I wish that NDR had been clearer regarding the fees they charge each time something is settled by them and the fact that I think they are rather high. Otherwise I am pleased with their service. I also wish they would try to move with settlement a little faster.

I was supposed to be done with this program on 5/16. Did not know there was one final creditor out there looking to collect. I was reached about the situation and deposited additional funds into my account to have it settled. Months went by, I called several times to see what the hold up was and they stated they were still negotiating the settlement. So January of 2018 rolls around and I still have not heard a thing about my account. I finally called on the 25th of January, I was told that it was the fault of the company as to why it was not settled in an appropriate time frame. They requested that additional funds be deposited into my account to have it settled once and for all. I was really put off by this request, considering that I had already provided the money that they would have needed back in May of 2016 to settle. I was not happy about this in the least bit and that's why I'm giving two stars for the review.

NDR is effective, efficient. Representatives are courteous and helpful. Representatives make regular communications. Reps answer all questions when asked. Not a long wait when calling for help. NDR helps you to get out of debt in a safe and timely manner without having to claim bankruptcy.

Customer Service Representative was very knowledgeable and professional. She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable entering this Program. I have confidence that this Program will help me get Debt Free and save money by the end of the Program.

They were very helpful and friendly to help me resolve my debt. So that I can rest easier now knowing that I know that my debt will not consume me and further. NDR employees are nice, friendly, courteous. They were able to answer all my questions and make sure I understood everything.

Another credit account was settled. I was satisfied with the representative's (Shantel?) clear explanation of the update and the negotiated settlement. In this case, there is substantial savings. There is a reasonable one-time additional payment with reasonable time to pay it.

I had too many debts and I was up to my neck and I couldn't take it anymore. I looked on the internet and decided to give National Debt Relief’s debt settlement program a try. It was more convenient and I got nothing to lose. I enrolled online then I received a phone call from one of their representatives who was polite and professional. He said that he was going to email me a few papers and all I needed to do was agree or disagree, sign, and email back. It was an easy process.

I had four credit cards and National Debt Relief had already closed three credit card deals with the creditors. And the percentage is even better than what the National Debt has been planning in the beginning. In one of the credit cards, they negotiated around 40%, another one was around 50%, and another one was around 55%. So, all of them were good. National Debt always calls me for everything. Overall, I'm really satisfied. I didn't even know it was going to be like this. So, I have shared all my experiences with friends, and I recommend National Debt to anyone who wants to go out from debt.

It's a bit difficult to provide the results of my overall experience until we are farther into the process, however my debt specialist was knowledgeable, thorough, engaged and reassuring during the initial process. As a person who prides himself on his credit score and paying his creditors, even considering this avenue was very difficult; but my debt specialist assured me that I was not alone.

Although, technically one of our debts is said to be resolved, we have been satisfied thus far. I would like to suggest that NDR give their clients a status update more often. Otherwise, great company and we look forward to settling more of our many debts.

Overall, I am happy with NDR.

From all the research I did, National Debt Relief was ranked number 1 as far as being trustworthy and not a scam, and helping people out. The enrollment process was simple and I did it over the phone. I had to give my personal information and fax in a few signed consent documents. At first, I was a little scared because I’d never done anything like that, but I'm very comfortable working with them and they’ve been wonderful. Customer support is always really nice, helpful and awesome. NDR's negotiator calls me anytime they need anything, which has only been one time when they needed an additional consent form for a certain creditor. As for the payment plan, I got to pick when the payments came out. Automatically, whenever you enroll, you owe less money than you would towards your debt each month. We didn’t have to do too much work on that and it was already a big help just enrolling in it.

We got way too much credit card debt. When the oil field crashed, that hurt and killed us. Enrolling in National Debt Relief's program was easy. I looked at other companies and National Debt Relief was cheaper. It has been great. We paid them money every two weeks and then they just talked to the other people that we owe and tried to get us out of the settlement rate. They already paid three out of our nine creditors. It will probably take three more years to complete the program. I only talked to the negotiator over the phone. He would send me an email then would ask what do I think about the information and that was about it. So far, the program has been pretty good. I will wait to see until the end because we have a friend that used NDR and she said that they didn’t finalize all their stuff. Overall, I would recommend National Debt Relief.

I've been happy with National Debt Relief. I googled them and they popped up as one of the people I can go through to consolidate my debts. So, I read their reviews and chose them based on the reviews as opposed to the other companies. Some of the other companies had bad reviews. I called NDR and gave them all of my information then they ran my paycheck and got everything on my credit report. They added everything up to see how much my debt was and then calculated it to plan payments that are suitable for me. They then signed me up, I made my first payment within that week and I'd make payments every two weeks. I wish the payments were lower, though.

It took longer than I anticipated being on the telephone, but your associate was very courteous and kept me informed. Most importantly, we were able to establish an arrangement. It was not exactly what I was hoping for, but it is acceptable.

