National Debt Relief Reviews

I was getting behind on my bills. It's the first time I've ever done a debt relief program and so far, so good. NDR was ranked at the top five companies. I talked to three companies and I liked the way the NDR representative handled me on the phone call. Enrollment to the program was pretty simple. Once we signed up with the rep, he sent me the kit in the mail and he sent a few forms back in. It was pretty streamlined. I made one phone call after we got up on board just to ask a few more questions about how the process worked. Normally, they sent me an email when they’ve got some debt company that wants to settle out and I look at the amount, if it looks good, I just say, "Okay." There hasn't been any yet that I didn’t agree to. The payments they gave me were workable. I'm about 20% of the program and they’ve closed out three creditors already. So far, it's been working as they said.

I was trying to raise my credit score and taking more responsibility for my debt. I got on the phone and talked to National Debt Relief about my debt, and then, I sent them all my bills. The negotiator was very easygoing and understanding of my financial circumstances. It was a pretty easy process of just taking pictures of my bills and emailing them to the young lady. They reviewed them, came back and told me what my payment would be, which is well within the range of what I was able to do. I also asked how the program would work if I couldn't make a payment one month or if they could make arrangements with me to move around the payment date. They exceeded my expectations and I've seen my credit score go up and down. It's nice that they handled all the power of attorney stuff and they were able to really work with me.

I lost my job and I wasn't able to pay those debts so I sought out National Debt Relief, hoping that they could make a settlement and we could get this over within a reasonable amount of time. The reps have always tried to give me as many answers as they possibly can, and usually, different ones will call me and let me know where we stand and try to keep me updated. But sometimes I don't hear anything for a month at a time, so I call them and I keep getting the same answer, "We're just waiting on one of your creditors to finalize with this." They said that the process would take six months and it's been over six months and they're still disputing which one of my credit card companies. They’re taking care of all that but the process is taking way longer than I had expected.

I was in a very bad shape and I was overwhelmed with my stupidity. Then, my upcoming daughter-in-law told me about National Debt Relief as she was using them for a credit card. So, I called them and the reps were very nice to me. It was very easy working with them when I signed up over the phone. They’re taking care of two of my credit cards. We’re just making it more possible for me to stay in my house and the process will probably take another three months. The negotiators have been doing a very good job. NDR was doing their business and if ever I tried to talk to a credit card company, I wouldn’t get the same results.

I saw National Debt Relief being advertised then I called and talked to them. They took down a lot of financial information from me and I was enrolled. So far, I’m about a quarter of the way through the program. When they manage to negotiate with one of my creditors, they contact me then we go over the terms of the agreement and either I agree to it or I don’t. If I agree to it, then they start handling it for me. I like how quickly my negotiator gets back to me if I have to call them. I also feel completely comfortable working with him. It's been a great experience and the cost of NDR's services is more than fair under the circumstances.

Both Gary and Kelly treated me with respect, kindness and sincerity. I felt no judgement! I was so nervous to even call. Gary quickly put me at ease. I cannot describe how much that meant to me. I appreciate both of their customer service.

Brandon ** was very knowledgeable - and we had numerous discussions before I finally enrolled. However, he was very hard to contact over the period between Christmas and New Year's. Overall experience was very good - all representatives were very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Very helpful, in making me comfortable, it is very scary for me to be doing this. It takes a lot of trust. They seem to know what they are doing and are good at it. Michael was a great help in answering my questions.

I had looked into a few programs and debt consolidation loans that I didn't qualify for. This program allowed me to ask my questions and get answers and then also quickly and efficiently get qualifies and begin on a journey to become debt free.

In all honesty, I was a little hesitant to contact NDR, having heard such horror stories about such programs. After researching the numerous companies that exist, I decided to contact NDR and ask my questions to see how the program function. My first experience speaking with a Representative from the team was very informative. Harry was straightforward and answered all my questions without hesitation. I told him of my concerns and we discussed them in detail. I was impressed and relieved. At that point we completed the application and he called back about an hour later to tell me it was approved. He went over the entire agreement in detail and told me a Welcome call would be coming to again review all the information.

I do wish they were able to accept all my debts as part of the program, however they were only able to accept about 1/2 of them. I am happy to have help with those debts!

NDR said they will bring my loan down to 50-60%, which they did, but never clarified that they take another 30-40% fee as settlement fee. It is more bringing my debt down to 90-95%. This program is nothing but buying time. Overall not recommending to anyone.

National Debt Relief has a good program to enroll into to help with debt and also has great customer service. They're willing to work with you if you need to postpone a payment. When I couldn't pay my credit card bills anymore, I enrolled with them and the process was easy like a one-two-three step. They checked everything that I had and combined it together. Then they set me up on a three-year monthly payment plan after considering how much I make and how much is the debt. The negotiators were very knowledgeable about everything to help me and what I need to do to get out of debt. And that was very helpful. The quality of service is great and everything is perfect for the amount I'm paying.

