    I just started with the process at National Debt Relief and their people were professional. They answered all my questions and made me feel assured. They've already settled two debts and working on a third one. I understand the program, however, I thought they reached out to everyone at the same time to let them know what they were doing, but that was not the case. NDR should tell the credit companies what they're doing so that those companies would know that I'm going through debt relief. One of the companies tried to offer me a solution before it got too out of hand, and it was almost tempting to fix it. However, I didn’t want to go any further into them because it has a reset of 90 days and 60 days debt to get. I asked them if they know about NDR. They said no and that they haven't been contacted yet. Other than that, NDR is good and I enjoy working with them.

    I was a little iffy about joining this program, especially with my credit score dropping once I start. I thought to myself, although it might drop now, I have to think long-term; I know I rather pay make sacrifices now in order to get out of debt sooner, rather than 30 years from now with all the interest I have.     I was trying to clear all my debt and gave NDR a try. The process was easy from the beginning but going to the end I couldn’t afford to finish it. I also had to pull out. They were flexible on the payment plan. I was offered a loan from the other loan company so they can finish it faster but when they came back to me, the bargain was too much. I would have ended up paying more, and that was not what I was looking for. However, with the rest of the account that was done, it was really nice and done on a timely manner. They usually get a higher negotiation so they can go back and do it again. I’m hoping next time they can actually do a better negotiation. But NDR helped me get rid of a lot of the debts and I would recommend them.

    The reps that I work with at National Debt Relief know what they're talking about and they sound confident. But so far, I haven't really seen great results. They have resolved three debts but when I look at the statement, most of the money has gone towards their fees. The service is extremely expensive and certainly not worth the fees that they're taking out. If I didn’t work so many hours, I would probably look into doing these negotiations myself.

    I like how National Debt Relief handles clients and how they connect and communicate with me. I had a good rapport with them and that was why I chose them. The enrollment process was good and very clear. And when I had a couple of concerns or needed a little more clarification, they were very patient. The agent that I was assigned to was pretty much like an assistant. It was easy to contact them. So I felt good about the process and the expectations.

    The people at National Debt Relief help you free up on debt and understand how to manage your bills going forward. In terms of communication, they’re not a micromanaging kind of company that would constantly call about nonsense. If they need to contact you, they will. They also give you the sources and tools to manage things yourself. But if you need them, they’re available. I like that freedom as well as the convenience of knowing that they’re nearby when I need them. They’re really good. They’re very resourceful and helpful too.

    I have a loan payment plan and it's something that’s doable for my financial situation. NDR is also negotiating my debt in a reasonable fashion and from what I’m seeing so far, the service is worth the price from what I was trying to do on my own. I was getting behind on a loan before. Now, I’m still paying in order to get the debt down in a reasonable time. I’m on a fixed budget and the financial part is not easy. But it’s doable because I know the long term goal is being free of those debts and that the timeframe is coming closer to being paid off. So that feels good. It’s more like a stress relief.

    My husband left his job, so we couldn’t pay our bills and everything plummeted. I looked up National Debt Relief on the Better Business Bureau website and they looked like a reputable company, so we went with them. They provide debt reduction service for us through settlements. I had to give them all the information for all of our credit cards and what the balances were. Then, they gave us an amount that it would be and there were no out-of-cost things. All of the money went towards that until they got a settlement and then we had fees. They took the total amount of debt that we had and then they based it on their averages of what they were able to settle them with with a specific company, and then they gave us an amount that they needed to reach the goals.

    However, the program was not as good as I thought it was going to be because they made it sound like they were gonna save us at least 50% with their fees but we are only saving an average of 25%. The other bad side is it takes too long to do the settlements and people don’t like that. The plus side is they do a settlement with us and we get our money up so that it could be paid off.

    My husband and I are both almost done with the program. It takes about three years for some people depending on if they could come up with the extra money or not which we sometimes we couldn't do. That’s another downside to it because they didn’t tell us upfront that in order to accept these settlement things, we may have to come up with another lump sum amount of money. We don’t have to, but if we don’t, then they may not want to take our settlement.

