    I need NDR's service because I have credit card debt. I signed up with a pretty much standard program where I make monthly payments over a specified amount of time and my debt will slowly get paid off. Enrolling was easy but understanding where I go from there has not been. Since signing up, I have received calls twice that a settlement has been presented and the first time, it was nice because it was just information that I had to agree to and they sent in the payment. But the next time, I was told about the settlement but NDR said they needed more money to be able to do it. I was not told upfront that they would randomly call and ask for extra money. I had to send in about $600 to be able to get that settlement to clear that card off but I told them not to ever do that again because it caught me. But when taxes came back I looked up and happened to have the money.

    So far, I am about a little less than halfway into the program now. When I call them, the ones that I’ve spoken with have been very helpful and they explained things well. The first one who called me to explain the first settlement was very nice but the second one that called when they needed me to send in extra money was very pushy. I hang up on him because I didn’t like his attitude. Then a couple days later, I called back and paid the money when I spoke with someone else.

    Other than that, the payment plan they gave me was doable and that was why I went with them. The other consolidation places I checked into may have handled it in a way where it wouldn’t have hurt my credit as bad but I would have ended up paying a lot more overtime. Plus, my credit was already bad so I did it in a way that in the long run it was gonna cost me the least amount of money because when NDR is doing settlement, they talk directly to the credit card company and get the interest and stuff cut off.

    My creditors call me frequently but I quit talking to them. I gave them National Debt Relief’s contact information multiple times but they said that they absolutely refuse to work with them and that I was the only one that could pay them off. NDR told me that once I give their contact information I could quit answering the phone and put my creditors on my ignore list. But once it was all said and done, if they’re not gonna work with National Debt Relief, I don’t know what'd happen.

    Also, NDR should have more communication with their clients. I get emails but some of them say Global Consumer and I’m not sure if they’re from National Debt Relief. So if NDR is sending out emails to keep me updated, they’re not very clear and I don’t know who they’re from. If not, then that is something that I would like. Maybe a monthly update on how things are would do.

I have been late payments from 4 creditors by my in expected unemployment situation.     I honestly have never used any credit counseling and debt relief services, but after a few people saying I should try one, I decided to. I did not know what questions to ask but everything sounded great. They had told me that my credit would suffer but I never knew I would have potential judgments against me and being threatened to garnish my wages. I also did not realize I would have to come up with additional money at times to pay off a creditor. What is the point of paying a slightly lower rate per month when all of a sudden I have to pull money out of nowhere. Which ultimately means my kids eat bread and cereal for dinner for another month until I have more money. I would NEVER reccomend them to anyone.

    We had some rough times and we were not able to make our ends meet. Since this has never happened to me before, I didn’t realize there was something like National Debt Relief until we did some research. I hate to do it, but I had no choice and had to go this route. I also found out that NDR's service is a lot better than most companies out there.

    NDR's customer service is awesome. The first time I called, the person who I spoke with was very positive, helpful and knowledgeable. She was so patient, too, and we felt very comfortable talking to her. The way she spoke to us was what made us decided to go with NDR. She also explained to us step-by-step how the program would work which made us more confident about it.

    The enrollment process was excellent. We are about 50% into the program and so far, NDR has helped us a lot in taking care of talking to the creditors and settling with them. They've gone above and beyond to settle at the amount which would be very comfortable for us. There was also one situation where they had to contact the attorneys and they took care of that really fast. I wish the payment was a little bit less though, but it was good that they set it up like that. Being with NDR is for the better. Even though we are still going through hardship right now, I’m trying to control everything and do a little bit more disciplined life than what we were before. Overall, NDR is doing a fantastic job.

    I was having a hard time and was trying to consolidate my bills last year. I tried a couple of banks but I got denied because my ratio was so high risk. Then a mail from National Debt Relief came in and I called them. NDR would be cutting off half of my debts and I'm just paying the balance and not the interest. I'm on a very tight budget and I break down what I receive from my check but NDR has been very good and I pay them bi-weekly. However, when they make payments I don't see the balance whenever I look at my account online.     I wanted to get out from all the credit card debt. I went through various companies on the internet that deal with debt relief and I got shut down by everybody. Somebody told me to talk to National Debt Relief and I did. I told them my credit cards, my accounts and the amounts, and I signed some power of attorney paperwork to let them deal with creditors. The enrollment process was painless. The program is about three years and I’ve been doing this for a year now. So far, several accounts have been paid off and I'm working on the rest.

    I had a creditor give me a hassle and sent me some mail. NDR sent them an email to just scan and send the paperwork on to them. They did and I haven’t heard from the creditor anymore. NDR seemed to be taking care of what they said they would and I have no issue with the cost at all. I’m more than willing to do anything I have to do to extricate myself from debt. And there was no struggle with the payment plan. It’s less than I was paying a month on all the credits cards with nothing happening. They pull money out of my check every month and once that builds up enough, they make some payments on stuff and let me know what’s going on every couple of months. I’d recommend NDR to anybody I knew in similar situation.

    I went through a divorce and I was left with a great deal of credit card debt, which mostly wasn’t mine from before marriage. I wanted to consolidate it and be able to pay it off because I wasn’t able to do it on my own with making multiple credit card payments every month. I googled National Debt Relief and did some research, and National Debt Relief seemed to have good reviews, so I went with them. They consolidated all my debt. I have an account that all my money goes into and they utilized that to negotiate with the creditors, which they have done quite well so far. The negotiator walked me through the entire process and explained everything thoroughly before I signed off on it.