I’m pleased with how fast they settled my first bill within two months. So far everybody I have dealt with on the phone has given me great customer service. I have been happy with the results of the consolidation of debt process. It has seems long in getting things started. The monthly payment of $354 to National Debt Relief has been a hardship for me on a fixed income.

I have dealt with National Debt Relief before and I had a bunch of runoffs, so I gave them a callback and they have been great ever since. The staff did a hell of a job as they brought every one of my debts down. I have always wanted to pay more and pay off sooner, and every time I wanted to up my payment, they set it up and take it out of my account every week. Their service costs me about $800, but by consolidating all debts into one bill, the money that they saved me was a lot worth it. I have recommended a few different people and I told them my whole experience with National Debt Relief. The service does cost, but the company works it into your payments, and they let you know when you pay a debt off as you go along so you actually feel you are making some headway. I should be finishing up the process in June of this year. I’m going to start building credit and get a house pretty soon, and I owe huge thanks to them for helping me out and taking the time.

I was struggling with my debt payments. I researched and found NDR was one of the top companies to choose. They seemed pretty legit. I listed the people that I wanted to pay off through the program and they gathered some basic personal information on how much money I had. Once I got into the program, they did the negotiation where they contacted the people that I owed money to and they worked out where I could make some payments and do the pay off in a reasonable amount of time and be able to afford to do it. When they came up with an amount and if that was okay with me, I paid that each month.

I’ve incurred debt over a number of years and want to have it I resolved. National Debt Relief was rated as number one so I went with them. The negotiator explained to me how the program works. I feel very good working with him. They wanted to know how much debt I had and I also gave them what I’m making then they decided from there. And they did alright as we worked on my payment plan. I’m staying with the program for many years but NDR’s working on it. I am not totally happy with everything because it didn’t work out exactly the way they said it was going to but I just have to deal with it right now.

I have many credit cards and I enrolled with National Debt Relief after I read up on them and saw that they were a good company and has helped a lot of people. Their enrollment process was easy and we gave them the information. The reps have a very good attitude on the phone. We've been in the program for a few months now and they have already closed 3 or 4 accounts. The bills weren't built up overnight and they’re not going to disappear overnight. I know it takes time but I’m happy with the way it’s going so far.

Having financial troubles and a job loss, I called National Debt Relief and they provide me service for debt consolidation. The program has worked okay so far and while others have been resolved, there's still one pending. But I was surprised about the fees one time. It took us heavy and we weren't expecting those high dollar fees. The payment plan is a little aggressive and I'm still struggling. We're not paying that compound interest rate, but it has put a strain on our finances to pay all. Other than the fees, the quality of the service is fine. Also, the negotiator was concerned. Doing anything by phone is always uncomfortable for me, but they did good in making me comfortable. We've been in the program for not too long ago but it's going to get resolved, and I feel better about that. We're in the clouds still but once we get towards the end, it'll be great.

I was doing some research to get rid of my debt and the reviews on National Debt Relief were better than any other company. Enrolling with them was super easy. We set it up on May 2017 and it took only half an hour on the phone to settle everything. Then they got back to me the next day to review all the information. It's been going really smooth and I'm very comfortable. I had eight accounts and now they closed four of them in less than a year. Then the other day I got a phone call from them telling me that they wanted me to pay a little bit more on February because February is only 28 days and my due date is on the 29th. I told the lady I couldn’t pay more and she understood what I was saying then she split the payment for the next month. So I’m happy with National Debt Relief. I even sent two of my friends to them, and my friends were so happy, too.

I lost my job and had a lot of credit cards, so debt relief service was our only option to get everything on to one fixed payment. I submitted my information online on National Debt Relief's page. And once it was submitted, someone called me back the same day, in half an hour, and I was enrolled into the program. I just had to sign some paperwork, electronically, then I was read the agreements. The rep was very pleasant, very helpful and answered all my questions that I have. National Debt Relief is very comforting and understanding. They understood when I couldn't make the full payment. My payments were a little high but given that amount that I've owed it was reasonably understanding.

I had too many credit cards and I went bankrupt before. I got rid of some of them then I ended up with them back and at the same thing. And I heard debt relief would be easier than filing bankruptcy again. I found National Debt Relief on the internet and, voila, they are wonderful. The enrollment process was really easy. All I did was tell them all the credit cards I had and that was it. However, I'm a little disappointed because they told me I save money but I pay them that for doing their job. But that’s all right. And I figured this way I'm done with the credit cards. The cost is fine. I got two credit cards with the same company that’s pending and they're hustling me for money. I sent some paperwork to National Debt Relief and hopefully will get those taken care of -- I only got about 20% creditors left to pay off.

I talked to a guy from National Debt Relief and I told him my situation. Then he sent me information and I filled it out. It was all online and I sent it back and I was enrolled. They also set up an account that my money goes into and they worked out a plan I could afford. I'm paying one payment through them and it's nice knowing that I've gotten cards settled. National Debt Relief has settled three credit cards so far, and I'm paying those and then we'll work on the rest. Everybody has been very professional and polite. I've always gotten questions answered to where I would understand it. I would recommend them.

