I looked into National Debt Relief's services because of my credit card debt. The first thing, they got me on this program where they basically tried to work with the credit company to come up with a settlement that’s either equal or less than what the credit card company has asked me for. Then, they asked me a monthly payment. And then, these monthly payments go inside a savings account and that savings account covers the credit card debt. I got two more years left.

National Debt Relief had good reviews so I gave it a try. I got a call from someone from NDR. She was helpful and told me about how they have dealt with so many clients in the same situation as mine. I felt confident that they would also be able to help me. She arranged everything and all was communicated properly and in a professional way. From there, they started contacting those banks. They negotiated on my behalf, and they were good. They kept me updated if there was something new that they were able to negotiate. So far, I’m pleased with what they’re doing. They’re trying to do their best in an effort to get me as low as possible, in terms of negotiation, which is kind of nice. The cost was reasonable. They all cooperated in the arrangements and I didn’t have to pay extra. I like the updates. I am able to log in and keep track of what’s going on. That really makes a big difference.

Glad I signed up. They have been a lifesaver. Very informative, courteous and polite. Wish I would have contacted them much sooner. I would recommend to anyone having debt issues. I was actually able to breathe a sigh of relief and have seen my balances being paid off. It's a good feeling!

Helpful, I hope it works out like they say it will. Very nice lady who set it up, tried to reassure a very nervous person. They are informative and give you all the logistics. They go through it step by step. If this helps then debt free in 3 years, that would be a dream come true.

Updated on 12/16/2018: I had a lot of things happening in my life so I feel I'm in debt but National Debt Relief helped me put the program together. The way we came to the amount that I could afford was by putting up my expenses and then they figured what payments I could do without having to go borrow some more money. I have to pay that certain amount and then they negotiate and pay the debt off for me. That was a lot of relief because I also have a spouse who is incapacitated, heath-wise.

This was an awesome experience. Working with National Debt Relief was by far the best help I could've received in a desperate financial time of need! I've recommended this service to family, friends, and co-workers in need of help that are having similar difficulties that I previously faced.

National Debt Relief has saved me thousands upon thousands of dollars that I put into my savings accounts. They do have a statement viewer, so you can view where every cent of your cash is going. They're generally pretty honest and good. They're easy to work with but they should do a better job with being in touch with the clients out there as far as different offers. They have a pretty large cost, as far as their service charge goes like every month. But the customer call line is really good. They've definitely invested a lot of funds into having employees on the phones for hours and hours.

Great understanding explicitly stated how the program works to achieve financial freedom. Additional legal assistance to handle court proceedings in an attempt to collect a debt. Credit history will be affected til the debt has been fully paid. I recommend their services. They provide a professional oath to negotiate on your behalf.

I am satisfied thus far with my experience. I am sad that my life has come to this place and it is hard to be happy at the moment. I do feel that I have been understood and helped by the people I have been in contact with. The days ahead will prove how good things turn out to be. I am counting on these good people to help me make it through this difficult time in my life.

I was surprised at the cost of the service. I don't remember it being 25% of total debt. I thought it was on the settlement of debt. I had heard that nonprofit companies do not charge as much. But I am thankful my debt is getting much better... I can't wait until I have no more debt.

I think that the National Debt Relief is very helpful all the way around. They are very encouraging, and do not make a person feel like they are a failure. They are kind and courteous. I have been with National Debt Relief since 8/2016 and they have paid off 50% of my debt and saved me tons of money. This past week I had some unexpected bills come up. I called stressed out that I would not be able to pay the car repair and the unusually large utility bill next month. I spoke to James who was so awesome and told me what I need to do to be able to pay those bills without hurting my payment schedule. He took his time and made me feel at ease knowing I that they would work with me to solve my problem without penalizing me. I now will not lose any more sleep and I hope I get James again when I have to call back in 2 weeks.

NDR representatives/customer service calls my phone constantly with no new information. Most Calls are asking for action or information from me without providing me the information I need to make an informed decision about how to handle my account. NDR does not provide me any consumer guideline information to help fully understand what they do/achieve for me. They are not a helpful or coordinated service.

I have always been skeptical to sign up for something like this but after talking to them they put all of my worries to ease and were so incredibly kind. I’m going to be saving so much money in interest and pay off my debt so quickly I’ll finally be able to buy a house!! 10/10 would recommend.

Carter, the agent who contacted me regarding my debt inquiries, was very helpful. He was knowledgeable and understanding of my situation and made every effort to explain the process and the contract. I had been given numerous recommendations and received a few quotes from other companies, but found it difficult to get in contact with them when I had additional questions. Not the case with National Debt Relief.

We got in over our heads when we were younger, had some trouble along the way and needed some assistance out of it. The total process at National Debt Relief was set up within a day, probably eight hours. We set something up, I came up with a number and they’ve made it work. They contact me to give me the information and ask if I want to proceed with what they’ve come up with. The program has taken care of the things I needed to be taken care of, and they’ve alleviated a lot of phone calls. We've taken care of two credit cards so far, and one is going to be taken care of this month. At the beginning, my credit score was rock bottom. But I've seen my credit score increase since we started in September.

