    NDR representatives/customer service calls my phone constantly with no new information. Most Calls are asking for action or information from me without providing me the information I need to make an informed decision about how to handle my account. NDR does not provide me any consumer guideline information to help fully understand what they do/achieve for me. They are not a helpful or coordinated service.

He was knowledgeable and understanding of my situation and made every effort to explain the process and the contract.     UPDATE 10/03/2018: I had eight credit cards, and I'm paying off four to six now. The payment plan is a good one, and NDR is waiting to make a deal with two more creditors. Their staff is also very nice and very helpful. Their communication level is great, and they do their job.

    We got in over our heads when we were younger, had some trouble along the way and needed some assistance out of it. The total process at National Debt Relief was set up within a day, probably eight hours. We set something up, I came up with a number and they’ve made it work. They contact me to give me the information and ask if I want to proceed with what they’ve come up with. The program has taken care of the things I needed to be taken care of, and they’ve alleviated a lot of phone calls. We've taken care of two credit cards so far, and one is going to be taken care of this month. At the beginning, my credit score was rock bottom. But I've seen my credit score increase since we started in September.

    I have retired, I'm not having the income that I used to have, and I had a lot of debt. I called National Debt Relief to get some information and they pretty much took it from there. It was very easy. They sent me a binder on the e-mail, explained every page, and signed me up. They looked at my credit report, saw how much debt I was in, gave me a number that I could pay every month, and said they would take care of it. Now I'm paying them and they're paying off my credit cards. Their negotiators are very good and they seem to know what they are doing. The cost, which is 25% of what I owe, is a little high. But they explained that and I don't really have any complaint. I just wish it were a little bit lower. Other than that, working with them has been making my life much easier and I don't have bill collectors calling me all the time. It has been a pleasure.

    I had too much debt and not enough money to pay it back. I kept hearing the National Debt Relief commercial over the radio so I took a chance and tried them. National Debt Relief went over and collected all the information about the debts that I wanted to put on there and then all of my financial information to see if I was a good match for the program. And we were a good match due to out debt to income ratio.

    Then they added up the debt and told us how much we would need to have every month, and they asked us if that was a doable amount for us. We agreed to it and set up the bi-weekly payment. National Debt Relief did a really good job and I'm very pleased with them. They keep in contact with me when we get a settlement offer and to get my permission to accept that offer. They've taken away phone calls and emails from the creditors so I don't have to deal with those. I had 10 creditors and we already negotiated an agreement with three different companies. I wish the creditors would get back to National Debt Relief sooner with the settlements so we could get results faster. But overall, I'm very happy with National Debt Relief.

    I was having financial problems due to change in income and out of desperation, I reached out to National Debt Relief, and I’ve been very pleased. The cost seems fair and so far, they’ve been very helpful. The person that I spoke to was very professional and made me feel like I was going to be taken care of. I felt very comfortable. He was upfront and honest. He would either call me or send me an email and then we’ll respond. Their enrollment process was very simple. I spent 30 minutes tops on the phone with them and their customer service was excellent. They stayed in contact with me and I haven’t had any problems. They kept me abreast of everything that’s going on.

    Our experience has been painless. So far, I’m still in the program but one was already paid off and we made an agreement with the two others, so it’s going to take a little time, but it’s going in the right direction. It just makes me feel good about paying back my debt which is a good feeling. They’re working with me, and I feel like I’m making headway, and it’s only been six or eight months. The harassing calls stopped and I’m pleased so far. I’m very happy with the service I received.

    I must say when I first signed onto the NDR program I was nervous and a bit skeptical. It was a big choice and step and a lot of trust. I was worried that this company was going to scam me... But everyone I was wrong. This company is the best. They have helped me a lot. They have paid off several of my CCs with very nice settlement amounts. They have done so much more than I could.     I was almost out of options for every decision and every situation that could have possibly had to encounter. I encounter them every day, everyone does.     When the National Debt Relief reps talk to me, they talk to me professionally. Sometimes when you don’t have the company or the office in the place that you live, you're scared because you don’t know if there’s going to be a fraud. But I love that they send me everything through email. The communication was excellent, and everything was good. They always called me informing about everything. I feel more comfortable with them.

    Before, I felt like I was paying every month and never reduced my debt. That made me feel that I was throwing away my money because I used to spend $800 monthly just in credit cards and they never lowered.     I’ve had some financial difficulties and have fallen behind on a lot of my bills and credit cards. So, I was looking to get myself back on track and get my credit score to return to a good status and get rid of a lot of debt. I have used a consolidated credit in the past and it was a simple thing. But what I didn’t like about them was it was very hard to get a hold of them. They also didn’t make settlements with my creditor. They simple figured out a round number ahead of time, and then I paid every month, but that was it. My debt did go away, but there were no settlements made. So, I looked into some things and I heard the advertisements for National Debt Relief and I looked them up online. They had a good standing with ConsumerAffairs and the Better Business Bureau. They seemed to be reputable, and had good feedback from previous clientele. So, I decided to give them a shot, and they’ve been pretty good so far.

