    I had credit card debts. National Debt Relief was the first one I saw and the enrollment process was all done over the phone and through the computer. It was quick for someone to get back to me. Normally, they would call me and say that they made a deal with one of the cards. And then, they tell me the amount. They also asked me if I would approve it or not. David, the first guy I ever talked to was helpful and kind. Also, I'm comfortable working with National Debt Relief. They helped me get out of debt with two cards right now and working on the third.     They quote you how much to pay each month and they say it is to cover what you will pay to settle your debt. When you say, "Will there be more fees," they say no. But when they negotiate your settlement they want more to process the settlement. Buyer beware, this is kind of shady how they lie. When you pay your monthly payment that should be it. I am looking into changing companies. I know other debt negotiating companies do not charge an extra fee for the settlement.

    The sign-up process was amazing. Obviously this was a HUGE decision for my husband and I to make for our family and we definitely had our doubts after reading some of the reviews and talking to others who had gone with the debt relief option, but didn't use National Debt Relief.     I lost my job and have had difficulty in meeting my bills. It finally got to a point that I had to do something and I saw the NDR advertisement. I called them and then went from there. They're trying to lower the debt and negotiating with the vendors to hopefully settle for something less. The first person that I spoke with was Elizabeth and I found her to be very helpful. Of course, when I made that initial call, I got so much information so I was a bit overwhelmed. It was a lot to absorb at one time because I had never had this issue in my life. But I decided to go ahead and proceed with things. I provided all of the information about the credit cards.

    I came away with a positive feeling and I’m glad I’ve done this. But again, I had to call back because I couldn’t remember everything that was said initially. It was sort of hard to come up with how much do I spend on this and that and I didn’t have it calculated in front of me. And I think I misjudged because when my payments were established, two payments a month, I was finding that it was very hard to make payments. And I still do because my insurances have gone up, my rent and electric have gone up. I call them and let them know when there are changes in my income.

    I’m bound and determined to get this present vendor paid off no matter what it takes. I have to borrow money and a payment should have come out this morning. There have been times that I’ve had to call and let them know that I’m not going to have this money. They have worked with me in skipping a payment. But I realized, it really hurts me in the long run but I have no other choice. If I don’t have the money, I don’t have it. I’d rather be upfront about it than let NDR draft or attempt to make a draft and then the funds are not there. Every time I’ve called them, I will say that I’ve been very impressed with each representative I’ve spoken to. Except for one time, one of the reps was not a very pleasant person to speak with.

    I've been in the program for a year now. One of the cards has been completed. That payment is finished, and I’m into the second one. I’m trying to get through this present creditor right now. Sometimes it seems like the fees are high and sometimes when that big payment is drafted and then I saw that it went to a fee, instead of the payment on the card, it’s a little disheartening. But I would like to get to a point where I can negotiate some type of payment. And I’ve expressed this to them, that’s why I call in any change to my income because as they are negotiating for me, they need to realize that when I make these two payments each month, I have nothing to live on, and that’s scary. Nevertheless, when I log in and go into the account, I see that NDR is continuing to negotiate. They always call me when something is final and has been agreed upon.

    Someone recommended me to National Debt Relief and I had my niece research it, and she told me that their ratings were high. The enrollment process was fairly reasonable. It took some time to get everything together but it was okay. NDR is the one fighting off the creditors and they get the payoff amount. Then, they call me to see if I agree with what they are negotiating for. They told me to let them know if I was not happy with a settlement. Working with them is a plus because I don’t have any credit card to use. I just use my cash and what I don’t have, I leave alone. Based on the payoff amount for the bills and in reference to the benefits, the return on their percentage was a bit costly. Also, they could let me know how far I am into the program and what my balance is in six months, just to give me a little update as to where I’m at. I’m supposed to be in a two and a half to three-year program and I’m probably about a year and a half into it.

    Also, I had one debt that NDR did not have on my credit consolidation list and they told me that I had to have the creditor call in. So, I called that creditor to tell them to touch base with NDR. I just need to find out from NDR if they were able to get in touch with this last creditor as I don’t know if that was done. I need to know because I offered to pay that creditor off myself and NDR told me not to because other accounts that are linked with them are included in the program. I don’t want it lingering outside and I don’t want any other credit card bills different to National Debt Relief.

    The rep that I talked to upon initially calling refused to answer any of my (3) questions, and very rudely by repeatedly telling me that the calculation estimate I was asking for could not be calculated. Eventually, ~ 10 mins later, I specifically asked to transferred to a team leader, he obliged. After waiting (3) 10 minute intervals, or ~ 30 mins, I spoke with Brianna. She answered each and every detail of my 3 questions and extremely polite. Brianna was a "gem", I've called other times, and it's been unfortunate that all the reps acted similar to the first rude rep I described above. Brianna should be promoted. The rude rep I mentioned should be disciplined. Brianna should teach all reps how to be courteous and train them on detailed calculations. Brainna is clearly a 5 star, the 1st rep is a 0 star- Very POOR.

    My experience with National Debt Relief has been really good and I'm completely satisfied. I had a lot of credit card debt and lost my job at the same time. It was horrible. I have been with them for two years. They're still collecting negotiation fees but by May 9 I'm off the hook. NDR really did a good job for me. They told me what to expect and it worked out exactly that they said. They negotiated the settlement on my three pretty serious credit card bills. They called me when they've settled the bill and the cost for their service was really reasonable. The only thing that was uncomfortable for me was that it did wreck my credit rating. Nevertheless, I sleep better and I'm out of debt. I'm trying to rebuild my credit rating at this point.
