    I’m retired and my husband is unable to work now. We were living off my social security and all these credit cards. But I just couldn't keep up with it. I enrolled with National and it was easy. I've been with them for nine months now and they've been good. But I keep getting letters from one of the creditors saying if we pay off 200 and something dollars, they will get rid of our credit.     I was drowning and I couldn't afford my payments anymore. I was basically living off of credit and I didn't want to do that. National Debt Relief consolidated my debt. My program is for two and a half years. They're currently negotiating and so far they have negotiated payoffs for a couple of credit cards that I have. It’s been amazing. Also, my monthly payment is flexible. If I can't make a payment on the 15th of the month, I can just send them an email or give them a quick call and they would change it. Or, if I can't make a payment for one month, they would adjust it accordingly. That is great for me considering my household and bills that come out. The rep was very consistent. She had to call me back a couple of times because she had to verify that I was qualified. She was also informative and answered every question that I had. I was very comfortable working with her.

    The only thing that I have a problem is that they charge every single time I contact them. If I call or send them an email to have them change my date, there's literally a fee. But they have a great program. It’s given me an opportunity to be debt-free ‘cause I hate owing people. It impacts my credit. My ultimate goal is to be a homeowner. I would definitely recommend NDR.

    I'll be starting to pay my student loans pretty soon and I needed to reduce my debt. I was looking into either paying it off or getting a loan. It was getting to the point where I had to do something about my student loans or I wouldn’t be able to pay them. I've been with National for about nine months and it's been a very good experience. They’ve communicated pretty well and let me know what’s going on when things come up. But it's gonna be a while to complete the program because they made agreements for certain companies to do payments instead of a lump sum thing.     I am a student and trying to pay off debt is hard when you're going to school. I did my research on National Debt Relief and went that route instead of bankruptcy. I've been in the program since last June. I had three credit cards and they've settled two of them so far. In my experience, their negotiator has been really helpful. They call and check on me and made sure I was okay on making my monthly payments. They also asked if any financial hardship has occurred. Every semester, my schedule changes and it's very hard with work. They've had to change my payment because my pay schedule changed and I was working less. They accommodated me being in school and working less, which was nice.

    I feel customers should have options, though, where if they have money, they should be able to pay a little bit more instead of making little payments. I have a smaller credit card which was $800 that got put into the program. I have 10 payments of $15 and then, I have a bunch of payments for $55 after that. If I could just pay one card off and get it out the way, then I can put more money towards my other cards.

    Other than that, the payment plan is reasonable. I was paying almost $600 in my three credit cards and now I pay 310 a month, which is a big difference. And I split the payment, so it's very easy. I have less to worry about and I'm able to focus on school and not be so overwhelmed with bills. Also, the cost is fair and it should be because they have to deal with the negotiating, not me, which is very nice because creditors like to call and bug you. I would expect nothing less than to be charged something and I'm just happy I don't have to deal with my credit cards. NDR has been super helpful with the whole process.

    When I called National Debt Relief, the rep I spoke to initially convinced me that it was a safe company, which I was concerned about. Everything he said really made sense and he was very honest. At first, I did not understand how NDR operates and I was asking the negotiator about the fees that they charge. He was really thorough in telling me how it is all broken down. Whenever I had questions, I simply called their 800 number and whoever I was speaking to answered everything professionally.

    The process was very simple. Once I set up the account, they debited the money once a month on the 10th. They called twice recently to explain the last two accounts that they had to settle. Right after what they told me, there was another email within a day saying that they completed the process, the company accepted and that the debt is over. At the very end two months ago, I had to call to say that I’d be three days short of having the monthly. They put me on to a supervisor who analyzed my account and said that they would help me with it and they did a good job. At this point, the process is over but it took a long time for the creditors to settle. They must've put the negotiators through a lot of trouble and stress until they finally settled.

    Now I’m stuck again and I have one Target card up to $7,500 that I can’t pay down. I really want another card to be put in there. Nevertheless, NDR is a great company and I had no problems in my two-year participation with them. They solved my credit problem and my score revived itself at 710 from the low sectors. I had $12,000 in the other two cards and I had $12,000 of other debt, but I was able to get the $12,000 handled two years ago. Now that the debits stopped, it’s easier for me to perform my BillPay.

    My husband of 15 years and I divorced in September. He was very credit card happy so we had all of these joint debts. I had lost my cousin who was one of my clients, then I had a loss of income of $1000 a month. I needed to make some headway, so I sought the debt consolidation service of National Debt Relief. After doing some research, I chose them over the other companies. My experience in using them has been really good. The enrollment process was easy. The reps walked me through it and they were very helpful. They explained everything very clearly and I wasn’t confused at all.

