My brother had cancer and he just passed away not too long ago, so we're helping our family out with some money. We got well behind our credit cards in doing that. I heard that National Debt Relief was number one and so far, the experience had been very good. My wife and I looked up the enrollment process and Googled it. We made the phone call and since then, we've been doing the program for eight months. I'm paying $580 a month which is something that we could afford. I also like that I only have to do one payment, then NDR does their magic. Two cards are already paid off out of five. They told us that probably by next March, it should be all paid for.

Will not know the outcome for 48 months or so but do not expect any problems.

I looked up National Debt Relief and they were top rated for consolidating debts. I called them and one other company's rep but NDR's reps were the ones that actually made sense when they were talking to me about debt consolidation. So I enrolled with them and it was really easy. They made the process foolproof. And so far, they’ve settled a couple of my bills, not all of them yet, but I’m happy with what they’ve settled and what they’ve settled for.

To start with, everyone at National Debt Relief was easy to work with and a plan was set into place really quickly to get the help I badly needed. This was a last resort for me as I couldn't get a loan to just pay off credit card debts which was my first option. This solution will have an effect on my credit rating, I will lose the credit cards, however, when debts are finally paid off I can start again, move forward and try to reopen some cards and use credit cards more carefully and wisely. Once you sign up they will not negotiate in lowering the payments at all!!! I called after my car broke down and the person I was talking to was nice but when she talked to her supervisor regarding my situation, she came back on the line and related his message to me "you are on your own, you knew what you signed up for". I felt like I was punched in the gut. I called other companies exactly like NDR and they had lower payments that would fit into my budget. Since my car broke down I had to get another car. My car payments almost doubled. You need a reliable car to get to work and be able to make payments!! So not happy with the customer service or negotiation on debt amount to pay back!!

I have been very happy with NDR. They have resolved several accounts for much less than what was owed. There are fees connected with each settlement, but you are still paying less than what was owed. They seem to care and explain things well.

I am happy so far with this program. I appreciate all the information I have of the creditors that are willing to negotiate. It's a relief to know everything is coming together. I just hope all continues to go well. I wish I had additional funds to deposit, but I do everything alone, therefore it's a bit complicated but I'm keeping my faith. I was up to my neck in credit cards and I was going nowhere. Then, somebody recommended National Debt Relief to me. We talked to them and the program has been going beautifully. Right now, I’m down to 5 from the seven credit cards I owed and two has been completed. Anytime I call my negotiator, he is there for me and he answers my questions. They all call and if I don’t know, the negotiator would always sit and explain to me step-by-step. I didn’t know how the money situation worked out but the negotiator told me how it went. I have the amount of money and NDR pays the credit company an amount of money but by the time they paid, I would already be getting an amount of money. Then, NDR will start working on another company.

They were very helpful and nice. I would tell all my friends to call them if they need help like I did. They helped me with the computer as I only play games on it so I don't know much about this and they were very patience with me.

Great Customer service. Very thorough on explanations. All information was given in great detail. Information that was needed such as fax number/email was given. I have to admit I am nervous about beginning this process... It seems to be a hard step to let go of making regular payments to creditors so that the money can be better utilized. That said, the persons that I have dealt with thus far have been knowledgeable, personable, and friendly, not to mention almost overly concerned that I understand the aspects of this service, both positive AND negative (i.e., credit score drop, etc.). I am also pleased with the way they handle questions, of which I somehow keep finding more to ask - they have been ready with an answer each time. So far so good... The people at NDR have made me feel better about what is maybe not the best option if you ask a financial expert, but it is in fact the only one open to me. We will see where this journey takes me.

Went into the program 16 months ago. During that time I have had nothing but excellent customer service and experience from this company. In this short time they have resolved over 60% of my debt (started at over 50K). Paid much less than what I was going to owe. Average savings was over half what I owed and it has been a great help for me and my family. I cannot say enough great things about this company. I was even served by a creditor, contact NDR and they took care of everything within two weeks. Constant communication with updates and the client portal is great. This program is a godsend. I understand that you have rules, but they need to be flexible. I wanted to keep my bank card out of the program. I fought to keep it out. Otherwise your process is quite thorough. Drew was very patient with me.

Patience is paying off. At the very beginning they told me to be patient and everything would work out. After several months of making regular payments, it's finally really starting to pay off. Dents are getting paid and my credit score is starting to improve. Their negotiating team does fantastic work. Every account was settled for less than 50%.

Good communication skills were apparent. Explanations were easy to understand and grasp regarding calculations of payments and fees involved.

After today knowing one of my debts has been taken care of I feel overly relieved. I got all my questions answered and other questions that weren't related were answered in a quick fashion as well. The only reason I give this review a 3 stars instead of a 4 or 5 is because this is the only good experience I've had. Other offers to resolved my debt haven't been very good as they've asked for 3-4 large payments of anywhere between $800-$1200. I can't handle those kind of payments or else I wouldn't have done this Debt Relief Program.

I struggled so long because I had always paid my bills. A family member did not honor commitments I cosigned for and I ended up covering those commitments with credit cards. A horrible choice. Perhaps too many documents to be signed --- felt like I was signing my life away and I still have one or two left to sign as I had to leave EMail. I was on my apartment's desktop and someone came in who had to have access to computer right away.

The service was great. My only complaint is that when they go over all of the documents, the representatives are very long winded. They tell you it will take 10-15 minutes but it's usually more like 30-45.
