I called NDR and spoke to an agent named Angel and he was super friendly, patient, and really wanting to help me out. Everyone that I've spoken to has been super friendly and helpful and I feel like they genuinely cared about my situation. I was looking for a debt relief business to get my credit card debt cleaned up. The enrollment process with National Debt Relief was fairly easy. It was just filling up some paperwork. I mailed something, as well as did something online, but I did more through the mail. The representative was very knowledgeable. At first, I had a little misunderstanding because I wasn’t understanding the process. And I was gonna pull out, and they reassured me, so I’m happy I stayed. I’ve been in the program for a year now, and it's been very comfortable working with them. I have two more years and I’m looking forward to paying off my debt sooner. The cost is very good and the payment plan is very reasonable. It's better than what I was actually paying, trying to juggle all those credit cards.

I’m on a five-year program where NDR takes money from my account and then they take care of all my bills. The enrollment process was easy. They’re paying one of my bills 30 cents on a dollar. I get 10,100 and I’m only paying 188 per seven payments, so that’s good. It’s a lot cheaper than me paying it all. I pay 144 every other week and then they pay the down fixed on my credit card. They’re working on one of my accounts now. It should be done in October. But still they haven’t got it written down on my late payments. I don’t understand why they can’t do the late payments while they’re paying off the credit cards.
My credit score went up, but it’s not going up fast enough because the late payment is still there. Every time I call my negotiator, she's not there. I can't get into my account online anymore, and every time I call, I get an answering machine so I just gave up. The only time that NDR really works with you is to get you in the program and when you’re in the program and they’re taking your money, they don’t care anymore.

I couldn’t get rid of all my credit card debts and then I lost one of my jobs. I didn’t wanna claim bankruptcy and I’d rather just try to pay for some of the bills. Enrolling with National Debt Relief was done easily over the phone where they just asked me what my bills were, then they needed copies of the stuff and I emailed it to them. They then came up with a plan for me and it seems to be working out pretty well, so far. I’ve been with them since around November of last year and I have about three more years to go. They came up with a set rate and they asked me that they had to raise it one time. The rate is now at $50 a month which is a lot but I’m okay with it.
Right now, Discover Card is trying to sue me and I took the lawyer section and NDR put me on with a lawyer. I’ve been emailing her back and forth. The NDR reps are very good and if I call them, they verify everything in making sure who I am and they help me out as much as they can right away and if not, they get an answer and call me back. NDR helps a little bit because I don’t have all the creditors calling constantly now.

I got with the wrong individual and bought an engagement ring and a few other things. I wasn’t going to be able to pay everything on time and I want to get on with my life in a couple of years. I did a little research and went with National Debt Relief. The typical program is 24 to 30 months, but they extended me for three years and it has been a little over a year now. They’ve settled with a few of my creditors but there are still two companies that they haven't gotten settlements with. They would call me and say they got an update for me but it's not and they just wanna update my information. It has been about four months since I've heard anything, so that's a little frustrating. Also, they're constantly asking me to put more money into their program, which I don't understand.

I was contemplating bankruptcy but I did some researching online and National Debt Relief's reviews were really good. I enrolled with them a few months ago and the most difficult part was contacting the creditor for statements. A lot of my accounts had been closed for a long time so it was not like I was getting monthly statements from them. Otherwise, it was fairly easy. They are now resolving my credit card debt and on the portal, it says I'm at about 40% in the process. I was a little leery at first because I checked on my credit report and my score plummeted. That was concerning to me because I was hoping that in resolving the debts, my score would start to increase. But it was explained to me that over time, it would get better.
There is one main thing that concerns me though. Even though the debts are resolved, the monthly payment amount does not change. So if I enrolled five debts then settled two, the net amount stays the same. I understand that part because it's based on the balances. What concerns me with that is if after all of them are paid and I add an account, then the monthly amount still wouldn't change. Once I've settled a couple of debts, the monthly amount should be adjusted. Nonetheless, the program is very economical because for the amount of research and negotiations that they do, they deserve compensation. And yet, the amount that they take from each account is not something that makes me say I'm being ripped off.
I've spoken to different representatives and I've only had one who was a little nonchalant and very matter-of-fact. He was very coy and snippy whenever I asked a question. He just wasn't feeling it that day. So I asked for them to transfer with someone else. On the other hand, they have been very cooperative in terms of the payment plan. I was injured on the job recently so I had to adjust the date and their representative gave me a date that I could make the payment by without losing my offers.
That was very beneficial because injuries are unplanned. I didn't plan on being off work and I didn't wanna start something and not be able to complete it. That's what would have happened if I had lost those offers. So the representative being versatile enough to go in and look for the latest payment date where I would still satisfy my obligation was very helpful. All in all, I would recommend National Debt Relief. Before resorting to bankruptcy, definitely try them first. Even though the credit score is really affected negatively initially, it gives you a way of settling your debts. At least they're settled and not all just hanging around out there.

