tried to settle for $2,000, National Debt gets another $2,000, which is a little too much. In my case, it was $17,000 and we did it for almost $400 a month and for 39 months. And if it wasn’t for their share that was a little high, it could have possibly dropped into 32 months.

The negotiator was also very professional, understanding and accurate on how things would transpire. So far, I’m satisfied with the cost in comparison to the service that I get. However, it hasn't alleviated a lot of the burden with the daily phone calls and the harassment. There's some rogue harassment going on and I have someone putting a summon out on me. National Debt Relief had positive feedback from other individuals who’ve gone through the cycle with them in their comments. I also did some research prior to picking them and they seem like a good fit. Enrollment with the debt settlement was okay. There were a lot of questions that got answered multiple times but after, it went pretty smooth-sailing. Their rep was very straightforward, nice and explained the whole process, what to do and how to accept offers and the next steps after the settlement’s been reached. I’m now with Liberty Lending and I graduated out of the debt part and now on the next stage.
However, some of the communication could be improved. If I had a question, I couldn’t just go online and submit the question. I have to call and then I have to repeat all my secure information over and over again versus doing it once and not be transferred eight times just to go back to the same person you started with. Other than that, NDR has helped increase my credit scores back to where they were before. I don’t have to stress out and worry about what bill I’m paying this month versus going to have additional debt for the next month. It alleviated a lot of that stress. Go with them. It’s not a bad thing to do if you need the help. NDR is here to help.

I wanted to be debt free in the next five years. I had a few accounts that I needed to take care of and I'm getting closer to time and age. I went to some companies and the lady I had spoken to recommended National Debt Relief. They have me in a two-year program and they've been helping me with some of the credit cards, clothing companies that I was dealing with and Kellogg's. They condensed some of the interest rates, cut the bills in half and took care of those. They debit the amount out of my account. I started out in 130 and now, up to 200 and if I can add more, I let them know. So, they're able to do what they need.
Their reps have been knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. They fussed at me for not going to the portal because I received emails from them telling me they've made settlements with companies and how much they've settled for and I'm happy with that. In addition, I have one account with Dell. I'm a school teacher so, in the summer months, I'm not making as much as I normally would. I had big unexpected payments came up and I had to do some right away. But I couldn't catch them up. Then it went to a lawyer's hands and National Debt Relief took it over and got it down from 4,000 to 199 so, I'm pleased. They do what I ask them to do and it's been a huge relief knowing that that stuff is being taken care of. Also, I'm not listening to the phone ring every day from a bill collector. I'm happy that they are there to assist me and they've been doing a wonderful job for me. They've settled four accounts now.

I got injured at the beginning of the year and I wasn’t sure when I would be able to go back to work. I was out of work for about six months and instead of our credit and me and the wife having to go through bankruptcy, I decided to go to National Debt Relief, that way all our creditors would end up getting paid. It would just take a little longer. I had checked into a couple of companies and National seems to be the easiest one for me to be able to do while I was bedridden.
I did everything on the internet. I filled out all the information. I gave them my account numbers then they went ahead and got it all lined up. What happens is they call me and they’ll say that they got a proposal with a credit card, where instead of taking so much, they’ll take a lower amount and they want it in four installments in so much amount of money and that if I am willing to do that with the account that I have set up with them. They worked around what I could afford and it was set on a “per month” basis. With the way my wife was getting paid, we cut it down from once a month to every two weeks payment. That way, it could be taken a little bit out of each check instead of all out at once.
They’re taking care of all of my credit cards right now. So far, they have contacted more than 50 percent of our creditors, and they are in negotiations with them where they’re paying them so much a month to get them totally paid out. It’s been great and I have no complaints at all yet. I had a couple of credit cards that I had used personally for different things that I do, and I ended up kind of knocking my credit rating down, so the credit card company just discontinued the cards, and kill my account off, but besides that, everything has been fine. I felt very comfortable working with them, because everything I did, I had a phone call confirming it. I’m really satisfied.

They were very knowledgeable and they resolved whatever issues I had. They did a great work because I never thought I was going to reach this far with my debt consolidation. The cost was good at one time. But then, I’m getting a financial difficulty so I talked to one of the agents and they reduced it for me for a couple of months to see how I’m going to act with that. I had lost income for a while because of the hurricane and everything had passed. So, I’m back on track now.

I have lost all my income and it seemed they're the best fit to put me back. They helped a lot better than anybody else. And the majority of the people I spoke with are knowledgeable and courteous. They told me that my credit score is going to go down. I asked when would it pick back up. The person I spoke to said that it should take about six months. But instead, it keeps on going down. Recently, they called to tell me that they wanted to put another credit card, which should have been already on the account because every time I pulled it up online, it was there. The gentleman was telling me it wasn't. Still, I find the quality of service I'm getting from National Debt Relief good.