    Unlike the previous company that I have worked with, National Debt Relief created a bank account for me to put money into, where it is going to sit. They then contacted my creditors and they made settlements, rather than just paying the full thing over time, and then pay the creditors with money coming from the bank that they have already set up for me. Another thing that’s fantastic is that I am able to time the way it has been going, and whenever I have gotten a settlement, I’ve been able to tell them, “Okay, let’s take that,” because I had enough in my bank. And if I said that I couldn’t afford to do that, they will wait and keep trying to negotiate. So, I have more control with National Debt Relief compared to the other company that I have worked with in the past.

    National Debt Relief also constantly updates me, like when my monthly payment went up. They told me that they were going to send me a new schedule. It had dates when something was coming out, so I knew, and was able to make sure that I have the funds available and they can take the money to allocate to the creditors. I’d absolutely recommend National Debt Relief.

    The only issue I have is it took too long for them to notify the companies that they had taken over my debt that the companies were calling me and harassing me. So far, I had two settlements already but still waiting on the third. The cost of their service was fine in terms of the knot that was settled and their negotiators who handled my account were all right. But they have not been the best at communicating. Then the next thing I know there was another offer and the debt was settled but I was never contacted beforehand that National Debt Relief did an offer. So that was confusing.

    So my debt increased over the period it’s taking your company to negotiate my debt. When started program actually debt was just over $10,000. I have to pay you $1,000 for negotiating my debt and then constant small fees to just transfer funds to the debtor and the credit card companies even though notified in writing BY me NOT you, still keep posting interest and late fees, that your supposed to negotiate away and force the credit card companies negotiate on the actual debt not keep adding more to the debt. So I end up paying 80% or more back anyway. You don’t fight hard enough for us poor and we can’t even afford the heavy monthly payment you impose on us as well. I will not recommend this company. Right now my health is in the ** and I’m having to refuse medical to make my heavy payment each month to you guys!

    Everything is not as it seems. They do help you with your debt. But the fees are astronomical. Like 30%+. And they say you can set up your own account to use and you can’t. They set one up and charge more fees. You can’t get a complete report of your account, limited to 90 days. So you can’t even get sequential reports. Three months is only ninety days if February is one of the three. And their idea of a report does not come with sub totals of the different fees, charges, deposits, payments and on and on. I am glad with the help with my debts. Just wasn’t told that it would completely ruin my credit.

    National Debt Relief has been working on settlements for me. I signed up with them and I pay them every month. They notify me once in a while when there's a settlement that they had reached, and I have to agree to that. They pay it and we’re done, and then on to the next one.     I was car accident in April then water flood in my home in June then I lost one of my two jobs from the accident and I couldn't make my payments anymore. I don't make that much money an hour and I'm a senior. I'm soon going to be 67. I have a back issue too so I really don't have the physical ability to be handling two jobs right now. It seems that every time I'm getting on my feet, something else happens.

    I was watching TV one day and it said about National Debt and the 800 number and I decided to call. They said they could help me but there were a lot of negative things that I had to agree on for them not to pull it. I thought, “No, forget it. Just go ahead and pull it." If I pulled the $423 on the 30th, that could be a negative part in trying to help me make my settlement. That was not getting anywhere and that was not helping me. They discouraged me a lot when they told me all these stuff. If you're helping somebody who has a hardship, they can come across if they don't have that money that one time. But they were telling me they could go ahead and me not pull it but if they did, they might throw me out of the program. That didn't make any sense to me.

    Right now, they're working on two bills for me which is Walmart and Send MasterCard. They already pulled for the Send MasterCard’s two payments. We got one payment to go in February and we'll be finished with that one. And then we're going to have one more on the 14th of January. They're supposed to pull the 2nd $130 for the Walmart and the last will be February. So those two will be set aside. I have several still pending to be worked on.

    But when I went on my account, I saw that they were charging me something and they're taking money out of the account which I didn't know why. It says what it's for but I've got to go where there's a printer so I can print it out and look at it. I didn't understand how these people could help me and not get paid for it. It said I didn't have to give any money out of my pocket and it didn't make sense. They have to charge me something. They're not going to be calling debtors on my behalf and trying to work something without some kind of fee and I wish they told me what the fees were going to be.

    I'm giving them money. They can pull $500 and say that was for this and I have to believe they're doing it. That's the only negative about the program. But other than that, I'm happy. For nearly a $5,000 debt, I'm going to pay $1,900 for it. For my $894 bill, I'm going to pay $300 and something. That's fine and they're all saving me money that way.

    Overall, it's so far been a good experience with National Debt Relief and I would recommend them to anybody. I need help because I don't want to be in debt anymore. I had a dealer’s card and J.C. Penny. I called them and shed it off and took the cards up and threw them away. As soon as I get out of debt, I'm just going to keep one credit card for emergency. I'm close to leaving this Earth than staying here and I just want to take care of my own self and pay my own bills off. All I'm trying to do is not be a burden to somebody else if I die and I hope I achieve my goal.
