National Debt Relief Reviews

I’m not real satisfied with National Debt Relief. They're taking out more than I thought. I’ve talked with some of the creditors and they said I could do the same thing without service and not pay 20, 25% or whatever I’m paying National Debt Relief. Another example is I was thrown into this bank for five or six months. The minute National Debt Relief aligns with one creditor, they take out their fee and leave me hanging with the other creditors to ruin my credit for another four or five months until the bank account builds up. I was under the impression that they would fork some money over or that all the creditors would be acknowledged within a six to eight-month period, although nothing was in writing. I entered the program in December and they kinda hinted that all the creditors would be resolved or we’d have agreement within that period but it’s not the case.

I had concerns about the total amount of debt I had and my credit score. I’ve been shopping around for years and I tried so many different methods. I went through loan sharks, the LendingTree, and all these other advertisements and debt consolidation. National Debt Relief was the one that helped me out the most. They understood what I was going through. We came up with a plan and they came up with a fair price that I can afford each month.

Been looking for ways to clear my surrounding debts so I may have peace of mind. Happy to finally found great and generous associates to assist me during the process. Thank you so much for the assistance. Very much needed!!!

I had a good experience with the person who signed me up, Ariana ** ( my only suggestion to her is that she stop repeating the phrase "no problem" during the call). Otherwise she was very good. The person who did my welcome call was almost unintelligible. She may have been tired, but I had a hard time understanding her. She sounded garbled. I appreciate the service they both gave. I had a lot of changes in my life. I got married and got a house so, added expenses meant I needed to clean up some other stuff. I remember seeing National Debt Relief’s advertisement on television. Then after an internet search, they got high marks with the Better Business Bureau and everything. So, they seemed to be the logical choice to go with. Plus, everything seemed to point that they were honest and helpful.

Will have to wait and really review after payments start. But over the phone service has been very easy. Just a little time consuming but there is also a lot to be done so I understand. Hopefully everything will work out well.

NDR has been very helpful so far! Both people from the company I have spoken with so far have been kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about their company and about debt forgiveness. They genuinely seem to want to help me with my debt. My current debt is over $18000, and my previous monthly payments to cover everything were over $600. Since I recently lost my job, that's basically impossible. NDR has given me the option to pay $374 a month instead, for 39 months, and be done with my debt at that point because they don't want interest! All of their fees are included in the payments as well, unlike most credit cards.

I was so nervous to call and use the service, but the gentleman that took my call was very kind and helpful, answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my issues. It's so amazing how much better I feel knowing that I have help dealing with my creditors and that it will end in a few years instead of 30.

Could not really hear/understand the woman that called the second time. Felt like I was constantly asking “what” because she talked too fast and it all mushed together. National Debt Relief had the best reviews. And I got in contact with them to get my debt paid off. I called them. I left a voicemail, my name and number. They called me back and asked me some questions and went through my living situation, my income, what had happened that led me to need to settle my debt, and the total amount. I’m still working on the program. I'm in a three-year program and they just finalized and settled the last one, so it will be done here very soon. NDR's customer service was always really good. NDR has gotten me to the point where I got my debts all squared away. I already have recommended them to somebody.

When speaking initially to Greg. I was nervous because I understand the repercussions of this type of program, but he was able to ease my mind and assure me that NDR will take care of everything. The Welcome call helped to answer any additional questions I had as well.

National Debt Relief was one of the top rated companies online. They always try to help you and keep you engaged with them. I like how the portal was set up and it was pretty easy to use. It's a pretty stressful situation dealing with the enrollment process, but it was pretty simple to do.

I was trying to satisfy my credit card debt. National Debt Relief took over from another consolidated debt company and broke the payments down so I could pay off my debt in a reasonable time. They did a fine job with the payment plan setup. They drew out a payment and I accepted it. I’m paying the monthly payment to pay down my debt. In two to three years, I’m gonna be debt-free. At this point, I’m a year in. It's pretty simple.

A friend told me that National Debt Relief was pretty good. I used their service a couple of times and though they've been okay, I didn’t see any drastic changes in my credit. Enrolling was a lot of money and I am paying $560 per month all in one bill. It feels a bit too much and I wish that the payments were a bit smaller. Though the professionalism of their negotiators was good, their process was a lot of runarounds. They explained to me they're not really responsible for boosting my credit. They're just taking care of my debts and even though I take care of my debt, I’m still gonna have charge-offs on it. NDR sends out letters to creditors but I could still be charged off. I was taking care of a whole bunch of debt on time but then when I went to go get an apartment last year, my report was saying that I wasn’t paying some of my bills on time. NDR was supposed to accumulate everything in one bill and make sure I’m paying on time.

My experience with NDR was very uplifting. Stephen was so very patient with me and explained things in detail. I didn't know an Organization like this existed! I am so glad I signed up. It took a big burden off my shoulders. I can now breathe and start saving money again instead of hundreds of dollars going to interest and the debt never going down.

I overspent and things were getting a little too tight with doctors and this, that, and the other, so I had to do something with my bills. I looked National Debt Relief up on the internet and it had the triple A thing at the bottom. And it was listed, so it seemed like it was a good reputable place. The enrollment process was easy. So far, we're just now getting started with knocking the bills down. My negotiator is very nice to talk to and very easy to get along with. He is very friendly. I felt at ease talking to him.

National Debt Relief was a referral and I'm almost halfway through the program. The credit score has to go down before they can do anything but they would be a good choice for anyone asking about them. I only had one bout of negativity with them. Initially, they ended up giving me the main agreement with my debt. I misplaced the email so I had to reach out with them several months later and I wanted a copy of it. You couldn't go online and get the copy. You had to request it and it took them about three weeks to get me the copy. They sent it in a goofy format of emailing, and then I had to reach out to them.

