    I was lucky to speak with Josh as he assisted me and answered the plethora of questions I had. Not once did he seem bothered, nor did he rush me when I was hesitant or had “silly questions”. I’ve been debating on what to do for awhile now being in this predicament with my debt. I was highly considering going Bankrupt but Josh explained everything to me and helped me to make a better decision going through NDR.     I was so deep in debt and I needed to get out of it. But I wasn’t able to by myself. I had a hardship that my income went down abruptly and I couldn’t keep up payment. My ex-wife had worked with Freedom Debt Relief and had gotten out of debt. But when I compared them to National Debt Relief, Freedom was not as welcoming. National Debt Relief charges too much though. But I got tired of talking to creditors. It was so frustrating trying to talk on my own behalf and when you are this frustrated, rather than rack up more debt and interest, just let someone else do it for you. It’s okay.

    The negotiator, Chris, was very respectful and professional, and I was comfortable working with him. He was also very motivated. It may take a couple of years but all these debt will be gone. Right now, I’m paying what they told me to pay to be able to slowly get out of debt. The creditors are not reaching out to me anymore. But National Debt Relief has been quiet for two months. I wish they could tell me when they are negotiating with creditors. I have not seen results and I don’t have any way of verifying that National Debt Relief is paying off my debt except by contacting the credit card companies. And they're making me want to do that.

    I don't know if I made a good decision going with National Debt Relief. I wasn't as happy with the enrolment process, but it was more of the way I wanted to go than some of the others so I went ahead and went with them. But I'm not really happy with them at this point because they kept telling me that they’ve lost information or they need it again or why haven’t I sent it. Just a lot of nitpicky things. If I mailed stuff in and it was photocopied to their system and it didn’t come out correctly, they should have checked it and have been more aware that it didn't work and that it should be done again.

    I keep sending these huge packages of letters that I’m getting because I don’t have a way to fax it and I don’t have a way to upload it. The first set, never received, got there. I didn't even keep track of what I'm putting in an envelope. When the envelope gets heavy, I mail it off. I also don’t make copies of any of the stuff for myself. I called them yesterday to find out what I was supposed to do and I was told that they see where they received the authorizations to contact the people I owed, but that it was very faded and that they can't use that as a copy to send to those companies. I said, “So what you’re saying is you don’t keep the stuff once you put it on your system? You throw it away or what? You don’t check your system to see if it’s legible or anything?” And they said they don't!

    Then, in the past when I sent them a list of all the addresses that I have for the different debts that I wanted to be collected, they took care of notifying everybody and now, they’re telling me that I have to do that. I already went to each individual bill and I changed all the information to their address, their phone number, and all of that. And it’s like it didn’t even happen. The companies are still calling me. My husband who’s really anxious gets very upset when he keeps getting phone calls after phone calls. I've told him to ignore it but I’m getting to the point now that I am too getting tired of the phone calls and the emails.

    NDR is working on two companies and they’re taking $380 every two weeks out of my account. But I just feel like they’re not really working for me. They haven’t paid off any company. The cost is also a little bit high but they told me that everything that they’re taking out is going into an account so that they can pay off some of these bills that we have, which is fine. So far, we’re only paying $252 to two different credit cards. I know the other money is sitting in the account, but why are they working with somebody else to try and deal with that? I also don’t get any feedback from them at all unless they have settled or are trying to settle a case, when they ask of either yea or nay. I wouldn't recommend National Debt Relief to anybody.

    I was paying out more than I had coming in and I was getting caught behind the eight ball trying to get out of financial stress. What I was doing was just shuffling debt from left to right rather than eliminating them. I saw the writing on the wall that it was gonna get down to the next couple of months and at that point I’m gonna have to cut a few things down that would truly affect my way of living at home in general. So, I tried to get some help before it got too late.