I have retired, I'm not having the income that I used to have, and I had a lot of debt. I called National Debt Relief to get some information and they pretty much took it from there. It was very easy. They sent me a binder on the e-mail, explained every page, and signed me up. They looked at my credit report, saw how much debt I was in, gave me a number that I could pay every month, and said they would take care of it. Now I'm paying them and they're paying off my credit cards. Their negotiators are very good and they seem to know what they are doing. The cost, which is 25% of what I owe, is a little high. But they explained that and I don't really have any complaint. I just wish it were a little bit lower. Other than that, working with them has been making my life much easier and I don't have bill collectors calling me all the time. It has been a pleasure.

National Debt Relief went over and collected all the information about the debts that I wanted to put on there and then all of my financial information to see if I was a good match for the program. Mainly, does not respond to questions or concerns submitted. Have asked questions, some twice, and still no answer. When they negotiate a debt, you may as well accept it and go on. You're wasting your time asking them to renegotiate.

Our balance was 1,796 and the settlement amount was 981. The amount which was paid to settle was 1,430. Are you saying that I paid 449 in fees and I have only saved 366 to settle the account, which is only 20% less than I owed. Is this correct?

Well, I am now an approved customers/client of National Debt Relief as of yesterday. The process went fast at the beginning. Now I am on the second day and it feels like a huge rock has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't really know how this is going to be, but so far I can tell that it is going to be a way better option than all other conclusions I have come up with. I just know one day I was worrying about all 14 7 companies that I owed thousands to. Now all in one payment of a really good interest rate that I don't even notice.

Though the process was overwhelming, I did appreciate how quick a response I received and how much I was guided through the process. Some was a bit confusing but, was still able to feel like I was understanding it. The only really bad part of the experience is getting several emails while going through the process on why I should do it, basically ads. They were not helpful in my decision and getting my email inbox inundated with them just made me feel pressured, which my debt has already made me feel.

They do a great job but it comes at a price. They do charge for their services and it is not cheap but they do help where others cant. If your in deep and don't want to go bankrupt they can help. Overall it's not a quick fix but a lasting fix if you go from start to finish. I am on my second year and I am halfway there. So far I will stay the course but cant wait until my last payment. I am counting the days.

I called National Debt Relief to enroll on their debt settlement program and their reps walked me through their process. It took a couple of days and it wasn’t very hard. So far, I had two settlements already but still waiting on the third. The cost of their service was fine in terms of the knot that was settled and their negotiators who handled my account were all right. But they have not been the best at communicating. I was getting a call from a debtor saying that National Debt Relief contacted them and they said the offer was too low. Then the next thing I know there was another offer and the debt was settled but I was never contacted beforehand that National Debt Relief did an offer. So that was confusing.

When the National Debt Relief reps talk to me, they talk to me professionally. Sometimes when you don’t have the company or the office in the place that you live, you're scared because you don’t know if there’s going to be a fraud. But I love that they send me everything through email. The communication was excellent, and everything was good. They always called me informing about everything. I feel more comfortable with them.

I have credit cards debts and National Debt Relief was the first one I found. Enrollment was easy and everything was good with my payment plan. My interaction with their staff was good too. They called and asked if I was okay with the settlement and I said yes. Since working with them, things have been better as far as payments and stuff and I'm ready to have my debts behind me.

I’ve had some financial difficulties and have fallen behind on a lot of my bills and credit cards. So, I was looking to get myself back on track and get my credit score to return to a good status and get rid of a lot of debt. I have used a consolidated credit in the past and it was a simple thing. They seemed to be reputable, and had good feedback from previous clientele. So, I decided to give them a shot, and they’ve been pretty good so far.

I couldn’t afford to pay all my bills anymore and I was working part-time. I was struggling. So, I had to do what I had to and I reached out to National Debt Relief. And they are helping me really well. I should have had two bills paid off this month already and I'm starting on my third one. It feels so good. And hopefully, I can get my life back together soon. National Debt's team have been very friendly, and they keep me in the loop whenever they come to an agreement with one of my creditors. My cost is really reasonable compared to what I was paying before and I feel comfortable with it. National Debt is doing a fantastic job and I thank them so much because if it wasn’t for them, I would still be out there figuring how I'm going to pay my bills.

I had talked to National Debt Relief and I felt that they could help me out with my credit cards and loans. They're paying off the bills without a lot of interest, and it has taken a lot off my plate. They were able to contact everyone, even the bill collectors that kept calling me. Everything's great. So my debt increased over the period it’s taking your company to negotiate my debt. When started program actually debt was just over $10,000. I have to pay you $1,000 for negotiating my debt and then constant small fees to just transfer funds to the debtor and the credit card companies even though notified in writing BY me NOT you, still keep posting interest and late fees, that your supposed to negotiate away and force the credit card companies negotiate on the actual debt not keep adding more to the debt. So I end up paying 80% or more back anyway. You don’t fight hard enough for us poor and we can’t even afford the heavy monthly payment you impose on us as well. I will not recommend this company. Right now my health is in the ** and I’m having to refuse medical to make my heavy payment each month to you guys!

I was not thrilled with explanation of delinquent accounts originally given. Welcome call cleared that up. Had I known initially I would have not continued with process. I am still disappointed with the situation but I have limited options to choose from.

Maybe a breakdown of information is necessary so that the reps don't feel rushed and neither does the client. It should also be highlighted during the "power of attorney" portion of the signing that it's a limited power.

It was very helpful, if all is correct I can be debt free in 24 months or less! I had a lost in the family last Jan. I haven’t been able to get back on my feet ever since I have tried to make min payments but I can’t get out of debt. It's too much interest rate. They double every month even when I try to catch up.
