I did a search to try and get rid of some of my bigger credit cards. I called and talked to National Debt Relief, and it was easy. I'm not too knowledgeable on debt relief and the reps explained how it worked, what their company offered compared to some of the other ones. It was NDR’s customer service that made me go with them because if I would've called any other company, I might’ve just went with them instead. Their enrollment process was smooth and painless. I told their reps what my situation was, and they wanted me to submit documentation or paper trail to make sure I was who I said I was, and my debt was legit. The process took about a half hour between the phone call which was me inquiring and the paper transfer via my tablet. I got an iPad, so I signed all the stuff there then sent the documents back, and I was enrolled.

I have a business that I run and our partners basically had a fallout with another group of fellow partners. We were going through a lawsuit which took a toll on our finances so my bills were accumulating. I was paying them off in time but it wasn't going down at all. A friend of mine did National Debt Relief and I was basically referred. I also looked up the reviews and they were good compared to other companies that were out there.

I wanted to get out of debt and, being the first company that I found, I went with National Debt Relief. Their rep told me what their program was about and because I didn’t have a job at that time, he told me to find one and after that to contact them, which I did. And I told him how much I was making and he helped me out with a budget to get out of debt as fast as I could.

So, I needed to make a change and something to help me get over the humps. I've been dealing with debt for a while and I got tired of it. I wanted to make some effort in getting payments done. I don't have a lot of experience in contacting different companies to get my debts paid off so I sought debt relief services. I filled out something on the internet and NDR called me and sent me more information as well as some paperwork to fill out. After I got my other information and spoke with them, I decided to work with NDR.

I wanted to get rid of three credit cards and so I sought debt relief services. I talked to one of the reps of a company and he were pushy. I didn’t like the way their guy was talking, trying to sign me up no matter what. He was a high-pressure salesman. On the other hand, National Debt Relief's negotiators call me and let me know what was going on when we went away and the next debt was going to settle. They don't want to harass me and they're all nice people. When we have enough cash, they would settle for us. We've gotten one credit card done and things have been going well thus far.

The enrollment process at National Debt Relief was a little confusing and I didn’t like it, but still it was all right. Since then, they have been doing my stuff but I’ve never heard anything from the reps. Now I’ve got people suing me, so I am fixing to leave National Debt Relief and I gotta get a lawyer.

I had heard of National Debt Relief once or twice before awhile back but I thought I was somehow gonna be able to take care of my debt on my own. I suppose I could have called the companies and all that instead of paying hefty fees for getting them taken care of by another company. But I've had this debt for like freaking ever and there's one in there that I have had for a terribly long time. Now I'm trying to get this debt all gone by the end of June before the baby comes. That way it's not an issue for anybody. But I don't think that's gonna happen. I've got 3,600 in my account right now but I got 13,000-something left.

My only complaint is that I feel that I was lead to believe that the accounts would be settled in about 6 months. It has been almost 6 months and they have only settled one account. When I called to ask about why it was taking so long her reply was that I would add more money to my account. I could have paid them myself if I had the money to do that. So plan on your credit.