James, you're correct: the Welcome Call does reiterate the same information you were given by your enrollment agent the day before. This is intentional. In the initial stages of the program, there's a lot of information to retain and we want to make sure that you have the best possible understanding of this program and what you've signed up for. We also want to make sure you didn't miss anything from your conversation with the enrollment agent. The purpose of these calls isn't to annoy or irritate you; it's to make sure you have all the tools you need to be as successful as possible in your goal of becoming debt-free. I got laid off a while back, and I was out for about three months. I got behind on everything and tried to catch up ourselves, but it wasn’t working. I went to National Debt Relief as they had the best reviews that I saw out of everybody. During the enrollment, my wife handled all the paperwork, as far as all the signing. I talked to the representative a couple of times and they called me whenever a card has been settled. Whenever they’re ready to settle another one, they will call me and let me know where the payments are going. They always get a hold of me about everything and everybody has been pretty helpful. The payment plan works out well too. All my cards are paid off except for a couple of them. The only thing that concerned me is the card we're working on now. My payments are actually higher than what they said they are gonna be. But other than that, I'm getting out of debt and the cost is good.

When I was out of work and my debt kept piling up, I saw this company's services as a relief. I had been with another debt consolidation company before but they took $3,000 of my money without paying anything. So I was very nervous about doing this with National Debt Relief. But with this company, I'm putting the money in paying the debt off myself. I get to go on to my account and monitor it myself to see where it's going. That was one thing that I liked. Instead of them doing all the work, I felt like I was participating too.
The enrollment was simple too, and when I needed help, somebody walked me through it. The representative I worked with was really good as well. If I had any questions, he explained it to me. He didn't make me feel stupid when I was asking questions that I didn't understand. He would break it down to me and he did that in a way where he wasn't trying to push it and sell it. But it was so informative that he even called back the next day to ask me if I had logged back onto my account and if I had any issues. It was so well-informed and very professional. Before I got off the phone, I knew we were on the same page.
I'm just about done with the program now, and it has been paying off my creditors and working out a deal to get the amount lowered. Plus my creditors haven't bothered me at all. I ran into one problem with my last debt though. National Debt Relief had gotten $1000 off and they called me, asking if I would like to accept or refuse it. I had been out of work for a couple of weeks and I had two shoulder surgeries. I was still able to make payments which they were checking it out of my bank account draft. But I asked if I could refuse the offer. The representative asked why and I told her that I was out of work again. Then she told me that she would make me talk to her supervisor because I rejected the offer.
The supervisor asked why and I told her that I was out of work and I didn't know how long it was gonna be. It could last up to eight weeks. She was like, "Well, I'll note that but you know, we can't guarantee." If I wanted a guarantee, I would have talked to Jesus about it. It was something that was out of my control and I didn't wanna go ahead, sign up and say that I would pay this amount of money. At that time, I was letting my grocery slide and cutting back on my food. I had to have gas to get to rehab and the doctor's appointments too. But that was the only time I had an issue. I researched and read majority of the success stories, and the debt program that I was in wasn't working out for me so I looked into National Debt Relief. Everything went smoothly on the enrollment process with them. I spoke with the representative and they did everything through phone or online by emails. There were multiple persons I spoke with and everyone I called tried their best to help my situation. They contacted my creditors and negotiated with them. I gave the information such as the payment plan, they did their research and worked accordingly. My debt is being paid and I don't have to pay as much as I would have to pay on a regular. I've been in the program for four months and it shows that everything is being deducted. It’s good to know that it’s working out that way. National Debt Relief gave me debt freedom. My experience has been excellent so far and I would recommend them to friends.

Found the verbiage, emails and documentation to be redundant and confusing at times. Too much to absorb in a short period of time and not fully understanding all of the agreements. Found myself saying "OK" when I should have been saying "Hold On". Reps were very pleasant at all times, it is just the process that should be streamlined and simplified.

