    I wanted to eliminate some unsecured stuff that we have and it led me to seek National Debt Relief’s services. When we did some research, I felt that they were the best one for the job. We signed up for their program and the process was easy and straightforward. Their program removed all the extra stuff that we don’t need and we signed up for their legal team too. In terms of the payment plan, they worked with us to get it to where we needed it and they seemed flexible. The cost in relation to the quality of service was good and it worked out well.

    Their negotiators have been helpful in everything and I am comfortable working with them. Whenever we needed to get a hold of someone, there's always someone available. They also respond to emails, which is important for me. However, we don’t hear anything from them unless there’s an offer and I've reached out a couple of times to get an update on what's going on. Right now, we’re in the middle of the program and we’ve been reached out a couple times to accept some offers then we’re still waiting for others. NDR relieved some stress knowing that they're handling stuff on their end that we don’t have to deal with right now. I'd recommend it to a friend if they feel like they needed it.

    National Debt Relief had the best reviews so I went with them. They explained all the ins and out, they went through every part of the contract clause by clause and they tried to study it. They were very upfront as well. The enrollment process was thorough but sometimes, I felt that they were a little abrupt. It just depends on who I got. Sometimes I felt they are very well trained but they’re very almost brusque to the point. And some of them weren't as educated as they should've been because one of them said they don't work with some credit unions. But then I found out that they could add them later on because they only don't deal with collateral-based debt. But there was this gentleman who was pretty knowledgeable. He was able to answer my questions.

    I heard that they wait for a year before they contact my debtors and that's crazy. I can understand two or three months, maybe six but a year before they contact the creditor? That’s irritating. Also, some reps were just not as polite. They’re very matter of fact like I need them, they don’t need me type of attitude. They're excellent, it's just how they came across when I had a question. Sometimes they're like, “Well, your credits going to be gone. You’re going to have to let it go delinquent anyway." I understand that but sometimes I’m like, “Come on now, you all can reach out to them.”

    There's a 25 percent fee based on the original debt and not what they negotiated down to. They’ve already satisfied one debt that I know of. They made offers for USAA and that’s about it, nothing else. So I have other creditors that they haven’t even contacted. I tried to deal with these companies but they won't deal with me directly. They’d rather deal with an agency than deal with me, so that’s the only reason I’m kind of going through them or else I would have just done it on my own because I could have. It has been a hefty 572 dollars a month. I’m like, “You all better come up and show me some results.” Nonetheless, I am very satisfied with the quality of service of NDR and with the amount that they were able to negotiate that down to. I’m satisfied with even having to pay the 25 percent fee. It’s not as bad as I would’ve been paying on my own.

    I’ve been with National Debt Relief for about a year and two months now. I pay them monthly and they’re still working on some of my debts. They have settled only two of my debts so far though and it seemed like it’s taking long. One of my debts was for about $9,000 and they got that to drop to around $1,500. I thought that by getting that drop and paying it off, it will reduce my overall balance or make the timeline shorter but it doesn’t seem to have done that. I’m wondering what happens with the $7,000 I’m supposed to save as I’m still making the same amount of payments and it’s still the same time frame. I would have to see the overall once I'm done, how many days was I able to successfully complete and where my money has been. I want to see some accountability. Also, NDR told me that my credit score will drop but then the rates should start to go up. My credit score has dropped so I’m just waiting for it to start going back up.

    I needed some help in debt consolidation because I couldn’t pay my credit card bills anymore. I kept seeing National Debt Relief in the advertisement plus I got emails from them, so I thought about signing up. Their enrollment process was fairly easy. There was a number on their website and I gave them a call. A gentleman helped me and he had excellent customer service. We had a 30-minute phone call and at the end of it, he emailed me some papers. Then I had to sign them online and send them back.

    National Debt Relief has been great. They lowered the debt that I owed and they made arrangements with the credit card companies so the program is working so far. I have multiple cards with small balances and they’re trying to eliminate them one by one. I just started with them and I still have a year and a half to two years to go. My negotiator was very nice, understanding, and non-judgmental. When I was talking to him over the phone, I felt that I could tell him everything. He was also very helpful and made sure I knew the details of what the charges would be and the follow up phone calls.

    Compared to what I was paying in the past when I didn’t use National Debt Relief, I would pay a lot of money to pay all of my credit card bills. Now, they take out money every two weeks from my account and it’s a reasonable rate. There’s no way for me to avoid paying all of my bills but they helped me and lessened my stress. There are a lot of debt consolidation programs available but if others were in the situation where I was at, I would recommend them to National Debt Relief.

    My credit cards got out of hand and I was paying over $100 a month in interest. I had to do something so I put them all together. That’s all I could do right now besides filing for bankruptcy, and I don’t want to do that. I saw National Debt Relief on TV and heard it on the radio. It had a good rating from Better Business so I went with them. It was easy enrolling with them. I gave their rep my information, he looked it all up and then we put what we could together. They took out so much money from my checking account every month and put it in a fund and then they dispersed it for payment. Every time somebody agrees to deal with them, they call and let me know, which I thought was good.