    I called National Debt Relief and they provided me with consolidation. They would do the dirty work. I used a different company prior but I didn't hear from them personally. I heard from the third party over them all the time. But with NDR, the experience was completely the opposite. They were the only people I had to talk to. My negotiators were very down to earth, helpful, and understanding that I was in a jam and I needed some help to get out of it. They didn't force anything on me and they wanted me to make all the decisions as far as what I feel comfortable with. And if I didn't feel comfortable, they were willing to seek as many other possible options that they had to offer. They also called me more times than it was me having to call them to find out what the status was. Also, if I had a question, they would seek out the answer. They were really looking for my best interest and once I got the documentation in, things didn't take very long.

    NDR helped me out in finding what my flexibility would be as far as what I could pay per month without stretching my boundaries, which is the reason I was calling. I couldn't stretch any further, so they want to relieve some of the pressure off me. They were very flexible in that area and that really helped me. Once, I also called to get the date adjusted and they told me that there was no problem and that they can do it. But they told me that after that, I would be locked in to stay in the same date. And it worked out well. The cost has also been spot on. I knew that there was gonna be a point where there was a finance fee out of the whole deal. It was understandable and it makes sense. But theirs wasn't so extreme. It didn't make me feel as if I was paying them more than what I was trying to get rid of.

    Working with NDR has taken the stress out of a lot of things, when you're thinking about not having enough money to take care of the things that you got backed up on you and somebody's willing to step in and say they’ll be your support.     The interest from the credit cards were really high. I did my research and National Debt Relief came out as one of the best debt relief companies. So, I went with them. I called them, gave my information and then they called me back. They took all the information, reviewed my credit and everything that I own. The experience was great. The credit cards that were really high and the interest that were high were all put in one payment. The payment is lower than if they put all of them together and that works for me. So far, I'm a quarter done with the program.

    The first negotiator that talked to me was really great. The second one wasn’t that great because I was trying to explain my concern about my credit really dropping a lot because I have to stop paying the credit cards. And he said, “Oh, but you should have known already that it was like this.” He was very strong. And I just didn’t like that because whatever it is that they’re doing for me, I’m still a client and I’m still paying their salary. So I wasn’t really that happy with the second one.

    At the beginning, I didn’t really understand the program fully. I didn’t know that they will be paying the credit cards slowly, one by one, instead of sending the payments to all credit cards every month. I was a little concerned about that and they didn’t explain it right. It would be good if they would take the time to explain right from the beginning. For me, it’s very strange that all my credit score is really suffering because of that and I've always taken care of my credit a lot. I had almost 800 points and now it’s about five-something since I started with NDR. If it was explained, I’d probably kept paying all the credit cards so my credit wouldn’t drop. Now, my credit score is really, really bad.

    Nevertheless, NDR helped me financially because everything has lowered my payments. It’s good for me because I have a daughter. So, I couldn’t really pay all that much money. They gave me a payment plan from the beginning. They told me, “This is what you should do” and that’s what I did. Having smaller payment every month really means a lot.

    I was looking online, reading some reviews and National Debt Relief seemed to be legit. I’ve been with the program for more than a year now. The enrollment wasn’t that long. It was just filling in some information online and I had a conversation with the agent that was helping me through the application. Then I signed the documents and that was it. He was able to find the information on my debt.

    Basically they talk to the credit card company and if they get to lower my debt they ask me if I accept it or not. A few times the negotiators just send me an email and I can just click on yes or no. It's all done through the internet. They get money from my bank account every two weeks. I feel relieved that I have somebody taking care of my debt in that sense. Even if I’m the one paying for it but at least I’m not paying $900 a month in minimum payment to all my credit cards.

    But I just have to call them regarding these issues that I have the last week. I have to call the company because I’ve been receiving calls from different credit cards saying that they haven’t been contacted by National Debt Relief regarding my debt. The other day I gave NDR's contact information to one of the companies. I really need to call and see what’s going on and what’s the status of my account because online, I can only see the payment and I see it reflected in my bank account when they deducted. But if I’m receiving calls from my credit card, I’m not sure what’s going on. But before that NDR was fine. It’s a company that does its work.