Everything about my experience with them has been going great. The enrollment process was very easy and very seamless. But I would change the communication to the customer. There's very few communication with the customer. Other than that, our negotiator was very nice, kind, and very knowledgeable about the process. If I emailed National Debt, they were responsive and timely. And also, they were very accommodating when the payments could be due. So far, so good. I'm looking forward to being debt-free.

I had a lot of debt accruing, and I was getting late and overdraft fees and my interest rates. My minimums were too low for me to keep up. So, I was forced to try and find some kinda settlement. Through an internet search, National Debt Relief stood out over some of the other companies. They offered me debt consolidation and the enrollment process wasn’t too complicated on my end. The people I talked to had all the information of the debts that I had that were outstanding and that were on my credit report. They’re also pretty helpful. They could just pull up the debts that I needed to settle. And when I had some minor issues, like a couple of months ago when I paid a lesser amount, they made an agreement where I could pay more monthly for the next six months.

National Debt Relief was the first company that I looked up and they charged the least amount but that ended up being incorrect. Still, I went with them. Their enrollment process was nice and easy, and then in a matter of 45 minutes on the phone, I was all set. The only thing I didn’t like was their fee and how much they charged. They set me up with a very reasonable payment plan, it's just that their fee is what I’m mostly paying for rather than my actual debt.

We tried another company, and we weren’t pleased with them. The enrollment process with National Debt Relief was fairly easy and it got started in about two months. Right now, I’m probably a third of the way through. The negotiators were reasonable but we were concerned that they set us up on a plan and then, as the plan materialized, they negotiated their information for us. They came back with us with a lump sum settlement, which in some cases, was a lot more than we could afford all at one time. They didn’t set up the initial way that we talked about per month. So, when they would agree with something or we would try to agree with something, we would need payments to set it up so we could pay that, rather than pay it all at one lump sum, because we didn’t have that. Also, NDR was not very clear with the cost of anything.

I sought for assistance from NDR because of credit card debt. When I went online and started doing research, I saw their reviews online seemed really promising. I called them and I talked with someone a few times. They brought up my reports and it was an efficient process. It happened fast. They got me up and started really quickly. My first payment was made and there have already been two creditors that they made deals with that had been paid off, so the customer service aspect of it was great. I can go on to their homepage and it shows what has been resolved and what they’re working on. I’m just surprised with some of the fees that I’m being charged. I don’t think that the fees were explained to me. I also noticed that there was a double payment taken out of my account and one of them actually caused it to go into a negative balance, and I got a $38 overdraft charge for it.

I was so far in debt I didn't know what to do. Then I went online and found NDR. They were so understanding, not judging me at all. The help they offered was just what I needed. I feel like I got my life back with the help they offered me.

When I called, NDR was pretty helpful and we got the information. I signed up for five years for a fixed amount of money. They gave me a number, like how much I was gonna pay compared to how much I owed. Most of the debt is settled and I have less than a year to go. But I told them that I didn’t know that my credit was gonna suffer so much. It plummeted. Other than that, I haven’t had any problems with their customer service. They’re really helpful. Anytime that a card is settled, they’d call me and make sure that I’d know.

Everything went fine, went through the whole process on the phone and they were able to find all of my debts to have a better understand where do I stand. I was approved less an hour later with the program and looking forward to clear my debt.

The people are persistent in calling to the point of harassing. But it gets the job done. I spoke to Daryll ** for the initial info gathering session. I received voice messages from Wayne **, Monica **, and Kim ** before being able to get back with the Welcome team. Then spoke to Gavery ** for the Welcome portion. Both Daryll and Gavery were very nice and helpful with my questions. Am astonished to see the fee of nearly $8,000 to save me $10,000. As explained to me this fee will cover all late charges, interest, lawyer insurance, bank fees for the savings account. 21% Wow! If only you could negotiate drastically lower interest rates, without having to incur late and more interest charges, etc.

The agent was very knowledgeable and was always ready to answers any of our questions and always returned our phone call back in a timely manner and they always told me to call them if I had any issues with creditors calling me.

I had to review my calls received, and guessed that the caller was from Nat. Debt Relief. I would advise in future that the person calling have clear diction, and slower speech. I found both Gilbert and Edwin to be very helpful, although, understandably, Edwin was going through his material rather quickly. He would stop at my request, however, and was very professional about it.

I liked the structure that NDR had - and what they were doing, and how they would get things done. I pay them monthly and they have a list of all of my debtors. And from there, they negotiate with my debtors and tell me how much it will take, or how much to become debt-free. They gave me a price to pay per month, and it was fair. I didn’t have to try to talk to my debtors and try to negotiate with them. They can often be mean, and things can get ugly. So I felt like NDR took a load off of me having to deal with that.

Marc was awesome explaining everything to me even though he wasn’t able to contact me on my cell (my Cell’s fault not his). I understand I am going to take a hit on my credit but this seems like the best and easiest way to stay accountable to get back to a place where I am not stressing about creditors constantly calling. I didn’t mean to fall behind but when I did I found it impossible to get caught back up. I look forward to seeing this process and program work.

I didn't appreciate it and your reps sound like they're tired of it too. The faster you get them off the phone and on to another customer call the more they and you will increase your incomes. God it's almost like financing a car... Now, order shorter scripts & contracts in everyday conversive english. I DON'T care how high & mighty they think they are, they need to get off their JD butts, and get real...