They do exactly what they say, they do help you get out of debt, that is true. Your credit will flat line though. I am not real sure how I feel about that, sweet and sour. Hoping it will get better, not sure how though, it will be a long road!!!

I am very satisfied with this company because I was able to resolve all my problems in a little over a year. I still have to finish paying my loan but it is very manageable. All six of my cards were negotiated to my satisfaction. I also learned to manage my budget after this experience. I am overall very satisfied.

I wanted to get my credit cards paid off and National Debt Relief has good reviews. I signed up online, they contacted me and they looked up my credit and went from there. We did debt settlement and they are still providing me with getting my credit cards paid off. It's been at least a year, and the program is working good. I have some things paid and I was just working out others. My negotiators let me know what is going on when they call me. I used to deal with one specific person and if I had a question, I called him and he clarified it for me. But now, it is whoever is working that day or working on my case.

I had breast cancer and I couldn't walk for a year. I'd been through a lot of medical problems, and I needed some help to pay my bills. I talked to the counselor at National Debt Relief for a long time and they asked me about my debts and monthly expenses. Then they came up with a plan that worked for us. When we signed the contract, they told us how much we had to pay in a month. I understand that they go through the negotiations, so sometimes I had to pay extra because it's the cost of their money to pay for that. That has happened three or four times already, and they should have told us ahead of time about the extra payment so we could prepare.

When National Debt Relief first signed me up, they went over my credit history to see what I owed. Then they figured out a monthly payment that I should give them for a period of time then they would negotiate to settle all my debts so that it would be paid off in about three years. What happened was, when they decided the amount that I should pay every month, it was a done deal. And then they would call me and tell me that one of our creditors wanted to settle but in order to do that, I needed to put in an extra $100. I didn't like that. I felt like they were pressuring me to put extra money that I didn't have and they went low just so I'd go with them. I told them that the reason why I decided to pay this monthly amount was that that is what I could afford. If they figured too low, that is their problem. They are the experts. And when I told them no, they came back and they settled it. I know when people are lying to me.

I wanted to consolidate my credit cards and pay them all. I had a death in the family, so my credit card just got behind and I have student loans. With my student loans, I can’t have outstanding debt. My program with National Debt Relief has helped with the process of me eliminating the debt so that I can finish my degree and get my PhD. The enrollment process was very simple. The people were easy to talk to. I got it all done in one day and then they set the paperwork for me to sign. I’m still working on my program which is a maximum of two or so years, but they’ve done quite a bit of work. It's been great working with my negotiator. They call me for an offer and also when they reach a settlement. They go along with what I have and they don't pressure me into contributing more money to try to pay it off faster. They’ve done excellent with me. I’m very impressed and I would highly recommend them National Debt Relief.

The stress of having my debt paid by someone else negotiating for me is a great relief but I'm not so sure that sometimes the negotiations are in the best interest of the customer. If you the customer do not agree with a settlement offer it takes negotiators too long to get back with the new negotiation and the debt is not resolved to the best interest of the customer at a lower price. It's always the same customer service Representatives. Also seem to read from a dialogue when telling you of a resolved matter. I understand this was my debt but sometimes I had higher expectations from National Debt.

This company works hard to reduce your debt and help you recover your credit. Whenever I need to speak to a representative, they are easy to get in touch with and very helpful. I would recommend them to a friend.

I was out of work and divorced. I'm a single mom and since my father passed away, I had to go to Mexico. All that came in a period of a year. I stopped on paying my bills and although I was trying to make settlements with my banks they just want to lower my interest. They also asked for my Social and they checked my background, of which they asked permission for. They walked me through the steps and when I applied, I had my job and another part-time job, but I was not receiving the money I used to receive. That was when I started struggling.

I wanted to pay-off my debt and I went with NDR since they had good reviews. They explained everything to me. They ran a report to see if I qualified for the program and then enrolled me in. They've managed to put down the debt on a few of the cards. So, it worked fine so far. I sent them an email or I called it in, and they answered my questions. They work fast if there is a pressing matter and I was impressed with that. Their cost is good. To cut down my debt, they calculated the day and what I could pay monthly. NDR made my life much better since they could take care of the debt, which sometimes could get out of hand dealing with all the creditors. If people feel that they need help, they should go with NDR.

We had too much debt with some credit cards and short-term loans. I provided NDR with a list of the different creditors with account numbers and amounts, then signed some documentation. For an additional fee, they also offered legal services if anything gets to a point where it goes to trial. At the time we signed up, my wife and I were both getting paid twice a month. We looked at the total amount we owed and what the expected settlement might be, then came up with a reasonable payment amount. We're in the middle of the program and making semi-monthly payments, which they are using to settle the debts that they have negotiated. So far, we've already arranged to settle several of the debts.
