And while this type of program does impact your credit scores, as time goes on, they build back up versus bankruptcies which stay on your credit record for 7-13 years. I was hesitant at first. The individual on the phone guided me through the process and reassured me that this is a legitimate organization backed by AFCC and have an A+ BBB rating. There are a lot of scams out there and typically when something is too good to be true it's because it is. But this program looks very legitimate. I understand my credit will be temporarily lowered by participating in this program but the alternative is bankruptcy and that would hurt my credit a lot worse. I got into their program where they lower the amount I owe and they take so much away out of my checking account each month. There was nothing I didn't understand, and if I need to move the day because of a certain check and the way it falls, I don't have a problem doing that.

When I’ve made the phone call to National Debt Relief after hearing about them on the radio, they were very helpful. And now that I'm working with them, they call and update me on what’s going on with my account periodically. And we settled two different things so far. Also, when collectors had called, they dealt with it without me having to. They’re available anytime and they’d call me right back if I call. I had a good experience so far.

National Debt Relief just settled my first card with Discover. The card was at $9,600 and they settled for $3,500. I could not be happier, it cut my debt in half and I have three cards remaining with balances under $4,000.

My intake rep. was very helpful and professional. The compliance worker was professional and answered all my questions of concern. So far I would rate NDR with AAA+ rating.

There are still too many calls that come through telling me that they haven't been contacted by anyone from NDR. It would be real nice if all these calls would stop and NDR would at least do some contacting of creditors. Four out of 12 in a year isn't great.

I have to say and going about consolidating debt is a very stressful situation. National Debt Relief has brought nothing but relief to my life. National Debt Relief helped me consolidate all my stuff. They asked about all the credit cards that we had, then they accumulated everything and charged me a fair fee. They told me my program is for two and a half years. I'm half a year in and have settled some debts. Right off the bat, the negotiator was great. He told us everything in detail. He was patient, calm, respectful, nice and very understanding. He made us feel comfortable. So far, everything has been good. They do well in reaching out to us. Overall, the payment plan is good, but I had one month where I couldn't make the payment and they were okay with it. In the winter and during Christmas, it was slow. We were all tight but it worked big enough. With National Debt Relief's help, a big load from all the creditors calling was taken off me. I can breathe a little better and I don't get harassing calls anymore.

I googled good companies for fixing credit and National Debt Relief was the first one that popped up. Applying for them was easy. I made a phone call then they got all my information. Also, they were very easy to contact either through email or phone. They changed the amount that I owed a couple of times. They just asked me if I agreed to the settlements, and the amounts that they were requesting for our account was very reasonable. I qualified for a loan with them, so all my cards are done already. I got a good settlement with all of my credit cards for less than what I have and National Debt Relief handled all of it.

When we initially called National Debt Relief and we were starting the program, they said they were hoping to have most of the accounts done within six months. That’s usually the timeframe they start with getting the show on the road. Lo and behold, six months later, five out of those six creditors settled for much lower than what we had even anticipated.

I wanted to get out of debt. I was looking at different companies on the internet and National Debt Relief gave me an option. When I looked for more information about it, I saw that they have been helping a lot of people. With National Debt Relief, I could also make one payment instead of making different kinds of payments. They also sent me a letter which I was supposed to sign and send back. The program helped me with my monthly payments and the amount I pay now is the amount that I can afford. I just received a call from an agent who stated that they were able to get a settlement on one of my accounts. Meanwhile, I had been trying to communicate with the agency for weeks via email but your agency just kept saying "call us back" instead of answering the question in email. I have a job that requires me to be off the phone since I am working with patients and wait times on your end can be at times quite long. I can understand if the question was hard to explain but I only asked why is there no balance on my account after me paying the advance your company gave me to close the previous deal.

I was a bit on the deviate whether I should go with Freedom Debt Relief or National Debt Relief, but I went with the latter. National Debt Relief has the best reviews on the internet, and in the beginning, when I went with them, I found it as great. However, after I talked to some of the customer service representatives, I felt like there were some things that I wasn’t told before. One of the guys last time was saying that the debt has not been settled and our Mastercard for Discovery which was a little tough. But the next time I talked to the lady, she said those are the easy ones and it was really easy to settle with them. I found National Debt Relief’s number online and I called them. From there, they started to process everything. And whenever there is an offer that has been accepted, they call me to find another that would be a fit for me. They have walked with me in so much to make sure I can afford the payment. They provided debt settlement and the final payment is going to be sometime over the summer. A woman at National Debt Relief usually calls me and she’s very nice. The reps explain things to me and try to understand where I’m coming from and my ability to pay to make a payment so it’s good. I had two big credit cards I had to pay. I’m going to finish paying one of them by April, and the other one at the end of this summer so I’m good. So far, working with National Debt Relief is the best decision I’ve made and I’m trying to get out of our debt.

I couldn't make my payments anymore and when I tried to do a debt consolidation thing, I was told that I had too much debt so I was put over to National Debt Relief. I started the enrollment online. They asked me questions, such as my income and I sent it back to them and then they gave me an amount that I would be paying every month. NDR has been helping me tremendously. I only have to make one payment now, which is a good change from having a bunch before. I just make my payment and let them do their thing. I have a total of five debts and so far, two of them were taken care of. I've had good results with everyone I've talked to and they've been very friendly and very nice.

We were barely keeping our head above water. I’m 62 now and my father died and left us a house and a mortgage, utility bills, real estate taxes and house insurance. Also, my husband hasn't received an increase in salary in over 10 years even though he has advanced in position.