    I was almost $40,000 in debt in credit card and I pay almost $700 a month. The payment was steep. By the time I pay my bills, I have no more cash left and I get paid once a month on the first. So, I got another little cash job on the side to make ends meet. I still have some big debts that I haven’t settled yet. It has taken a little while for the other creditors to accept the deal. I've been in the program since April of last year. They had quoted me about 28 months or so and I still have two years. But so far, I'm pleased with them.

    Disappointed that the process wasn’t accurately described. Only one settled so far and I was told three payments would come out. When I called I was told It would come out in one lump sum and had I not called I would never have known. This is not what I agreed to. How will these other debts ever get settled when that large of an amount comes out that early on? I have creditors calling relatives, this process is not what I expected and I feel stuck.     I got in over my head with my debt and I got to the point where I was at my max and couldn’t really afford the minimum payment. National Debt Relief took my minimum from $600 a month between all my cards and lowered it to like $400 and are able to consolidate with the companies that I owed money from. Everything has been going great. The reps were all very helpful, able to answer any questions that I had and just been eager to help to get me out of debt. I feel really comfortable working with them. It's still in the middle of the process, like my PayPal, for example.     I was supposed to be done with this program on 5/16. Did not know there was one final creditor out there looking to collect. I was reached about the situation and deposited additional funds into my account to have it settled. Months went by, I called several times to see what the hold up was and they stated they were still negotiating the settlement. So January of 2018 rolls around and I still have not heard a thing about my account. I finally called on the 25th of January, I was told that it was the fault of the company as to why it was not settled in an appropriate time frame. They requested that additional funds be deposited into my account to have it settled once and for all. I was really put off by this request, considering that I had already provided the money that they would have needed back in May of 2016 to settle. I was not happy about this in the least bit and that's why I'm giving two stars for the review.

    I had too many debts and I was up to my neck and I couldn't take it anymore. I looked on the internet and decided to give National Debt Relief’s debt settlement program a try. It was more convenient and I got nothing to lose. I enrolled online then I received a phone call from one of their representatives who was polite and professional. He said that he was going to email me a few papers and all I needed to do was agree or disagree, sign, and email back. It was an easy process.

    I got 35 accounts on the program and I'm already at six accounts only because I cannot do more than the money that I pay every month. They email me what they do and how they're doing to see if I may agree. Then I just send it back over the email if I agree or not and that’s it. So far, I've seen a little progress because I've been on the program for about six months and we already settled a couple of my accounts for less than the amount. They did a pretty good job and they did more than what I expected.

    But I'm a little concerned that they never told me the cost of the program. They say everything is included. But I see that National Debt Relief needs some fee for everything.     From all the research I did, National Debt Relief was ranked number 1 as far as being trustworthy and not a scam, and helping people out. The enrollment process was simple and I did it over the phone. I had to give my personal information and fax in a few signed consent documents. At first, I was a little scared because I’d never done anything like that, but I'm very comfortable working with them and they’ve been wonderful. Customer support is always really nice, helpful and awesome. NDR's negotiator calls me anytime they need anything, which has only been one time when they needed an additional consent form for a certain creditor. As for the payment plan, I got to pick when the payments came out. Automatically, whenever you enroll, you owe less money than you would towards your debt each month. We didn’t have to do too much work on that and it was already a big help just enrolling in it.

    I’m about a third away from completion of the program and I'm finally making progress with my debt. I’ve already got three of my debts settled and I don’t have to worry about all the calls from creditors. They still come but they get fewer as time passes.     I've been happy with National Debt Relief. I googled them and they popped up as one of the people I can go through to consolidate my debts. So, I read their reviews and chose them based on the reviews as opposed to the other companies. Some of the other companies had bad reviews. I called NDR and gave them all of my information then they ran my paycheck and got everything on my credit report. They added everything up to see how much my debt was and then calculated it to plan payments that are suitable for me. They then signed me up, I made my first payment within that week and I'd make payments every two weeks. I wish the payments were lower, though.

    I’m in the program now for over two years. I’m taking a little bit longer than I expected to finish because I've had to take a break from NDR. I'd have to tell them to hold off on the payments because I've got some other issues going on where I have had to pay medical bills. They have settled debts a long ago, though. I feel a little bit lighter as I'm not having to pay all of the different credit cards from different companies separately. It's one easy payment instead of about ten and I don’t have a credit card. Also, I don’t have companies calling me begging me for money. They know that I'm going through a debt consolidator who is helping me.

    NDR has been good. I wish though that they would change one of their rules. When I need to change or move a payment, they want me to call in five days prior to when the payment is due or more and it's a little bit ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to call in so many days ahead of time. It should be about two days to be able to move a payment. Other than that, I've had a great experience and I would recommend them.

It will probably take three more years to complete the program. I only talked to the negotiator over the phone. He would send me an email then would ask what do I think about the information and that was about it. So far, the program has been pretty good. I will wait to see until the end because we have a friend that used NDR and she said that they didn’t finalize all their stuff. Overall, I would recommend National Debt Relief.

    They do exactly what they say, they do help you get out of debt, that is true. Your credit will flat line though. I am not real sure how I feel about that, sweet and sour. Hoping it will get better, not sure how though, it will be a long road!!!