    NDR worked with me on a payment plan. I was comfortable working with the debt negotiator. At first, though, I was a little apprehensive because I talked to different people and wanted input and advice. It would have been great if I could have made arrangements and paid things off without a third party. But in my circumstances, I wasn’t able to do that. There was too much debt-to-income ratio, so working with NDR was a no-brainer. I have two years left to complete the program and I have already paid off quite a bit of stuff. I have recommended NDR. As a matter of fact, one of my very dear friends was struggling and I passed their number along to her.

    Beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing. Seems they really give a **. Well no actually they just want to collect that 20% fee then hand you off. I too thought this was the light at the end of the tunnel. After 2 years on their program I was told that I qualified for the advanced program since I have been so steady paying. Then comes a lending institution which you never see any truth in lending statement. And yes somehow they transferred my call directly to them. Hmmm??? I was told this way I would start rebuilding my credit score.

    In fact this was a way for Debt Wolves to advance funding to collect $14,000 in fees sooner. Now I am at the end. I add my settlement total, finance fees since I finally see a truth in lending document, Debt Wolves' fees, Extra taxes paid (and you will see 1099s) And I am $1,000 further behind than when I started 2 years ago. I just cannot understand how this is legal. Instead of paying 18,000 down on my debt I handed crooks almost 14,000 dollars to line their pockets. In closing don't believe it. Pay down your debt one at a time. Don't waste your money on lies and fees.

They've been calling our creditors and settling our debts with them. They have set us up with monthly payments to pay off our debts.     National Debt Relief was the right place for me at the right time. They provided me with consolidation service for my medical debt, and they made contact with the people of the different organizations I owed money to. There were a couple of weird situations going on right now, but all in all, it seems like they did a very good job with most of my creditors.

    Getting signed up was very easy. And my experience with the negotiators has been good. I have some problems communicating over the phone since I have Parkinson's and occasionally, my voice cuts out and I'm not really understandable, but I can't tell them that's happening. So, there has been a couple of times they couldn't understand me, and it took a while to get the information across, but they've handled it very well. We had one problem though. Apparently, one of my creditors doesn’t want to get on board so I've had to send a notarized permission-to-litigate-for-me form. It took them a couple of times now.

    National Debt worked with me really well on my payment plan. They gave me a reasonable amount. I had enough left over to live on and I was able to make progress on my debt. They did a very good job with that. I already have a lot on my plate with serious family and health problems, so it seems very good to have a large enough organization that there was somebody there to help me no matter when I called. It goes smoothly to those five different people in the place and they've all been very helpful.

    I had more debt than I had income. The information that National offered to me was what I believe I was looking for at the time. During the enrollment process, it was easy to fill out internal questions - name, phone number, and all that information. The program has been great. I originally listed five debts and two of them are completely done. One is being negotiated down to where it’s pretty reasonable and I will have that one paid up in September.

    The first time that the payment plan was presented to me, they told me what my monthly payment was going to be. It worked for my budget.     I wanted to do a consolidation and National was the first company I came across. The enrollment was easy and their program helped to relieve a lot of the anxiety that I was experiencing. I still have about three years with them but I'm looking at a possibility of coming out of this sooner. When I talk with their negotiator, I get a different one every time. But for the most part, they do an excellent job with explaining the progress that they made or what agreements that they have been able to negotiate on my behalf for the different creditors that I have. For the most part, I'm very comfortable working with them.

    They tell you to expect a drop in credit score but the realization of it is actually a surprise that your credit score drops so quickly. Mine is slowly building its way back up though. The one thing that bothered me the most was that there are some creditors that I opted not to enroll in the program that also started closing out my accounts that were actually in good standing. I wasn’t expecting that. I don't know if there's anything NDR could do about that. I know that they don’t have any control over what other creditors decide to do with your accounts. I think that's one of the things that people should be aware of so that they'd know that they could expect something of that nature to take place if they decide to try to keep managing some of their other accounts on their own.

    Right now, for the most part, the quoted rate for the program that I'm in has stayed the same. There have only been a few instances where I had to contribute an additional amount but for a short amount of time, maybe one or two additional payments in order to solidify a deal that NDR is brokering on my behalf. NDR is an excellent program and they are doing an excellent job. They are doing exactly what I was expecting and what they offered me at the onset of signing on to the program.