I was overwhelmed in debt and couldn't figure out a way to fix my problem. After doing some research about debt relief programs and bankruptcy I found NDR to be the best resolution for me. Updated on 08/08/2019: When I was researching how I can get help with my credit card debts, I stumbled upon National Debt Relief. They were the only company I found, but I did some research and I heard good reviews so I decided to try them out. I couldn't pay off my credit cards every month, so I might as well get some help. When I told Chase about it, they gave me a hard time in the beginning. At first, I was skeptical and worried, but NDR reassured me that they work with Chase. Chase is just a bit hard to work with sometimes because they’re so strict.
Everyone at NDR seemed great. They were all helpful and took the time to call me just to give me updates. And every time I call them to see what was going on, they tried their best to make a settlement with Chase. And in the end, when NDR told me that they had a settlement, I was happy about it. The communication was awesome. I had an issue with Chase really bugging me and calling me all the time about paying. NDR reassured me to try to ignore those calls, but sometimes, that never works out. But NDR tried to reassure me that it was a process and that it was hard, and it also made me put my trust and faith with them.
The negotiator was great. She gave me updates that they had a settlement offer. I’m happy and really relieved that I paid off one of my credit cards. And, hopefully, NDR will help me pay off my other two credit cards by the end of 2020. I found the program hard at times because of my other expenses and all my other bills. But the decision not to use my credits card anymore helped a lot and it was a little less stressful financial-wise.
I understand that everything is a process. I’m not impatient, but I’m nervous and scared sometimes. I wish that they warned me in the beginning that Chase was a little hard to negotiate with. That could have helped ease my mind in the beginning. It was a struggle in the beginning, with just waiting for a settlement. But I just learned to be patient, to trust the process and to trust NDR with regards to settling my debt. And at the end of the day, I think I made the right choice with NDR. I am happy with them and I am less scared to know that everything worked out well.

I was without a job for a while and I got divorced too, which contributed to increasing my debts. I decided on calling National Debt Relief after hearing that they're good. They also have reviews at the Better Business Bureau and Google, and everybody says that their program works. They offered me a program wherein they can consolidate or reduce all my debts to 40% or less and I would have to pay just $100 on a bi-monthly basis. I got enrolled and I had to make some selections at the beginning, but the process was quick.
I was able bring down my monthly debt payment to a reasonable amount that I can afford, which is the most important thing for me. The program is also convenient for me because based on the amount of debts that I have right now, I'm comfortable with the amount of money that I'm paying. They charge me $250 twice a month, so it's not all at once. I have now passed through the first quarter of the process. I've already settled two of my debts and I'm looking forward to going over the whole 48 months.
Sometimes though, I have to sign paperwork which I don't like. For instance, they settled one of my debts and then I had to go through the process of approval. It's redundant considering that I already made an agreement with them and authorized them to do it. Other than that, working with NDR’s people was a good experience. My rep was able to explain everything in detail and he does all he says he does. He set up really good expectations and my dealings with him have been fast and straightforward.
I'm amazed with the way that NDR went with this and I've already told a couple of people about it. I even told my ex-wife that it works. I would recommend, though, for NDR to have people following up at least twice a year to make the service more personalized and for customers to feel that they are helping. NDR sends me notifications which I approve and everything goes fast, but at the end of the day, it would be good if we could talk to an adviser or someone there so we can follow up and see how many debts we have down.

I reached out to National Debt Relief for consolidation. I've talked with several individuals from NDR and I'm happy with it. I gave my debt information and they worked with them. We completed one and we're resolving three right now - and one still enrolled. I gave them an option to deal with the accounts instead of them hitting me with these large numbers that were impossible at the time. I always hear about what I owe and how these companies had to collect in full. It was impossible. I'm working with National, and it's not possible to pay it all at once, so they make it more reasonable to work with. They lowered the payments. Credit is easy to get and once you're on the negative end of it, it's kinda hard to get out of it so NDR was a big help. I would highly recommend them.

I’ve gotten myself in debt more than I can handle, and then I decided to give NDR a try because I was stressed and depressed about my financial crisis. I called National Debt Relief and enrolled in their program due to my credit card debt. I'm about halfway in the process and they've already settled some of the debts. They're continuing to settle the others. They're very nice and very helpful, particularly my negotiator who has been very comfortable to work with. The installment plan has been explained to me and the program cost is fine for the quality of service. Working with National Debt Relief has been great and if you're considering them, then call them.

