    I went through a divorce and I was in the hospital for a week. I got behind on everything. I did some research and read some reviews and National Debt Relief had better reviews at that time. I then enrolled for their debt relief program and the process was easy to follow. They tell you upfront that the more money that you can put in your account, the better and the sooner that you can get the debt paid off. However, they were not as upfront with their fees and stuff that they take out of your account for themselves. I tried to get them to lower the payment because I'm not working. However, they told me that they can only do that for a short period of time and then they would have to go back to the regular.

    No one keeps in contact with me. Whenever National Debt Relief got a debt settlement, they send a blanket email saying, "Hey, do you agree to this?" I thought they would be able to settle some debt sooner than what they had told me in the beginning, but they haven't, so I'm a little disappointed with all that. Then, they're not very good to respond. I've sent emails to them asking them what's the status of some of my outstanding debts. I also asked them about an over $900 fee that they took out of my account and I never got any response.

    We were making the minimum payments and not able to catch up with our debts so we went with National Debt Relief since they're based in Texas. During the enrollment process, I filled out some forms and gave a Power of Attorney to look through certain things. Everybody I've spoken to has been knowledgeable about everything that was going on and they were polite too. I was comfortable working with them and the cost to everything that I got was good. I've got about three months before I'm totally debt-free and I would suggest NDR to other people if they’ve got no other options.

    Our bills kept piling up and the interests kept getting higher and higher. We almost couldn't pay the minimum payment, so we thought we needed to do something. A long time ago, we had gone with CCC and it worked, but we didn't know how to get in touch with them. NDR called us and what they told us sounded good. We told them what our bills were, and how much we paid. They worked out a payment plan for us. We're both on Social Security and do two payments. One on the third week of the month and one on the fourth week of the month with each payment at the same amount. They're gonna be paying off our debts in four years.

    Their negotiators have been really helpful if we needed anything or if we called them with a problem. We've already paid off three different credit cards so far. Working with NDR has helped us out and saved us from having to file bankruptcy. We are happy with the way they're going now. NDR helps pay off your bills in a certain amount of time so you wouldn't be surprised at getting a big bill all at once.

    I was having credit card issues and at the time that I was looking, National Debt Relief met my needs. The enrollment was easy and they have been providing me with consolidation services for a couple of years now. Stress-wise, NDR has made quite a bit of difference and the service has been worth every penny. I make one payment to them every month and they’re taking care of all of my credit cards. My rep has been able to negotiate for me and I’ve been able to pay off several of my credit cards already. We’re working together to get the rest of them taken care of. Then, the cost was within my budget range, too. But I wished I could pay more to get it done and over with quickly. Since being on the program, NDR has already paid off several of the smaller bills. They're now working on some of the larger ones. My credit rating has also gone up to almost 700 from 450. They have also helped me in getting collectors off my back.     I was looking to get a home. I knew I couldn’t afford the cards at that time, so I decided to look into something to get all the cards taken care of. I saw National Debt Relief in the Better Business Bureau site and their ratings, so I got them. Once I talked with National Debt Relief, I had requirements for $10,000 or more in debt and they got all the information that they needed. They went through the process, gave me a callback and told me that I was approved in that program. They rounded up the debt and then they contacted my cardholders.

    The negotiator was really professional in a way where he walked me through everything that he was doing and what I was expecting. He made me feel a lot comfortable as far as describing the steps, what to get done and how long I would have to pay everything off. He also sounded very confident about what he could get done and what he couldn’t. We came to a comfortable amount a month that they would take out of my account and I agreed with that amount so that I could get the process started and try to get the debt paid off as quick as possible. Now, I have everything all in one set and the payments are set up through my account. Once they made an agreement with one of my cardholders, they would notify me of the payout. I’ve paid off three already and NDR has provided me with a way out of all the stress.

    My mom was looking for someone where she could get what I was getting done. I told her that she could join National Debt Relief also. I gave her the number, she called and they processed her information and got her approved, too. I went through the steps with her and I used my email for her to get her mail. She is now set up with NDR as well.

    I've seen what my credit card was getting and I thought about the numbers in my head. I saw about National Debt Relief on TV and when they said that they'd be able to do debt relief, I told my wife and called NDR.     I contacted National Debt Relief this week. I spoke with Calvin **. He seemed abrasive. He gathered all my information and went over my total debt and other expenses. Calvin knew what credit cards needed to be settled and my total debt. He emailed me a debt inquiry with a breakdown of what my payment would be and for how many months. Upon emailing back and forth, I decided I wanted a more understanding and caring representative because I should not feel bad for reaching out for help. I had even asked for a female representative. I received a phone call back from Oz. He assured me that Calvin would not be contacting me and he would handle my information.

    After I had completed the application with my personal banking information to set up payments, I received a call about an hour later. When Oz called me back, he said upon further review, the cards I had debt with (Discover card) would not be able to be settled since that was a majority of the debt. He said they would not be able to help me. This was a waste of my time. I was upset that they had my social security numbers along with my banking information. I should of been told right away they could not help when Calvin looked at my credit card debt. I was in tears on the phone and was told they could recommend a nonprofit agency I could talk to. This was an awful experience and I am hesitant to reach out to anyone else.