    NDR took all my expenses and income into consideration and came up with a monthly amount that I would pay. They asked me if I felt that I would be able to make that payment every month and I negotiated with them a bit on that, so I had a little leeway to live life. We came up with a payment that worked for me and my budget. The cost is extremely fair although I'm broke because of what I pay a month. However, it would have been rougher not having everything consolidated and interests still accruing so, it's good. There were a few times where they tried to debit the money from my account and it wouldn't go through. I appreciate that they contacted me right away and worked with me to work something out to make up for that missed payment. I have a friend who came and asked me about National Debt Relief and she's working with them right now. I told her that they were very helpful and the process was very easy and painless.

I would call and tell them that there were no funds available at the time and I could not make those deposits with their withdrawals. But they said that those were already scheduled. The only communication I really receive from National Debt Relief are emails and letters trying to introduce themselves to me and gain my service.     I wanted to do a consolidation program and National Debt Relief had good reviews and ratings and they also seemed legit. They provided me with debt consolidation relief. I signed up online and put my phone number. Then, somebody called me and talked to me and my husband, and figured out our income and every account that I wanted under the debt consolidation program. The rep explained the entire program and debts and they got me set up that day.

    We’ve been in the program for about a year and we have another year to go and we’ll be done. We work with a team. They assign an attorney if you need one and now, I have my own attorney. Every time I call their customer service, whoever picks up has helped me however I needed, so we’re all good. When I call, they pick up right away and I get my answer right when I call. If I ask to leave a message, I’ll get a callback that day. I haven’t had a question yet that they couldn’t answer. They make me feel very comfortable.

    They based the payment plan off of the accounts I have so that I can get a good amount and start paying them off. It is a set amount every month unless I can’t do it for some reason. The cost seems all right to me. They went off of my budget since we were paying rent and other bills we have. Also, I can call them ahead of time so that they can cancel it and I don’t get overcharged. I just make up for it another way. They are good at working with me.

    Working with National Debt Relief has definitely taken a lot of stress off of me and I’m slowly building my credit back already. Every time they pay off an account, my credit starts to build back up too, which I was having troubles with. It is definitely helping our credit situation and financial situation immensely.     The person who originally enrolled me was friendly, courteous and helpful... until I mentioned that I was reconsidering based on my conscience reminding me that I was breaking a contract and in effect stealing from the people (yes, corporations are people, too) that I had signed a pledge to pay back. He did his best to convince me that capitalist corporations are evil behemoths with no conscience of their own. Maybe he was right, but does that make my decision less wrong? He tried to convince me that they weighed the risk and know that this is going to happen in some cases and build it into their business - not realizing I am smart enough to know that, in so doing, they have no choice but to take it out on others of their customers, and, so, I am therefore a partial cause for their having to build in protections that actually necessitate them hurting others to survive?

    And did he not realize that he had absolutely no right to tell me that that which I feel to be wrong on my part is okay and I should not feel that way. I would prefer that he call me now and call me a hypocrite for violating my conscience and signing this damned (and I mean that in the religious, not cursing, sense) agreement that to question my conscience. Jamez, on the other hand was amazing. I need someone I could make laugh with stupid, inane jokes and asides to help me cloud the pain I felt as I became a criminal among the corporate criminals that my original registrar viewed as inhuman scum.

    In summary: Jamez, good. Very good. Funny. Patient. Personable. Knowledgeable. Adrian, a good man, a good SALES man (and I do not mean that in a derogatory way that it can be taken... he really was good) and a good rep for the company, but who nearly cost you a customer when all he needed to say was, "I understand. It is tough. If you feel that way, you need to do what will allow you to live with yourself. Take time to think your way through this and know that we are here if and when you need us."

    I started out with an email to National Debt Relief asking questions about them. One of the representatives was able to convince me and I felt things were moving along but now I have to step into a court room. I put one of the local finance companies that I was with in the debt relief program and they kept harassing me that they wouldn't take it. NDR convinced me that the finance company would take it and that it was just a little har and they wanted some money. I then spoke to a manager from the finance company and he started being really aggressive and that he would take me to court because I wasn't being responsible with my actions.

    I called NDR again and asked if they were doing anything about it. They told me that they were and that it takes a couple of months before they can do anything to negotiate. But I don't understand why I have to step into the court room. So I'm thinking to just quit and do this on my own because it seems like I'm not getting anywhere with it. I had to settle with another company because NDR didn’t wanna accept another creditor that I owed, so I took care of it on my own.

    NDR told me that they’re gonna negotiate and drop everything, and try to go as low as they can. If they can settle with it, then they will put up a bank account and withdraw the payment out of my debit account. I wish they could have done that and that would have been a lot easier. I would only have to deal with one company, and not deal with all these people calling me, sending me letters, and still harassing me about paying them back. The NDR rep explained to me how the program worked but he never told me that they could have consolidated all of my bills. If that was done, I wouldn’t had to go through the way they’re doing it now.

    I'm paying NDR $156 every two weeks, but I haven't seen statements and I’m still getting calls and letters from my debt collectors. I’m not too happy with the outcome yet. I feel like NDR is not working with them and they're not doing anything to resolve things. I can only do so much. It doesn’t make any sense that they have to wait six months before they can get the money. I thought it was gonna be a little bit faster if I worked with them.

    I like working with National Debt Relief. They call me whenever something's up. They also decide when it's time to negotiate with the creditors and then they send how much cash I have in my account. Then they contact to ask and let me know that they are trying to negotiate one and if I agree to that then they pay them. With regards to the payment plan, they came up with a certain amount that they thought would take to cover all. It seemed fair and reasonable and I was able to negotiate with them to see how much I could pay at a time. I was hurt in one month then I called and asked them if I could pay half that time. They were very easy to work with and were very nice people too. I've talked to other companies over the years, thinking about doing different things. This is the only time I've ever done something like this. They were the least aggressive to let me decide what I wanted to do and what worked for me.