Credit Card companies should have a Interest Rate CAP of no more than 10 % then maybe the common folk could keep up with payments and not have to walk away from debt.

The experience at first was not good. The first young man I spoke to told me he would call me back after speaking to his supervisor which was 1 week ago. Never heard from him. But the young man Mr. ** call to check on my progress and when I explain what had happen he was very helpful and immediately begin the process and with minutes stated my application and told me he would call me back in 20 minutes and call me back before 20 minutes. Went over everything in a way I could understand and made sure everything was the way I would understand and made sure I had any question was please to answer without feeling stupid. The process was smooth and felt like it did not take long. Informative and helpful. Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with two representatives of NDR about my financial crisis. Both of the NDR representatives were very compassionate, courteous, and professional while helping me to finalize steps in resolving my financial crisis. I will certainly recommend NDR to any of my family members or close acquaintances.

I entered the program in early 2018, so I haven't experienced the program to it's max potential. But the people I've been working with thus far have been terrific, and have made me feel comfortable having to go through this process. Based on the customer service alone, I'd recommend NDR to at least get info. Four stars only because I haven't seen it to the end, but I would imagine I'd give it 5 otherwise.

National Debt's enrollment process was fairly quick. They had very experienced people talk to me, and they did a good job. They were knowledgeable and positive that they could help me with my debt. But the cost is a little high. They only settled two bills. And it was only a couple of phone calls and it was $800 something. Other than that, working with them has been good.

I couldn’t keep up on my debt because I got laid off from work and the payments were really high so I needed help. I went online and filled out this thing. They took all my info and then they called me so I went with them. The enrollment process was really easy. I told them my debt and how much I owed on each credit card. They calculated something and told me the monthly payment that it was going to be, and then I agreed. They told me that I had to fax over or e-mail them the statements for each one of the credit cards.

We had a decrease in income and we had to find a way to get rid of some of the debts. We're paying off four credit cards with National Debt Relief. And they've paid off one and settling on two more so we've only got one more to get settled. When we were enrolling with them, we had to give them the account stuff and they figured out whether we qualified or not. They asked some questions about our income, too. And then they told us how long it would take and what the payment would be. We usually get an email and a phone call but we're usually at work when they leave it and when I get a hold of them, they tell us that they came to a possible settlement agreement with the creditor and they ask if we want to go along with it or not. We do the payments every other week. And if for some reason I can't make a payment, they let me skip. The people who I've dealt with are good.

I retired and had too many bills behind. I owed money to my family and some people. My husband and I had to pay everything when we moved from Almira to Sacramento and we also for medicine. I wanted to do something. I called National Debt Relief and they answered very clearly. Their guy explained everything. They asked me for my bills and why I had a hard time paying them. They're very good with me and they have a lot of patience. When I don't understand something, they have Carlos to talk to me in Spanish because that is my language. He's very educated and he explained to me what I exactly needed with my payments.

From what I read, National Debt Relief was a good program. And I had talked to my buddy about it and I consulted with a lot of people, but I’d never been in this situation so I didn’t know where to go besides National Debt Relief. They didn’t explain things well, and that was my biggest concern. It was really friendly from the point of me reaching out and asking information, but as a new consumer, I didn’t know what kind of questions to ask, like who do I go to or how do I file my taxes. They don’t answer any of that. They just tell you to go to your local accountant, but that's not very clear to me. Then once you get to the point of entering the program, it’s 22 percent of your credit card relief or debt settlement but they don’t tell you, “They’re going to take $2000 dollars out of that overall percentage of that credit card debt”.

I had a heart valve replacement and was going to be out of work and some of my debtors didn’t want to really work with me the way I thought they would if I gave them a heads up that I was going to miss three months of work. I had to find somebody who could help get me out of a lot of trouble. National plays the same commercials in the middle of the night. I wake up early for work and I’ve seen it several times. I wrote their number down and they seemed to have the best positive stuff about them so I took a chance.

I have an escrow account that I'm building up with National Debt Relief. Based on the ratings that I read from online forums, I got their service to help with my credit card debt. I enrolled over the phone and went through everything with their reps. They found the best solution for my problem and everything went well. So far, they're doing all the best they can for me and the cost of their service is excellent.

Everything is equitable and reasonable with National Debt Relief. I finished the application process and they gave me a general phone number to call for questions. I also got my online ID and that’s pretty much where I monitor the account. They reach out to the debt holder to settle the account for a lower amount than what it currently is and attempt to reduce the overall overhead. They call though it’s not been the same person every time. They say, “We have an offer. What do you think?” And then we have a conversation about whether or not it’s time, if there’s additional money due, what the amount of money is or is not. We either agree to the terms and they present them to the company or I say I have to pass.