I had been trying to get out of debt for at least a year and had been paying more than the minimum balance required, but I was not seeing a dent in what I owed. I started looking at different places that could help. I looked at personal loans to see if that was a good option, but it seemed like that was just gonna make things worse for me and my wife. National Debt Relief laid everything out - how much I owe, what I was potentially gonna pay, and my monthly payment to them. They also told me how they were getting paid. Everything was right out in the open and it was clear that it was gonna be the fastest route to getting out of debt.
I had to agree to a couple of different credit cards and that they were gonna take care of. I had one at 0% that I wanted to do on my own, but they said it would be better to do it all at once. I had to agree to let them take on all of my debt to make sure that everything was taken care of. I had to then give them my personal information so that they could gather all the information on what I owed. Then, we set up an automatic payment that I send over each month. The monthly payment was a combination of what they thought they were gonna be able to negotiate my debt down to and what I would be paying them. It was $200 less than all my minimum payments added together. I was immediately gonna see savings, which was nice.
They've told me upfront what to expect so I knew the collection calls were gonna come and that they were doing their thing on the other side. I just had to let it go until they contacted me. NDR was able to negotiate a lot of my stuff down so that we can get the debt taken care of and move on with our lives. They would contact me when they have a settlement to talk about. They’ve all been really nice and accommodating. I had one that came in around the same time as another one was going on and the numbers weren’t gonna work out. They were able to go back, negotiate and figure it out. They changed the payment dates so that it would work out so we could have two credits being paid off all at once. I had a couple of questions on stuff and I called them. They’ve been very clear and recommended I pull it up in my page so I could look at the numbers with them. Everyone I talked to has been nice, friendly and understanding.
Four months in, I started to see some settlements come in. It has been seven months since I started and I have had half of my debt paid off. We have gotten two of my major ones paid off, which feels great. I just have a couple of small ones here to take care of and I’ll be done. You’re not in the greatest position of your life, but NDR works with you and try to figure out what’s the best solution to get you into a better position. Their service is great and what they charge is perfect and in line with what they provide. Everything has been spectacular with National Debt Relief.
I’ve recommended NDR to a few guys I work with who were the same boat. A couple of co-workers were talking about going filing for bankruptcy. One has taken out a debt consolidation loan and has seen how it's not beneficial to him. I told him before he took that big step of going to bankruptcy, he may wanna at least call and see what NDR can do for him.

Everyone was very patient, as I ask a lot of questions. They were transparent, honest and I was able to verify their answers. I like being an informed consumer, so I have researched several of National Debt Relief's competitors. I graphed cost and fees, I listed services and customer services. In the end, the consumer advocate.org website was correct NDR is #1. Thus, if you need help, I think you should get it here.

The first person I called a few months ago was so kind but we just weren’t ready to take the step yet. We decided on Saturday that we were ready and this is where we needed to go. The first person here that my husband called told us our only option was to file bankruptcy and that was heartbreaking but then he called back and got Dan. Dan was there for us 100%. He has answered tons of my questions, got us together on three way calls to make my life easier and just went above and beyond in every way. He let us know each and every step and he has been nothing but amazing. Totally transparent process and I love that. Our welcome call guy was pretty awesome too. He answered even more of my questions and let me know that I have a lawyer on stand-by for any issues that arise now. I got financially in debt with credit cards. I looked National Debt Relief up on Better Business Bureau, looked up their site and read what they had to offer. I felt better with NDR than some of the other companies, so I went with them. The rep whom I worked with explained everything well enough to me. I was told what their reps would do and that the process could take 24 to 36 months. They said they would keep me informed if anything comes up. Now, I am about 43% complete with the process and they've settled several of the accounts already. If my friends ever have financial problems with their credit card, I would recommend National Debt Relief, just for the fact of what they've done for me.

I had too much debt so I reached out to National Debt Relief and they've been good. I tried two other debt settlement companies, but National was quicker and they got everything done quickly. Enrolling with them was easy. So far, their program has been working well. Everything was the way they said it was gonna be. I even spend less money than what they told me I was gonna spend. At this point, I've been with them for three years and we already have two settlement offers. The reps have always been there when I had any questions and they always keep me up-to-date with whatever is going on, such as if there are any offers on the table or if they need something from me. For the quality of service that I receive from National, the cost is fair and it is affordable. Working with them is a good way to pay off my debts without worrying because these are all settled in one payment so the process is easier.

I had gotten over my head in credit card debt while being a stay at home mom to my 3 kids. My husband overtime and bonuses had dried up and we had come to depend on them to make ends meet. Thereafter, they've been taking the 16th month out of my check and paying off different debts and credit cards. I've been in the process for over a year and my reps have been very nice. I hurt my back and I was missing a lot of work, which led to back payments. First, I was with another company and they didn’t calculate the payments right. I couldn't put money in the bank but my money was disappearing. They were supposed to lower my payments but it got way out of hand. So I got in contact with National Debt Relief from a guy I work with. I just called NDR and told them my hardship story and they accepted me. I filled out some paperwork and provided them with check stubs to see what I was making. And then, I just had to put my initial and sign the papers then send them back.
NDR set up a base pay where they take the money out of my bank. They work with all the creditors and they came up with a price based on whatever the settlement they were set on. It was actually lower than what I was paying out because, with that other company, there were a few times that the only thing I was keeping for myself is my rent and gas money, and then I couldn’t get ahead of them. So I like the way it works here with NDR.
NDR got it under control and took some weight off my back. I only have three creditors left and within another year or so, I’ll be cleared up. They’re also nice people. Recently, I had a lung collapsed on me and I was in the hospital. I had to miss a payment but they understood that. I just told them that they can resume taking their money when I get back to work and they were really nice about it. Every time I spoke to them, they’ve been considerate and they’re decent people to work with. It has been a little over a year and I’ve never had anything come back on me in a bad way. They seemed to be legit. I’ve already told a few people that National Debt Relief can help them if they qualify.