    Still, the people at National Debt Relief have been great, really helpful. and understanding. They always ask, “Do you have any additional things that we need to let the credit card companies know about so that you might be able to get a better settlement offer?” So, I've had nothing but good experiences with them. National Debt Relief has been a good thing and without it, we would have been in trouble. Also, we would have had to claim bankruptcy and we didn’t wanna do that. When my husband was not working, we had one paycheck and losing one paycheck can make somebody homeless. Imagine a couple of months with no income coming in, and we've got house payments and everything else. The situation was not good.

    National Debt Relief has done what they said. There have been a couple glitches here and there with coming up with extra money, but they also work with us if we can't afford it that month. They'll take it off so that we can have that extra cushion if anything comes up. They're a great company and a great program. I got my sister in it.

    I have two disabled sons and one started having dementia. I went through a lot and I couldn't even get any help for him. So, I stayed home and I took care of him. My other son decided to move and I had to help him pay his deposit. I also had too many credit cards and I started getting behind.     The housing market crash in 2009 threw me behind on my credit cards. I tried to do a refinancing with Navy Federal but they wouldn’t do it, so I got online and saw National Debt Relief. The enrollment process was simple and clear. Then I dealt with a variety of people. They would call me whenever they made a deal with the company to let me know of the offer that they got and if I wanna proceed. I’d say yes or no and then they would take it from there. There are a couple things that I don’t quite know though until something happens, so I’m constantly monitoring the account. I know that NDR is working on it, especially with my Navy Federal accounts but I haven't made any payments on at least one of them. I'm wondering what the status is, so monthly updates would be helpful and would ease the mind a little bit.

    However, for the account they just secured or finalized, I have to pay extra $60 to $70 dollars until January because they said there wouldn’t be enough money to take of care of the payment and service fee. They take a 20% service fee. But if they get a reduced amount to be paid off, they should either make it a 10% of the original amount or take the 20% of the amount that they settled for. One of the loans that I had was $8,000 and they had taken 20% of the 8,000 but they settled for less than 4,000. Why am I paying extra on top of this? I’m paying about 850 but the payment is only about 730. But National Debt Relief cleared a few things already and I have only two accounts left. Those last two are really big so they’re saving those for last.

    National Debt Relief did a lot of advertising and they seemed to have a good rating. I was hoping of being able to combine some bills to get just one payment and it appeared that they were willing to help me out with the situation I need to be helped with. Initially, I started out making a $349 payment. I was making myself a decent money then. However, I don’t make that kind of income anymore but National Debt Relief is still trying to have me pay that kind of money every month to get an account built up, which is something I should do so they can settle with the creditors.

    I had to call them month after month and tell them that I can't afford that kind of payment. After November, I don't know whether I'll stay with them or not. I may seek other places that could help me out with the same thing I got right now.     I was looking to get out of some debt and I saw National Debt Relief's ad online. They have a good rating in Better Business Bureau. When I enrolled, we talked about what all I had and what we needed to pay off. Then they set me up and it was really quick. NDR gets settlements for me and they have been really good about getting good deals. Their reps call me whenever I have an offer to settle a debt, then I talk to them about it and what it is gonna cost. I pay twice a month to pay the amount that they quoted me and it withdraws automatically to a savings account that they run.

    Being on the program has paid off four debts for me already in just the last year. I've also got arrangements that had my payments brought down and the amount I owed was cut drastically. Plus, they've got my biggest debt that's gonna be settled this summer, so things are really going well. I'll be out of debt within the next two years.     We were in a lot of credit card debt and were just paying the minimum on our cards for a long time. We checked National Debt Relief out online and they seemed like a good company. Enrolling with them was easy. They always say you can check your thing online, but being the age that I am, I’m not really a big one for doing stuff online. It might be better if they’d mail me a statement that I could see. Being with NDR has stopped people from calling us as much and has relieved stress. Their negotiators have negotiated three different settlements for us and we're about a third of the way done. They'd send us an email, we'd call them and they'd talk about what they had done. Then they'd ask if we approve it. If I had questions, I just called and asked them and they have always been efficient in calling me back. I’ve been very satisfied with my experience with NDR.

    The interests on my bank credit cards were killing me and no matter what I paid, they weren't going anywhere. Everything was going up instead of down. I decided on using National Debt Relief and they did the debt consolidation for me. Right now, they are paying off the value of my debts. When I enrolled, my rep told me what I needed to know and what was gonna happen exactly. She took care of everything and I was very happy with her. NDR worked on my payment plan extremely well, too, and for the quality of service that I am getting from them, the cost of their service is awesome.
